A good assortment of arcade games and pinball. Their food prices are very reasonable and their drink prices are good too. I think they make the most of their money from the arcade games which what youd expect from a place that markets itself as an arcade first, bar and restaurant separate. They told me their menu is undergoing development so what I post may not be their final menu. Update: they are back at their original locations and no longer have a bar or kitchen. They are okay with BYOB within limits and are okay with snacks.

Hella cool place. I dont think Ive seen so many old school arcade games in one spot with nice monitors. All of the joysticks and buttons are in good shape and work well unlike your average run of the mill barcade. In my eyes this is the barcode done right. Prices are fair and $20 can go far. Yay Quasars is back at its OG location! Way better than the other place. Back bby!! only downfall is the damn credit card element cuz I have more cash and coins to give. I personally feel like I spend more money when its coins and cash cuz I dont have to wait to have at least $5 bucks to put money on the card. other than that Im so happy its back at it rightful place. Next maybe they can add a snack bar in the back for purchasing popcorn, nachos, drinks, snacks, & ect. (with a person not a machine) That would be so cool and it would make it the coolest chill place to hang with friends. Just an idea, a good idea! Person wouldnt even need to stay there just leave a sign or make a bell system or maybe just offer this service on Fridays and Saturdays nights. Promote! Promote! Promote!

Was going to go to the new location and recommend my son to take his girlfriend, but not after I saw a response by the manager to a 1 star review where they told them to go to Dave and Busters if they didnt like their food. Very unprofessional and unfortunate because the old location was awesome and had a unique nostalgic feel to it. Gave it 3 stars based purely on my experience from the older location, which was a 5 star experience itself.

I m so sad and disappointed at the new quasars. For one they don t have all the games that they used to and they don t have all the racing games they used to have either. It feels like they just got all these games and just put them in random places. One of the biggest appeal for me, and my friends and family was that most of the games for example, like Galaxia were placed close together with the other Galaxia stations making it super fun to play along side, family members, but that s not at this new quasar. They re all spread out in random places. Secondly, is all credit card now which makes it more expensive rather than it being coins. The whole appeal of quasars is that it was cheap and family friendly. I was super excited to hear about the move and the possibility of being able to eat and play but since the move, it seems to be more of a restaurant type vibe rather than an arcade type of vibe. Layout is BAD, just to go to the portions that are not pinballz is all the way in the back super secluded and very minimal. It no longer feels like a place I can take my kids and have a great time at. all the potential is there I just don t think it was executed properly. Great idea, bad organization. Sorry, i miss you old Quazars

Truly disappointing after the move. It s changed from a chill environment to just another bar where corpus finest go to get drunk. This is no longer a place to take your kids for a chill night playing arcade games. The place was filled with drunks falling over themselves and rowdy crowds just there to drink and watch UFC. I have a feeling it s a lot of the same clientele that would frequent the place when it was hard knocks. We would go to the old location at least 2-3 times a month but after trying out the new location this weekend and seeing this is now just a bar with some arcade games in the back room, we won t be returning.

I was hoping that the arcade was going to be bigger with more games since they moved but nope its just a knockoff of David busters. Im so sad what this place turned into and sadly I will not be returning or recommending this place anymore. I guess the only upside is there is still a lot of the pinball machines and Mario cart . I was waiting for about 45 minutes In a table waiting for them to come up to me to take my order they never did. This was on a Wednesday and not that slow. This new location does not have a lot of the old arcades the last location had. I also went from a table to the bar and still did not receive service. Workers were talking to there friends. I was told later when leaving that the waitress won t come up to you and that you had to let them know I m the entrance that you wanted to order food so that they can let a waitress know. So if you go in and get a card to play a game like I did and then later change your mind and sit at a table trying to order food you ll still have to go to the front and let them know the waitress will not come up to you. Pinball machines were great but food service was not good. Don t know if the wings were any good I did not get the opportunity to try them.

Personally its not quite for me, Im not really into the sports bar arcade scene. It kind of feels like a place for fathers. Youve got the sports bar, and pinball tumor in the front. Then in the back is a congested kids place. But hey if youre into that kind of stuff by all means go for it. I feel that it kind of lost its arcade feel when the move happened. Also I just feel bad for the people who play the fighting cabinets, I saw different people irritated with kids running around them.

I LOVED their previous location. As someone with severe social anxiety, I always looked forward to the chill, nostalgic basement arcade type of vibes. Their new location is a huge sports bar with a totally different crowd and vibe. I d never go into any type of sports bar typically but was looking forward to checking this out. Unfortunately it s a totally different feel that s lacking the charm of what I loved about them. I miss the old location already but am happy they had the opportunity to expand to appeal to a new audience. Though I won t be as frequent a visitor, it s a cool place to get some drinks and play games if you re into the bar scene.

