Took my brother to dinner here for his birthday. Everything was great. Nice staff, tasty food, and the games were functional, and reasonably priced. Played a couple rounds of air hockey, pool & skiball. Kid-friendliness: My 7 & 9yo loved the food and quarter games.

From the time I called to make reservations to the time we left this restaurant, we had amazing costumer service! The manager made sure our football game was on and sat us where we would have the best view. Our waiter Shawn was very attentive and insured our all our orders were correct. He did great with our huge party! Food and drinks were amazing too!! We are so happy Flower Mound has such a fun place for families

Staff is great, beer selection is decent, and its a great place to come hangout and watch sports. Why they do live music inside here is beyond me. We stopped by for drinks, and as soon as the band queued up we couldnt leave fast enough. Too loud, bad acoustics. Could have at least opened the garage doors to lessen to closed in effect. We will go back, but will avoid live music nights. Parking: Easy parking with the garage. if you want the lower level, youll need to drive past it and take a left

Lack of management-2nd visit within a month during some awesome Riverwalk public events. They had one bartender for literally hundreds of potential customers. If a General Manager doesn t know how to staff if for high volume events (profit opportunities) .these events are not a surprise and should be an opportunity to shine to public for future business

We visited Scout for the first time today and well be heading there again soon. Our server Kaylee was great and took good care of us. The food was very good and the espresso martini was tasty. Looking forward to coming back one of the nights they have live entertainment. The pups approved of the patio too.

Great location but... Riverwalk has been such a disappointment. This has been touted for so long. It was a beautiful night and our server was not bad at all, but he warned us up front they were short staffed, probably far worse than even we imagined. Food took far too long to come out and the quality was fair at best. Fish & chips were a major disappointment. Ive fed my kids better out of the freezer. Chicken was dry. Sat outside because it was a beautiful night, but frankly the bar was too freaking loud. When all is said and done, this is a severely misused asset. FWIW, these restaurants arent worth coming to despite what should be a great place.

This is such a beautiful place to hang at. Wow! The Riverwalk is beautiful, the food is top notch. We had Landon as a bartender and he made a PERFECT old fashioned. The bands here are great. One night they had an 80 s tribute and another night was a half dueling piano show. Order the scooby snacks or the Meatloaf Melt Sandwich.

What a let down! 1st 3 beers I ordered were out, when I finally settled on a DosX draft it tasted like the keg had been sitting in the sun for a week, so I ended up with a Bottle beer that was mildly cool, not cold. We started off with Loaded Cheese Fries for $14. For that price I would expect you cut and season your own fries and not use the frozen fries with canned cheese sauce. My daughter and I both ordered $23 fish and chips. I substituted fries for German Potato Salad. What we got for $23, 3 tiny, finger-sized, frozen fish-sticks. The potato-salad was bland and tasteless. At best this was a $10 meal, and I m not sure I would pay that for how bad the food was. My wife ordered the bison patty melt. Again a frozen meat patty covered in bbq sauce. She elected for the Brussels sprouts, which look great, but were so drenched in so much vinegar we couldn t eat them. In the end, this place has potential, but they need to change a lot. Save your money and time and go somewhere else

Beautiful setting -- we sat on the patio under some shade and enjoyed the river while we sipped some cocktails. Families enjoyed playing air hockey and foosball, and the bar inside had a good selection. We didnt eat this time, but well be back!

Our server was Rashan. He said the bartender forgot to make my drink (brought drink 10 to 15 mins later), but we literally saw the bartender make my drink at least 10 to 15 mins before the drink was delivered to the table. I used to be a bartender and know that drinks should be delivered within 2 mins after being made. The worst part was there weren t even many other customers there. Rashan also did not apologize for forgetting to take off a drink on the bill that we didn t order due to lack of ingredients to make the drink. He did take the drink off the bill, but no apology was given. Margherita flatbread was okay, but it seems they really shine with their burgers. They ran out of milk and Turkey, so some items we initially wanted to order were not available. As I said earlier, I have worked in the food industry as a bartender and thus know how these issues could have easily been fixed. I hope this was just an off night but was disappointed as this was our first time and now likely our last time coming to Scout.

