Serious tobacco in front, dive bar in the back. Ill stick with the 5star review, but: -The selection seems to have gone downhill over the past couple of years. I had been told this was the place to go for serious cigars, but with few exceptions there wasnt anything I couldnt get at a closer store. Good pricing tho. - supply chains in the cigar world are tough right now, but lots of empty facings. Spend less time smoking and more time restocking so you look like youre not going out of business.

Okay selection and looks like a nice place but why was the man acting all irritable when I went up to the counter to purchase my smoke really quick? I ve had nothing but 5 star experiences at Ol Grapevine Cigar. They never act as though I m an inconvenience. I should stick with going over there every time even if it s only for a quick pickup. Attitude and keeping the chill vibe of a cigar lounge trumps everything in my book.

As a first timer, tge experience at Michaels was very comfortable and very educational! The place was really clean and had a very relaxed atmosphere. My tobaccoist was very knowledable and cater to my lack of experience, he even sold my lady two cigars(no cheesecake flavors ). One of the best shops in DFW, Staff are not snobs. The entire establishment is open to the public. No special club rates to go in the back and sit at the bar and have a drink. Cool little place. Sometimes live music. You will smell like cigars for a while though. We go to a party there every year. Their humidor is huge with a ton of choices and and very wide range of pricing. Staff knows their stuff and is always willing to help you make a decision. The employees here were great and very friendly as well as very knowledgeable about their products. You can tell they enjoy what they do and have created a very comfortable environment to hang out in, especially if you re a first timer! They of course got a bar in the back, which includes live music and events on Thursday nights. Like I ve already said, very helpful and very friendly, and I was impressed by my first time here. This is a great place for the avid cigar smoker. The have an amazing selection and an even better walk in humidor. Its family owned and operated. There is a great bar with beautiful girls. They often have events to promote their products. They offer live music from local bands on the weekends. The atmosphere is awesome. Ive been to just about every cigar bar in fort worth and this one and their location in Keller tx are by far the best. If you are particular about which brand of cigar you smoke.... Id be willing to place a wager that these guys have what youre looking for. But best of all they cater to everyone from the guy with limited resources to the guy who can afford the very best. You can smell the cigars before you walk in the door, and automatically I wanted to walk in the door - It connected to my childhood, where my grandfather took me to the cigar shops to purchase his black cherry tobacco. The moment I walked in the door, Solice was very kind and helpful. Every time I am there, hes observant and constantly checking in on his customers (but it feels a welcoming host when they have guests). D, the bartender, will walk right up and introduce herself to a new face - and double check if they need anything or have any questions about the house. Its a super quiet environment in the morning to afternoons, but personally I wouldnt have it any other way. Its a classy area in the bar area, with gentle lamp light that doesnt overpower. A big way to tell how important an establishment is to the owner, is to see how they treat their bathroom. It automatically reflects the rest of the spaces, classy and clean, no bad smells, and the water temperature is perfect directly out of the sink. This is my new hole in the wall hiding spot.

If you are interested in smoking a good cigar, this is the place for you. As soon as you walk in you are greeted and taken into the humidor where they have a great selection. Believe me, talk to the guys and they will get you something you will enjoy. They do have a bar in the back but Michaels doesnt focus on serving drinks. They are a cigar shop that happens to serve drinks, not a bar with a humidor. Overall, this is the best place to go get a good cigar.

Pretty cool little spot and one of the only in the area. Theyve got nearly everything that you could ask for in the way of gars and if they dont have it they are likely to order it for you. To be frank Ive only been to this and one other cigar shop, but this was the lesser. Twice I tried to get someone into the humidor to help me out with cigars, the first time someone showed me right where the product I wanted was which was nice but they got out as quickly as they could, before I could ask for a recommendation. The next time, I asked for a recommendation up front already with two cigars in hand, the man seemed bent on selling me those and not forcing himself ten or more feet in walking to show me something else. He claimed I just happened to pick out exactly what I wanted, despite knowing nothing about the industry much less the product? I think not. The staff seems knowledgeable, they have a loyal following as their tiny lounge can attest. From all this they seem to be content with what they have, no new customers wanted.

Great selection of cigars, very nice smoking room, and friendly staff make this a must stop location if you want to enjoy a good cigar.
