Centurion Palace is an amazing venue for a beautiful wedding and an unforgettable day!!! We absolutely love this place! Staff was very accommodating before and during the wedding ceremony. We loved the decorated gazebo that lights up after dark. It was perfect for wedding photos and videos! The atmosphere at the Centurion Palace is so romantic! You can count on the Centurion Palace to make sure that the best night of your lives is spectacular!!!

August 26, 2023 I had no idea what I needed to do for my wedding. Maria the in-house planner helped me with everything I asked. It saved us from needing to hire an outside planner. She is part of their team. I had so many choices of centerpieces and decor that I loved. What I chose was all included and set up. Centurion Palace gave me my perfect wedding They handle everything for you. Thank you Centurion Palace team.

August 19, 2023 My wedding could not have been more amazing. The DJ had all my guests dancing and having a great time all night. He played the types of music I asked him to mix in for us since we had a multicultural group. They re in house coordinator, Ladonna helped us from start to finish to see that everything was stress free for us. I highly recommend this venue.

The centurion palace was an amazing and beautiful venue, from the reception hall to the garden you walkthrough for the ceremony it was truly perfect, the wedding planner Maria was such an amazing help and did everything she could to make sure my special day was amazing, the wedding coordinator was a big help as well, from setting up everything to guiding me the whole night, the food was really good and the dj did amazing as well, the photographer was also very accommodating and was so sweet through the whole experience, I highly recommend this venue.

9/23 ONCE AGAIN, 4/23 WE just paid for a wedding at this location. I WAS INVOLVED IN EVERY ASPECT OF THIS WEDDING. I PAID FOR THE EVENT. I suppose you didnt realize that they payment you accepted had my name on it. The wedding coordinator was not flexible and was perplexed when small changes had to be made. DJ that they claim that had 35 years experience in Vegas - doesnt know every culture - thus his performance was less than satisfying. Insist on your own playlist. My daughter may have approved your list because she was sold on he has 35 years of experience. You have to use their restaurant recommendations. Taste everything and do not make changes unless you taste it. The real nice decor on the table was strongly recommended and made possible by us; they insisted they have been doing this for several years - good thing we did. The outside foliage only looks great in the old pictures but honestly it needs a lot of work. The photographer they recommended needed to be told what to take pictures - he never went around to each table to take pictures of the guest nor did he make recommendations. 9/23 The photographer was on their vendor list and offers a discount if you book them on the same day . Sounds like a joint venture to me. The building itself appears to be in good shape the upstairs bride smelled damp though. The initial presentation was good but the devil is in the details.

I m giving Pat a 0 star he said his video person was legit. He just let any do the job. We paid him and the only thing I got was my pictures no video. We talked back and forward about getting my money back and he blocked me. Picture my weddings was March of 2022 and still no video. Don t do business with him because he couldn t even get the job done. Here it s 2023 and he has yet to give me my money back.

This Venue is absolutely beautiful! The decorated gazebo was everything we imagined. The atmosphere here was so romantic & beautiful. Maria, Pat & Ladonna made sure everything was perfection for my daughters wedding. I must admit what a stress free night for me. The cake was absolutely amazing. Cakes by Jula never disappoints us. Amazing venue! We absolutely loved having our wedding here! They have EVERYTHING! And made our day so special and perfect. Couldn t ask for anything more. Maria and Pat are so helpful and amazing owners. The staff were so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our night. Ladonna the day of coordinator made everything run so smoothly and was there for every step of the day! The day went by so fast! The venue package comes with a DJ, Cake (from Cakes by Jula), food selections (we chose Red River BBQ for an additional $3pp and it was FANTASTIC), a catalog of their decorations for the reception as well as the garden for the ceremony. It s a very affordable venue and you get SO much than what some of the giant venues and country clubs offer in the greater Houston Area.

