On Saturday, July 20th, around 11:00 A.M, I went to the Kroger Store on 19300 W Lake Houston in Humble Texas. While walking down the aisle, I slipped and fell directly on my knee. There was a spill of water on the floor that I did not see and there were no cones or signs signaling a spill. Now, I have seen these signs many times before, so had it been there, I would not have tripped and fell. After I fell, I just could not get up, the pain was too strong. I sat there for about 7 minutes writhing in pain before a worker close to the cash register finally asked me if I was ok, to which I replied No. I fell close to the cash register area so multiple people saw, its not like I fell at the back in a corner. Its a cold world we live in, a group of shoppers passed by me sitting on the floor and never said a word to me. After a while another worker and the Manager came by and asked me if I was ok. She offered me Tylenol and a wheelchair, I thanked her and said no. She took my name and number and said that somebody would call me the next day. Somebody called on Monday and left me a voicemail. I called back several times, but I only got his voicemail. I left a voicemail. I think it is very dishonest and uncaring to say you will call to check on me only to be playing phone tag. My knee is still sore but I thank God I did not break any bones.

I came into the bakery today with no cake for my son s birthday and left with the perfect cake! I had someone making me a cake for my son s birthday and they were not able to make it so this was all very last minute. We are going to Dig world so I wanted a construction themed cake. The lead baker at this Kroger exceeded my expectations! I showed her a picture of the cake I wanted and she made it happen in a matter of moments! We were able to transform a chocolate cake that was already made into just what I was looking for! Thank you again for saving the day!!

I go there more to the pharmacy then what I do for other things but in general I will have to say its a clean place everyone is real friendly real helpful if you need something specially the stock personnel, its a bit on the expensive side but its worth it do to being so clean the atmosphere is great and it appears that everything is fresh every time you go in there everything gets rotated as supposed to its a nice place a very nice place to the manager of that facility my hat off for you, grate job.

Tammi in floral department is a GODSENT! My son has a formal dance tonight and I, being new to all this, ignorantly thought I could just walk into a florist and walk out with a corsage. I had been to 2 other stores before stopping here and when she informed me they didnt have any corsages, I was defeated. I am not crafty at all but out of desperation I decided I would attempt to make this flower bracelet myself. I dont know if it was the look on my face or frantic indecisive way in which I was flitting through the floral department picking up random pieces but she approached me and asked if I was planning on making it myself. I said yes and she glanced at the random items I had collected with a look of pity. She asked me if I had several things at home in which to make this thing. Again, I must have looked close to panic because she gently asked if I had a hot glue gun. I didnt even know you needed a glue gun and no I dont own one! By this time I had the wrong materials, the wrong flowers, and lacked the tools. Lord knows what mess I would have created had she not intervened. She quietly led me back over to her counter and right before my eyes created a beautiful piece that perfectly matched my sons dates dress! Shiny and glittery this work of art far surpassed any sad little thing I would have put together and when I say I was grateful, thats an understatement. As she was pricing this work of art she asked if the price was too much, to which I replied absolutely not and as a matter of fact, Im also buying the remaining bouquets of lilys and babys breath you used to make this nifty little thing! I genuinely wish I could have tipped her but previous experience told me they arent allowed to accept tips so here I am doing the next best thing! I will be returning for all my floral and formal needs. I have boys who will need mums, corsages (so called flower bracelets), bouquets and lord knows what else and because of Tammis kindness and customer service, I will come to this Kroger floral department from now on....with more notice Thank you so much Tammi for saving the day and us the embarrassment of whatever pathetic attempt I would have made!

Everybody is so friendly at this Kroger from the pharmacy to the check outs and to the grocery pick up. I love making groceries here. I ve used the grocery pick up and Jasmine was really professional and sweet. She also put my groceries in my car quickly. I ll continue to shop here.

Kroger always has the best prices when it comes to overall groceries, certain things cannot be found ( more varieties of baby products and organic options ) but you can make due with what is offered, HEB always has more quality when it comes to produce but again Kroger is more affordable.

This Kroger staff is insane, except the meat dept. always friendly and helpful. I cant believe Henry is still employed. Im a 3x a week shopper. Hes confrontational, accusatory, rude, and today made a Black man go crazy to the point of shouting in the front of the store. The manager older lady with short grey hair, is always bee bopping around like she 16. Shes a grown adult making a fool of herself singing and dancing while also in a position of authority. The vegetable section is gross. Your commercials say how much time and effort you take on you produce, clearly wasnt this location. There is never anything stocked that looks appetizing. 2 weeks ago, zucchini was small, shriveled, pitted. Asked the guy there, thats all they had. I could go on and on. This place is just gross. I come for the good prices on cheese and milk and meat, definitely not for the store experience.