Food and drinks are great! Games take coins. Not many games. All take 50 cents to $1. Its worth trying out once but the kids will get really bored really quickly. If you want to entertain kids go to Corkys or Freeplay. If youre wanting to catch a game and drinks with adult friends Scout is good. We took our kids, and probably wont be back. Not because it was a bad experience but just didnt offer an experience to bring us back.

Training opportunity here. This was my second visit here and first under the new management company. It was 9/1, about 5pm. Bartender had 0 customer service skills. Wasn t friendly or welcoming at all. It was very clear he was having a bad day and he confirmed it later with the server. I asked for an Old Fashioned. I got it and the flavor was great. But no orange peel or cherry. I did ask for a cherry. He dig out the marichino cherries and gave me one after digging his hand on the jar. Which I don t care about that; I m the least germaphobe but that might be an issue for others. The manager or someone helpful just happened to see me take a photo. He inquired about the cherry and ended up going next door where they also manage and grab some real cherries. However; it s now been over 10 minutes and no one asked me if I wanted to order food. I went there specifically for dinner. Fast forward, I drank my drink over a 45 minute time period and never was once asked if I wanted to order food. Server asked if bartender was ok. He replied no. I giggled because I knew he wasnt ok. And the server obviously picked up on it enough to ask him too. I went next door, where I know it s the same entity, but the customer service was so much better and I got to eat!!

Stood at the bar for almost 30 minutes. I asked if the kitchen was open the guy said yes. I looked at the menu and he never spoke to me again. He talked to people on the right and the two girls to the left of me. He even asked them if they wanted food after I asked and still never came back to me. So Im standing there half an hour no drink and no food and this guy couldnt ask me if I wanted anything while I was making eye contact with him. Saved me $40 plus tio though so I guess thank you. Horrible service and he looked like he didnt want to be there. Zero positive to say about the place. I wont be back

2 stars because thats how many beers my buddy and I got and left. We arrived and sat down and were approached by the waitress. Ordered our beers and they arrived promptly, things were going well at this point and where it ended. We stated to the waitress we would like to order food and she disappeared. We waited about 20 minutes and then she came back by and asked if we would like another beer, instead we left. In that 20 minutes, she spent some time bussing tables, which I get, but then about another 10min talking to someone at the bar. Was almost $12 for 2 Miller Lites, which for a pint, is a bit steep for the area.

SCOUT on Riverwalk in Flower Mound served as the host location for Flower Mound High School s first graduating class (2002), 20 year reunion. The food was excellent. The drinks were refreshing. They only dedicated one server for our group, and Shawn did an excellent job trying to keep up with the group.

My husband and I have been here a few before and this is the second time we had bad service. We walked in and sat at the bar, two seats directly across from the beer taps. There were two male bartenders who turned around and looked at us but didn t say anything. They went and served 3rd drinks to others at the bar but still didn t say acknowledge us. We waited about 20 minutes without being acknowledged as they walked past about 4 times, made awkward eye contact and didn t say a word. They looked as if they were annoyed we sat down. It wasn t so much the wait time than it was we weren t acknowledged at all and given dirty looks. If they were busy I understand but if you walk past multiple times acknowledge your customers.

This place is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere and drink selection with a full bar. The location is a great, right on the river walk. Definitely a good spot to bring friends and family to hangout. There is indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is nice. There are also arcade games for your kids/inner child. The manager Justin was very helpful and friendly.

Fun place and good food and drinks!! As a bar this is good but as a restaurant music is too loud. Heard the same complaint from many Gen X people and younger. Lowered my rating from 5 to 3 at grand opening. Feel like nobody cares if we are satisfied or not. The bartender admitted after my daughter couldn t drink their DR Pepper that their sodas are off brand sodas like you d buy at a bulk grocery store.

