I love coming to this Costco in particular. What I didn t like today was Kia s rude demeanor at the register. Even after she was rude I still said thank you when she handed us the receipt and she just ignored us. I don t understand why people who are not customer friendly continue to apply for a position where you interact with others. I would recommend she would get some training from Kate who was so sweet and friendly when she was checking our receipt on the way out. Because of wonderful people like Kate I will continue to come to this Costco.

Went to Costco. Spent quite a bit of money. Bought macadamia milk chocolate salted caramel clusters got home. Open them up and tasted like stale like freezer burnt, Kind of taste. Looked at the date and said purchase before August 7th. 2024 as shown in the pictures below and the receipt shows the date of 9/7/24 month after it expires so theyre selling old stuff and not even pulling it off the shelf. Bad business model Buyer beware!!!!

We went to costco duncanville this afternoon, employees are rude. After check i order drinks to go. Took over 20 minutes to get 3 to go drinks cups. Tried to get pepsi. It was out. Had to tell them 3 times it was out. They still never charged it. After another 1/2 hour i gave up just left.

The employees I encountered were very kind. The store and restrooms are clean. My samples for today were gushers and tomato sauce lol. I purchased a chicken deli sandwich after my purchase. Rain check on a photo because I ate it. That bacon jam be hittin!!

They make self-serve checkout difficult, because they don t allow you to use the scan-gun (even when you have heavy items) & they won t scan for you w/the scan-gun, because each of the employees w/the scan-gun has to assist w/2 registers (so I think they re really just trying to make sure nobody steals anything. rather than trying to provide customer service).

Really like Costco, but dont like driving to Cedar Hills from Ennis, but only one in area, Ellis county needs one between Ennis and Waxahachie, .... good selection, even when crowded, you dont stand in line very long, and management seems to take great effort in customer service.

I like Costco, but their marketing strategy of moving items all the time, especially sale items out of the area where they should be, so that people have to search and therefore buy more things during their search, is VERY frustrating for me and hard for people that cant walk the store searching for items that should be with pet supplies, but because its on sale, its now it a huge display by frozen foods. Totally makes no sense to me, and causes a frustrating shopping experience.

7-23-24. 4 of the 6 SELF checkouts were CLOSED! when I asked why, I was told that all Costcos must have employees check you out. When I asked sense when, he responded for a couple of months now. I told him that was a lie because the 2 Costcos I shop at the most in the Houston area dont have that policy or they dont enforce it. I shopped most at one this past Saturday and I checked out my self. He said it was to ensure all products were rang up. I then asked, why do they have checkers at the doors. He couldnt answer that question. And when I asked for a manager, I was told they werent available. This is one Costco, I will not return to.

No self checkout (they take your cart and scan it just like every other lane), handle your items roughly, no scan and go, rude associates at the door. I ve been coming here for years and lately I dread going. Great people and management. I have two main issues with it, it s always super crowded no matter what time you go. Saturday? Psh, forget about it. Lines all the way to the clothing section just to check-out. There s even lines on random weekdays during the day. You flash your membership/receipts like 4 times on each visit. Once when you go in, then again to checkout, then you re-scan your membership once you pay, and then you flash your receipt when you leave. At what point is it too much? It s not a very pleasant experience to shop here, to be honest I m highly considering not renewing.

You can find some products at a good price, but not all of them are cheaper than the competitors. There is a short variety of brands. You can not scan a go as Sams. The gasoline is cheapest at Sams, too. It would be great that meat packages were smaller. Ive never purchased beef from Costco because I dont need that amount of meat. You will never find Corn Flakes at Costco. Even when there is not a scan and go app, the cashiers are really fast. There must be some other pros that I cant remember now.

Ive been shopping at Costco for over 25 years across the country but this was the first time I purchased any of their furniture. I have to give compliments to Andy Greer and Chris Spillman who helped us to pick out our patio set. Both were so helpful in loading the boxes. Their advice in assembling the items was invaluable and took the anxiety out of putting them all together. Great quality product and well definitely purchase furniture again

If I can give zero stars I would! Every time I go to the Duncanville location I feel racially profiled when I m leaving the store. Today I had like 7 items and I was at the exit door for 15mins and the lady counted my groceries like 10times as if I stole something. I even went back to read her name tag because if she does it again I ll make a complaint on her about it and record her. This has to stop! This is my 3rd time dealing with this at that store!

The high up mangers can be jerks. Most other service is good. Relative bad service at food court was made worse (not their fault now) because of the Kiosk. Before the Kiosk they could stop taking orders until they settled down. Now with the Kiosk the orders keep coming in until it frustrates and confuses the workers at times.

Had a bad experience today at Duncanville Costco today. Never had a problem with leaving my daughter in the cart as I go through the check out line unless it s some new policy or something the staff member Kia needs to calm her attitude as far as saying things like dealing with people or something like that with comments under her breath. If that s the kind of customer service I m going to encounter here whenever I shop at Costco then the company will lose an Executive member who spends a lot of money there.

Lots of wide parking. Easy access with shopping carts always available as you walk in. Great layout, consistent, product is where you expect it. Aisles are clear and the store is clean. Great selections and most retail pricing is aggressive. Access to check out is good, Costco opens additional che Louis when too many people are in line. One issue is the food court. Great pricing on prepared foods but the addition of a remote kiosk for ordering is not well thought out. By having both a remote order location and a cash aisle that is manned by the server, the cash aisle gets preference. The line of people waiting for remote orders builds while the cash customers are handled. Bad system, better when everything was done from one location. Getting out of Costco can be a problem having stood in line to pay having another line to stand in to get out of the store can be a problem. Still hold with 5 star, good place to shop