Just made a complaint to Loren Assistant Manager that I wanted to make a formal complaint in writing because I was verbally insulted by one of Krogers employees, and the unsanitary conditions that I observed her doing and he denied me that right! I called the Kroger corporate office and they said anytime a customer makes a complaint and request to document it. The manager is suppose to give you that document so you can make a formal complaint. Mr. Loren didnt care and thought I did not know that. Well now Kroger Corporate Office is investigating this issue and I cant wait until they look at their cameras. People like that need to be fired. Mr. Loren if you did your job you would not be investigated now. You bought this on yourself. Dont assume people dont know their rights and you need to take your job seriously Mr. Loren. The other situation that happened was recorded and I have pictures. So the lesson learned people know your rights and call corporate. There is more to this complaint but it is being currently investigated. Also to the guy in the sushi department today who did not even want to call a manager for me. I was told by Kroger corporate that just because you are a vendor if a customer needs and request a manager you should call a manager you are still associated with Kroger. I hope they terminate your employment. The black lady in the deli name Febi? When you are handling food you need to wear gloves and wash your hands when you are touching other things and then touch food that is dirty!!! People get sick that way! You have to be very clean when you handle food. You can not be rude to customers and touch there food with no gloves, then you want to argue when a customer has to ask you to put on your gloves. This all happened around 12noon today April 23,2022. The Manager Loren was call on the intercom twice by the gentlemen in hot foods, but he never came. I had to walk to customer service and Mr Loren refused me the right to fill out a complaint form!!!! I included pics of Febi (Not sure if that is her name) and Mr. Loren. I will also call the health department. You cant let your employees work with food and not follow proper health and food sanitary conditions. We are still in a Pandemic and you should always be clean around food regardless!!!!

I go here (Kroger Summerwood and Beltway 8 location) every week for the past two months as HEB Kingwood has been out of plantbased items and fruits. This morning I picked up my order which consists of all plantbased and this is the way they chose to give me my salad. This is unacceptable. I live in Atascocita so the gas to drive back would cost more than the replacement. I was told I would receive a credit on my next order or I could return to pick the item. The lady was friendly enough but my card should have been credited for the error on their behalf.

Prices are fine, store is clean, but the organization could be way better. Always have a hard time finding specific items in places that would make sense and having 2 checkout lanes open with one guy attending the self checkout lanes is beyond dumb in my humble opinion. Long lines and needing to consult the heavens with the sacrifice of a young virgin to find one item makes not a happy customer.

Lines are long, old woman went to cursing me out because I was in line on side not knowing people were in aisles waiting. The guy told me the line started back there but I could go in front of him she then proceeded to cussing and acting crazy. I ve called to talk to a supervisor about putting a line starting sign or something out but just stay on hold. All the cursing and yelling was unnecessary.

I love Kroger and this location isn t bad. They re actually extremely helpful considering the fact that they are understaffed. My review is mainly about the deli section. There are two men who work in the deli/sushi area. Both super helpful. One of them, though, talks way too much over the food especially to not be wearing a mask. I know they wear gloves when they prepare the food but it s not good practice for anyone to be constantly licking their finger and touching their nose/face area. It s the only reason I haven t purchased anything from that department.

Target, HEB, or any other grocery store in the area would be better. Not only is kroger overpriced, but they have horrible customer service. Their pickup department always messes up orders. Then they expect you to go inside to customer service just because THEY messed up. So not only do I have to go back to the store, but I have to go wait in line to return something just because they can t follow directions. The manager Mr.Lauren* doesn t manager anything. I think he might be mentally challenged because he doesn t understand when I explained my issues with the sore and their pickup department. NEVER going back!!! I would definitely not recommend coming here.

I have been a loyal customer to this store location for at least 25 years. The customer service in the deli has got to be the worst of any Kroger s. No hello be right with you. Worst Kroger I have ever shopped at. Time 3:30 pm on a Friday. They had 2 cashiers open and the self service line was backed up to the end of the store. I asked for a manager but was told they only had a supervisor. I spoke to the supervisor and stated my complaint about no cashiers. I also explained I came to Kroger because it seemed to be a good alternative to HEB across the street. The supervisor apologized and told me they don t have more cashiers because THE UNION WON T LET THEM. I found that hard to imagine. I would assume that Kroger would rather go out of business than pay a fair wage. The union would gladly send folks to work if they are paid union wages.

I have been shopping at this store for 30 years and I have seen it really go downhill the past few years. The ladies bathroom is not clean an stocked consistently with paper and soap. There are consistently not enough checkers. The other day I went to pick up a prescription and some groceries at around 4:30 on a weekday. There was one checker and the line for checkout and self checkout line was ridiculous, people lined up down the aisles waiting. I had to get out of line and beg for checkers. The only reason I still do any shopping at this store on occasion is because I like the pharmacy. The people working in the pharmacy are the best but if things at the store don t improve, I will have to move all my business elsewhere.

This store was nice and clean all aisles were organized neatly. There was a very wide and wonderful variety of products, different from what I have seen in other supermarkets. Ordered cupcakes for pick up at 10am. I arrived at 10:02 asking for my order and lady picks up a bag of rings for toppers and tells me its not ready yet. I stand there waiting for 20 minutes as she fix everything up from putting the cupcakes in the tray to coloring the icing. 4 other employees in the back putting away shipment. But no help whatsoever. For me Krogers you get your best value for your bucks. Im a bit of a coupon shopper so by the time I use my manufacturer coupons from the paper and the digital coupons from Krogers website I save a lot of money. And on top of that I get fuel points for which I get a discount at Shell. And whats the price of gas today thats even more savings.

Flower department is amazing for being one of the smaller Krogers in the area. Produce is usually fresh and stocked. I have never encountered a rude clerk or employee on the floor stocking. Plus their Starbucks is probably my favorite in the area, and let me tell you there are plenty to chose from!

Very narrow aisles. Crowded especially during peak hours. Not enough Cashiers at registers during peak times (2-3). Love their Deli, spacious. Also Starbucks and Florist areas are nice. Also love their Frozen food aisle and selections.

I just love that I discovered one closer to where I now live. The best thing same wonderful staff.it is evident Kroger looks for helpful people before employing them.
