Nancy, Stephanie and Becca are the ultimate trio! They really set off the atmosphere. They made me feel super comfortable plus its a really cool dive bar. Terrells little hidden gem. I will definitely be going back. People are very awesome. Recommend to anyone wanting a cool place to hang out.

We randomly discovered this bar. Walking in, you instantly felt welcomed. All of the local regulars were extremely nice to us. The bartender Susan was amazing! We also got to meet the owner Nell. She talked to us for a couple hours! Overall, great bar and great company. We will definitely make time to come back. I recommend this bar out of any bar here in Terrell.

The place was nice & quaint. However the drinks were reasonably priced, but i got a glass of Crown neat with a water chaser. I got this tiny shot in a glass for - $6.00 & it wasnt worth it! Also 10 minutes after the barmaid gave me the drink , she came over ?& asked would i like to get another round before i could sip the one i had!!! I dont like this type of getting customers to spend alot of money!!! Won t go there again

Big 0 for this bar they over charge customers and over serve alcohol. The new owner does not care about the safety of her customer and is rude also.. Be careful she knows police and judges. So if you leave drunk they dont care bc she has the county behind her. This bar is JOKE!!! She needs to closed down.....

Was there for the first time last weekend. While this is not a club it is a fun, chill bar with the nicest people you will ever meet! It is an older crowd which was fine with us! Bartender was outstanding and the karaoke was a blast! We plan on going back!

Had a really good time first time ever going small cozy great owner very nice Chiswell owns another bar in Dallas I forget the name Tammy was a bartender me and another friend went in and they made us feel very welcome if you are a smoker they have an outdoor patio but it is totally enclosed with a fire pit going you do not get cold dont know what else to tell you I will be back

A friend and I were looking for an open bar late Monday night to stop into and grab a quick drink and we were pleasantly surprised we found this place! We actually caught the owner there and sat and talked with her for a while, very neat lady! The bartender was awesome as well, friendly and drinks were on point! Chigger is one hell of a bartender shes a fun person and they always have some form of live music on weekends. They serve mixed drinks beer wine. Just off of Moore Street in Terrell just before the tracks. If you go in tell chigger Bill said hi For those that like my review of Sully in the Savages at the side street bar. On November 3rd 2018 Sally and his new band will be playing at the side street bar. Its all new and knowing Sully it will be one of lively band. So if you like this review why dont you go to the side street on the 3rd and see Sully and tell him bill sent you I bet you have a great To all the readers of my reviews. The side street bar has been bought out and has a new owner. She is not much on the way of fun. She owns several locations in Dallas called The liquid zoo. and shes trying to run the side street bar like its a Dallas nightclub for gays. I have friends that are gay and like the side street like it was just a nice place to hang out and listen to music and have a few drinks. and maybe step out back for a safety meeting with no problems. The new owner charges $10 for a long neck $5 for a draft beer and doesnt like safety meetings in fact last weeks open mic night she called the cops on him for having a safety meeting outside. Apparently the owner is a snitch and cant be trusted. so I suggest if youre looking to have a good time on a Tuesday evening dont go to the side street. The open mic night has been moved to The swinging door. The swinging door promises to Dollar longnecks 50 cent drafts and they will open the pool tables so you dont have to pay to play pool while listening to the music. all the gang that come in the play their music and sing and have a good time will be now at The swinging door starting tonight. I will be going tonight to listen to the music and review The swinging door Sally and some of the 5o ones will probably be there along with members of Sully new band. Jericho Hayes they played on the 3rd of November at the side Street. Shelly and the gang will never ever be back at the side street bar so if you happen to like his music check him out down at the swinging door tonight. Sincerely felonious bill try it out

The Side Street had new Management. Newly remodeled, great drink prices, everyone is welcome , 5 new big screen TVs, we play the football games and racing also. Sunday and Monday draft specials. Nice place for a private bar. Not too loud, opens in the middle of the afternoon before people get off from their regular day jobs. I forgot the name of the bar tender who served me and a couple of other guys last night, but he had quite a few good stories to keep us entertained for a little bit. And the drinks were reasonably priced too (that being a first for me). Definitely plan on going back another day for another tab. Only con about the place is that it is cash only, but thankfully they do have an ATM in the back.