The venue is beautiful. The owner was wonderful to work with. The convenience of the wedding package was a huge selling point for us and everything came together as I had envisioned. The only negatives I experienced: The catered food we chose was from Gio s Pasta. We chose the Steak Marsala as one of the entrees. At our tasting, it was great. At the wedding, it was basically Salisbury steak with brown gravy. It was an absolute disappointment because my husband had raved about how good it was going to be wedding night. On site photography option. This seemed like a no brainer. Convenient and the photo book shared with us had gorgeous pictures in it. First, I received over 300 negatives. I was told they would pick out 150 to edit for the book. The edited photos never came and we had to keep asking, and eventually were told they were waiting on us to choose them. So, they edited some and sent them back. These edited photos felt like they were randomly grabbed from the group and just sent over. MANY we re blurry and others, I could ve auto filtered them myself. Initially we were to receive the book within a few months. Today, one year and four months later, it arrived in the mail. To say I m disappointed is an understatement. It definitely doesn t appear there was any thought put in to it. One picture in particular just has my niece and my s torsos. The blurry ones made the cut and most are just VERY dark. Lastly, a good photographer will help you pose. If you re uncomfortable or awkward at all being in photos, I d advise you to choose your own photographer. This experience alone, makes me want to hire another photographer just to retake our wedding photos. Sadly, it would be extremely difficult to get the wedding party back together for something like this. And lastly, we went with the standard vows, and the entire middle section was left out. Neither of us realized until after, because nerves and all. Here s a few examples: Our makeup was nowhere near as dark as it looks here either.

They really made sure we were taken care of at every moment and made the day special to us! The wedding package was perfect! Saved a lot of time! Book early because they fill up fast for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weddings. Definitely recommend everything they have to offer.

I highly recommend Centurion Palace our wedding was perfect! Owners Maria and Pat are complete professionals and have the wedding weekend figured out from top to bottom. There are a lot of venues to pick through and we looked at them all. Centurion Palace was hands down the best value and total package (ceremony, reception, DJ, caterer, cake, decorations, setup, cleanup, planner, etc). They include more items than anyone else and have a perfect bridal/groom suites to ceremony to reception setup that made everything easy. Everything looked wonderful and the staff on the night of the wedding were top notch to include our planner who walked us through the whole night step by step (all included). I rarely post reviews but I know this venue is booked every week and I m grateful for how special and taken care of they made us feel. Book it you won t be sorry.

I m not one to ever write bad reviews but wow, I am shocked and must say something to help other brides avoid Centurion Palace! 0 stars. Look elsewhere! Maria only cares about taking your money. She could care less about your wedding day or making anything feel special for the bride and groom. Maria didn t reach out to me once. Yet she is supposed to be the ONLY wedding coordinator you are even allowed. No coordinator, no communication - left to sink or swim. When questions are asked she will send everyone a FAQ page. I asked about a payment to confirm she received it and no response. One week later I texted her again and she said she hadnt received it. In the third week I finally called the bank extra worried and they said it had actually been deposited in HER bank days after it was received (before I had even asked for a status). She lied. This was my last straw and this set very poorly in my stomach. I felt it was deceitful and taking advantage of my kindness. If accounting isnt taken care of in an organized fashion, it brings quite the fear of how my wedding day will be held. We paid WAY more than due and paid additional money to track our money orders because we were SO excited and on top of things. (We paid via money orders because FYI they charge you if you want to pay via card. They re VERY old school and don t except Zelle, etc.) It was very sad to have to cancel when I was truly looking forward to the venue but I sadly feel what was sold to us was a different story than of what we actually get as a part of the package. Yes great prices but that is simply it, nothing more. Read their contract VERY carefully! (And her responses to these reviews.) Save yourself time though and look elsewhere - you will realize other places are less strict and have better refund policies. Plus, make your wedding planning process and wedding day exciting! In addition, they modified the back plaza wall (looks out to dirty, filthy green water) without notice until after the fact. Paying customers chose your venue and decided to have their wedding there (out of thousands of venues) based on the visual set-up of the venue, it is quite shocking. Life is already so stressful with COVID and not knowing if people will even be able to attend our wedding, but with the venue making the entire experience not helpful, not organized, not exciting, plus making major appearance changes its all extremely disappointing. These are hard times but no couple should settle for less than the best on their wedding day. With fear of COVID, and fear of how organized our wedding day will actually be, we cancelled. When I explained all of these things mentioned above to Maria and that because of them sadly we are cancelling she did not say ONE word back. They took thousands of our dollars, lied about receiving money yet NOT even a response apologizing. Super unprofessional. Awful customer service. Good news is, I found a WAY better venue, who makes your entire wedding experience so special and thoughtful. You aren t left to figure everything out yourself and it s not about taking your money. Do yourself a favor and look at other venues!

