Chili rellenos were not made properly, enchiladas had no crema, and they just put 3 flimsy pieces of avacado instead of Aguacate on top. The meat for the tacos de pastor was super dry, and had foul smell. I decided to try this place out after having a history with chop stix, that warranted a no return. Sorry, but will now try finding a better place for the food we like to order.

Im on the border as far as the food is concerned. I ordered the empanadas de camaron, which were delicious . My meal companion, however, did not enjoy his meal. He ordered a whole fried fish, which wasnt tasty at all. The first one was over seasoned and had an overly fishy taste and smell. The second one was way overcooked.

Recently my family has visited this restaurant three different times, once for lunch and twice for dinner to celebrate each of my daughters birthdays, they are 7 and 4. They have great sweet tea and multiple salsas to try when they bring a basket of chips to the table. For lunch I ordered the fried shrimp and the shrimp were really good and had a good crunch to them. For each separate birthday dinner my family ordered a botana for 2 and fed about six of us. The seasoning on the chicken and beef for the botana was so so delicious. The staff was so kind and sweet. They came out with fun hats for us to wear as they sang which made it even more memorable

Ladies and gentlemen, we are facing a great seafood and Mexican food... I take my hat off. I had already seen this place but it had never encouraged me to enter, it didnt give me confidence but oh surprise! Dont go to the pier or the other one, this is the good one! To start, they have 4 types of homemade sauces, plus the ones from jars (Valentina, Huichol, Tabasco, etc.) They serve you tortilla chips (chips). The place is comfortable. The portions are very generous. The prices also have many combos and packages to choose from. I I ordered the one that comes with chicharrón, fish and shrimp and no no no! Authentic Mexican flavor, freshly made tortillas, very delicious fresh water, the fish has a good flavor, in short, you have to come and try it. I recommend it 100%, without a doubt, the best I have tried in the valley (wow, I have tried a variety) thank you for the attention so much gentle! This place is honestly hidden. Like the other good reviews, the food portions are large for the prices. Its a small location but the plates are pretty awesome. For the price you pay, youre sure to get full here! Paid about $50 for 4 people and it was every bit worth it. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. They do tend to have corridos or banda music playing on the TV which is fine. It does give Muelle 37 a run for its money as far as quality goes for the price you pay. The enchiladas were $8 for the entire plate. The sopa with fish and rice was about $13. Just to show you the portions for the value.

Great tasting Mexican seafood! There are a lot of food choices on the menu but I went with the Combo #04 (1 bowl of fish/shrimp caldo, 3 pc fried fish, 1 ceviche chalupa, and rice). This is a very filling combo and so very tasty! I dont like that the rice is very little but I asked for some more to put into my caldo and the waiter (Angel) gladly brought me another bowl. Hes awesome by the way. I also ordered the Ceviche chalupas (3, but so large that they give you another tostada to make a 4th!) and it was very well served once again. By far the best salsas Ive had at a restaurant! Their portion sizes are great (and their prices are insanely low). I almost had a hard time finishing my plate because I felt about ready to burst (but I did eat it all because it tasted amazing). Their aguas frescas are natural & super tasty! The service was amazing & our waitress was very nice, attentive & fun to talk to. First time being here, and it is a gem in Edinburg. They have a great variety of food and have a lot of specials. The sweet tea is and the salsa is authentic! They have gentle Spanish music playing in the background and it sets the mood for a perfect lunch or dinner.
