Cant tell you how Erick is for an Attorney, but its NOT worth the money to use him for a Mediator, I know he is supposed to be neutral, I felt it was round and and round a definitely not worth the charge, looking back I was overly stressed about time and money paying him and made decisions I should have never agreed on, but I will say, they love lunch time, people like me in a crazy situation, already being taken advantage of by a spouse dont always have a stomach for lunch when time is ticking. But thanks Erick is not worth the money or time, keep looking I did take advise from my attorney on him, that was a mistake made too Its all about $$$$$ Remember they work for you , you pay them

I hired Eric while Im the middle.of my divorce, with all the complications it felt like I had, he never made me feel it was too much for him or his office staff. ALWAYS AVAILABLE, staff, and the grit to handle the opposing attorney is what have the greatest outcome Highly recommended

I cant thank Eric enough! He was awesome during this whole process. His honesty, integrity and sage advice were instrumental in my difficult circumstance. He was straight up from the very beginning and I couldnt have been happier. Erics paralegal Stormi was also outstanding. She understood the challenges and really helped me understand the process. I would highly recommend Eric and his team for anyone who needs a divorce attorney. Eric handled my case professionally, quickly (as fast as courts allow), and I always knew the next steps. He was upfront about managing my expectations. He will ask you to complete a co-parenting class that I found to be extremely helpful; I wish my ex would have been required to take it. He had a game plan going into mediation that was 100% successful. His team responded to my queries immediately. I will continue to use the Navarrette Family Law for any future custody needs.

When we were looking for an attorney there were so many to choose from that we didnt know where to start. However, choosing the right one was crucial due to the nature of our case. With my sisters sudden passing, my 7-year-old niece was left in an unsafe environment. We knew time was of the essence and we needed someone who would act fast. We needed an honest, genuine, and trustworthy attorney. We wanted someone we could trust to put our best interests at heart. Thats when a good friend referred us to Eric Navarrette. We passed several attorneys offices on our drive to Denton from Springtown to meet Eric and his team because he came so highly recommended. His office was beautiful, his staff was friendly and very professional. Once we sat down with Eric we were confident that he was the one we were looking for. Within less than a week of hiring Eric as our attorney, we were picking up our niece with a court order! I felt so confident at every court appearance because he was right by our side representing us to the fullest. My sisters last wish was for us to raise her daughter, and with the help of Eric and his team, we will be adopting her! I thank God every day for that referral and for placing Eric and his team in our lives when we needed them most. Don t waste your money! Changed lawyers on me from someone that knew what they were doing to Eric who is so unbelievably incompetent. Refused to meet in person let alone a zoom call. Claimed he was busy . Would only communicate through email or phone calls that wouldn t even last 10 minutes. He never reassured me or gave me options. Refused to explore any other avenues. Claimed he couldn t get evidence from courts. Claimed it was my choice to give what I had or not. Then without a response sent an email threatening to drop me as a client. I sent what I had then the same day sent me the exact evidence from the courts he claimed he couldn t get. He became angry with me for questioning what was being done after blowing through thousands of dollars and only pushed my case. Then without a call I got an email for motion of withdrawal from my case. Saying I never sent what I had as evidence, which I did and I even have proof in emails. All because I questioned what he was doing.What a sorry excuse for a lawyer. You may as well light your money on fire. You can only go as low as one star but this incompetent lawyer deserves negative stars!!!!!

Eric is an excellent attorney. I was going through some child custody problems, and my case was a bit different than most. He told me the truth about how I should handle everything and let me make the important decisions. I am a father, I ended up with 50/50 custody of my child thanks to Eric, and I can not thank him enough.

For the past 8 years my girls and I have been fighting what seemed like a never ending battle with my ex husband. I had lost all hope until I met Eric. Eric is by far the best attorney I have ever met, and I have met a lot. My girls will no longer have the load of stress on their shoulders, shed anymore sad tears, or fear of missing out on their activities and lives any more. Eric is not a 5 star attorney, he is a 10 + star attorney. He is patient, he explains, he answers questions, and he guides you in the best way. Is it being neutral when you repeatedly tell someone over and over and over, for HOURS, that they have NO chance at winning custody in court? Also, from your comment, it s okay to ignore or disregard an email just because you re limited on what you can discuss? So, instead of just responding with that, you think it s respectful/professional to leave someone guessing for a week? My rating was not in error. Here s your comment: Eric Navarette mislead my fiancé in mediation. His ex-wife moved the the kids from Texas to Missouri. My fiancé made it very clear in mediation that if it wasn t written in the agreement that she has to drive them to the airport that she would use that as an excuse to make us drive 40hours in a weekend to see the kids. Eric told my fiancé it wasn t necessary to have it listed because it was part of standard language. Well sure enough she s refusing to take them to the airport because it s not written in the agreement. When my fiancé tried to contact Mr. Navarrette regarding this issue it took him about a week to respond AND he told my fiancé he couldn t discuss this issue unless he pays to come back for arbitration. This is completely ridiculous when we already paid $900 to get screwed in mediation once. Thank you Eric for aiding in the suffrage of my family (including my 3 year old daughter). You re a gem. **funny it took you almost a week to respond to an email but only an hour to respond to a bad review

Divorce is an emotionally stressful process and in my case the fear of the unknown made it worse. When I decided to file for divorce I wanted to hire the best attorney because I had absolutely no experience in the matter so I got online and read reviews. When I hired Ms. Bowen she worked for a highly recommended firm in Dallas with an office in Denton. During my divorce she left the firm and I continued with her because she already had all my information. I assumed that if she had been part of such a reputable firm she was probably good. Looking back, I consider this decision to have been the biggest and worst mistake I made throughout my divorce process. On the day of mediation my ex-husbands attorney made most of the decisions. I was so emotionally distraught that there were times I asked Ms. Bowen what I should do. But is it not expected for an attorney to guide and give the most beneficial advice. He s inventory and appraisal was done a month after mine so he increased the amount owned on his credit cards. And as a result of not being advised to have my home appraised before mediation, I had to give him $10,000 more than it was worth. My name was continuously misspelled. I don t have a common name but I was charged by the minute for any contact and time spent on paperwork so the least I expected was the correct spelling of my name. When they drafted the divorce decree and sent it to the opposing counsel she made corrections to at least half of the document. Aside from the grammatical corrections, she made it more specific regarding care of the children and of course all in favor of her client.