Terrible terrible experience. Went in on a Tuesday night around 7. Sat down inside and waited 30 min. Not 1 person came to the table to even say hello or acknowledge we were there. Twice we went and asked a staff person to come to the table and twice were told 5 min. 15 min goes by and still no one came. The people around us had been waiting for their food for an hour. I understand if you are short staffed but at least come by the table and acknowledge your guests. I have been here once before and had a decent experience although still slow service. Very sad as it seems like a fun place.

No change to play games (the games that werent out of order, that is.) Service is extremely slow. Food is gross and overpriced (chips appetizer was weird and greasy while margherita flatbread tasted like it had Ragú pizza sauce) I really REALLY want this place to be successful, but this is my 3rd visit and everytime it had gotten worse. It needs new management. It needs new bartenders. It needs new waiters. It needs new chefs. It needs new cooks. It needs a new vendor for their games. If these things arent fixed immediately, they will definitely go out of business.

Not impressed. Wife & I took 3 grandkids, 2 kids got flatbread pizzas, both were kind of chewy & the sauce had big pieces of onion. 3rd got chicken strips ( the regular fries were bland). I got the bison patty melt, the bread was just toast, not grilled. The bison had good spices & waffle fries were good. Wife got fish & chips and thought them overpriced & bland. Not a great selection of draft beers, 1 dark on draft but it wasnt working. After eating tried arcade stuff, 1 claw machine worked but couldnt pick up anything (even a fuzzy ball on top of the pile). Other was jammed. Skee ball machines wouldnt work. B ball games were also out of order.

The portions of proteins were extremely small for the price. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. When the salad came out, I nearly turned to the server to mention the missing chicken, when I caught the glimpse of it on the side. My husband ordered the tuna, and when it came out, he had to order 3 more portions just to get 1 decent serving. Granted, he eats a lot, but seriously the 1st portion was probably 2 ounces of meat (and so was my chicken). Our friends ordered chicken strips and also had portions that were the size I give our 5-year old. Atmosphere was fun, the live band was talented, the flavors of the food was good. Just very, very small portions. We would go back again, but we wouldnt eat there.

Do not go here. The food is awful, the drinks way to expensive and the bartenders are inexperienced. The bar managers are atrocious, and failed with customer service. We had a party there that was responsible for about 70% of their revenue on a Saturday night. We were there for approximately 5-6 hours. The wait staff was friendly, but didn t have a clue of what was happening. It was a horrible place. Is cheesy, and looks like a chick e cheese for brown ups. They are charging double the amount of what others do for drinks, and they were garbage. Stray away from this place, you will be disappointed. They also overcharged my card and we re putting peoples drinks on it without my permission.

Overall I was disappointed with Scout. They were out of many things on the menu, so we had to settle for our second and third choices. Shortly after ordering, but before the food came out, I asked to switch from regular fries to sweet potato fries. I was told it was too late ?!? But that I could purchase a side of sweet potato fries if I wanted. It came across as poor service. The food was decent but very greasy and heavy. The atmosphere was really loud, but it is a sports bar, so I understand the noise. It took them about 30 minutes after we were done eating for our check to come. Overall a less than stellar experience. I ll look for some place else next time.

The place is new, so this review could be taken with a grain of salt, but I can still appreciate how clean it is, and I imagine they will be keeping it up well. All staff has been friendly and helpful on every visit. Ive enjoyed food, sodas, and pool on multiple occasions already and I can say Ive been very happy with the service and the quality of food. Great patio area, as well as a neat double bar/stage area for live music.

Not sure what this place is trying to be. Not really a gaming place. They have two video racing games, a pair of basketball hoop games, and an air hockey table. Sports bar maybe, but not a ton of different TVs viewable at one time. They have a stage at one end of the restaurant, but it is in front of their main TV screen which is really just 4 TVs with borders between them which is a little distracting. Food is ok. Service the same. Best thing about it is the view of the river walk.

