Last night (7/30/24), I was with a large group (20) that arrived at Game Changers unexpectedly after having to leave another restaurant near by because of lack of service and and horrible attitudes. Game Changers staff welcomed us in when we arrived and proceeded to serve us drinks and took our orders. Despite only having one cook, the food came out quickly and all of it was excellent. All in all tonight again proved why Game Changers is one of the hidden gems of the Denton Downtown scene.

Last night they did more than great attending our group of almost 30 people without reservation and coming from another restaurant with bad attitude/service. A warm welcome, kindness, patience and respect were the first things we received from the waiter, cashier/host, etc. The cook deserves an ovation: the food was delicious for all of us. The environment is fun, some of us even play games around. Music allowed us to chat. Perfect A/C for a hot night. Clean restrooms Well done Game Changers Sports & Arcade Grill!!! We had fun and of course we will be there again.

Horrible place avoid!! A lot better and nice arcade places here! Minute we got in they would not let us keep our water bottles and insisted we give it to them or get out. Half the games didn t work and the white skinny employee was rude to everyone. Never again will I come here! All for some water they missed out on business they definitely needed

I have walked in twice and immediately walked right back out. Atmosphere is run down and stale. Not a lot of game options. Staff was rude or nonexistent. 1st time we walked in, saw someone behind the bar and never said anything to us, second time guy was rude and took a drink away from my friend. Like literally grabbed it from her hands. Very rude. Not a lively or fun environment. Will never be going back.

Terrible service! Walked inside with a group of friends. One of our friends had a soda with one sip left. An employee immediately walked up to us and told us no outside drinks were allowed. Instead of letting her finish the drink the employee took the drink from her. He didn t introduce himself or welcome us in. We showed up ready to play games and spend money, but we left shortly after that. Will be going to Freeplay from now on!

Nice staff. Good assortment of things to do. Five pinball machines, air hockey, pop s shot basketball and darts. The two pool tables are well kept and In great condition. The cues were straight with good tips. Chalk and powder are readily available. Its a fun place just dont expect gourmet bar food.

We come to Game Changers to play darts and hang out. They have a dedicated area for darts. The food is always good and comes out to you fresh and hot. The burgers are my fave. The staff are very friendly as well. There are plenty of games to play including air hockey and pool. It is a very laid back place so come as you are. They are open to all ages until 9pm then it becomes adult only.

This place advertises as family friendly but is definitely not, it s a straight up bar with arcade games in it. Would absolutely not recommend bringing your kids here. We sat at a table for 20 minutes and no one came, even though the bartender directed us to a booth-so they knew we were there. Wound up walking out. Smells like cigarettes BADLY from the conjoint bar next door.

I ordered on DoorDash. For one, the food arrived in 28 minutes and the food was the perfect temperature! This was my first time trying this place and I m very pleasantly surprised! There s so many amazing things on the menu, but I decided on the dusty burger and the kiddie grilled cheese. This burger is one of the best I have ever had. I love a well seasoned, juicy (but not toooo juicy) burger. My son is non verbal but he tore that sandwich up! Safe to say, we will be coming back regularly! Great job to the staff that was working on Memorial Day evening shift! Side notes I just checked the Facebook page and see it s women owned! Not saying men don t make great restaurant owners, but I love supporting women owned businesses.

This was just what I was looking for it was pretty early in the day about me about noon. Is a quiet atmospheric place to eat, and thats exactly what I got! It was a real vibe and I definitely would be interested in going back! Keep your eye open for this little hidden gem I almost missed it!! The bartender was very friendly and patiently allowed me to look over the menu. I ordered the philly cheesesteak sandwich that was served on a brioche bun. It was good but I wish there was a little more bell pepper on it! The margaritas were good too!

Absolutely awesome place. It is 3 buildings All connected to each other. I believe it is Dustys, Game changers and one other one. They have pool tables, arcade games, and good times. You want to place to hang out this is where you go. Also if youre a local to Denton TX, you ought to try the Fry Street crawl it is one heck of an experience.

Ive never actually been to a bar where the staff is as incompetent as this establishment, I was told my Id was fake. Im 24 years old been to every bar in the Denton area to be told I am not to be served by the entire staff because my Id was out of state, I totally thought he was kidding untill he asked if he could take it back to his co worker for more confirmation. Update: We have been back for about another 6 Sundays since this review last July.. Including hosting my 50th birthday party with as many guests. Thank you for providing such an awesome spot. We will continue to recommend to friends and create many more family memories. Keep up the great work! Oh my gosh a Wednesday night FAMILY BARGAIN! Kids 17 and under eat free with each adult. Old school arcade games, so fun, yummy food, lively music over the speakers and clean restrooms. A moms dream!!! Pinball, skiball, basketball, pool, air hockey, Mrs Pacman, Guitar Hero and more. Bring your quarters or come with cash. There is an ATM. $20 in quarters lasted around an hour but I only gave the kids a few at a time. This is a bar too but that area is kind of separate from the games. Kids are welcome until 9. The manager Art is SUPER FRIENDLY and any time our drinks were half empty they brought refills without us asking. My kids are 11, 13 and 15 and area already BEGGING to go back.
