Long read but I must explain how awful this venue is! Experience as a vendor was absolutely horrendous. My client booked two displays and confirmed setup times with me. If the venue had warned that they would not be giving the full time as promised, I would have declined such a large display. The owners sister (Aracely) was late TWICE. The second time was an hour before the party and all the guests were already there and livid that she was late. I called her and asked her an ETA and she yelled at me and said there s nothing she can do and then hung up on me! Mind you, when I was setting up earlier in the day, I told her I would need the full hour before the start of the party to finish on time and was confirming she would be there at 6 since she was already late the first time around. She said I don t know, I still need to get ice and other things but I can call you if I get there earlier, which obviously she didn t. I don t know was such an unprofessional answer. Then later I didn t have time to wipe the balloons down since she was late so in a rush I decided to spray the balloons with shine which is apparently against the rules even though I know other vendors who have used shine there with no issues? Regardless, I own up to breaking the rules but how Aracely reacted was uncalled for. She came running and screaming, was putting her fingers in my face and made a huge scene in front of all the party guests. Then the owner wanted to speak with me, and he had the audacity to say she wasn t late and tried to justify it saying that the hour before the party was free anyway so it wasn t owed to the clients. No sir, I m sorry but if you promise your clients a certain amount of time then you have to open the hall at that time, doesn t matter if it s free. Then the nightmare continued. The following day, I got a call from my client s mom who told me that Aracely told her I took her flowers and that I wasn t supposed to, basically implying theft. The real story is that when I went to go pick up my rentals, Aracely was saying that she wanted to give the flowers to her son to give to his girlfriend. The girl who made the flower arrangement overheard this and did not allow them to keep the flowers at the venue. She asked me to hold on to them so she could return them to the client, which we did. I could not believe the audacity of Aracely to say this to my client s mom, when she was trying to keep them herself! Do yourselves a favor and do NOT book this hall. The feedback that I received from the guests is that it was awful for them as well.

My experience at the ballroom was thoroughly disappointing due to the poor service. Owner arrived 30 minutes late resulting in having the party services to be set up with the guest entering the ballroom. Our belongings that we brought to the ballroom such as the bride s bouquet flowers, and the left over container of cookies were trying to be kept by the owner. It was a very disorganized event. The overall ambiance suffered as a result, tarnishing what could have been a pleasant event.

Hall is very nice. The problem was with the female bartenders.(young one with light brown hair was super rude, the older lady with black hair didn t understand English and didn t know how to make the drinks). They were very rude and unfriendly. It seemed like you were bothering them when asking for a drink. The rental includes the bar service and it s bad service when the bartenders are rude to the guests. Hall needs to hire some friendly and people person bartenders that enjoy their job and make the occasion a good one for all guests.

I want to thank Celia for planning our three birthdays and Family Reunion all at once @ Prisma Ballroom. We had a great time and wanted the event not to end. We had families coming to El Paso from all over the USA. The ballroom was excellent and restrooms very clean. The Sound system and music was great and clear, thanks to the DJ. I can t thank you enough Celia for being our event planner for Prisma Ballroom. Highly Recommended!!!

Good place to host a small quinceñera/wedding. Dj had some good music for guests to dance, but was lacking the new norteñas like (La Zenda Norteña, Fiera de ojinaga, etc.) Also, the tables were too close to each other, which made it difficult to walk around them.

I had me wedding here a week ago the hall was exactly what I wanted, even though it took the day before the wedding to get it that way. It was a bit hot but the air does work in most areas. Food was delicious. Araceli was very helpful and understanding, was not with me the day before or day of but still a beautiful wedding. Dj was very nice and willing to play anything that made me happy. Over all my wedding was exactly how I wanted it.

We had our daughters quince at this party hall and it was amazing! We had a wonderful event. Everything went great and the staff was great. We did hire our own DJ but that was a personal preference! Our daughters day was perfect and was just what we expected!

The owner was rude and disrespectful. The staff had the same attitude as the owner except for the gentlemen serving the drinks at the bar. The leader of our group was named Carla and she was extremely rude one moment and then dripping with over the top kindness the next. It really was a bizarre interaction. Everybody was bent out of shape over our desire to move some tables and chairs from the main area to accommodate the games that we brought in. I couldnt understand why this was so problematic but we quickly found out that the facility had no additional storage areas. There was no option to place the tables out of view and instead had to create an eyesore in the middle of the VIP area. We had a casino night and needed room for a photo booth and the gaming tables. The staff was late getting the hall cleaned from the day before so our setup was delayed by an hour and the owner had the audacity to ask us why we were still there. Also when we were leaving the staff gave us some lame excuse that the alarm would be automatically set at one AM. Lol. It took us a while to get everything picked up because of course we put everything back the way we found it in the morning. The straw that broke the camels back was the staff breaking one of the drink containers and not taking responsibility for it. In spite of this we had an incredible 70th birthday party for my wifes uncle. Having the option to do it over again we would have opted for another hall, any other hall! There are plenty of options available I would not recommend this place to host any of your events. Terrible experience with the facility and most of the staff.

