Placed an order for pick up , and 1st time trying The food is definitely not what you re looking for. The beef and brisket is very low quality The fried rice taste as if it was sitting in oil or sauce and reheated for my order, not fresh . The special pho which contains brisket, meatballs(definitely frozen/ or premade) and broth (overpowered by ginger) was not for me at all . $50 waisted

When I d heard this place closed down we were elated. The 2 daughters that run the place are horrid and definitely aren t made for the restaurant/customer service business. The food was quite good, located near out house but the daughters ruined that place. Last time we went we stormed out, just couldn t deal with their grumpy, frowning, rude personalities anymore. Good riddance!!!

Came in with myself and my kid and ordered us both the lunch plates. No smiles, no greetings when we walked in. No kindness when ordering. I asked for waters for us to drink. They didn t bring my kid one just me. I asked again for a drink for my kid and they came back with a condiment cup with a straw sticking out for my kid to drink. (What they put the fish sauce in). The fact that they didn t even treat my kid as deserving of an actual cup of water yet I ordered them their own food absolutely ridiculous!!! Don t treat my kid less than a person!! And then combined that with very unhappy that we were even there to begin with type of energy. Definitely won t be back. It s upsetting because my kid is very well behaved in restaurants and I even clean the table and at last my plates etc to make it as easy as possible. I used to serve so I try my best. The staff just genuinely seemed to be upset that we even came in, Let alone ordered food. Then couldn t even bother to smile or say you re welcome anytime I said thank you or couldn t even consider bringing my kid an actual water. Just terrible off putting energy from all staff. Don t go. Spend your money elsewhere. Everything is expensive so don t waste it on people who don t value their customers.

Have been coming to sesame house for over 10 years and have always had an amazing experience and delicious food! Everyone who works there offer nothing but the best service and the chefs in the kitchen only send out amazing food. I cannot recommend this place enough. One of the best Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants I have ever been to. Parking: Parking is usually never an issue, unless it is during the Festival of Lights

Their red bean sesame balls are so good! I highly recommend them. They are red bean paste, covered in dough, rolled in sesame seeds, and fried. They are very filling as well. They would go well as a desert or a side. Theyre somewhat sweet and have a flavor of their own. They are very hard to find on this side of town and I looked everywhere for them. Its only $4 for 6 so give them a try.

One of our favorite places to eat. They are always nice there. Our shrimp and noodles bowls, (we ordered 2) were good. One of them they forgot the crumble topping. It was OK tho. The lemonade was not very good. Instead of refill we chose water. The fried noodles plate we did not care for. We enjoyed the crab ragoons 2 orders and the Vietnamese rolls 2 orders. We will always go there. We discovered Sesame House about 10-12 years ago. We couldnt wait for it to reopen after Harvey hurricane.

Highly recommend! We were housesitting in the area and went in for takeaway. Annie waited on us and was very friendly and professional. We loved the food!! I didnt think egg drop soup could carry its personality until I tasted it here. I had the combination house special which came with a 2-course meal and it was delightfully delicious. Parking: Guests park in the parking lot in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is arranged cafe-style with lots of room. I saw 2 childrens high chairs and a baby changing table in the womens bathroom.

Walked in to a clean non pretentious atmosphere...Started with homemade steamed dumplings- very flavorful albeit a little doughy, then on to a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork. I added cilantro and chili oil, I did not find the fish sauce to be spicy, very fresh and full of flavor. Their wonton soup is one of the best Ive had, that broth was spot on and full of wontons. My guy had cashew chicken and scraped his plate clean. We will return!

I wanted to try this place because its right by my house and the reviews are good. I honestly cant understand why the reviews are good. By far the worst tasting cashew chicken ive ever had and I also dont like the hot and sour soup either. I used to love this place but the quality of the food is not the same. On my last visit my rice and wonton soup were lukewarm. Also, the owners are not always welcoming. I don t know if it depends on the people - locals? I don t know. A guy had come in after us and they were very welcoming and their attitude changed. We stopped in while on a road trip and are so glad we did. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming inside. We ordered the Vietnamese fried egg rolls, crab cheese puffs and pork dumplings. Everything was fresh and delicious. For our meals we got beef and broccoli, orange chicken and sesame chicken. The portions were the perfect size. Definitely worth the side trip on our route.

My husband and I are vegan and visiting the area for a workshop. We had trouble finding good food until we saw the listing for Sesame House. Our plan was to get 2 bowls of tofu pho and take it back to the hotel. But once we walked in and saw so many people dining, it clued us in that this food would be special! So we dined in and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose items and food preparation that met our needs. We ordered tofu spring rolls, hot & sour soup (a first time for us both), black pepper tofu, and hong sue tofu. ALL DELICIOUS but our favorite was the black pepper tofu. Try them all

We did not expect much from Sesame House, but w were greatly impressed! My wife got her favorite chow fun and wonton soup. Both were very flavorful. The ingredients fresh and veggies prepared, but not over cooked. My pan-fried dumplings were superior to those we got elsewhere and the Hong Sue tofu was very nice with great flavor! Food good, service was mediocre. We had to ask for everything, extra refill on the drinks, orange sauce, she could of came back to the table and said is everything ok and do yall need anything? And 1 fortune cookie and there were 2 of us.

The best Chinese food in the area. Well worth the drive from Santa Fe to pick up. Service is wonderful. General Tos Chicken is fantastic, as well as the egg rolls.

My new favorite! The price and quality of the food is amazing. There is a wide selection so everyone can get something they will like. The vegetarian in our group likes it, and they also do modifications for some items. The service is quick and friendly, the food is delicious. I am really sad that I live far away and cannot visit more frequently.
