Its a very nice place to eat. has been open ever since I was a kid they have been soooo yummy since then and now. Now that I am an adult I notice how great a lot of the menu items are.. the pizza is always hot so give it a min if u have alot of cheese other than that everything is fresh and perfect. the owner and the workers are very cool and great thing about this business. Prices have gone up but its cool. order everything how you like and they will do it for u. Parking: u will be ok Kid-friendliness: they love family

Ive been to NYPD many many times when I worked right down the street; Sometimes twice a week for lunch. I havent been on this side of town in a while, at least eleven years,and happened to end up here for lunch again today. I was relieved to find that the food was as delicious as it was years ago. Today; July 2024, I learned that NYPD has been around for 22 years! That is saying a bunch in my opinion. If you want fresh, great tasting , authentic New York food check out NYPD! Ill be back, check em out; well worth the drive.

You dont want to eat inside. Its filthy, you can smell what I think is a urinal cake throughout the restaurant, tables are never cleaned well. Service is okay, they arent warm but they arent rude either. Cheese slides right off the slice and becomes slop, plus prices have went up.

This is the 2nd meatball sub Ive had from here. The 1st one was awesome, plenty of sauce, perfectly toasted bread easy to eat. The 2nd meatball sub still tasted awesome but was rough to eat due to the top of the bread being overcooked and the bottom being done correctly. There was not enough sauce which added to the overcooked bread dilemmia. Will try again but hope the person who made the 1st on teaches the rest of the staff how to do the meatball sub like they did.

Really disappointed. I called and found out the online menu was completely out of date. When I asked, they didnt have any paper takeout menus either. The employee said I should take a picture of the menu. When I arrived, I saw the outside building had faded paint and looked abandoned. When I came in, the dining area floor was covered with debris, and the tables legs were balanced with gross folded napkins that had clearly been there for weeks. The place was totally empty on a Saturday night and felt lifeless. I walked to the front, and the 2 employees were each to the far sides of the kitchen in the back. They did not see me or acknowledge me. From the counter, I looked back and saw one of the dining room booths and a large hole in it. Finally, I shouted hello. I received my pizza and drove home hoping the pizza would at least be good. Sadly, it was lacking sauce and was made with cheap ingredients. I was not excited about it. The price was the only good thing about it, I was wondering why it was cheap... They did not offer me Parmesan cheese or red pepper.

23 years of 5-star joy ordering pizza and various sandwiches from NYPD, had always been the best sandwich shop in the mid-cities. But the last 3 orders my family has placed have upset us. Super dry sandwiches in every order since late 2023. Plain meatballs with cheese on bread is not what we expect from our favorite deli. Ugh. Sad to say this third strike may be our last.

I was genuinely surprised at how good the pizza here was. I stopped in for lunch as I was in the area and was looking for a spot to grab pizza by the slice. I saw the reviews for this spot and thought I d give it a chance. First impressions were nothing special, the building is old and the parking lot was tight and unmaintained. Walking into the building didn t offer anything to get excited about. Again, the spot is older, darkly lit and laid out awkwardly, but it was fairly clean and the smell of food cooking was quite delicious. I grabbed a couple slices of cheese pizza and all of the good reviews made sense. The crust has just the right amount of crispiness to it and the sauce and cheese they use made for a delicious slice. Now I just wish they weren t so far from where I live!!

We used to speak highly of this place. HIGHLY! Like this was the BEST pizza the area hands down. However, tonights pizza looks like a blob in a box. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The store also needs to be deep cleaned head-to-toe. Employees need to wear proper attire as I am sure that crocks without socks is NOT ACCEPTABLE by health code standards! Ive been here about a year ago with my wife and absolutely loved it. The sandwiches were so good that I wanted to try again since I was in the area. 1. I wasnt impressed with the young man at the counter. He had the same attitude that other younger adults have nowadays. The, I dont care, I dont want to be here attitude. But whatever, Im getting a to-go order. 2. The sandwich this time compared to last time was night and day. Last time, they loaded it up with meat and veggies, and it was delicious. This time, it looks like a truck stop sandwich. It was mainly just stale bread with hardly any meat or veggies on it. Overall, I was just disappointed. I was looking forward to this place all day long and it was a bust. So thats why I gave it a 3 star. The first time was easily 5 stars and this time is easily 1 star. So Ill meet them in the middle at 3 stars.