It is a very interesting sports bar and restaurant next to the man made river. It is spacious both inside and outside. It has some games e.g. pool table, basketball,air hockey, bike. Staffs are friendly. Food is ok. We ordered Loaded Fried which is huge and Fried is not as crispy as I expected but in general it is a good snack with cold beer. Beef chili is tasty but overly greasy for me.

Great concept and even greater food, one of the chefs I believe his name is Justin suggest the bison meat loaf melt. OMG probably one of the best patty melts I ve ever head. I consider myself and patty melt connoisseur and this blew all the other ones out of the water. The staff was very friendly and Justin was serving us as well. They looked very short staffed which I m sure that s why because I ve never seen a chef serve a table before but he knocked it out the park. I ve been here 2 times so far and I can t wait for the 3rd time. I live right across the street so I m sure you will be seeing more of me can t wait to bring my husband.

Note: this was opening day. Staff was friendly, but the location was understaffed. I saw tables sat, receive no service and leave. Food was just ok. The Flatbread was basically cafeteria quality, but the Scouts Southwestern was good, but was served with bread that was colder than room temperature. Fish and chips were ok, but needed lemon which it didnt come with. Drinks were nothing special, and beer selection was just ok. The location is great and service when present was friendly. I hope they can dial it in, but was not that impressed with the food on this visit.

Had a mixed experience on our first visit to Scout. On the positive side our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food arrived quickly and was pretty good. Unfortunately shortly after ordering the fire alarm went off in the restaurant and was unbearably loud. We shifted our seats to outside picnic tables which werent too comfortable, but at least the noise was diminished somewhat. The alarm continued for approximately 20ish minutes as apparently no one in the restaurant knew how to turn it off. The draft beer selection was a little thin (maybe 6-7 choices, mostly generic). They did have some interesting canned beers (I tried a blue raspberry sour which was quite good). The atmosphere was more gaming oriented than restaurant oriented, although few were playing any games. It might be a funner place to visit with a big group. Despite the informal atmosphere, the prices were on the high side, with the two of us paying $66 before tip (included one mixed drink, two canned beers, two entrees, but no sides and no dessert). May give it another chance to try the gaming rather than just a meal, and hopefully the fire alarm will stay off!

Server Naomi is awesome! Shes so sweet and attentive. We loved all our food. We were a party of 6 and were sat quickly in a comfortable booth. Everyone ordered something different and the only thing we didnt like was the flat bread pizza. The crust was doughy and it didnt have much flavor. But the loaded fries and stroganoff were phenomenal! Prices are pretty steep. Our disappointment came when we went to play some of their games. They have 11 machine games and 7 of them are out of service or dont have an out of order sign but stole about $5 worth of quarters from us and the air hockey will take your money and not work. My kids were super bummed out that the games mostly didnt work. This left them with 1 skeeball game, a motorcycle game, half of the air hockey table, and 1 of the 2 claw games. (There are still 2 pool tables and a Foosball table, but Foosball is also out of order). Id recommend for the food but not for the entertainment.

Extremely dis-appointed, Had blocked for a group of 10 at 6.15 pm on May 13 to celebrate a Birthday Party. We arranged two tables to get seated on our own. There was no one to take orders. We waited for 40 minutes. Reached out to the bartender and was told that they have only two waiters and we have to wait, even for getting water and order drinks. Had a very bad experience. While I understand that there might be few issues when a restaurant is opening at a new location, this proved to be a fiasco.

Came on their pre-opening! This was amazing food!! I had the bbq salmon and my husband had the stroganoff we ended with the pecan torte. Omg out of this world on everything. We WILL be back! Over an over! The staff is amazing. There were some small hiccups but the same with any new restaurant.pictured is my 1/2 eaten desert and my salmon. I dug in before I could picture everything
