Wonderful service, great atmosphere, great location, they do have a parking lot and if theres no parking theres parking on the neighborhood streets or on magnolia. This is a very walkable area. Tonight I got the to me play with bacon Vernons and fatty brisket with double collard greens is the side. Everything was absolutely delicious and I look forward to returning as usual!

This place was incredible. Usually BBQ joints that have 2,000+ reviews don t live up to the hype. Not Heim. I ordered the 3 meat platter (Brisket, Bacon ends and Ribs). Unfortunately, they were out of ribs. Subbed for the pulled pork. Bacon ends were life changing. Sweet, smokey and just the right amount of fat. The brisket was killer, too. Melt in your mouth good. Pulled pork was ok, but I m not a huge fan of PP to begin with. Beans and Slaw were standard but still really good.

Outstanding BBQ I had the 3 meat combo with Burnt Ends, Brisket, and Ribs with Slaw and Potato Salad sides. This food is out of this world. The burt ends where moist and juicy. The Brisket was juicy and cooked to perfection. The Ribs fall off the bone deliciousness. My number 1 BBQ in Ft. Worth now.

We went with a group of friends for happy hour which was awesome! They had a great variety and the restaurant is located in a great part of Fort Worth where you can walk around to several restaurants and venues. One thing that was a bit off was they have a meat sampler platter on the menu but because they ran out of ribs they weren t offering it. Personally I feel like they should have just substituted it with something else. However, what we did eat was delicious and the bartender making the margaritas was awesome!

They were out of everything good on the menu. No ribs, no bacon ends which was what I went for and at least 5 other items on the menu were out. What I settled for was the turkey. It was a pitiful plate. The turkey was dry, it was mostly leathery dry end pieces . The potato salad was barely average. For the prices on the food versus what you get on the plate horribly over priced. Parking was atrocious. Dont waste your time or money.

After the rave reviews, I was excited to try this barbecue joint. Unfortunately my expectations were too high. The brisket was just OK, no real flavor. Certainly nothing special. The ribs actually had some flavor and I would recommend that over the brisket. The hatch green chili mac & cheese is ok. Go with something else. The star of the meal was the potato salad. It was excellent, but I was there for good quality barbecue. It was no better than Rudy s and cost more. Save a buck and go elsewhere. However be sure to pick up some of that potato salad to go!

Fantastic TX barbecue. Its not the best Ive had but still delicious. Particularly surprised by the Green Chili Mac n Cheese, Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, Onion Rings, and Turkey Sandwich. Brisket had a great flavor / seasoning. I wasnt a fan of the cole slaw it was huge chunks of red cabbage with not alot of flavor or sauce to it. Fries were hot and crisp with a good seasoning. Sausage had a good flavor and smoke to it. Sauces werent my type as I prefer the kc style sauces sweet and thicker.

The brisket melts in your mouth, you don t need bbq sauce. The ribs were meaty and basically fell off the bone. But the BEST thing I had were the Bacon Burnt Ends. Those are pure MEAT CANDY! If you love BBQ, then Heim should be on your list of places to try. FYI: Parking is mainly in the back.

The ribs here are the best!! I have tried many places but nothing compares. Service is always great. There is a reason they have great reviews. Cooked to perfection, beautiful restaurant and cozy atmosphere. It s my go to place since moving to FT Worth. I get the side salad also and always fresh lettuce and home made delicious ranch. Dr pepper is crisp and on point. Happy customer! I definitely recommend to anyone looking for great barbecue. I would give this place a million stars if I could. We ve tried everything on the menu at least once and it s all amazing. The staff is always so friendly and quick. The restrooms are super clean. They do have a full bar as well with beer and liquor. And for anyone who is into sports there is a tv by the bar as well. The restaurant is very open and accommodating for seating. The only thing I can say negative is the parking is a little tight fit in the back when it s super busy. My parents always ask us to take them here when they come in from Louisiana. My dad was recently diagnosed with cancer so no trips anytime soon for him to Heim but they offer shipping on their bbq which is actually amazing in itself and affordable! My shipment got to him within 48 hours all sealed with simple instructions for the thawing process and reheating. Definitely the best bbq in Fort Worth hands down!

