My friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it completely won us over! Though it looks small outside, it s spacious inside and the food is amazing! The lady at the counter was so sweet and helped us pick the perfect dishes from their menu. Her recommendations were spot on, and we loved the quality and flavor of everything. Definitely recommend for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!

PLEEEEASE be wary if you want to eat here my partner and I got really bad food poisoning the last two times we went here. They don t cook their meat at all and then they will put your raw meat in your pho, which is a huge risk for E. coli and other food borne illnesses. I cannot stress how dangerous that is. :/ Your choice! Expensive prices for sickening food.

The staff member, who had long her and facial hair and was tall, who took my order and made my food was rude and inpatient. If you can treat every one with humility then you don t need to be taking orders and talking to people. I was a first time customer today and this will be my last. Food was good honestly but his demeanor towards me will prevent me from coming back. After my food was brought to me I asked about the sauce that was provided as I was just curious as to what sauce came with what item and he says yeah that s the sauce for both items you ordered thank you and then proceeded to continue speaking with the other staff member he was training as to dismiss me from talking to him and that when I just grabbed my food and asked for a to go box and he said why do you need a to go box and I said because I m ready to go and when I asked for a small empty sauce container to put sauce in before I left he said, no we don t have that thank you and walked off. I should have never left a tip!

Nice atmosphere but this will be my first and last visit. Unfortunately while we were waiting for our meal. We noticed the staff wasnt wearing any hair nets. And the final straw was a man that came in and did not seem to work there who had long unkept hair and proceeded to serve himself. Behind the counter his hair was not even tied up. Serving himself while he kept fixing his hair over the broth!

This is the first time Ive been so disappointed in a place. The meatballs were cold in the center, there were only 3 slices of meat, and the quality and portion size were unacceptable. After just one bite, I decided to leave. The prices at this establishment are too high for what they offer. Ive never experienced such low quality in Vietnamese cuisine and service. It seems that the positive reviews may come from people who are not familiar w/ authentic Vietnamese cuisine bc this meal was inedible. I regret not following my instincts and my daughters suggestion to go somewhere else. If you enjoy this place, thats your decision, but I wouldnt recommend spending any money here. Youre better off using an instant pho bowl from the store and adding your own slices of beef. I dont recommend it.

This was my favorite place to eat near my apartment up until I bit into my spring roll and there was a long hair rolled into it. I did receive a refund, but I feel I have spent way too much money here in the past for this to have happened. This makes me question how sanitary they have been with my food in the past year. I will never eat here again.

Had a few things and this was the experience Spring rolls nice thick boys with an awesome peanut sauce that wasnt to thin or too thick Fried dumplings superb Pho was decent there was a slightly odd taste to it but honestly I couldnt pinpoint the culprit. The Banh mi which is what I initially wanted. By far the worst Ive ever had. The pork tasted like it was boiled then lightly salted. The pickled veggies were horrible. The sauce on it had no flavor. The baguette was nice and fresh though. Service was great they were very friendly. Restaurant was clean. While I agree with a few other reviews that their prices are a little high compared to other Vietnamese places, you have to remember the area this place is in. Ill definitely return again when Im in the area, but only for the spring rolls and fried dumplings

I ve loved this place for 6 years now, and spend about $1000 a year on food here. Please understand the food great, but being able to park with peace of mind while I slowly enjoy my pho and bun combo is also important. I shouldn t have to pay $200 just cause I was craving pho. And so, I m very disappointed in the owners failure to rectify towing malpractices. According to on the road again, the owner allows a predatory towing company to have an agent sit in the parking lot and prey on customers. You re not allowed to walk anywhere that s not In one of the stores, doesn t matter whether or not you were a patron. The towing company freely assumes who s a customer and who s not and never checks with businesses before towing. I left this bad review, because legally the business are the ones who employ the tow companies as agents and allows them to prey. Update: I tried to go eat here after a week since I was towed. No other parking at the front of anywhere else. Noticed the very imposing illegally parked, towing company employees car, and got massive anxiety which stopped me from going in. I couldn t prove my case to them last time, and now I know they can tow just because and customers or anyone can t do anything about it.