New location rewrite: Ive been at the new sports bar/arcade, and unfortunately its a mixed bag. I have to knock a star off because this business is no longer just an arcade, and while the arcade portion is better than ever, its attached to a sub-par sports bar. The good: Theres no more tokens, instead they have a card system that reminds me of places like Round 1. Very modern, very convenient. The credits (called qbits) you get per dollar are very generous, and theres a happy hour where (almost) every game is half off, including all the pinball. Let me tell you; playing pinball for $0.50 a play during happy hour is worth 5 stars for any arcade, much less an arcade with such a great lineup of cabs as Quasars. The pinball cabs each have their own TV which broadcasts their respective playfields, and its very cool to see 20+ cabs all going at once. If youre a pinhead, this place is a paradise, and in my opinion that aspect of the business is better than ever. I could go on and on and on. New games, rare games, premium editions, happy hour. Quasars is a pinball mecca worth travelling to, and any pinhead in the area is SPOILED by the sheer quantity and quality of cabs. The Bad: Quasars feels like a sports bar that bought an arcade, instead of the other way around. About 80% of the floor-space is sports bar, and while the pinball enjoys a premium spot in the main area, the other arcade games are all packed into an area about the size of an apartment bedroom. The joystick and buttons game area obviously gets crowded, but even the pinball area is crowded - theres a lot of tables right behind the pinball cabs, and the combo of pinheads sticking their butts out during multiball, waiters running back and forth, and patrons sitting at the tables makes it hard to move around in that area during peak hours. The old location could feel crowded, but thats forgivable because it was a small building with an amazing number of cabs. The fact that they bought such a big area, but the games still feel crowded is a huge miss. I also cant help but notice that some games are absent (as of opening day at least). An arcade buying a bigger building, but filling it with fewer games is cause for the greatest criticism. The decision to dedicate so much space to the sports bar, at the expense of the arcade, is very upsetting. To be very frank, I like quasars for the great games. I dont go there because I enjoy buying overpriced bar food. Which brings me to. The Ugly: I ordered a shareable size appetizer that took the better part of an hour to reach my table, and service in general was slow even though only 1/5 of the tables had a party. Its opening day, so slow service is excusable, but what isnt excusable is the portions. After my 40 minute wait, I received my shareable $10 appetizer, and it was 6 bite-sized pieces of food. I was there with a few people, and we actually intended to share the shareable appetizer, but the amount they gave us was maybe enough to appetize two guys who just ate. To make things worse, the food isnt even good. Im not saying its bad, but you could smuggle in a box of hot pockets and get food of equal or greater quality than what I got for ten U.S. dollars. I love Quasars, and I think its a real shame that one of the best arcades in the country decided to metastasize a sports-bar shaped tumor. I hope they sort their mess out, because the main effect of diversifying a business is that it adds more paths to bankruptcy. What was a successful arcade now has to be both a successful arcade and a successful sports bar, and theyre already off on the wrong foot.

We loved the atmosphere, options, layout, late night, Prices! We played for 1.5 hours on less than $20 per person. (Only left cus we were tired from work, still had money of the gamecards) but this is a great place to go after other places close. Plenty of staff to help, Tons of games to do. We only wish we heard of them sooner but Definitely will be going back

Were in town for a pre-Thanksgiving family get-a-way to the lovely Corpus Christi thinking November would still be a lovely time to see and explore this part of the coast because we love being outdoors...but of course we get here during an unseasonably cold week for this part of the state. *long sigh* Enter Quasars Arcade for the win, when we needed something indoors to do this evening. You get a game card from the self serve kiosk and then play! They had a good selection of vintage games, pinball, claw machines/chance games, etc. Its not super cheap game play (we have some arcades back home that do $10 unlimited game play), but this was exactly what we needed tonight. Our 8 year old had a blast and even our 21 month had fun chasing the lights, helping to push buttons and just the all around game atmosphere!

Love coming here! Easily the best selection of pinball machines. They run weekly pinball tournaments which always makes for a fun/competitive time. The card system is really neat, I like that you get bonus credits the more money you put on your card. Makes the cost to play cheaper than most arcades. Also BYOB :)

Really sad to know a place I loved when living in Corpus has stooped so low as to victim blame people bc theyre so understaffed theyd rather keep a perv on their employee roster than make sure their patrons feel safe. Disappointing to say the least.

Quasars Arcade has always been a fun place to be. There isn t very much to do in Corpus so I appreciate Quasars for being here and providing fun through the late night hours. I love the games and the staff has always been super helpful with teaching me how to play new games and pinball machines. I have visited Quasars more times than I could possibly count. Staff has always been beyond friendly and helpful. Never once have I seen a staff member be rude to a customer, I ve only seen customers being rude to the staff.

I used to love Quasars, but it has really gone downhill. The card system is whack. The joy of coins is gone and everything is expensive as heck. All my favorite games have broken and never returned. They definitely dont sell Ramune anymore. I wanted to still love the place, but lately the guest service really went downhill, and one of the staff even harassed a regular. Management leaves so much to be desired. Its all pretty grim, and even though there are few other pinball machines in town, I definitely wont be back.

Came in from the Dallas-Fort Worth area not expecting something this awesome Corpus Christi. It has a ton of pinball machines that look brand new and play great with no issues. A bunch of shooting games which my wife absolutely loves and all working perfectly. It has old style and new style arcade games and a couple of riding games. Im thoroughly impressed I cant speak highly enough about this place my wife and I had a great time. Way better than the games you would see it Main event or Dave & Busters in my opinion, there were no VR games but thats okay with me.

One of the best arcades Ive been to... very nostalgic! Quasars is a smaller arcade filled with pinball machines and old-school arcade games. They recently switched from tokens to refillable cards which makes me sad but I understand how its beneficial from a business standpoint. My family loves this place and will come back every chance we get:)

I was soooo impressed! I haven t been to an arcade that I liked since I was a kid because of how much the games have evolved. I was probably 12 since my last time at an arcade so this brought back so much memories because the games were the games I knew! Lol. Bonus! The games are not as expensive than most entertainment places nowadays. I played til I was so tired that I didn t know what else to do with the tokens I had left. GREAT STAFF as well! definitely coming back when I m in town again.
