Poor Service and Dismissive Behavior from Manager I placed my order today at 3:09 PM. After 30 minutes of waiting, we asked about the delay, and the staff apologized, saying they had lost our ticket but would start making our order immediately. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, they brought us the wrong order. We informed them of the mistake and asked to speak with the manager. Not only did the manager admit he didn t know what happened with our ticket, but he also dismissed the time we had been waiting. When I mentioned we had been there for over an hour, he laughed and said that couldn t be true. When I asked him to check the time of purchase during the refund process, it showed we had been waiting 49 minutes. This entire experience was extremely frustrating, from the lost ticket to the dismissive attitude of the manager. I would appreciate if this issue could be addressed.

Fries were cooked in old oil. The bread was cold and hard. They didnt have the lemonade options as they usually do. The didnt have the popular queso. The floors were disgusting with grime and oil that made them slippery. We ordered but left all of the food on the table. We were disgusted and disappointed . We wont be going back.

1. Customer Service is just bad. The guys in the back have long hair with no nets, lazy, sluggish, so when you receive your meal it s cold and hoping it doesn t have hairs! 2. Place is not even busy but took them 25-30 mins to get two burgers. Which were already cold by the time of serving. 3. Soft drinks fountain section is dirty and never has drinks. 4. No napkins on tables and or running low. 5. Restrooms, they feel like saunas and are always dirty! Manager no where on site or someone in charge to keep up with place it s employees and the place it s self.

We were told when we ordered a shake that the machine was down then watched an employee make himself a shake. Then waited over half an hour for two burgers and a kids meal even though there was hardly anyone here. And when we got our food the burgers were cold and the fries were so burnt they were inedible. 0/10 don t recommend

This place has really gone down hill. My burger was basically raw and tasteless. The fries were cold and the interior itself was disgustingly dirty. We went early when it had been opened only a few hours, but the floors were sticky and had debris. The tables looked like they hadnt been wiped down. Just really gross. I dont know what happened to this place.

Ordered through the app, only to find out the dasher from doordash grabbed the food and went through customer service to cancel the order. The manager offered to remake the order, so I called doordash to make sure the restaurant still got paid for the canceled order. Love the food here. The queso has been my pregnancy craving for a while. The staff are amazing. Im gonna keep coming back, but I dont think Ill go through doordash again.

Wont be returning. Visited this place on a Saturday early afternoon. Wasnt too busy. You have to order at the counter before sitting down. The cashier who took our order was very friendly. I told her it was our first time visiting what would she recommend? She recommended the Quesonario burger and the swiss mushrooms burger. I ordered the swiss and a Diablo burger some loaded fries and drinks. Our ticket was timed stamped at 2:48, got our food at 3:17 a little too long for a burger joint. The food arrived COLD...my burger bun was cold to the touch and the grease from the burger was congealing already. I didnt wanna ask for another burger so I asked to have my burger reheated in the microwave. They obliged in a friendly way. My loaded fries were cold, the white queso was not melted any more. The meat has a very good taste I have to say. The fries are sub par, the atmosphere was good,clean. Supplies like forks and stuff needed restocking but I really wont be going back.

Ordered MDC, Bacon Cheese Burger & Shareable Fries thru Door Dash. The Fries were Cold There was NO BACON on the Bacon Cheese Burger! It was on the MDC!!! The Burgers were just OK. I think the food was ok even tho the burger was on the small side, I Havnt ate here in probably 3 years but I remember the burger being a little bigger. My solo meal cost $17 for a mushroom burger and loaded fries with a drink. I feel the burger is priced right but I feel the combo is way over priced. $5.29 for a drink and 1 potato worth of fries is a bit excessive. Then $2 to load them is wild. I think if I come back again I m just gonna order the burger and go down to what s burger and get my fries and drink because it s just that pricey