Only had 2 single orders a head of me and waited nearly 40 min. When I got back to my office I found 2 poorly wrapped rolls and one was completely exploded (had to find a fork since I assumed I wouldn t need one) Tofu was hard and saturated in sauce. Have you ever had ramen but instead didnt put the flavor packet into it? If you said yes to this question, then youve tasted what this place offers. My wife and I walked in and most of the tables are dirty (its order/pickup/pay in the front). Then we order and their soda machine is broken. So we paid for soda and it wasnt available, cool. Then, the food was some weird knock off of what pho is supposed to taste like. As if they just boil used bath water and then slap that with some noodles and call it a day. Then they offer you a paper tray holding all your fresh veggies. Lastly, bring your own chili garlic sauce unless you love smothering your bland pho with knock off siracha. Mmmmm, enjoy! The only good thing here was the customer service and that s why they re getting 3 stars. Very friendly people that are probably being underpaid to work in this place.

I can never wait to get pictures before digging in! This is my absolute favorite go-to Vietnamese cuisine restaurant. I usually get pho, but everything Ive ever tried there is wonderful. The noodles are always perfectly cooked and springy. The broth is perfectly savoury. The meat is tender and juicy, even before pouring your broth. If you are searching for good Vietnamese food, Viet Bites should be at the top of your list to check out! The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. 10 out of 10! Dietary restrictions: Orders are customizable and they have many options for specific diets like keto, gluten free, vegan/vegetarian, and a couple more.

I used to order here all the time and always loved their food. The one reason I m giving two stars instead of 1 is because their beef pho is phenomenal. The food took a long time to come out despite the restaurant being almost empty (2 people were there that hadnt gotten theres yet either). Once we got the Banh mi & pho it was a lot of DIY (had to add the dressing to the sandwich that came in a very small container and wasnt easily spread onto the sandwich because there werent knives available). To add insult to injury I found a very long hair in my sandwich, and it was all the way in my sandwich. Overall the food was really mid for the price, wait time, & presentation.

If youre looking for a gentrified, highly americanized and quite frankly boring and bland taste experience, then this is your place. The pho broth (aka canned beef stock) is spectacularly boring. It has less flavor than water with a touch of ramen packet beef powder. The noodle proportions are stupendously small compared to how much broth you get. I got a half and half of brisket and steak. That consisted of one slice of each. The wife got chicken with hers and instead of slices it was diced, which made no sense. No amount of hoisin, sriracha or reduced sodium soy sauce (seriously why does that even exist?!) can save it. I came in with low expectations given its location and reviews, but even then I was still disappointed. If you want decent pho, I HIGHLY recommend making the trek to Lewisville for Pho Bistro II or Corinth for Asian Star. The only redeeming factor is the have Banh Mi which is surprisingly hard to find in DFW.

I love this place! I always get rice with a protein drenched in the spicy aloli. Staff is friendly and usually has the food out within a few minutes. Def recommend it if youre swinging through UNT. Vibes are nice and its a good quick meal.

Viet Bites is personally one of my favorite pho restaurants in Denton. My personal favorite is their meatball pho and their dumplings!!! I tried their premium beef pho and I didn t really like it at all so I get why some may not like some of the items on the menu. As far as the experience I just really wish the tables were wiped off more and that the music would be turned down the music sometimes (but that s more of a personal preference). I still love eating here though, the food is very comforting.

Two stars for convenience. The restaurant is like a grade school cafeteria or subway. You order food, get your food, and carry it yourself to the table. After eating, you put your tray away like a Subway no waiter or waitress. I see nobody cleaning the tables, probably way too under staff. The ph that I ordered looks sad, and the taste is bland that I have to use 1/4 of the Hoisin bottle to have some flavor and finish my bowl. With the wait time of 30 minutes, this is a disappointment.

