Food was delicious! The donut holes are amazing! The million dollar bacon was good, but not crispy enough. The server either forgot to put the bacon and donut order in, or the kitchen dropped the ball, so we received it very last instead of as an app . This could be the reason the bacon was flimsier. The breakfast came out super fast, but she forgot to bring part of the order and didn t check with us for a while to know. The food and atmosphere is fantastic. The service is not. But, would try again to see if server was just having a bad day. Go for the seasonal menu! Worth it!

Almost full occupancy with patrons willingly seated outside. Cant recommend the Blueberry Pancake because it had no distinguishing features. Poor choice on my part for the Mint Mocha because the mint was AWOL. Not surprised by the miserly dressing on the Salmon Benny but I have clearly understood that the chef cannot be blamed - the corporate office directives are fully complied in the assembly including the inability to customize the eggs to the customers request even after the request was acknowledged. There isnt much of a competition at this location if one is familiar with Sugar Creek (or the old City of Sugar Land for that matter) but there are plenty of choices up and down I-59 (Oops, sorry, I-69, Lloyd Benson Highway) where a more enjoyable breakfast in a laid back atmosphere can be enjoyed.

First Watch in Sugar Land is our favorite spot for breakfast or brunch whenever we get the chance. My son loves the chocolate chip pancakes, and I typically get the chili chorizo plate. The food is consistently great, with delicious and well-prepared dishes every time. The coffee is strong and flavorful, perfect to start the day. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who make sure we have a pleasant experience. Highly recommended for a satisfying and enjoyable breakfast or brunch!

We love going to First Watch! My friend and I go every 3-4 weeks for a girls catch up breakfast, and then we go get our nails done. The service is fantastic and the food is always fresh and delicious ! This visit the server remembered us from who knows when, which was impressive. I had the Carrot Cake and Pecan Pancake- only 1, they are as big as the plate and soooo yummy! My friend had an omelet and said it was really good. We try something different every time and we are NEVER let down. If you want good food and coffee this is the place to go!

I have been to first watch several times. Service today was quick. We had a 5 minute wait. Our waitress came and took our drink order, and we asked for the million dollar bacon ( super good, & I recommend always if you don t have a citrus allergy). We ordered coffee and hot water, it took us asking several times for the hot water. They brought our food about 15 minutes later, we asked again for the hot water and the waitress said she was coming with it. By this time our coffee is cold. But still the food was delicious. One correction to our order, however service was quick and the greeter was really nice. My only recommendation is that the workers are familiar with their food products. There are other allergies besides gluten, dairy, eggs or nuts such as citrus and cinnamon that people cannot eat. So it s important that when we order our food it is correct. Dietary restrictions: There are option to order certain foods if you have allergies such as gluten, dairy, eggs or nuts. You can even scan the bar code on the menu and get information on the dietary restrictions. However if you have other food allergies like citrus or cinnamon you may want to ask before ordering. Parking: This is a popular area and there are other businesses around so if you would like a close parking spot, you may want to get there early. There is plenty parking in the back if you re up to walking. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

Weve been eating here for years. Food has always been on point with nice sized portions. Presentation has always been clean as well. Clean restaurant with a cozy and chill atmosphere. Servers and hostesses have always been friendly as well. As for parking, theres more than enough. If you want to avoid the wait, Id recommend off hours visits because they get pretty busy. If they remain consistent with everything, well definitely continue to eat here!

I enjoy treating myself. First Watch is one of my go-to spots. It has a very relaxed and calming atmosphere. I must say, this location has topped all the other locations I have frequented. First Watch is a healthier alternative to most other breakfast diners. They offer warm rice syrup with their large, fluffy, and delicious pancakes. The Biscuit and Turkey Sausage Gravy is very flavorful highly recommended as a starter. Its very busy here, but the service is excellent! I always ask for a booth, and they always accommodate. I really enjoy First Watch!

The only issue I have with this restaurant and it s a very big issue. Their card reader is always messed up ! 90 percent of the time when I go to pay the card payment never goes through! Can you imagine how embarrassing it is when 30 people are In line waiting for you and they see your card got declined ? It takes 3-5 tries for it to work and it backs up the entire line. Doesn t only happen to me but lots of other people. Something they need to fix but they don t seem to care.