I went to my local Mooyah today in the shopping center because I was running errands and decided that I was craving fries with queso. My partner orders a simple classic combo Mooyah Burger with pickles, I order a Double Diablo combo with queso for the fries. We also attempt to order a cookie, in which the cashier asks whether we want small, medium, or large which seemed awkward since theres only one size cookie, maybe the cashier was hard of hearing because he thought we were ordering a milkshake. We corrected him and got the saddest most crumbly cookie that has probably been drying up for a couple of days. We overlook that issue. Because our order was to go, it was stapled shut, we picked up our bag and left to fuel up before we headed home. We eat the cookie on the trip home, it tasted like the plastic wrapper. Were not impressed at this point. When we arrived home, we open our bag, each cardboard boat has different amounts of fries, seemed odd, we split up our burgers, I give my girlfriend the burger with one patty and I take the burger with TWO patties. Turns out we received a single patty diablo burger and a double patty cheese burger. There was no pickles in either burger. At this point, I figure that the cashier MUST have been hard of hearing and took our order wrong. (Perhaps the music in the background was too loud or the few patrons in the restaurant must have been whispering too loudly.) But the receipt has the correct details printed, so maybe whoever prepared the meal just did not bother reading our order correctly when preparing it. On top of that, the bacon on the diablo burger was soggy and undercooked, but worst of all... My QUESO was not even in the paper bag. It was the main reason I decided to go to Mooyah, so I make a call to the restaurant multiple times, and the phone does not ring, it goes straight to voicemail, each and every time I dial, and there is not enough space to leave a message. At this point, I doubt were going to get a response, so we just eat our mistake of a meal and we cannot even finish the soggy fries or the greasy burgers. We really do regret making a trip to Mooyah for dinner.

We ordered online. My A1 burger has a drop of A1 sauce. My onions were undercooked. My husbands turkey burger was good at least. The sweet potato fries were soggy. I understand the bag traps heat and may cause fries not to be crunchy but these were ridiculous. I had to put them in the air fryer. But the worst part was my cookies. They werent even baked, its just raw cookie dough that was stored near a grill or something... *Edit* In case yall didnt believe me I baked the raw cookies and now they look delicious. Who knew you had to bake em first? Not Mooyah I guess.

I wanted to commend Romel at the front cashier for his exceptional service today. I called in a phone order due to my limited break time, and he was very accommodating. When I arrived, he offered me the 10% neighbor discount without me asking. Romel was polite and provided great customer service. We need more customer service folks like Romel for sure!! Also, The food was hot and delicious. I ll definitely encourage my coworkers to visit more often for the $9.99 deal and the mall discount.

The wait for our freshly cooked food was quicker than expected, not fast food fast but faster than a steak place making a burger. It lost points for horrible napkins and the oddest bathroom doors Ive dealt with. Both of them caused me some anxiety or frustration.

Wanted to give this place a try for the 1st time. Ordered online for pick up and added a coupon for a free burger. We park in the pick up area just for them to call us saying they were out of buns. A burger joint running out of buns, imagine that. They had no problem taking my money and didn t replace the coupon. The girl on the phone said that a refund should be issued immediately to my card but it has been several hours now. Hopefully I get my $30 plus dollars back soon and they make this right. I dont know what the others are talking about honestly. I went in with my brother looking for a good burger place especially since we just finished our finals from university and both of us were very hungry. When we walked in we were both greeted quickly and super politely by Rommel. Since it was both my brothers and mine first time there we asked what they recommend. Rommel took his time to decide which burger was the best option for us due to our taste in burgers. Nati then also jumped in and helped us decide which we should also try. Both Nati and Rommel cooked some good amazing burgers for us. The time for the burgers to get to us was quick with well build burgers. Everything was great! The environment was nice and calm, tables were clean and well taken care of. The manager Carlos heard our comments to the chefs, thanked us and even gave us some milkshakes to try! Which are super good! The reeces one was my favorite honestly! Over all I am happy with the choice of coming here and closing up a school semester with some amazing burgers! FYI everything is homemade from buns to the patties and the fries.

So, I was so disappointed...I recently had a 5 star visit to Mooyah at the fountains. I went back to get the free burger I received for getting the app. I was looking so forward to it. The teenager who helped us could not care less about taking our order and after waiting about 20 minutes for our food (there were maybe two other couples in the store) this is what they gave me! Order The best Quesonario and this was definitely NOT the best case scenario! I also ordered it with a lettuce bun and they gave me a regular bun. After complaint the lady took my plate and gave it back with shreds of lettuce. She then explained to me that they were out of lettuce buns. Ordered through Doordash from this location. Doordash sucked. We didnt even get our drinks or the kids drinks. Not yalls fault. But I ordered a cheeseburger with pickles and ketchup, but INSTEAD it came with lettuce and tomatoe and the mooyah sauce when I pacifically put no on that stuff. The bottom is super thin, and its all a mess. The bottom bun is super soggy.

This is very disappointing to post especially since my wife and I have enjoyed this place since weve gotten to El Paso, more specifically the one that was located on mesa. Unfortunately that location has since been closed down and we havent gotten food from mooyah since. However, this evening we decided to give this location a go and I must say the food was just out right disappointing, not even subpar, just out right trash. The patties were the size of a hockypuck, there was more lettuce on the burger than anything else and the bacon was less than half way cooked. worse of all, we ordered a shareable fry and were given what looks like the equivalent of a damn kids meal fry. This is annoying and a major inconvenience, seeing as how this was my familys dinner time. I hope some changes can be made or a cook fired for such horrible quality. We will most definitely not be ordering from here again.

