August 2024 We haven t been back for a long time. This is still one of best Pho around this area. Beef broth is smooth snd flavorful, can t get enough. Great grilled pork plate as well. I believe the sliced pork was cooked to order. The only down side is the corridor to the bath room is heavy congested and dark. It was the store room for their dry goods. Storage space is the struggle with most restaurants in this area. I waited in the corridor to ensure my young daughter is safe visiting the girls room. If you can overlook that, this is a good place to have a great pho and Vietnamese food. My rating as 5 is very satisfied. Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Attentive and Courteous 4/5 Cleanliness 2/5 Will I revisit? Yes Will I returned? Yes.

Probably the dirtiest restaurant ever...the bean sprouts and basil and lemon is in the front counter not covered or refrigerated. The flies landing on the bean sprouts after I saw that I never went back again... The pho is lacking ingredients very bland the spring rolls are not that bad but very pricey... Texas has no good pho restaurant seem like ever place is over priced ,low quality food few pieces of beef less noodles .. skimpy portion for a bowel of pho that cost $2.00 to make. This place is so good. I ve lived in Garland for ten years and we keep coming back to Pho Bang. The brisket pho with meatballs is awesome also the charred pork noodle dish, number 25. You can pay a lot of money for food in Dallas but this place gets it right every single time and the value is incredible. They also have Vietnamese coffee and their iced tea is green tea. They re fast too. We went to Vietnam a year ago and loved the food and we ve been able to find a few of the dishes we loved here. It s a DFW gem. Get you some.

Super friendly, family oriented business. My daughter and I went in at 8:00 p.m. on a Thursday evening, and were treated with great hospitality as well as their food continuing to be spot on. Food quality is excellent, and their prices are spot on! Ive been there several times, and I will definitely be back many more times. I love Pho Bang Garland, and you will too!! Same people running the show, same plaza, every day. The most consistent, and delicious Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) you could ask for in Dallas. Their egg rolls are also fire, and hot hot when they come out so be aware. Their large combination Pho is worth it and for me, does not require modification. They changed the chef, and pho used to be good, but now the beef slice is too thick, which doesnt taste tender anymore. Its one of the few things when consider eating pho. The broth however still retained an authentic taste. Bo luc lac as well, the beefs werent tender anymore, and there werent anymore whole roasted garlic added either.

I used to go here and recommend this place to others because I liked the bún th t n ng, but I will not anymore. The last time I came here, in November 2022, I brought a friend, hoping to introduce her to good authentic Vietnamese food. The service was not good or friendly, which I expected, but the reason I m dissatisfied is they tried to overcharge both my friend and me for our entrees. We paid with card, and once we explained why our bills were higher than they should be based on the price listed on the menu, they refunded us in cash. Also, they charged extra for the chè because we ordered it for takeout, which doesn t make sense to me. This incident was an embarrassment to me since I recommended this restaurant to my friend. I used to like eating here, so it s a shame that this experience has ruined this restaurant for me.

TL;DR = 90% of the time is the best ph and egg rolls in D/FW. The other 10% is some of the worst, watered-down ph in the area. Dirty place but food is redeeming factor. PROS (1) Ph is one of the best, if not the best, in D/FW for 90% of the time. The broth is rich, the meat is tender, etc. etc. etc. But the other 10% of the time see below for CONS. (2) The egg rolls OMG. GET. THE. EGG. ROLLS. These are the BEST egg rolls Ive ever had in my entire life. They are huge, deep-fried, filled with meat, and incredibly crispy. Ive never ever had a Ph Bang egg roll that wasnt delectable. Honestly I can eat 6 of them. They come with these huge lettuce leaves for wrapping and theyre *chefs kiss*. (3) Prices are affordable, and certainly more affordable than some of the up-and-coming ph joints that are albeit cleaner and with better customer service, but most often with worse-quality food. Ph Bang is the best bang-for-your-buck (pardon the pun) ph in D/FW. Okay, now...the CONS (1) The other 10% of the time, the ph is atrocious. Weve had this experience multiple times: the broth is very watered down. This typically happens on busier days like weekends, and in the evenings they probably didnt make enough broth and so you can taste that they literally poured water into the broth to increase the volume, which makes it diluted. Not good. (2) Yall, the place is dirty. They recently renovated/remodeled (maybe in 2017 or 2018) and it got a LOT better since before the renovation, but...lets just say, dont look too closely at the floors. Tables are a little greasy. Wipe down your spoons and chopsticks before you use them. (3) Customer service is...well, its indicative of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, lets put it at that. Its a little brusque but its not out of malicious intent; they just want you in and out and for you to enjoy your meal.

Its about time I started to review pho places around Dallas, its a dish that I am very passionate about and its despite allot of opinion it takes allot of craft and love to make, properly. Pho Bang is one of the Dallass stalworth Vietnamese restaurants that has been around before Dallas has hit its stride for growth and everyone from every coast started to move here. It still remains to be cash only and the cliental is predominantly Vietnamese. this is the place where older generation still can be seen cooking in the kitchen and families and their friends are seen dining. As far as the food is concerned, is it the best pho? No, probably not, but it is absolutely one of the better bowls in Dallas. Its priced correctly, the flavors are there, its made with care and you get more then ample amount of food. This place holds a special place in my heart, its one of those places that I will take all of my friends that are not familiar with Vietnamese cuisine and or a good bowl of pho.

It wasn t too bad of a wait. The staff was very friendly and understood our order. Because it was so busy, the tables weren t as clean as we would like it and some of the utensils ran out and weren t restocked yet. The food was great, but nothing special that would make us come back any time soon, since we live 40-45 minutes away. My girlfriend and I had lunch here and had an overall good experience as far as service goes, though our server completely missed an item I ordered (she spoke very little English, so there may have been a misunderstanding). I had the pork vermicelli which was good, but honestly nothing to really write home about. Its a bit over-priced for the portion you get. The Google menu pricing doesnt reflect their current pricing (menu items priced at $5.75 are more like $10-$11.) In a nutshell, the food was decent and the service was good; but Id rather go somewhere like Bistro B for a much bigger portion for about the same price ¯\_( )_/¯

Wanted some pho and saw that this restaurant had good reviews. I don t want to be disrespectful to anothers culture but if you do not speak Vietnamese this is not the place to go. The pho we received was missing many ingredients. Ultimately, we did not like the pho and it did not taste like other pho i ve have. The waitress was nice through the ordering process but when we told her we didn t like the food she became very angry. She kept yelling at us and other workers and no one could understand what we were saying. Eventually another customer stepped in to translate as the cashier didn t know how to put our order into the register and was trying to make us pay for things we didn t order.

Recommended by my nail technician in Flower Mound. She said although this is in Garland, far from FM, this is where she usually comes for the best pho. When I went, it was about 10 am, mostly all Vietnamese ppl eating. Definitely the best pho!! It was really good. As for the Summer roll/shrimp roll, I like Pasteur II s.