This First Watch location has its off days. Some days the quality of the food and service is better than others. I recommend getting the traditional breakfast, the waffle is really good. I wouldn t recommend going early in the morning as it does get full and sometimes service isn t as attentive. Overall I would go back, when I m craving the waffle and potato s!

I just picked up a to-go order from here and really appreciated the warm welcome at the door. My hands were full with a kiddo in each arm, and Daniel offered to walk both of our bags of food to our car. Totally didn t have to since I wasn t going to dine-in, leave a tip, etc. but their staff went the extra mile. Kudos to Daniel, staff & management! Could not eat there. Got on the waiting list and it said 20 minutes. We arrived 20 minutes later and they told us it would be a 25 minute wait. When we questioned them they said the wait time was basef on when you arrived and checked in. So you did not make the list until you checked in. What is the use of getting on a list online? This was our first time back in a while and it didnt disappoint. The food was still on point and the Pancakes are still huge! Im using the Butter Knife as a reference in one of the pics. The wait was pretty short this time, which was surprising. The staff was friendly and food came out in a decent time. Everything was good and our waitress was friendly. However, she needs to work on check backs and pre-bussing. Once our food arrived, she disappeared and was literally no where to be found. I needed Ketchup and was just a few bites from being done by the time it arrived... and it was delivered by another waitress! Same thing happened when we were finished. I had to send my son to hunt someone down for a To-go box. Lastly, pre-bussing was apparently non-existent. When the check was dropped off, that stack of plates in the picture was literally left sitting in front of my Mom... really?! They were even stacked to make them easier to take...SMH!!! Oh, and that was the only time btw, during our visit that we saw our waitress, after she took the order. Take the order, drop the check, but I digress. If it wasnt for the poor service, I wouldve given more s, because everything else was great. Hopefully that changes during our next visit. Oh, and if you do visit, order the Pancakes! Trust me!

It is the holiday time and with the higher volume this location was not staff up and ready for it. It was a long greet time, the food came out cold, and the check out process was slow. A simple brunch took 90 minutes plus. No manager visible, they need a pay at the table option verse one register to cash out. Food has potential but inconsistent with the cooking. My husband and I ordered the same egg sandwich with potato s on the side, my egg was cooked perfectly, (nice and runny)and his was overcooked. My potatoes were not cooked all the way, some were kinda firm so I didn t eat them, while his were almost burnt, which was a bummer. Also, the kids both ordered chocolate chip pancakes, one order was perfect and the other was overcooked and a bit hard to eat. The atmosphere was good and the staff was super friendly so that made up a bit, but for the price of the food I expected a bit better. We might give it another try but reading other reviews, it seems hit or miss.

Bland and poorly prepared. The potatoes were undercooked but the onions are burnt to a crisp. That means it was torched on high and sent out before the potatoes were done. The biscuits were mushy on the inside , signs of chef Mike. The veggies tasted like canned, not fresh. Really, nothing tasted freshly prepped. Even the chorizo was flavorless. I went here to have breakfast with my daughter, the server was pleasant. I just think the cook need lessons in cooking or to not send distasteful or burnt food out. When I decide to eat out it is simply I don t feel like cooking. It is convenient to pay someone else to cook. I would not like to go out and keep sending food back because the cook decide to send out burnt food. They sent out burnt bacon and turned around and sent out burnt potatoes. In the photos I took a pic of the first potatoes and second I wish I had taken pictures of the bacon. I was in disbelief that the server even brought it to the table. I prefer the pearland location.

Was there with my friend. Food was good. We ordered Coffee, Pancakes, an Omelette and a Fruit Bowl. In between the meal the waitress came over and dropped off the bill without so much as Would you like to order anything else? . When we mentioned this to her, she became RUDE. Then the staff at the front became defensive. If you re this hyper sensitive about being given some well intended advice, maybe you should not be in the service industry. Suffice to say, we didn t tip her. Won t be going back.

The quality of the food to go is unacceptable. Please do not get roped into those churro donuts. They are absolutely terrible. Taste like raw unedible dough. Cant believe that is on the menu at all. Waste of money. I also specified no mushroom in my to go order. They still put mushrooms. $40 for breakfast that wasnt even good or what I ordered.

The initial service is a bit slow, I have ask for drinks after sitting down a bit. The place is not noisy and quite nice. Food is great and priced reasonable. Will definitely visit again.
