Very excellent cheese burger and potato salad! The burgers were a lot bigger than I expected and they have really good sweet buns. Strongly recommend going here over nearby fast food if you can spend some time sitting down to enjoy the food and atmosphere. Parking: Lots of space and has takeout only spots

I went for lunch with a friend. Theres quite a bit of seating and the atmosphere was good. Our server was friendly. We both had the cheese burger which comes with steak fries. The burger was HUGE and super tasty. The fries were good as well. If youre looking for a really good burger and fries then this is a great place to check out.

Went for the second time. First time was about the same quality about 4 years ago.. The place has a 4.6 at the time of writing this. I ordered the Brunch Burger. The bun is like a Hawaiian roll flavor and very thick. The rest of the burger is more savory. It just didnt flow. Perhaps one of their other bun choices would go well. Sesame and wheat are available. Two of the four of us took the bun off and they ate it without. In general we spoke about the experience and determined we wont be returning.

Ive never been to an RGs burger place before, never in Denton either. But my first experience was not the best. It wasnt the service. It was nice and accommodating. It wasnt crazy expensive, 10 - 20 per person. I recommend the Paris Burger. Besides all of that, i was a bit disappointed. As soon I walked in, I took off my hoodie. Wow, what happened to the ac, sweating? Only fans are on (dont search it up only warning), and the food was... mid. Hotdog was over salted. Its either very dark or bright, and the worst part, the menus were dirty, and had water damage on the paper, like built up almost, I could see an orange splot. The floor is somewhat clean. And considering the burgers I recommend the children to eat the childs menu until theyre 18, thr burgers are big, and the meat bread ratio is bad, its also like the buns refuse to smush. I have eaten here many times but tonight was a swing and s big miss. Took my 88 year old mother who ordered chicken strips and crispy skinny fried . I ordered bacon cheese burger. My meal came out and the waitress said that there was a problem with the chicken so they were redoing it . Which took about 15 mins . My burger was on the burnt side . Moms chicken was very very dry , the fries were not crispy they were hardly cooked . Very disappointed specially after having many great meals there

We first visited here a few years ago and had a great experience. We decided to go back and give it another try over this past weekend. It was not crowded and we waited almost 15 minutes to get our drink order and 40 minutes to get our food. My husband ordered the chili burger and it was a small spoonful of chili as you will see in the pictures. The ketchup on the table burned our tongue because it had been sitting there for a while to where the vinegar was the only thing you could taste. My burger was burnt and too hard to eat. Not worth the $$$ spent.

Your prices just went up yet again!!! For 2 grilled chicken sandwhichs and 1 order of fries and 1 coke totaled 33.00 and 5.00 for a tip ... total 38.00. Im sorry but those grilled chicken sandwhiches are not that great... We will not ever come back! Hot dog was mediocre. My wife s burger was severely overcooked. We asked for a replacement due to it being overcooked. When we got the check, we were charged for both burgers because she ate some of it. Obviously she had to take a couple bites to get to the patty. I asked for a manager and a manager never showed up. The waitress kept giving us a side eye for the remainder of our visit. Would not recommend this place.

2nd visit just to make sure it was as good as the first time. Everything is delicious! Burgers, fries, onion rings, chili, spices, sauces, macaroni salad, sweet tea and the buns are fabulous! We will return soon and explore more menu options Update: they no longer cook the burger patties to suit your preference. All are apparently cooked well done, which is very disappointing. The texture and taste of the burger is totally different and not appealing to me at all. I ll have to find another burger place.

We have loved this place for years, but their new policy of not cooking the burgers except to medium well or well done is the closing door for me. I do not like a dry and flavorless burger; I can get that at the golden arches. I come to a gourmet burger shop to get a gourmet burger. The waitress aid it was a new week-old policy, something to do with the cook staff. My guess is there were too many refused burgers because the cooks couldnt get the orders right...but that is just my speculation. Rodeo Goat is going to be our go-to now (unless we hear the policy has changed back). The staff is always friendly and great, and the atmosphere is old school (not fussy or fancy, just welcoming and weathered... We like it!). The menu options are plentiful and the rest of their food is usually pretty good. But when a burger is $12-16, it ought to be done individually, not chain-industry standard assembly line output. Just my two cents.

