David Salinsky did not represent the law correctly. He stated that the law said division is 50/50. Texas law says dividing during divorce does not necessarily mean 50/50 it means what is just and right. He encouraged me to take the first offer saying it was more than fair. Sever times he told me my husband would not accept my counter offer. I was emotionally distraught and at the point of having a nervous breakdown. I was a no condition to be signing a legal document. He should have stopped the mediation and rescheduled it. The dollar amount that we settled on in mediation was not correctly recorded on the mediation settlement agreement. I never saw the page that it was listed on. Both parties should have to initial at the dollar amount because that is very important. I would not recommend David Salinsky for a mediator.