Some of the items on the menu are way overpriced. Especially vegetarian pho with clear broth and tofu - compared to several other restaurants. The taste is good and home style. Good egg rolls. The only upsetting thing is that every time I have walked into the restaurant over two years it smells really strange. The locals are used to it / don t mind - but it can be off putting for someone that is sensitive to smell/ it s not very pleasant. I love their range in drinks including the pre-made refrigerated section as well as variety of boba tea. I would eat here at least once to see if it s your favorite or a pass. It s an inviting place where you can get a soul soothing meal.

I really love the freshness of the ingredients and number of options. The restaurant was clean and the staff were excellent. I hope to be back soon!

If I can give this place a 0-star rating, I would. Today, September 7, I called and spoke with Jennifer and advised her that we just picked up our to-go order. As my family sat down and started eating, I found a fly in my chicken pho. She put me on hold to speak with the Supervisor/Manager Allison. I spoke with Allison at 6:18pm and advised her of the same thing. She said she can either replace the meal or refund the amount of the chicken pho. I advised her to refund. She asked if I was sure because she wanted to make sure I m not still upset. I told her I would feel better if they refunded my whole order- I spend anywhere from $70 to $150 every time I order from there. She said because the total is $70, she would need to get ahold of her Manager. She placed me on hold and then came back to the line and stated that her Manager only authorized to refund one chicken pho soup on my order and that I can post whatever pictures on-line. I m not one to go to that extent, but the disregard I received from this manager and insensitivity about my children eating pho from the same place and not being willing to make this right is extremely upsetting. This is the last time we are going to VietBites- we have been loyal customers since they first opened and had their old location down the road from the square. VietBites- you just lost a customer for good.

I m really confused by some of the reviews on here. Viet Bites is amazing! When I first came to UNT, I actually worked there for a little bit. I can assure you all of the food has a lot of flavor and love put into it. The banh mi and the spicy lemongrass pho are some of the best you ll ever have. Only reason why I give 4 stars is because when I order extra meat on the app, sometimes it doesn t seem like I m getting extra. Aside from that, everything is exceptional!

TL;DR If you want a mediocre pho and Banh mi experience then come here but if you actually want to enjoy what you pay for go somewhere else like Pho Asian Star Ordered on 3 different occasions. Once pre pandemic and twice post pandemic the fast has been lackluster at best The pho and banh mi taste like something UNT would have in their cafeteria, would not recommend it unless you just want to give it a try and are bored and have money to waste

Definitely not my favorite place.. We tried the spicy garlic fries, a chicken and rice dish, their version of chicken spring rolls, and an order of the fried dumplings. Only thing I liked from what we ordered was the fried dumplings (Id rate those an A in my book). The rice dish was pretty disappointing.. wish I had photos. Dont know if its because there are a few college aged guys working there that dont care that much about the food quality, but I definitely didnt get a Vietnamese food taste from there. The prices were a little high for the food quality, unfortunately.

Stopped in for lunch. The service was great and workers were kind. I ordered the Pho bowl with shrimp, and all the topping came on the side. I dont know if that is normal or not, but Ive never been to a restaurant where they did that. The soup itself and noodles lacked flavor. On my way out I ordered a boba milk tea. The tea was okay but the boba was flavorless. Id be willing to try this place again and order something else, but my first visit was just okay.

I have eaten here about five or six times now. The pot stickers are good, the noodles are great, but the beef/meat is just not good quality. I lived in Asia for over three years and they cooked Pho a lot over there. The beef you could eat there would just melt in your mouth, you barely had to chew it. Same way with the Pho place in Corinth. If this company changes their beef and I try it again later Ill change my review, but until then just drive to one of the other pho places, the best one Ive found is in Corinth, but you guys may know better spots.