I was prepared to write an awesome review about RGs. So first, the service was perfect! Our waiter, unfortunately I dont remember his name, was very helpful & informative. My husband and I ordered chili cheese tots as an appetizer. Those were delicious and nice to share. I was disappointed that they didnt have diet coke..?! Only Coke Zero. Not the same. Diet Coke fans will understand. The sweet tea was decent, if it wouldve been cold. The onion rings are PERFECT! So good, I couldve eaten just that! My husband got the Spicy Fried Pickles. I didnt care for them, but he enjoyed them. With all those sides, we saved our burgers to take home. My biggest complaint is that when we got home to eat our burgers, they were dry. I specifically asked about condiments, we both ordered our burgers with mayo. So, I had to add it myself. Also ordered onions and tomato that were not on my burger. All in all, it was good. I appreciate good service! I dont think the the waiter was the problem, maybe the kitchen. The food was good, just not how I ordered it.

I took my son here because we wanted to try something new. First walking, the aroma of the grill, the presentation of the restaurant gave the cozy but backyard in Texas feel. I imagine this style of place would be a stop for guy fieri on his show. An excellent experience for just the simplicity of it all. The burger was thick, and juicy. Their chili was simple but on point to complement the patty. Steak fries were crispy but not over done. RG Burgers is doing it right. Had the spicy burger. I asked for medium rare and it was well done. Not a fan of pickled jalapeños so they really clashed with the burger, picked them off but they still left a vinegar aftertaste. Fresh jalapeños would have made it so much better, or roasted green chili. The burger also needs more seasoning in the meat. My sweet potatoes fries I paid extra for were extremely limp. Disappointing for a restaurant with such high ratings.

The employees could call me ugly and throw stuff at me and I d still come back because their ka-ching burger is the best spicy burger I ve ever had and it s not even close. Whatever black magic they do on these burgers is working 10/10 burger. I would actually sell my soul for their spicy burger pepper sauce. So GOOD.

If you re a seasoning rack looking for a place to call home, keep on moving. This is not the place for you. Burgers tasted like they were cooked, and that s about it. I wanted to like it, but the best part about coming here was being able to write this review and warn others.

Best burger in town. Ive been in TX almost 20 years and my dad is a butcher. We always had the best meat growing up. This meat stands out. I hope this helps. Yes. $15 burgers but worth it.

My favorite burger in the meteoplex. I always get the Brunch Burger with a fried egg and bacon. Little expensive but when you want to treat yourself it is worth it. Bottomless steak fries are also great.

Its been years since I have been there. It great to see things are still as good as they where the last time I was there. When I was there I took on King Kong. I am happy to say that I took down the King. The food there is awesome. If you are driving near or threw Denton TX you really need to stop at RGs.

Large amount of options at this place, the staff was very friendly, and they always checked in on you if you needed anything. Regarding the food it was fresh and tasted delicious. Fills you up and gives you a perfect bang for your buck. Best part is there is a lot of parking nearby, so you wont have trouble finding a spot. Burger was 8/10 for taste which is really good as Im a burger connoisseur. Overall would like to come back as they have many different options. I went with the safe bet of the normal cheeseburger. The fries were fresh and tasted like real potatoes.

Good service, though the food took long to come out. The burgers are quite large and the taste is okay, but it may not satisfy a deep savory craving. The atmosphere is lacking -- without music or kitchen sounds, the dining area is quiet enough to feel awkward. Kid-friendliness: They offer kid portions, but no crayons and activity sheets.

I always get the Ka Ching Burger, the last 2 times I do feel as tho it hasnt been as hot as it used to be. Still a good burger but def. seems to be lacking that kick. Might just be me tho and it wont keep me from bringing work friends here for lunch.

Loved this place. My husband had the King Kong, It was enormous with 5 quarter pounders and a huge portion of steak fries. If you eat it all in 30 minutes, you win a prize and get your picture on the wall. My husband was not able to eat it all, so we took home a huge doggie bag. I had the Chicago style dog, and it was amazing.
