This is one of my husband & I s go to places - we often get two meals and share it. We love the farmhouse biscuits, berry dream french toast, and the southwest burrito. Anything with the cilantro jalapeño salsa or the berry coulis is delicious.

We were recommended this spot by a local and WOW are we glad we listened! The cafe itself is adorable and spacious, and all the servers were incredibly kind and personable. They had so many yummy coffee options but we both stuck with the house blend drip which was very good. We tried the pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin French toast, and a breakfast taco, and everything was so delicious. The French toast and pancakes weren t overly sweet and had a nice touch of pumpkin along with the nuts sprinkled on top, and the taco was generously filled! There were a ton of options for breakfast and their lunch menu looked really good too!

Fantastic place and food! A little pricey but the place is great! 2ND VISIT UPDATE: I totally understand the nearly 1 hour wait for a table because hands down, the food is fantastic! However, the 1 hour and 15 minute wait for our food after we placed our order has nearly caused us to second guess our visit or possible return. A little over 2 hours hours from start to food on the table is a bit more of a turnoff and disappointment!

Seven Mile Cafe in Denton offers a delightful dining experience with flavorful dishes that justify the price tag, though it s worth noting that the prices are about $3-4 higher than comparable places. The menu features a variety of well-prepared options, each bursting with taste. The café s ambience is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Whether youre there for brunch or a casual dinner, the combination of good food and a pleasant atmosphere makes it worth a visit, even with the slightly higher price point.

Update: Much better on 2nd visit. Burgers were sizable & the sourdough bun was unexpectedly good. Still, its crazy-busy & so noisy you cant hear yourself think, much less have a conversation. (2 yrs ago) Was not impressed. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and hash browns were not browned at all.. like a pile of shredded, boiled potatoes. The staff were very good, but we obviously made the mistake of going at a peak time. The crowd and noise level were horrendous.

I recently visited 7 Mile Cafe and was really looking forward to trying their Monkey Bowl. Unfortunately, when it arrived, my bowl was literally melted and resembled a soup. I showed the waitress and she seemed unbothered, simply saying I dont know without offering to remake the dish or even apologizing. To make matters worse, my toddler was clearly in need of napkins due to the mess, but I had to ask for them - only to receive them after what felt like an eternity. On top of that, my daughters kids meal eggs were also extremely mushy and unappetizing. For the price we paid, I expect better quality food and service. Unfortunately, our experience at 7 Mile Cafe fell short in both areas. I wouldnt recommend this cafe to anyone.

Airy modern farmhouse is the vibe at this breakfast and lunch spot. Visiting from out of town and family that lives in Denton recommended that we go on a Monday midday so we could have either breakfast or lunch with no crowd. Lunch starts at 11:00 a.m. if you want to enjoy the entire menu. Staff is friendly and quick to get you started with whatever coffee orders or other drinks you would like. I ordered the butter pecan latte, not all that decadent when you see the other drinks involving ice cream on the menu. So tempting! We came with specific things in mind to order. The Monte Cristo was a must have. The Almost Famous Cinnamon Roll was another. The Monte Cristo is a ham & cheese filled breakfast sandwich, dipped in French toast egg dip and deep fried golden and crisp. Served with a pot of blackberry compote and a pot of a vanilla cream, for sandwich dipping or spreading. This sandwich hits all the flavor notes perfectly. Definitely a place that I will come back to the next time I visit Denton! Parking: Fairly large parking lot, but on a busy weekend Im sure that it becomes more of a challenge. Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to bring the kids, they do have items that would appeal to the younger ones. Lots of space between the tables and room for high chairs. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, most of the restaurant is on one floor with plenty of room between tables to maneuver.

I wish they had some more keto or low carb items. Its a fantastic place to get a bit of a hipster brunch with the girls. The price is high for broke college kids but in fairness its mostlikely due to using more expensive ingredients. Overall always a solid choice on the weekend. I always order the loaded potatoes and they re delivered tender and fresh with the toppings mixed in well. Today I ordered this dish to go and received something completely different than what I expected. As you see in the photo, the potatoes look like they were saved from the previous day s service and cooked quite a bit too much on the griddle. The toppings were very lacking as well. This was a very disappointing takeout and I can t even eat the potatoes as they taste bitter and greasy.