Shortly after the Centurion Palace opened, my fiancé and I took a tour. The moment we walked through the doors we knew we weren t going to look at any other wedding facilities. We were blown away from the balcony, the staircase, the bridal suite, the landscaping in the back and the menu. Having the wedding and reception at one location was even more appealing. Maria was our gracious tour guide, and after we made the decision to get married there, she worked closely with us to make sure we had our dream wedding. The ceremony was held in the back, and our guests were in awe at the well manicured surroundings. After the ceremony ended, we stayed outside for a while to take pictures, and then went around the back up to the bridal suite. Even though we couldn t see our seated guests in the reception area, we could feel their energy and it was electric. After our wedding party was introduced, we hit the balcony and the place erupted with applause. Shortly after our wedding dance, we were seated and served our food immediately while music played in the background. My wife and I love several genres of music, so we told Maria we didn t just want easy listening music played while we were eating dinner. We wanted them to kick it up a notch, and they did. One of my wife s favorite old school songs was played, and she got up from the table and headed to the dance floor. A few of her friends followed, and that officially let people know we were there to have a good time. This was in April of 2007. Our reason for writing this review 14 years later is because our friends and family still talk about Centurion Palace and say it was the best wedding and reception they ve ever attended. So, we wanted to thank Maria, Wayne and Michael for making our dreams come true and for creating some of the best memories a couple and their guests could ever have.

Excellent place for an event. Both outdoor and indoor options or both. Service was great. Best turnkey solution for an event. I was pleased with the personal, service, and support offered by the venue. Maria has all the connections for any situation and she was very patient. The service, cake, food, and DJ were all included in the price. The DJ played all the brides songs. Her team made the whole experience memorable. I had complements for our friends and family that it was elegant, fancy, beautiful, food was great, etc... The price was reasonable considering the service and the packaging. I would certainly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to get married. The outdoor was beautiful at night and was Disney like quality with the fountains and landscape. I wanted to add the there are rooms for the bride and groomsmen to get ready on site which was very convenient for the wedding party. Again the best turnkey solution for the cost. Good job Maria! They are still talking about it.

Venue was great and beautiful, staff was rude and did not accommodate to simple request. They simply played only the kind of music they wanted to play and when asked for a respectfully request they were rude and got security involved. I have to give Centurion Palace the biggest thank you! I was a covid bride that had to postpone not once, but twice and Maria was so gracious to us. She worked with us on setting a new day and guaranteed us that our day would come! ( and always answered my million questions lol) I had SO many compliments on the venue and how beautiful everything was. Day of it was raining off and on but I pushed for an outside ceremony. Once the rain stopped all of the staff ran outside dressed everything up and dried every chair, ground, etc off to guarantee none of my guests would get wet. This made our wedding so special. From the time we arrived to the time we left Maria and her staff to care of us like we were royalty! I would refer Centurion Palace 1000 times to any bride/groom looking for a venue for their special day- Maria, Ladonna and the entire Centurion Palace staff take care of your every need!

We are so happy that we chose Centurion Palace. We were supposed to get married out of state and at the last minute decided to do a local wedding due to COVID and it being difficult to get in touch with vendors. We had 4 months to switch our wedding from destination to local and Maria made it so easy for us! Centurion is such a great value and a BEAUTIFUL venue! I had so many compliments on how beautiful my wedding was. Pat was a fantastic DJ, LaDonna was a great day of coordinator and Maria was amazing at making sure all my needs and wants were met. I can not recommend this venue enough! We had the most amazing time dancing all night!

I just got married at this venue last Friday 10.09.2020. The whole experience with the venue and the staff was amazing from the start. Maria was always very responsive to all my texts and calls. Planning a wedding through Covid was not easy but Maria was so accommodating and truly made my vision come alive!! Our day was just magical!!!! Ladonna our wedding coordinator was so attentive the whole day and made sure everything was just perfect. She made sure everything went along just the way I wanted it and truly made my day as stress free as possible. DJ Pat did a great job with our playlist. The dance floor was never empty. This venue was a hit from the first time we walked in; in fact, we booked the venue the same day we took the tour! Maria the owner and her husband, LaDonna the day of coordinator, and all of the other staff were the best! The venue includes a voucher for centerpieces, it also includes the cake which is made by Cakes from Jula (DELICIOUS and friendly!), a DJ which was great, AND four different choices of food for your special day. Maria has never once not answered a text of a silly question I asked, she has always been there for us and we thank her for all of her help and letting us capture our special day at Centurion. Parked here for a few minutes while I fixed the GPS on my phone and answered a message. Im not from around here and I needed my map on my phone to drive. An old man came up to me and asked if he could help me. Said he was closing the gates. He had a bad attitude when he talked to me. Acted like I was going to do something wrong. I know people say when reading the reviews to not look at the 5s but at the 3s. There is no way I could do that! When I first walked in to the place I gasped when I saw how beautiful it was! That sold me on the place but I had no clue on how happy I would be with the service. I had to remember they were closed on Mondays but any other time I needed something they were available. Maria was extremely sweet! I texted her multiple times throughout the planning process and she always responded. She made sure to understand my vision gave me ideas I didnt even think of and seemed to be sincerely excited about any ideas I brought to the table. I loved Maria but then I met LaDonna at the rehearsal which just put it over the top. The rehearsal was great, LaDonna and Maria were able to keep everyone focused and reassured me they would be right there with everyone the day of to make sure everyone knew what was going on. The day of I was extremely nervous because it was storming really bad and the weather was not suppose to let up. They told me I would make the ultimate call and I had up to 10 minutes before to make that decision. They kept me informed and let me know what was going on. LaDonna was amazing. Every time I needed her one of my bridesmaid stuck their head out of the bridal suite and she was there. I feel I had her running back and fourth to the grooms room like crazy but she was more than happy to do it. She even went the extra mile and wore our wedding colors which was just a sweet touch! They let me decide to start a few minutes late but this allowed us to have the wedding outside like I had dreamed and it was gorgeous! Through out the night LaDonna stayed out of the way but made sure to let me know in advance when the toast, cake cutting etc. was. This allowed me to just enjoy myself but gave me time to prepare for these events. I would definitely recommend the Centurion Palace to anyone!

