Went in hopes of using my coupon only to be told that it doesn t work with the senior meal. The all you can eat pancakes don t apply to all the breakfast combos, or the senior breakfast. Left so disappointed I didn t even steal a cup .

This has been the worst ihop experience my wife and I have ever had. The waitress Jenny was not very customer service oriented and bad at her job. She gave us an apetizer without the dipping sauces, which was corrected only after having to holler at her from my booth just to get her attention. I asked for a refill half way through our meal and she never came back until we were done with our food. She did not ever bring a refill. Her demeanor was just off like we had done something to offend her. It was a very weird interaction. We were missing a chicken strip (3 instead of 4) but my wife forbid me on complaining due to my lack of patience and compassion. Little did my wife know I had to kill a bug in secret with my napkin so she wouldnt freak out. Food was lukewarm at best. Overall worst service award definetly goes to Jenny. Restaurant cleanliness could use some improvement. No reason for anyone to see any type of bug at a restaurant. My advice to Jenny is to take initiative and learn the menu and be a bit more organized. Also she should leave any personal issues at home. I understand life happens but hey, you gotta fake it till you make it or else its just gonna get worse.

I came on a date on Friday here with my bf to celebrate our one year since our first date was at ihop and my bfs birthday and when I tell you my waitress kendra was so sweet and caring even if she was the only waitress on clock at 3 she brought out a birthday cake pancake and the manager nacho to sing a birthday song and I thought this was very sweet and showed how caring the manager is I will most defenitly come back for my 2 year anniversary !

Pretty pissed. My husband and I went to IHOP with the intention to use our Any Breakfast Combo coupon with our IHOP rewards. The coupon would have let us redeem any combo for free. Or thats what we thought at least. Turns out that IHOP was false advertising. Not only could we not use the coupon on a limited-time combo (we were NOT told this, and it does not specify this in the app either) but we couldnt use it on our omelete either. Why have a coupon called FREE BREAKFAST COMBO when you cannot, in fact, get any free breakfast combo? Again, false advertising. On top of that, the manager refused to comp out one of our meals when being told about the situation. What made it infinitely worse was that the manager told us that if we were given a discount on our meal, the waitress would have had to pay for that discount out of her pocket. What the actual f<÷&$????? Blatantly awful customer service from management, disrespect for the staff, and again, false advertising. I would make improvements IHOP. I have worked in food service before and this issue could have been handled cleanly and quickly without the threat of an employees pay on the line. This was a horrendous experience. On a side note, this place could be violating health laws. There is a lingering smell of feces or improper care of the drainage system. Not appealing to customers who are coming here to eat. Im inclined to have the health department stop by because Im really that upset about what has happened.

Our server was great, but Im really disappointed in this IHOP location. My family and I came out for an early dinner at IHOP well since supposedly kids eat free all day every day of the week ages 12 yrs and under. After enjoying our meal, we talked to the front to pay my husband and presented his military ID, and mentioned childrens free meals. The guy who was helping is at the registered walk over to his manager to ask about the free children meal and military discount just to come back to say it couldnt be acknowledged because it was happy hour. We have gone to several other IHOPS in the valley, and they have always acknowledged especially my husbands military ID. Regardless of whether it is happy, hour, or not! As for the kids eating free at this IHOP location, the manager is in compliance with IHOPS set promotions for families since It is happy hour when are families able to enjoy a free meal for there kids at this location if happy hour is from 3pm to 9pm!!? This doesnt make any sense to me...promotions like this are set for a reson by corporate to help families enjoy a nice meal without straining their pockets, especially during the summer when kids are out of school. This is the first and last time I will be going to this location, and there werent many people to begin with only 3 or 4 people at the time of our dine- in.