Really outstanding. Bacon bits are a must try. Brisket was melt in your mouth. I usually skip getting chicken at bbq joints because usually it seems they get over cooked and too dry for my taste but my husband got it on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised by how moist and well seasoned it was. Another plus was their pickled jalapeño which is made in house I m assuming and they were delicious. The only down side was we weren t too excited about the sides, we got the green chile mac and cheese and the twice baked potato salad and they were just okay. Definitely try this place if you re in the area

Cons: brisket was dry. Semi pricy for meat alone (however its bbq so quality is going to be $) but the meals were a good deal. Personally the twice baked potatoe salad was too busy for me but my best friend and my mom loved it. So if you like yours simple, go with something else. Pro: the sauce... man oh man it was delicious, im definitely team honey and NOT team vinegar but to each their own. Their sauce is honey based with light chili flakes. Its sweet with a lil kick (not much). And the burnt ends! We went back and ordered 1.5lbs to go to bring back home for everyone to try. The tea is also perfectly sweet. Lastly the banana pudding is THICCC so if your lactose intolerant dont do it, Im sure theres lots of heavy shipping cream. For the rest of us, order 2. Take one to go Orher notes: Our Mac personally had some under done noodles but that couldve just been the batch we had. Plenty of diverse seating. Booths, chairs, stools etc.. They even sell the rub and the sauce if you want to make it yourself at home! Parking is in the back so if you have any one who is handicap or cannot walk far, drop them off at the front (off a main street) and drive around to park out back. There is a exit only door out back that perfectly leads to the parking. Parking: Small parking lot. If you go at peek times (afternoons mon-fri, or the weekends) you will most likely have to park on the street and walk a bit.

This is my go to spot for Fort Worth Barbecue. Went today, and noticed a huge difference in the recipes. My chopped brisket was bland, fries appeared to be precut frozen fries not like the original, and even the small details like the sauce and bread tasted different. What happened? Ive always known Heim to be great tasting barbecue but something changed and not for the better. Its edging close on fast food barbecue dare I say it might already be there.

With great power comes great responsibility. Heim bbq has continued to grow but at the cost of loosing quality in their food. The onions rings were sub par nothing to talk about besides being big. There are so many awesome sides! The hatch green Chile Mac and cheese and twice baked potato salad are AWESOME! Also, this is the only Texas BBQ place Ive been to where they had burnt ends, and if you go and DONT get the burnt ends, youve definitely made a mistake! They are sweet, slightly crispy, and the fat is cooked perfectly! The brisket wasnt quite as moist as I hoped, but it was well seasoned, and the potato skins were AMAZING! I tried a friends onion rings, and they were probably the best onion rings Ive ever had! The batter to onion ratio was perfect, and they were huge!

It s pretty heartbreaking to post this review as I ve been a frequent customer since March 2020 and Heim has always been my first stop after being out of town. From what I can tell, Heim has suffered the typical UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT treatment. I have been to Heim 5 times since the announcement of new management and each time there s been a noticeable change in quality. For context, my order for the last 4 years has always been a 2 meat plate with fatty sliced brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, double mac n cheese, and ghost pepper hot sauce on the side. It started pretty minor with them no longer supplying a range of Yellow Bird hot sauces, sad for me but understandably probably an unnecessary and underutilized expense for the business. From there, it has mostly been a reduction in quality of the food. My latest trip will likely have been my last. I was there with my family and dog, so we sat outside as we have many times before. The tables were dirtied with bird poop, and when the food came we were literally swarmed with flies. For the food, I was given completely lean, dry brisket. The mac n cheese (have to specify green chile as they have a plain option now) was bland and dry. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was still great, but I fear this is an end of an era for me as the last few visits have just been disappointments. I hope things turn back around, but I ll be taking a sad break for a while.