I came here last year and tbh my first experience was great however I was so excited to come back.. this time not so good, we ordered our food and we got our change wrong it was short $6 dollars, they took 30 min to get our food and quite surprise burgers and fries were just cold.. I asked for no tomatoes and they put tomatoes on my burger Ketchup bottles all over restaurant were empty and the ones that had ketchup were expired and tasted bad .. the fountain drinks had no flavor and the lobby was dirty.. honestly to spend $30+ and drive 45 min is not worth it..

Worst experience ever almost ended up in emergency room. I place my order with the cashier Miriam I order the pattymelt, and the MDC specifically said no mustard twice she laughed said pattymelt doesnt come with mustard I told her it does she checked and noticed it did she laughed again then I told her again no mustard so gave me my number and I was waiting 30 minutes and had to speak to the manager he addressed me as bro give me five minutes more to get my order so I finally get my order and I see they placed fries in my bag like thats going to make it better. I m disappointed on the order, mostly on the drinks. I have been ordering several times, but today when I was given the drinks, they were the small drinks I would get for my kids, but was told those were now the regular size. the small lids didnt close, the clear lids didnt close, and the big lids didnt close. My daughter asked for lids to close the cups and was given large cups. We tried all the lids again and none fit either. This use to be my favorite burger joint. Went last night with my friends and my burger was horrible. It was burnt to a crisp. I also got added vegetables that I didn t order. I had originally made a 5 star review for this MOOYAH restaurant. The supervisor that is there on the weekdays it s such a nice guy and very helpful BUT the weekend crew, I can t even begin to explain how MAD I AM WITH THIS RESTAURANT!!! We always order the same thing and this time our order arrived with old meat and HARD bread. According to the manager they ran out of potato bread so they replaced it with OLD HARD gluten free bread that I DID NOT ASK FOR! And they could have atleast gave us a heads up or asked us if we wanted the gluten free bread or lettuce wrap! I am extremely upset at the fact that there was NO freshness control and how the person that prepared the food made burgers that are this disgusting and HARD! Not fresh whatsoever. I want to hear back from the SUPERVISOR because you advertise to have the freshest ingredients BUT your weekend crew does not care to provide acceptable food or good customer service!

I am a big fan of mooyah, but after my visit today I will never be returning. First i wait 15 minutes to order and another 20 minutes for my food to be out, which is much longer than it usually takes, and the location was not busy at the time. When I received my order, they had completely messed up both mine and my mom s. The bacon was very soggy and our fries were cold. The location itself was clean, but the workers were not hygienic what so ever. They did not wear hairnets while cooking and multiple of the cooks had long hair that was all over the place. The part that REALLY disgusted me was when one of the workers picked out his retainer for the customers to see, put them in his pocket and CONTINUED TO COOK without washing his hands. It was disgusting. One of the workers filled up a lemonade machine with was looked like DIRTY water. After paying $47 for two meals, I expect much more.

Ate lunch El Paso Gateway #252 Location on Saturday 2/24/24 at about 2:30PM. Order ID #AABD8L32AECK. 1. Our order was not correct - one of the 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers did not have any bacon. 2.Tables were not clean in the dining room - cleaned our own. 3. There were no lids or straws for drinks and one of the large silver drink dispensers did not have a cover on it. I was charged $2.59 for a plastic cup for Ice Water and couldnt even have a straw or a lid. 4. When I picked up our meal the trays had bread debris on the bottom side - smeared across table as I sat our trays on the table and slid it them. 5. During the 40 - 45 minutes we were there, not one employee ever came into the dining area to clean, restock or perform any of the customary services expected in every eating establishment. I dont how this location manages to retain any customers - I know I wont return to this location. I have traveled the world and this was one of the worst places I have ever eaten in I understand Mooyah is a franchise operation but if this is typical of Mooyah I will never enter another Mooyah location.

I had the mooyah burger combo, it was honestly great for the price. My husband had the patty melt, I do not recommend. It was very greasey and covered in mustard. He had to eat it with a fork and knife because he couldnt pick it up. I also ordered a strawberry small shake. I had to go up and remind the worker, he dropped everything to make it which I appreciate. My concern was the very dirty machine they run the shake throw and the cup that they cleaned the machine with. Kid-friendliness: They had a good amount of kids seats and good options for the kids food wise. My kids didnt like the 20 minute wait for our food through.

