I love this place! After a long day at work moving buildings, I wanted a good homemade tasting burger. I ordered a turkey burger and sweet potato fries. Ive had their turkey burger before. It tasted fresh and it was hot. Perfectly made. The sweet potato fries were ok. They werent hot. Unfortunately, I ate the burger so fast I forgot to take pictures! Next time. I will most certainly be back. The young man on at the counter was helpful and pleasant!

Yall...this place is awesome! The burgers are the best Ive had in Denton, bar none. The fries and fried pickles were good, and the onion rings were OUTSTANDING. Counter staff was pleasant and helpful. The funky decor and retro arcade games round out the experience. More expensive than a fast food burger, and WORTH EVERY PENNY. Its criminal that they were nearly empty at 6 on a Sunday night! Parking: Parking in front and on the side of the building. Lot is in need of repairs, but dont let that keep you from dining here Kid-friendliness: Has a full kids menu, a place to play and an arcade game or two Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp and double front doors to access the building

This place was so good! I had the Time Machine Burger and fries. The burger had grilled onions and mushrooms and it was excellent. The patty was perfectly cooked. The burger came to the table hot and stayed hot the whole time. Which added to the heat from the jalapenos! The fries were perfectly seasoned. The employees were very friendly and the food came out super quick. The place has a fun vibe to it and my daughter and I played a quick game of pool. Lots of fun! Id definitely eat here again.

Service was a little slow, but they were super friendly! I tried the Star Wars burger, which was massive! Everything was made fresh, the burger was juicy, and the tots were perfectly cooked. Really enjoyable little dive! Would 100% go back. Edit; I did return to Burger Time Machine and ordered the same burger. It was definitely not the same as my first visit. The burger didnt come with tomatoes (its supposed to), and the patty looked to be cut in half. Still, it tasted great, and the service improved, so I dont know that Id change the overall rating. I am going for the optimistic everything is made fresh- no prepackaged food here approach on this. Ill branch out and try something different next time, though, since this was rather disappointing compared to the first experience.

Today I visited my favorite burger location in North Texas. I had the Combo, Time Machine Burger with added Grilled Mushrooms and Onions. Juicy!!! Everything just worked well together. The mushrooms brought some earthiness, the grilled onions brought a sweet flavor and the grilled jalapeño brought a little spicy kick. The onion rings were delicious. I like the fact that on the first bite I didn t pull all of the onion out of the batter. Good experience and would definitely recommend.

As much as I want this family business to succeed, unfortunately. Its very forgettable. Upon entering the business I was slapped in the face with a sour smell that reminded me something dead in the wall. The atmosphere was OK. There is no real identity. Between the large family tables, to the arcade game, to the bar, its a struggle to a feel for this place. The service was great. The lone cashier had a great smile and bubbly personality. I ordered the Cowboy burger. When it arrived it had an appearance of non-automation. The burger was good, but not attention grabbing. The fries appeard to be hand cut, unconfirmed. They were unappealing and limp. In all it was a good experience for $15, but nothing to go out of my way for.

Went at night (6:40 PM) to this restaurant. The place is dimly lit and questionable characters lurking in the dark out front. Took my wife and two kids. We found the burgers to be pretty good. The fries were above average in flavor. The burger cost was ok but the fries were expensive. The amount of fries you get for the money is very poor too. Kids meal with the burger was good but the chicken fingers meal was poor. We paid $42.49 and left still hungry. If I went back, Id only order burgers and make the fries at home. When I walked in I saw workers grabbing food from the freezer area including bread with no gloves on. Next my burger was made incorrectly and when I took it back to be fixed they simply scraped the sauces off and sent it back, I know this because there was visible mustard on the burger that I then had to remove with a napkin and try to enjoy it. Pictured below is the burger they sent back which was clearly microwaved and did not have a pile of Colby jack like the menu says, it also was not stuffed with cheese as described. Even doing that it took them 12 mins to fix my burger leaving my fries, tator tots and other burgers to get cold. The tator tots were flavorless, the only thing that was somewhat good was the fries. The inside of the restaurant was dirty in general and workers were racing around with no regard for my toddler that they almost knocked over.

A friend of mine and I have both eaten at and talked about the numerous places to have a burger from. We recently talked about the places wed rate as the best weve had, understanding, of course, that best is a subjective term. This past weekend, I had the chance to revisit the Burger Time Machine and confirm that it is a top 2, if not the top, experience for me. The first time I ate here, I ordered a Star Wars and added bacon. This time, I asked the person taking my order for their recommendation and they suggested a Time Machine. I was not disappointed. The meat was seasoned well, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the toppings were balanced. The bun held together where other buns would have likely devolved into a soppy mess. There arent many fries Id say are perfect but the side of fries I had that day were as close to that as Id hope to get. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of salt. I actually felt a little guilty dipping them in ketchup. I live a good 45 minutes away but I need to drag both my family and my friends on a drive north up 35 so they can experience this place too.

I am impressed by the different burgers they have to choose from here! I got the Star Wars burger, which was really good! I plan on tying the Star Trek burger. The fries were fresh and had great flavor from the seasoning they have. Service was great! Talk about a great place to work, the workers can play pool when it isnt busy! This place never fails. Best burgers Ive had in the DFW area. This is a family favorite. Weve dined in, and done take out many times. The atmosphere is great, this is a must visit if you havent been. Kid-friendliness: They have a small play area for the younger kids in the back, a few arcade games, and a pool table

Excellent quality meat in my burger and super fresh toppings! Burger was hand crafted patty and a warm baked bun. The message board asking When would you go back in time to? ...is filled with heart touching answers. The vibe of this place is olskool family food joint and next time Im in town I would definitely go back! Kid-friendliness: Film memorabilia posters and arcade style Video games plus a play area with toys. It looked and smelled clean.

My brother and I were wanting good fries and Google led us here and Google did not disappoint. We got the fried mushrooms and they were so good!!! I got the hot Buffalo burger seen in picture and my brother got the teriyaki one. You can taste that theyre fresh and they were cooked to perfection <3. My 6 year old also ate her whole corndog so this place is definitely a win.

It was overall a good experience. Came with a group of 9 and they had good seating for big groups as well as small groups. The onion rings were amazing, cheese sticks were great, prices very reasonable, and service was reasonably fast. My only criticism is that the meat in my burger was a bit dry and didn t have an abundance of flavor. The presentation was nice and everything was fresh but the meat could use some seasoning and maybe less time on the grill. I wouldn t let it keep me from coming back but next time I might ask for it cooked to medium.

Hard to believe that I ve lived in denton for YEARS and I ve just now started to enjoy these burgers! anyways my favorite so far is the country peanut butter burger BUT today I tried something different- the Star Trek delicious ! A combination of meat patty s with pepperoni, Swiss cheese and marinara sauce .. SO GOOD! Family loved the interior decor, it s very unique and the staff is very polite and welcoming! Picture don t do it Justice ! 5+ stars for us! If your ever in Denton, it s a MUST visit
