This company is extremely misleading and will take your money and run. Spent $600 on passes just to find out there is an explorer pass and an all inclusive pass . Only the all inclusive includes all of the listed attractions that they constantly throw in your face. It would appear that the all inclusive is not offered for San Antonio which made it confusing. I did not find out that you could only attend 1 premier attraction until we showed up to the second one. Conveniently they dont do refunds after you attend the first one. When I called to try and get it fixed, the call was outsourced to someone in another country that just kept stating there was nothing they could do when they ran out of script to read. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told they would call back within an hour. They didnt call back until almost 7 hours later when the day was completely wasted and I missed the call. Tried to call back several times and never was able to speak to a supervisor. Save your money and find deals for individual places. I did this pass because it was going to save me money but I had to find 3 lesser attractions that I did not plan to attend to get my money s worth and 99% of the lesser ones are cheap and undesirable. In the end, I only ended up using 3 of the 4 attractions because we ran out of time and had to spend even more money to enter the attractions we actually planned to attend.

Literally the worst experience I ve had on any purchase on Groupon. The redemption was horrible everywhere I went, most merchants had no idea how to redeem it, I was held the opportunity to visit many attractions due to their lack of knowledge.. I will never buy another.

I had our trip all planned out. We went to the riverwalk our last day and wanted to use the pass on the boat tour. The website said this was still an option but they said they no longer worked with go city. I called go city to see if I could get a refund when I got home but they said no. The customer service rep and the supervisor said I should just fly back to Texas and use the available pass, which is just crazy.

Dont plan to take the Go Rio cruise on this pass. The office you need to pick up the tickets at (RJA Ghost Tours) is closed (at least until March). We had to buy our own tickets. Brewstillery Tour and VIP Whiskey Sampling: Unable to book; called on Thursday afternoon and were advised no one was available to provide a tour that afternoon. Person who answered the phone was nice and recommended we email the events manager to set up tour on Friday. Which we did. She advised they did not have a person to run a tour. We made other plans and in that time, she responded again advising they couldnt do a full tour, but we could go for a free beer. We declined. Two-Hour Party Bike Pub Crawl: Tried to set something up via email with organizers 2 weeks before our arrival. Advised they could not set up the tour and might be able to set something up on the weekend (we werent staying over the weekend). We did use the ticket for a few things: Scavenger Hunt: Hunt is a list of places to see, presented in Canva. We couldnt find the very first thing (which is on us). We asked a worker in the park and he had no idea where the statue was. So, we went up the Tower of the Americas, cause it was there and had a beer in the cafe when we came down. We completely gave up on the hunt. We tried to reach out to the organizers via Whatsapp. At 1:59pm (an hour into the hunt), we received a message asking if all was okay and if we had any questions. At 2:09pm, I advised all was not okay and we couldnt find the first thing. Asked if the next thing was easier to find. About an hour later, we received a kudos message for a job well done. So, dont plan on much support if you choose this attraction. Towers of America: OK Natural Caverns: cool attraction Overall, this pass was highly disappointing. Because of the lack of accessibility to the attractions we wanted to see, we reached out to Go City to inquire about a partial refund. Advised we had to wait until the passes expire (90 days from the activation date). Looking for, at minimum, reimbursement for the Go Rio cruise. Would be nice if they updated their website to ensure other pass holders dont get duped while the RJA Ghost Tour office is closed.

Warning: call the attractions youre trying to go to and ask if they still accept the pass BEFORE you activate it. After talking to the Go Rio River Cruises ticketing center, they said the company responsible for the Go City pass tickets (RJA Ghost Tours) had not responded to them for months and they are no longer taking tickets printed by them. Their office was also closed and they didnt accept any calls. Im giving 3 stars as Go City was very prompt to issue a refund for my pass (which was not activated yet and within the 90 day purchase period). I also think that the pass itself is a good value if you keep in mind that you can only go to one premium attraction.

NO STARS! Be prepared to pay A LOT of money for a 5 choice pass only to be allowed into certain attractions. I ve been on the phone with customer service for 45 minutes. No customer service is being provided; only rip off. We paid $1,000 for 7 people. They CHARGE for the missions when the missions are free. I will be sure to let anyone know they will be better off to pay for individual tickets rather than come here. Not only that, these tickets have to be redeemed at each place. So be prepared to stand in TWO lines at each attraction. This site is not user friendly, consumer friendly, or money friendly. SCAMMERS! To top it all off, if you find out too late, that you can t use your pass at certain premium attractions then they won t refund you for the choices you HAVEN T used because the pass has been activated . Edited to add: Just got hung up on my customer service!!!! Been on hold for however long, sitting outside the attraction we can t get into only to be HUNG up on. Before that was being told there s no manager to speak to, he s busy.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. DO NOT BUY THIS PASS - IT IS A SCAM!!!! I recently purchased the Go City Pass for my trip to San Antonio, and I couldnt be more disappointed. The river walk boat cruise would not accept the go city pass. we followed the procedure only to find the office where we were to get tickets was closed - for several months!!!! The company would not accept the app so we ended up shelling out money for tickets. Sea World was the same experience - we had to pay for tickets because the first place we visited originally charged us for a premium attraction and even after refunding that and charging the visit out as a non premium attraction go city refused to accept the refund. We purchased the 3 choice tickets and could only use it at one place. What a rip off - bait and switch, and go city not giving a refund for anything!!!!!