Theres a lot of little Italian joints like this peppered around Euless. I came here because of the high ratings, and I was not disappointed. The man who took my order I could tell was the owner or one of. Extremely professional. I had the Big Apple sub and it was absolutely delicious. Truly a perfect sandwich. This is definitely an authentic New York Italian eatery. I will be back to try the pizzas, but I LOVED the sub. Will be back. This place is rated too high for it to be as empty as it was. If youre looking for something reasonably priced, authentic, and delicious, look no further. The only thing I could say was the interior is pretty dated, but I think thats a good thing for an Italian place like this. It feels nostalgic and safe. Best sandwich your going to find in the surrounding 30 miles. 8 sub TEXAS sized... Ive got a big mouth and had trouble taking bites out of this beast. Went here for lunch. I usually get the pizza because it is pretty good, but wanted to try their subs. Order a Philly and when sandwich was brought to table we were told sorry have Philly meat on the stove its just not ready so I just sliced some roast beef and just walked off. He never came to the table to ask if we would be okay with that or asked if it was okay when he dropped it off. He just assumed we would be okay with them just changing our food. Sandwich itself was bland couldnt taste onions, peppers, or cheese just roast beef. I ate half and just trashed the rest. if you are going for pizza I would recommend but if you are going for subs or good service just skip this place.

This place has the vibe of a mom and pop shop from the boroughs. The attendees accommodated us in our pizza needs and was friendly. The pizza was so good and without that New York price :) Sopranos sub. The various deli meats balanced by the lettuce, tomato, mixed with their own NYPD dressing is a phenomenal sandwich. Cant remember the name of my hot sub but its their #1 everyone gets. It was super great. Restaurant is thoroughly dated and needs an entire steam cleaning but qualirt and taste trumps cleanliness right. Go to national chain if you want that. Cant wait to go back. Parking: Easy

Love this place the night time cook is very nice and friendly happy to have a conversation and make recommendations me and my girlfriend go here at least once a month as both our favorite foods is pizza you have to give it a try you wont regret it

This was better than actual New York Pizza. Granted, I dont think my experience with actual New York Pizza was necessarily a good one; too expensive, too thin, and overhyped, which is the opposite of the experience I had here at NYPD. The service was here was very courteous and the food was delivered quickly and fresh. We told the cashier that we were eating in but might need a box for later and he offered the genius idea of just serving the pizza in the box! Whoda thunk it! He also brought out napkins for us when we were sitting outside without him asking. And to get to the pizza, it was divine. Just doughy enough to have a good chew to it, but just firm enough to hold all of its contents without crumpling into a wet, cheesy, saucy, mess. Good was amazing. Had lunch with my dad here and I had never been before. Dad has been going for years and says that everything is good and never had anything that wasnt. Dad had a turkey sandwich and I had the rueban. Both were delicious and very well priced. The man behind the counter gave Excellent service and food was out to us in no time. Will definitely be returning for lunch when Im in the area. To sum it up, great food, and great prices, and great service.

I d love to share pictures, but we inhaled our lunch. The Italian beef (like a french dip) and Godfather sandwiches were phenomenal. My husband got a slice of pepperoni & sausage pizza which was really tasty, but Im planning to try a slice of cheese to see how it compares to the street pizza in Manhattan. As for the highlight of my meal the cannoli was magical. We will definitely be back!

2nd time there. First time got pizza, which was outstanding. As close to N.Y. pie as youll get around here. This time got subs. Split a meatball and a soprano with the wife. Meatball was quite good, but soprano was outstanding! Met up with friends who got subs and loved them too. Not the most updated, modern place by any stretch, but very nice guy behind counter...I think he was the owner. Will without a doubt be back.

Great food, friendly staff! The Italian stallion sub is one of our all time favorites, but can t go wrong with anything on the menu. Hey Tommy, that pastrami was good but woowee that spicy mustard, open all the sinuses. This New York deli saves me a 26 hour road trip!

Absolutely delicious. Some of the best pizza Ive had in a while. Next time Ill have to try the Stromboli. As a side note: $8 13 for a 12 pizza (depending on toppings) or $13 17 for an 18 pizza. I ordered a 12, but definitely recommend splitting an 18 two-ways if possible! Its more pizza and costs less per person. *Update: I come here frequently now. I have to say, the Stromboli is excellent. The price point is perfect for one person, even when you add onions, jalepenos, and extra cheese! It does often come out somewhat cold in the middle, however, but I think thats a result of the extra toppings. Its not inedibly cold, and I think Ill ask if they can cook mine a bit longer to see if that fixes it. The staff are phenomenally friendly.