The service from both the owner and his staff were excellent! They were all very attentive to our needs before and on the day of our event. We made some changes and they did not hesitate to make the changes. The service from the owner and her staff was excellent. We just recently had my moms wedding at this hall and the lady was kinda professional when it was time to set up she sent her sister who was rushing because she had to go to work she promised a sit down dinner and it ended up being a buffet style there was no securitygaurds or internet so the DJ couldnt play different variety so music sucked it was hot and only had to big fans we paid 4685 and it wasnt worth it I dont reccomend it to no one I do have to admit the people who were there tried their best to make it beautiful

I do not recommend. The owner, Araceli, paints a pretty picture, but in the end it is a scam and not worth the price. They refuse to let you taste the food in advance to select, I paid $13.00 a plate for was supposed to be a nice sit down meal. The chicken Florentine turned out to be sliced chicken fajitas, and no drinks , one waitress and cold food. In addition, the roof leaked in the middle of the wedding celebration and nothing was done about it. The air conditioner was not turned on on advance as promised so the hall was hot and .

I went to a quinceañera and it is very nice but the air is insufficient, people are very hot all the time and I dont dance, because of the people who dance with too much heat and sweat, I dont recommend it for hot seasons, terrible weather, not even because they turned on some giant fans

I had my parents wedding anniversary , it was great ! Nice place everyone loved it The food was also very good alot of compliments on the fajitas, if I could have changed one thing it would be the bar tenders and the way they served my guest that night. The party was for my parents and my father was given a hard time about getting beer from the men at the bar. He is the honorary guest that night and was given a hard time about drinking beer , after the party the next day I had a few members of the family mention to me the same experience they ran into at the bar. For some reason it seemed like after a few hours ito the night they cut back on serving beer dont know the reason behind that but if Im paying for the services it should continue till the party is over. Just my opinion

DONT RENT THIS PLACE! NO RENTEN ESTE LUGAR! We had a bad experience with Aracely and the DJ, I do not recommend this place. Avoid doing business with this people. The owner doesnt care about your event. We had a quinceñera and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom the floor was dirty. The bartenders dont attend you right the DJ PLAYS UGLY MUSIC AND MAKE YOUR PARTY BORRING IF YOU ASK TO CHANGE THE MUSIC OR PUT THE FUN DANCE AGAIN AND HE GIVES ATTITUDE. I TOLD THE OWNER ARACELY AND SHE IS WORSE THAN THE DJ. SHE IS MEAN AND DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOUR PARTY AT ALL. Words cannot explain how terrible the owner Aracely reacted when I told her my father passed and I could not have the event or I need to move the date for my event. My father passed in November and I had been communicating with Aracely I had even given her another payment before he passed hoping for his soon recovery. Long story short she kept my 2100 and was not willing to work with me on any terms. Every time I suggested changing the date since there were other people nice enough to want to buy the event from me, she would not accept anything. What is upsetting is that she could not understand the unforeseen circumstances and her reaction. This person has no heart. STAY AWAY from this place.

I have to say that my experience was great and successful! The owner was a delight to work with, and she did everything she could to make my event a success. The hall came decorated which made my job easier. The event went off without a hitch, from the DJ, to the setup, and everything in between. Two Thumbs Up!!!!

The catering was really bad! We were charged $687 for 80 people. And the brought one pan of each side dish only. Like the disposable Turkey trays. I cook more when my family comes over. I regretted it so bad. I called araceli the same day. She said she spoke to her caterer and supposedly that was enough for 80 people and tried to blame my family for getting seconds but not realizing I was there and saw that they were only serving one side therefore I would send my family to get the side dish they didnt get. The catering was supposed to be two side dishes. When I spoke to her again she got on the defensive side and was shouting back, she wouldnt even let me talk. She was more concerned about having to return the money even though I kept telling her that I didnt care about her returning the money. I was only explaining because she said she cared about customer service.

The hall is beautiful but the personnel is very unprofessional .. After a family misfortune we were forced to cancel our event. With six months of notice, we notified Aracely Melendez of our cancellation. She stated she would get back with us on the amount of the refund.. After several months of waiting we contacted her again and simply stated she wasnt going to return anything and hung up!!