We ordered carryout. I ordered Two Meats, with lean sliced brisket, turkey, cole slaw, and pinto beans. The brisket was amazing. I loved the turkey and pinto beans. The cole slaw could use a little more flavor. My family ordered the mac n cheese, and I had a bite - yum! My order has lasted me two meals, and I have at least one meal left; the cost for my order was approximately $23.00.

Disappointed they do not honor their happy hour ads! I enjoy Heims and have always had a good experience until now. I invited several friends who had never been there to join me for happy hour on Friday. They advertise HH until 5:30 however, when we asked to order their happy hour food at 5:23, we were told their registers are set ahead 7 minutes and they couldn t honor the price! What? We mentioned it to the manager and he said he couldn t override it!? Really? He did offer us a coupon for something free with a purchase to be used on our next visit. That s awful customer service. I t was disappointing to say the least.

I first want to start off with Angel he was so kind and friendly he was actually very pleasant and initiated conversation thats exactly how you have great customer service he was actually speaking with a coworker and stopped and engaged with his audience even though he wasnt the one that helped me he saw me just standing there and started speaking with me and I definitely appreciate that he was very knowledgeable of the company thank you Angel for helping me it really was a great experience and my pleasure meeting you and speaking with you.Okay Okay Ik you wonder why I gave five stars but the food two stars let me explain the food was OLD..and I was not happy about it I WORK AT JPS and had my mouth do HEAR Me.. to the fact that I spent $36 however the greens were AMAZING if they put just a little MEAT WHEWWW JS ITS GIVING PRETTY MUCH BIG MAMA Not a really Big Fan of the macaroni and cheese however if you add some salt pepper and some butter its giving Big Mama vibes..its just missing a little bit of seasoning and that To The Macaroni and Cheese and it will be just it is not running it has the right consistency to what my people know as a baked macaroni and cheese its really good with some salt and pepper and Butter I added later The Burnt Ends Were Suppppper Greasy and Hard Im very salty I was very disappointed with the burnt ends all together I order the three ribs which were $6.50 which I feel like is a terrific terrific price the flavor was there it was good it wasnt fresh but I still give it five stars because you can tell that theyre on to something I definitely recommend this place and even though it wasnt my best experience I will definitely definitely be going back Parking: Aross the street you can pay with a barcode

The cost was over $60.00 for 2 chopped beef sandwiches 3 ribs, 2 beans and 2 potato salads. First only received 1 potato salad and 1 bean. Second the sandwich s were not good couldn t eat. Gave a small amount in our dog s food. Within minutes, he was sick. No more Hines BBQ for us.

Overall, great place and good food! I am not a BBQ specialist, but I brought family from Hawaii who wanted good Texas BBQ. This is my first time here. The Big Daddy - disappointing. Not the value, meat, or taste for the price. Mine was pretty much charred fat with little meat. However, it did slide off the bone, Texas style with ease. Strengths- the Brisket, pork ribs, loaded Mac & Cheese, Turkey sandwich, Potato Salad, Banana pudding are true marks of Texas and should not be missed.

Dear Heim BBQ, For many years I have seen your brand name all over. I was excited when our couples group date night restaurant of choice was Heim in Burleson. The staff was kind enough and the place was clean, and a gentlemen checked on us a few times. These were good things. On the other I have to admit I was not pleased with the food nor the serving sizes. I ordered bacon burnt ends plate. To my amazement only 3 one inch like cubes was the protein portion of the plate. The two sides of fries and salad - tastes were fine. My issue with the sides - fries not even topped off along sides of the tiny boat and the salad was small, even as a side salad. I m used to places having different styles and tastes, but the taste of the bacon was not palatable at points. The fatty portion almost had a bitter taste. Please consider adjusting side it sizes or prices and ensuring meats are fully cooked and are good selections of meat. First time/last time customer,

This is self serve place so cant rate the service. The food was cold greasy and unbeatable. Brisket should be cooked with fat but then when cut take some away. Mine was served all fat not much beef $15 2 slices. then pork ribs 3 small ribs $15 coleslaw $5. Total $38 for a small unbeatable lunch served with no pickles or onions . All I could taste was salty cold greasy . Hard no for me.