Beware pregnant people and others with sensitive noses and sensory issues. The entire place REEKS of pee/ammonia? It s pretty overwhelming, could be tolerated by a normal person but my pregnant nose and morning sickness just couldn t tolerate it. Most of the staff had bad B.O as well. 6/5/24 - well we gave this place a try again. We had a good server and food was out in no time. Our plates were complete and not missing anything this time around. Much better service! 5/24 - Update: we went to this restaurant again. And the service was completely different! The service was horrible! I guessing the young man was having a bad day and it was reflected his service. I received my toast after I had eaten my breakfast. He was very flustered and upset. I think he needed a break. We tried out this iHop restaurant. Great food and wonderful service! Our servers were very friendly, helpful and attentive to us with our granddaughter. Suggested seasonal fruit to substitute eggs on a kid plate. Very helpful!

Our hostess sat us at our table and told us our waiter would be with us soon, yet me and my family sat at the table for about 30-45 minutes. I had to ask a random server to come services us so we could get our drinks. The service was horrible they take forever to get to you just for some drinks. So I get that iHOP is typically pretty low quality. So expectations are always low when we come here. Sorry iHOP but its not your goal to be high quality. Anyway if I come with absolute minimum expectations and Im still let down, I am going to leave the review. I used to go to Corner Bakery for the higher quality breakfast but even they have become a more expensive version of a low quality breakfast. This IHOP was special today. Brought my kids cupcake pancakes without the cupcake icing which I feel like its kind of hard to do that since its in the name. But wait it gets better. I ordered French toast and received regular white toast with cinnamon sprinkled on it. I had to show the server what French toast was. Its getting harder to find good food and good service but this is not the place. As a former server and bartender for quite a long time, if theres one thing that I know is important its training. And clearly our server who was brand new got terrible training if any. Be thorough if you come to ihop on university

Im not sure if the online check-in system works, I was parked for about 40 minutes past the pickup time waiting because the online check-in said my order was on the way. I thought maybe it was crowded and the workers were busy so I waited it out until I went in to get it myself only to see my order sitting there. I would like to apologize because I was a bit frustrated and told the workers there to fix your stuff please while I was walking out. I recently dined and received a rather disappointing experience. I found their lack of accommodations for families with young children quite troubling. When we requested a seat for my baby, the waitress informed us that there were no available seats in the restaurant. Despite the relatively empty establishment, we struggled to enjoy our meal while juggling the task of feeding our child, as he couldnt even see or reach his food at eye level. As a result, my food grew cold. What made this experience even more frustrating was the fact that there werent many patrons in the restaurant, and there were even fewer children in need of the same type of seating we had requested. To make matters worse, we didnt receive the items we had requested, including a side of strawberries. When the strawberries finally arrived towards the end of our meals, it was a meager portion of only 5-7 thin slices of a single strawberry. Additionally, we were promised sugar for our coffee, but it only arrived after we had finished our meal. I did express my concerns about these inconveniences, but it seemed as though the staff was unresponsive or indifferent to our feedback. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and customer service. Personal training is highly required for their staff to better cater to the needs of their patrons, especially those with young children.

I was a fan of IHOP at one point in my life when breakfast was always good. Unfortunately, things have changed and the food items has gotten smaller and price has gone up. Eggs were not as I asked and pancakes are overcooked and dry tasting. Companies such as IHOP should emphasize the importance of quality food instead of quick cooking to accommodate time standards. I believe customers would prefer a quality meals versus speed.

Stopped by for breakfast at dinner time. The food and server Federico were awesome. Food amazing. Federico very attentive. The rest of the staff was loud and more worried about their Halloween decorations, and having too much fun with their skeleton making gestures. It took four young employees to put a decoration. At one point one scares the other and a pendejo was shouted. And there was shouting across the restaurant very annoying. This maybe isnt too much for you, but there are other things to do at a restaurant. When my friend entered the ladies room, it was disgusting. Brown all over the first She addressed it to the manager, and he assured her it would be cleaned. When my friend went back again to wash her hands before we left, the restroom still hadnt been cleaned. Toilet still Brown. Also, there was an older gentleman waiting on friends, ordered coffee, and turns out he was at the wrong IHOP. When he told the staff he was at wrong IHOP, they said he had ordered the coffee already and had to pay for it. He said, Well let me get cash from my truck because I dont want to use my card for $3. They responded ok. Really? Hes going to another IHOP and you took forever to bring coffee. I told Federico to put the mans coffee on my tab.