The wife found or was turned to the Explorer pass by a family member. We did the Explorer Pick 4 and it is so worth the money. We picked the Natural Bridge Cavern as our Premium and it was perfect. If you are visiting San Antonio and want to see a variety of places, check out the Explorer pass!

App didn t work with the go riverwalk boat tour . Office was closed and no answer when called . Worked flawlessly at sea world . Was able to walk up to gate and get scanned in no problem. Worked at the San Antonio zoo no problem and finally at the tower of America s . No problem just the river boats they couldn t help us there with them .so that was a bummer I had to shell out 45$ for 3 tickets .

Absolutely horrible. You cannot use this pass for the River Cruise, (was sent on a HOT goose chase to get it printed but everywhere was closed) and they will not accommodate you with any refund. Horrible customer service, will never use them again.

San Antonio had amazing picturesque areas with historic buildings but all the modern accommodations needed were also available. Great for family and couple vacations. Plenty of options of things to do and everything within 30 minutes from downtown.

Go City San Antonio was a great experience and definitely a great value. Unfortunately, not all the places you can visit are up to date with the program. In some instances, like the San Antonio zoo and the Go Rio river walk tours. We were told we had to redeem our tickets at the Go City local office, which was an inconvenience.

Horrible experience trying to use this City Pass for a simple, river boat cruise! There is no customer service to help you. You can NOT just go do a river cruise with this pass. Very complicated, read everything before you buy. Do yourself a favor and use any company to get a pass but this one! Also, if you get this pass and do Six Flags Fiesta Texas be prepared to wait in a long Guest relations line to get the actual tickets, then wait in another line to get in.

We took the San Antonio river tour and it was fine, but a little underwhelming. It was nice being on the river for a little while, but I didn t feel like it was as informative as advertised. It was pleasant enough and I don t regret doing it, but not as extensive or fun as other similar tours that I ve done in other cities.

I found the Go City pass very helpful. Most of the time you just had to show up and show the attraction your QR code on your phone and you were in. A couple of times we had to go to get printed tickets but it wasnt far. We used it to make reservations for the guided tour of the UNESCO Mission sites. That was great! The pass is very worthwhile.

Best food ever! Atmosphere nice, right on the beach. The butterfly shrimp were so good, the NY strip tender and flavorful, the twice baked potato fantastic and the hushpuppies so tasty. Pricewise...well...I tend to be on the frugal side but this is worth every penny!

I highly recommend the Hop -On-Hop of bus tour if you plan on stopping at each desire stop! ( You need at least 1 to 1/2 days ) It was our 1st visit to San Antonio & we took d entire 40 minute tour so we could see our surroundings we didn t have time to go back & take d Hop-On-Hop-Off bus.. The ride was very smooth & felt very secure..

Its a Good deal if you are going to more than one Attraction, but the only thing I did not like was having to go to a visitor location by the Alamo to get River Walk Boat ride printed tickets they should be able to scan App on your phone for every attraction. I also wished you would be able to do more attractions not just the choice packages and having more options. I would recommend buying the explorer package again YOU DO SAVE MONEY. GO have fun.

I liked the fact that we saved a few dollars but this is a finesse. If you want to do the boat cruise or the bus tour you have to stop at 2 different offices and pick up tickets before you ride. What they dont tell you is that you need to pick the tickets up before 5pm. Dont expect to get the QR code scanned to enter you need physical tickets. Also they dont tell you that kids 1 and up have to pay to ride the cruise and bus. Honestly the only attractions worth visting are the premium ones Seaworld, Six Flags, Ranch Tour and the SA missions tour. Everything else was a waste of money, too nasty to enjoy or just plain bs. Oh and you can only do whatever attractions you pick, only once.

Great deal for us to see tons of our fave city in Texas. We did sea world because of the toddler-centric area, a river boat cruise, splash town and sea life in the mall. The river cruise would be better to do when it s not 100F out (at least with kids) but we loved all the places we picked and will do it again next time so we can try more stuff including Six Flags. Some places were funky about whether we needed to get tickets ahead of time or just scan the app for gocity, but the only thing you need to get physical tickets for is the riverboat cruise (which would be awesome if you re going at Christmas-time)

Very neat place! The humidity was 99% and the last portion of the tour is very strenuous. I recommend being in shape for the adventure tour. Our 6/4 year olds had a blast...my youngest said it was much walking for him though.

I have used the same company for Las Vegas. When I saw they had a San Antonio one as well, i knew I had to get it for my next trip! It was just as nice as when we had it in Vegas. When traveling it helps give some ideas on what to do and what to experience with a cost upfront and not at the gate. I recommend this to anyone traveling to San Antonio!

San Antonio was great! However, the pass was not very user friendly. The directions state that you can just show it at the first place you visit. Every attraction we tried this said that we had to go to a ticket office elsewhere to get the ticket. This often involved leaving the attraction, going back across town to the ticket office and then going back to the attraction. The attractions said that they often hear the same complaint.

The Explorer pass was probably one of the best investment we made for our vacation. Not only did we save a ton of money, we got to do somethings we probably would have overlooked had we not bought the passes. The Caverns and Sea World were definitely the highlight of our trip. The kids also loved the Zoo, the Ripleys options and of course we ended our trip with the Tower of America. The passes were not only a money saver but they were very convenient to use and saved us a lot of time as well. I would highly recommend it and will be purchasing GO Passes in the future!