We wanted to try these burgers for a while now and what can I tell you, it was a bittersweet experience. First, Ill tell you the food was good, the burger I have no complaints, fries were not my favorite, but not horrible. Let me tell you though that the place looked a bit dirty and while there were at least a handful of young ladies there, none seemed to care and clean tables or floor up a bit. Ambience is a bit dark (lacks proper lighting) in my opinion and unfortunately the restaurants look and feel just eclipsed the decent food. Will I go back and give them a 2nd chance? Absolutely, as I always do. I hope to go on a better day and try a Swiss mushroom burger or a green Chile double those 2 burgers looked delicious. Try them and judge for yourself, like Ive said, food was very decent.

Mooyah has definitely declined in customer service, and food presentation. Originally I was going to do an online order, however the burger my husband was wanting was not coming out on the website, so we called the restaurant instead where we were then told they were busy and needed to wait but didnt come back to the line. So we drove to the restaurant when we should have just read the recent reviews. They didnt have mushrooms, so then I wasnt able to get the burger I was craving. The chicken tenders were burnt and the portions were small, when we questioned a staff member they told us Thats how it is when being there before we were given way more. Overall extremely disappointed.

Pictures of the burger on the wall dont even look anything like what was served. The burger served was thinner than a McDonalds Patty. I was excited to use an offer for a free burger with order of fries or beverage. I chose shareable fries so I could share with my son. I arrived just before the time my order was due to be ready and was told they were waiting on fries. I watched as several orders went out ahead of mine, one being incorrect. I understand it s not fast food, but there was no urgency to get food to waiting customers. I was still happy to receive fresh fries, despite my order being ten minutes late. I got home and eagerly opened the bag, only to find a very small order of fries. If that s shareable, I d hate to see what a kids portion looks like. Needless to say, my son ate all the fries. Completely under staffed for a mid day, only 3 people that we saw. Had a large family order ahead of us but still waited 15+ minutes for an order of fries. A couple who ordered AFTER us got their full meal before we saw ours. Husband had to go bug staff. They couldnt find the receipt. 100% guarantee they gave our order to the family before us. This place has NO management and is run by kids. They eat while working and take 30min to take out 1 order. They have a shelf full of old that they eat while making your order. Completely messed up my order and when asked for a manager i was told they dont have one. They close early and covered up their times of operation with a piece of paper. Excellent burgers, fries, and shakes! The wait was a little long, ordering is not particularly efficient, and the price is a bit higher than typical. The dining room is pretty large, but an ordinary fast food type situation. Fries are well seasoned, crisped nicely, and the queso sauce is sublime. Burgers are creative, thick and juicy, with fresh fixings and soft buns - a well thought out product. Definitely worth a try. The chocolate shake is decent, the vanilla is so thick its hard to get a straw to function, but the coffee shake is worth the trip in its own right! I thought it tasted more like bourbon than coffee, so I was thoroughly pleased!

The cashier rang our order up as Grubhub pick up, so our food sat on the counter for 15 minutes getting cold while we waited for it to be brought to our table. When I went up to inquire about it I was told well its been here, waiting... I realized they forgot my green chile queso when I went back and showed the receipt that I had paid I was told I am not dumb by an employee because I showed him the receipt. I never said anyone was dumb. We had to go back and ask for the correct sweet poatao fries as they got that wrong as well. But it is ridiculous to charge $2.79 for 1 ounce of queso! If this had been a grubhub puck up it wouldve been all wrong, good thing we were dining in. There were 8 employees all standing in the back store room chatting and eating while the dining area needed cleaning. The manager, Victor, did come over and talk to us and apologize. He explained many of the employees were in training, but he was trying.

I love Mooyah but on my last visit (October 27, 2023) one of the employees was very unfriendly. He was making me and my friends uncomfortable by making weird jokes and when I told him to stop calling me by my legal name (which for obvious reasons is on my card but I hate to be called by that name unless it s school/business) because it makes me uncomfortable and I don t like it he started blurting it out loud for the whole restaurant to hear and making more rude jokes about it. Okay, So overall look of the place was fine. The only issues I had were first, the pricing of the food was ridiculous. I think me and my wife bought a meal each and ended up paying $50.00 for all of it. Why would I pay for that when I can get close to 3X that at Whataburger?! Secondly, the wait time was alittle bit long, maybe lack of staff idk. Also, the food tasted pretty good, just don t need to be buying close to a PS5 video game for some fast food quality food!