Not a great visit. Have been to seven mile several times. This visit was dissapointing and not sure well be back. Waitress service was fine but the wait for our food once we ordered was 47 minutes. One way to avoid questions regarding the long wait time for food was to have your waitress dissapear, as she did. She was not in sight for 30 minutes. Once the food was delivered another dissapointment. Very dry cinnamon roll, mushy has browns, dry chicken/waffle and lack of flavor in the entre. Sad face emoji. It was 60+$ for just the two of us with no extras. (Two items on the receipt reflected a higher $ than listed on menu).

Food service 101 - bring all plates out at the same time. Customers dining together don t want to let their food get cold waiting on their spouse s dish or eat without them. Waiting ten minutes for the last plate at the same table is not good.

Got a flour capitola taco on flour, and that was the best breakfast taco of my life. We also got the Grand Stack Blueberry French Toast, which was also pretty good. The lattes were also very good, which I ve found is rare for breakfast places that do food instead of coffee. It was a good amount of food too. It was definitely expensive for tacos and a little expensive for a breakfast place. Felt very worth it while we were eating those tacos.

Definitely recommend. I ordered the Papas Racheras and was pretty specific about how i wanted my eggs prepared. When i asked for them to have the yolk consistency of a poached egg she said would you like them poached? When the dish came out the eggs were spot on. The entire dish was amazing all the way down to that pesto-like jalapeno sauce. The butter pecan latte was awesome and the fresh squeezed oj was really good. The bill didnt break the bank either. Very reasonable.

Had a wonderful experience. Staff was really nice and promptly delivered our food even though it was quite busy. Food was amazing and so was the coffee. Only downside is that its kinda pricey. Larger families may be looking at a 100$+ meal. But other than that its real good eating in Denton.

This place is okay. Nothing really unique that I noticed. The service ranged from mildly annoyed (the barista and host) to warm and friendly (Camron our server). I always get French toast at brunch places and theirs was pretty good. Its sort of caramelized but on one side was a little burnt. There were some things on the menu I would have liked to try, but the prices here are outrageous. It was $60 for 2 adults and a kid. And that didnt include my coffee which I ordered separately and was $4. We shared a cinnamon roll which was very pretty but a little dry and nothing to write home about. The building itself is neat, with dining downstairs as well as upstairs in a sort of panoramic dining room. The decor was music-themed like the rest of Denton, but with a mid-2000s Etsy aesthetic. It was also really crowded and hot in the dining room. Not sure why people cram themselves into this place, its just OK. I dont come to Denton too often but it seems like there must be better options. Oh wait! I almost forgot! The breakfast tacos are phenomenal. Overpriced, of course, but pretty delicious.

I feel mixed about this place. You can tell its well established and probably has been feeding the same clientele for years. We came on a Saturday for brunch around noon and it was busy with around 20 minutes wait. They use Yelp to manage their queue and that worked really well. Theres a coffee bar at the front where you can order with a barista. They have good coffee and the fancy drinks look good too. The barista reluctantly took my order for a to-go coffee while I waited for our table. It was $4. I gave him a $1 tip because he had to run back to the kitchen for heavy cream. (He made sure to let me know. ) We got sat and the hostess and server were both very nice, so no issue there. My biggest gripe is how expensive this place is. I guess its just me, because they have plenty of people lined up throwing money at them, but $18 for a breakfast burger feels silly. And thats a pretty typical price here. Service was average. Food was pretty good. Tacos were amazing but crazy expensive imo.

EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!!! The food and the atmosphere reminded me of Charleston, S.C. you have to try the French Toast with the berries, the grits loaded, the pancakes, the foor was amazing. I took away 1 star for the atmosphere because one of the upstairs restrooms was not so tidy. This is an above average breakfast, brunch, and lunch kinda place (food and price wise), so I expect tidy restrooms (everywhere, but more so from above average restaurants). However, Ill definitely be going back!!!

I was really excited to try this place, especially when a sign was posted Best in Denton. Ill start with saying the staff were very attentive and super nice. The atmosphere was very modern and lively. I ordered their regular coffee, and Applewood smoked bacon and eggs, hashbrowns and biscuit. How can that go wrong? My coffee was very bitter, I had to return it and ordered fresh pressed OJ, which was ok but pricey. The hashbrowns were soggy, flavorful but not crispy. The bacon was crisp but real small strips. I probably liked the bacon the best. The eggs were ordered overeasy but not done quite right. Never had overeasy be this watery. The biscuit was very dense. My husband has a single pancake and bacon. Same comment as above on the side of bacon, two little strips for $5. The pancake was meh according to my husband. Too bad, I had high expectations and was disappointed.