From the first time we went to look at the venue the staff was so friendly and helpful. They took care of everything. The vendor for our cake did a great job. We are both from south Louisiana and we went with the cajun restaurant on their list. The food was amazing. The day of my wedding I didnt worry at all. Ladonna made the event seamless. I couldnt ask for a better day! I would and have recommend them to anyone and we would use them again in a heartbeat!

I just got married here on March 15th, 2019. First of all, this is not worth the price you pay. Maria is very unorganized. We went over ALL the details of my wedding a few weeks before and she scribbled it all down and kept saying it will look much better when she types it up. My rehearsal came around THE DAY BEFORE my wedding. 1) she had all the bridesmaids and groomsmen lined up completely wrong. 2) she didnt mention anything to the readers about when they were reading. I had to ask her about it and then she was like oh I didnt know you had readers I dont have my notes...very unprofessional. Not to mention we were told there are 16 guest tables downstairs that seat 100 guests, (which is how many I had) so made 16 centerpieces and chose to have a head table instead of a sweetheart table. On my wedding day my mom and mother in law were trying to figure out why we had 2 centerpieces with no tables to put them on, they counted and there were only 14 tables. When my mother in law asked where the other 2 tables went Maria was extremely rude and told her she wasnt at the 2 week meeting. My mom heard that and came over and said she was at the meeting and Maria explained that the head table takes away 2 tables. We were NOT told that at the meeting. So my mom had to practically beg to allow them to move 2 tables from up stairs so we can have seating for all of our guests. Maria finally allowed it and said we would have to put them back up ourselves at the end of the night. Then theres the DJ....who was supposed to call two nights before the wedding to go over all the songs and details of the reception. He called the DAY OF my wedding while I was busy getting ready. The mics didnt work for my readers the day of either so no one could hear what they read. I am so extremely disappointed in this venue. Please think twice before booking with them. Id hate for more people to waste their money there. PLEASE read the reviews. Edit to add response: If you are referring to not liking to being told, no when requesting the items that had been agreed to prior, paid for and we were not receiving, you are correct. We never should have needed to have asked at all, but mistakes happen. A professional company would have seen to it that the situation was fixed as quickly as possible and been thankful that the wedding party was so willing to help. The bride and groom had been told that with the number of guests invited, there would be no need to use the upstairs and that all of their guests could be together--not 12 people looking down on everyone else having a good time. At no time were they told that doing away with the sweetheart table would make changes to the guest seating--changes that would leave them short tables and chairs for their guests. (And to address your unprofessional comment above---her 2 extra centerpieces... Kayla had made the exact number of centerpieces she knew she would be needing for her wedding....the exact number of tables that should have been set up as discussed at your meeting.) I encourage anyone to look up other reviews. As with any place there are good ones, but this is a true reflection of the evening and it seems other people have had unprofessional experiences as well

