DISHONEST BARTENDERS!!! DO NOT run a tab on a CC at this bar... you will be buying drinks for strangers if you do.... The Ladies here have a history of putting cash in the tip jar from those that pay cash for drinks and adding the drinks purchased to someone else s tab on a CC... Numerous people have said they have had this issue at this bar... They also charge a 10-15 cover charge for mediocre bands... Better Options in the Stockyards to buy drinks and have a good time without getting ripped off!

We went to this bar because their website advertised line dancing and we expected some good line dancing. The music was outdated and there was only one line dance the 4 hours that we were there. The rest of the time the dance floor was consumed with 2-step dancers. When we tried to line dance we were pushed out of the way. We also had to pay a $15 cover which was disappointing when we expected to have at least a few line dances.

This place was great . The service staff was incredible! very inviting! I enjoyed the band that played last weekend as they cover for Randy Rogers. I mean great band choices here. All the toilets in the womens restroom stopped working however, the staff was so kind to re-route everyone to accommodate the occurrence. When the band paused for break, the DJ played great tunes, everyone. I mean, everyone loved to hoop, holler and dance too. Lots of cowboys here ladies! I met so many new friends too and enjoyed a great evening with great people!

We travel up from the Austin area several times a year to dance in the Fort Worth area. Our first stop is usually Rodeo Exchange. There is always a number of good dancers and they have the right music for Triple Two Step or the Fort Worth Shuffle. We really enjoyed the band, Keith Mitchell Band, this visit.

Best place to dance to current country music in the Stockyards. Also a great place to people watch. The crowd is more mature than some of the bars that cater to Gen Y, but not as old as the crowd that goes to Longhorn. REx gets packed on the weekends and the dance floor could be a little bigger. It gets crowded on the dance floor and it can be difficult to dance with all the twirlers and freestylers on the floor. The regulars are a hoot also and you can easily tell who they are. Still, a great time and you can easily make some new friends. Well be back!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere! It caters to those over 35 -at least on this particular Thursday. Niles City Band played that night and I really liked them- good quality sound, easy to dance to. Only con is the size of the dance floor, which is a square and seems to cater more to line dancing than two step, progressive three, or WCS.

Man! The memories. Used to go here in 97-99 about once a month, from Oklahoma. It was such a great place. It was one of my 2 favorite bars. We do a regular 2 step in Oklahoma, I learned the Texas 2 step here. Glad to see it s still here and ppl still like it. Good times and great memories.

A very popular place with the locals! Its a 40 something year old and up crowd. Lots of beautiful people and a very good LIVE band. The dance floor is a decent size. There are 3.5 bars within and this place gets very crowded on the weekends! The cover charge is $10 and its well worth a visit! However if you are a swing dancer this is the place for you. The dance floor gets way too crowded and people here seem only to know how to dance forward and backward. The fancy stuff is not demonstrated on this floor.

Absolutely enjoy the fact that 99% of the time its all REAL country music instead of that Hick Hop stuff that seems to be popular these days.
