Solid service from nice people who own and operate it. They know my family by name and treat us very well. The food is always fresh and delicious with good portion sizes as I always over order. Update: I have eaten here again for the 100th or so time in my 14 years of living in the area. The owner is so nice, the food is fresh, and we always leave happier.

The food was terrible and felt stale or out of date. The workers themselves seemed inattentive and unwilling to do their jobs, with most being on their phones despite multiple customers waiting to be served, and only maybe two people actually doing their jobs and staying on point. The manager herself made my family very uncomfortable as we heard her talking about some rather inappropriate topics to bring to the workplace, especially while talking to (from I could tell) a high school child. In general, the restaurant had food which was unappealing, the servers were inattentive and paying more attention to their phones rather than their work, and the atmosphere was completely ruined as the manager herself was unable to keep her personal life from a working environment. Eating at this establishment has made me consider never eating at any Edohana restaurant.

I ordered the sukiyaki and I was thoroughly disappointed. Although the service was good, the sukiyaki was extremely small and honestly not very good. The service was good, the servers came by quite often to check up on us and see how we were doing, however the good service could not make up for the bad food. The atmosphere was mediocre at best, honestly would not recommend anyone to come here for the food, only for the service.

Food was good but the service was poor. The young lady that was our waitress was very inattentive. She didn t fill up our drinks not once and only said the necessary words to get our order in, cleaned up and the check. She seemed like she was more concerned with the next opportunity to chat with her male coworker who was also about her age. He was doing a great job with his tables though. There was a noticeable difference in the service we got and the service his tables got.

We recently moved to the area and have been actively looking for a new sushi place for us and decided to give this place a try. It started off good, got our order in fairly quickly, came to the table in a decent time, and the sushi was actually quite good. Then it comes time for the bill. We finished eating and waited patiently on our bill, and then it hit the 20-25 minute mark of waiting and got the attention of the waitress and asked for our bill. She went to grab it and I m assuming she forgot, she went to the register and everything but never came back with the bill. Eventually we had to go up to the host stand to tell them we needed to pay the bill and we finally were able to pay and leave. We wanted to like the place, but unfortunately this left a sour taste in our mouths and won t be back.

Portions for shashimi and sushi were small. Waiter kept forgetting things. Shrimp Fried rice at $12 had hardly any shrimp! Not good. Will not return. It used to be better. We had the boat before and thought it was worth it, but that also was smaller. This is going downhill.

Great experience! The sushi boat for 2 was very filling and delicious! The staff were very helpful and nice. Update 8/22/2020: We went to dinner with the family (7 adults, 2 kids, 2 toddlers) to celebrate mine and my daughter s birthday. I wanted to give a huge shout out to the wonderful people here! We were there from 5-6:30pm. The toddlers were a tad cranky and (as any parent knows, it can be a little embarrassing!) we didn t feel as though we were disrupting anything! It was a great feeling to have. As usual, the food was wonderful! I still recommend the boat for 2 and the French Kiss sushi platter is THE BEST for those that love a kick of spice! This was our fourth time coming (first with the toddlers) and will always make our way from Cross Roads Tx to Flower Mound if we ever want a nice meal of sushi! Thank you again!

Great food, great staff. FANTASTIC customer service by the 3 girls that were there. They tagged teamed all the tables to make sure no one was waiting to get drinks, etc. awesome food and very well priced. New favorite little sushi place. I was hungry and ordered 3 different sushi rolls and enjoyed all 3. They were very kid friendly too. I enjoyed the service most of all as they were very attentive. We go there at 9:30, they say theyre open until 10 and we politely asked if they were still open for service, they say of course, and we sat down, but we got a poor service, our waitress didnt know the menu, and got something different than we ordered. There was one roll that was really good tho. As soon as we got our food served they turned off the sushi bar lights. They were anxious to get us out of there and we couldnt even finish our food because the waitress brought us the check and kept asking if she could take the plates away...

Didnt even realize this place existed; found it by accident. Quiet place with not a huge crowd inside. One of those places where everyone says hello as you walk in. Salmon Sashimi was fresh, good portion. Decent selection of rolls and miso was actually tasty and warm, unlike other places. Ive got to say, this place by far, has been one of my favorite sushi joints in DFW. Ive tried many other sushi restaurants and always end up back at Edohana in Flower Mound. Whenever my family and I crave sushi/sashimi, this is the first place on our list. Customer service is great here. Although on weekends, they tend to get pretty busy and packed, Kimmy (manager), Yona (server), Yohan and ahjushee (sushi chefs) still manages to give me the most warming and welcoming greeting with a smile! From the second I walk in, I feel like Im right at home. The music isnt loud whatsoever; more subtle and soft. The restaurant isnt too right nor is it too dark -- has a classy atmosphere to it. As far as food, each time I come here I get a few sushi/rolls/sashimi. HOWEVER, no matter how full I am, I ALWAYS make sure I order the Green Hulk Roll. Im not sure if this is listed on their menu because they seems to constantly create new rolls, but this is my FAVORITE roll. I have to have it each time I dine at Edohana. If you love avocados and hate cream cheese, this is SOOOO good! ITS ORGASMIC! Another thing I love about this place is the fact that the chefs, servers, and Kimmy are all willing to make your dining experience pleasant. All the staff seem to know their rolls which is great! Especially when you have no idea what you want and can only list the things you HATE and they can suggest different rolls without having to refer back to their menus. The chefs are even willing to create something out of nowhere, just to ensure you enjoy your rolls! I once brought my best friend to eat here and she cannot eat raw fish because of the texture. Shes more of a picky eater than I am and the chefs here were able to mash together a roll WITH raw fish so she can try it out without being grossed out. Surprisingly, she enjoyed every bite! She too, orders that one roll she fell in love with, each time we dine here! We have become regulars and the staff knows our names which is such an awesome feeling, being greeted by name, when walking into a restaurant! I give Edohana 5+++++ stars if it were possible! YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!! TRY THE GREEN HULK ROLL!!! Youll become an addicted fan like myself! Trust me! :D

Id dare say Im a regular here. Its what Id call my sushi restaurant. Theres a few better in DFW, but to echo another commenter this is in the top 5 in DFW (including the likes of blue fish and Tei-An). Of all the good sushi places here, it certainly has the best ambiance hands down. That being said, lets get down to the great: 1. The mackerel is 90% awesome, with 10% pretty damn good. 2. The tuna is never, ever soapy 3. The octopus is tender 4. The eel is not oversauced 5. The chefs rolls are delightful 6. The fish is always high quality 7. You get the idea Based on a few other reviews of this location, Ill stress some things about this restaurant: 1. If you like the small fast-food sushi chains of the same name, dont eat here 2. If you dont like actual nigiri, this isnt the place for you 3. If you think mayonnaise is the end-all topping for sushi and your primary concern is price, might I recommend Sushi Yaa up the street? I love this restaurant. Ive had good times, Ive had great times, Ive had not so good times as well. Thats the breaks with a real family-owned sushi place, if you go on the last night before the fish delivery you get old fish, they can still work wonders with it. I cant recommend it enough; love the staff, love the atmosphere, love the food.

Overpriced. Example $6.25 for spicy tuna. And bland compared to other sushi places Ive been. As a matter of fact, their sister store in Las Colinas has the same item for $4.50 and it even tastes better. I also got a salmon avocado roll and the the amount of fish and salmon was a total joke. 1/4 in running through the middle. What a bunch of thieves. Most sushi is a ripoff, but I took enough offense this time to write a review.