Overall a great venue and we are SO happy we chose Centurion. They were easy to communicate with, did not add stress to the wedding planning process and made for a beautiful wedding. If you are a couple looking to book here, below I have our pros/cons and would recommend! Pros: Affordable, Good back up plan for rain, great cake and vendor options already coordinated (all you have to do is choose what you want and the quality is great), very willing to work with you to get the details that you want, Maria and Ladonna (venue manager/owner and wedding coordinator) are AMAZING and easy to work with, many options to add on for decor, beautiful outdoor ceremony, very experienced so have the schedule/rhythm of putting weddings on Cons: Grooms room is not nearly as nice as the Brides, the microphone provided began malfunctioning during the ceremony and many guests did not hear everything, received some complaints from guests that the staff did not serve them their cake or champagne as planned (to us, the couple, it was great but did hear this from a few guests) Other to note: DJ is in house (for us this worked out but I could see other couples wanting to choose this)

I recommend this venue 100% I wanted a venue that would allow me to have an outside ceremony and inside reception. On the day of my wedding the weather said differently with a little rain. Maria and her staff were so attentive to my needs and determined to make my wish come true. They held off and swiftly dry the chairs once the rain succeeded. The entire planning process was amazing. The owners worked with my budget which was very tight and they made sure I had every moment I wanted to the smallest detail. I would not have changed anything about my big day. This venue is a true one stop shop! They have the food, cake, DJ, decor and your own personal planner and coordinator. They exceeded my expectations completely! Choose them and you will not regret it.

Family owned and operated. Although my wedding day, their vision is their vision... with some insight from bride and groom, how we wanted everything done was not fitting into Marias agenda. When speaking with Maria (the true owner), she spoke about Hispanics and unruly children, she also spoke on a lesbian wedding a few weeks before ours where both brides wrote wedding dresses and how it was odd to her. The cake by Jula was the best cake is ever had and the food was great as well. Everyone had a great time and the gloves were not known to those not aware of the plan. The DJ, Pat did excellent but is also the person that went over our contract, pushed his photography company, which led to us getting rid of our photographer, and have been threatened by Pat that if we continue bad reviews we will not get the pictures. Wedding was July 21, 2018, today is December 11, 2018, still no pictures. We have been threaten with deformation of character, but nothing I am typing is false. We have reported to the BBB, but since the photography/video graph part is not part of the company, (Pat Carson) with Carson Entertainment, a loop hole, there was nothing that could be done. Our wedding was beautiful but there were many mishaps. Its sad that this has come to this. We have had $1500 stolen from us as we do not have our product. We were called on our Honeymoon because our MOH wrote a true review and Maria didnt like it. We have even been told that we wont get the pictures unless we apologize, yet they have our money. Stay away from this place, everything too good to be true usually is.

Beautiful! The owner was very rude towards the bride and had her own agenda about how the wedding should go. The assistant was helpful and kept the wedding flowing...... Please stop harassing my friends and I over my review stating you were rude. 2 months later you are still asking for a better review. To call the bride and groom while they were on their honeymoon and ask for a good review is rude as well. Your response shows just how far you are willing to take it for good reviews not honest opinions. How many of your guest/clients did you taunt for a better review? I would never recommend this place simply because of your customer service. Again please stop contacting me.

Our daughters wedding was here this past Saturday, July 14, 2018. I could not have asked for a better venue, staff, DJ, cake, food, or anything else that makes a wedding day perfect! They treated her as if she was the only bride on earth! With it being an all inclusive venue, ALL of the worries, stress, and concerns were so promptly and easily handled by their staff. The garden is a beautiful setting and the reception area is every bit as grand! I can not say enough about the professional service and care we received. After looking at venues for MONTHS, and just not finding what our daughter had in mind, and what our budget could handle, we walked in for our appointment, and immediately she knew - THIS was it! Beautiful venue, horrible management. As a bride myself, I was very disappointed in the treatment given by the staff that day, and even after. The venue itself is very nice and the vendors provided were wonderful, but because of their staff and how they chose to treat us that day, I would not recommend it. Bride/ Grooms and their families spend so much time and money into having a special day and a beautiful wedding, that no one should ever be treated any less. Again, beautiful place, but very unprofessional.

The venue and actual wedding experience was nice. However the events to follow were unbelievable. The reception allows for a bar and pretty much unlimited drinks which is common. However, when its time to leave, no matter your state of mind you might want to drive your vehicle to avoid towing. Trying to be safe, given we were a little intoxicated, we ubbered to the proceeding events. Only to return to an empty parking lot and my truck towed. To me, it seems as if they wanted me or my friends to drive under the influence. All in all they are EXTREMELY inconsiderate about there clients. I would never return, nor would I recommend anyone who plans on involving alcohol in the reception. Unless you plan on drinking and driving.