When you 1st enter this building, theres this smell that hits you in the waiting area. Smelled like piss. Then you go to the main area to get seated and the smell is still there. I wanted to leave but because I was on lunch break I couldnt. So I sat and ate thru the smell. Our food took awhile to be delivered as well. Never again. Either their mop is old and being used to mop the restaurant that it smelled horrible or something is wrong with their bathrooms that the smell of piss just traveled throughout the whole restaurant. That needs to be fixed.

10 employees standing around doing nothing and just talking among themselves. No customers the place is dead and My online order was not made. One employee checked in the system and order was in the system but lazy employees did not prepare it. To Headquarters and or corporate of IHOP hire employees and managers that go beyond in customer service and really want to work and are willing to deliver great customer service and are knowledgeable. I hop change the world by being kind and making someone day a good day

Ive been eating at IHOPs for years, but this was the first time bottled water was recommended because it made the food taste better, The moment the waiter said this I immediately thought something was wrong with the regular water. I realized we had been duped when I noticed that we were the only ones in the restaurant having room temperature bottled water. Aside from this, the food was very good. Before I left, I made sure I drank two glasses of iced contaminated water.

My wife and I recently visited the IHOP on West University in Edinburg. We both ordered from the over 55 breakfast menu. When the young lady server delivered our plates I saw my eggs were cooked excellently just as I had asked like an omelette . I asked her for some Mexican salsa. She brought two kinds of bottled hot Cholula and Tobasco sauce. I told her that I wanted fresh mexican salsa. She said her manager told them to charge everyone $.99 for that. I was angry at that. I asked her. Do you charge for ketchup? No. Do you charge for Mustard? No. Would you change for salt, pepper or salad dressing? No. Then why charge for salsa? Because our manager says so. Well I m not going back. Someone needs to talk with that manager. He will go a long way! Nope.

Ill never again enter an IHOP restaurant. Glad the restaurant wasnt busy because the staff were obviously bothered to have customers. Table across from us was never picked up and cleaned, entree ordered wasnt complete I requested it be corrected - again staff was bothered, never given napkins or refill on our waters, I actually had to call the restaurant from our booth to get our to go boxes, then called again to be given our receipt and be charged so that we could just leave. Im guessing the employees are most unhappy working here and I know Im not happy with our overall service and experience. Hard enough returning to dine-in inside of a restaurant and this experience just confirmed why we dont.

We went for breakfast on my sons birthday. Staff came out and sang to him and gave him a free kids cupcake pancake. My son really enjoyed himself and enjoyed the funny face pancake combo. I had the classic breakfast bowl, and it was quite good. It had everything I like eating for breakfast, and it was at a very decent price. Thanks! Kid-friendliness: My son loves the kids menu!

came here with my family expecting a good dinner. the manager treats his workers very rudely and has a nasty attitude. the waiter was alright and respectful but forgot most of our order. food was cold steak looks like it was heated up in a microwave super hard. macaroni looked chunky and stale. the eggs look terrible. waffles and pancakes were either burned or under cooked and the syrup had no flavor at all. the shakes taste like water barely any flavor and the chicken strips are stale and burned. wouldn t really come here again especially because of the managers attitude makes people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. just make the food at your house instead of feeling like vomiting and uneasy.

When our food came to the table it was cold, waited almost an hour for it. I asked for another plate, they said all they could do is reheat it. On one plate there was a hair cooked with the food. And was not even offered a single discount or reimbursement. 3 plates out of 6 were not eaten. Manager was rude and frankly did not care about the customers at all. Not to mention, the salt shakers were noticeably dirty, salt was rock hard, was clearly sitting there for months!! Absolutely disgusting franchise.

Seriously need to get better staff that are attentive I ve been waiting for more than 30 min for my drinks!!! I can imagine how long the wait is going to be for my sampler and food to come out I can t leave because my kids are excited for their pancakes!!!
