The place was pretty empty, but it was mid week around 2p. The menu shows theres a happy hour for food starting at 2p but the waitress told us theres no HH menu when we tried to order. We showed her the menu via the QR code you scanned, but she said shes never seen it. The wings were really good. Service was good, but near the end, we had to go to the bar to ask for drinks we ordered that we never got and go back to ask for our check. Again, the place was pretty empty about 5 total customers. I think they sometimes get caught up talking to regulars and forget about other customers. Overall, Id go back. Go try it out! Parking: Parked at a meter right on the side street of the building.

Hospitality is top-notch. Love the fact that theyre not biased on other sports teams. Multiple times Ive been here and had no problem catching an Astros or Eagles game here. Definitely my go-to when working in Dallas.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere too, I regret not being able to say the same about the service we received yesterday, where we were clearly discriminated against for being Mexican, the American who served us was not only rude but he actually discriminated against us, he requested a card when we had not yet finished the consumption and kept it until he closed the account as if we were going to rob them. The food is truly delicious and the atmosphere of the tavern is very good but yesterday this man ruined everything. You are the owner of a friendly business, serving people must be your passion although you struggle to communicate with them... nothing to do with the treatment of José who is a wonderful owner, he makes you feel welcome and is warm, shame about the other manager or owner. I know you are, but your treatment is terrible, at least I wont come back if that man is serving alone there.

We were attending a concert at the Presbyterian Church nearby so we decided to give Harwood Tavern a try since it was walkable. The vibe was awesome as soon as we walked in . Great music was playing. The bartender greeted us and provided us with his favorites on the menu. The food was amazing! We ordered a burger with sweet potato fries and a Rueben with tots. Good beer selection and wine was also available. Don t miss this place if you are downtown.

Wedding after-party spot 10/10. It was perfect because it was walkable from our downtown venue & our guests hotels + had a DJ taking requests + tables to sit and mingle + served food late + served drinks + dart boards + pool table + one of the few bars open until 2 AM! Most people walked back to their hotels or took a cheap uber! Highly recommend Harwood Tavern for an after-party spot!

I saw the lunch special online and decided to stop in. I sat at the bar. Bar tender didn t give me the lunch menu - I had to ask for it. She seemed to be bothered that I was there. The general manager insinuated that I was racist for asking him to turn down the music despite my not having referenced the genre of music being played nor the ethnicity of the people who chose the music on the jukebox. I was also told that he didnt appreciate my aggressive approach which, while I fully understand and respect his right to perceive things the way he does, I didnt appreciate as a patron who was frustrated at having to shout quite loudly across the table to have a conversation with my family. The food is mediocre fare that you can get at any cheap bar or pub, so if thats your thing, this is your place. Im going to slightly amend my review in light of some of the more recent reviews. All Ill say to the more cultured and errudite reviewers is: look at who is giving this place five stars

I came into this place wasted my wife even asked the server not to serve me and she gave me 2 of the strongest drinks I ever had brings me my card and told me she took a 20 percent tip. I recently visited Harwood Tavern after a recommendation and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. I ordered a single shot on the rocks of a specific drink and it was amazing because the bar tender took the time out to specifically look for my drink and I m so happy. I sat outside and it s nice and cozy. Despite the disturbance from the park across the stree, it was still very nice experience. Plus, I was on a tour with Taylor which made it even better because I got to hear about some history and old folks tales about this tavern as well. Go visit today.

Im a simple man with simple pleasures. My top two are beer and darts and let me tell you... Finding an actual dartboard in Dallas was a MISSION! One that I was willing to accept! I went to a bunch of bars up and down the main downtown strip and finally found this diamond in the ruff! Beer was cheap and quick to be placed in my hand and the bar had a great vibe! Apologies for almost stabbing the bar staff as they walked close to my target. Ps. These were proper darts boards (albeit tired) not that soft tip nonsense boards that I see everywhere these days!

There s not to many sport bars or bars in the area so we came here. The staff was really nice, though and I was presently surprised by how good the drinks were. The staff was really nice as well! I was also happy with the brisket and fries! I really enjoyed the blue lights behind the liquors, it was a great environment touch, love it! The only thing I would suggest it a separate screen with a beer menu because we had to wait 5 minutes for the menu to come around between all the different slides.

Very happening spot to end up for the night. Even though it was late the food was still good sand the service was outstanding. I did see some people that were reserving some outside tables but it was just too cold for us that night. There was really no bad seats in the house.

Went on a Friday for Karaoke and it was amazing. The hide was great. The BAR staff were singing too. The DJ kept the party going. . Drinks were A1 and the food was good too. Highly recommend karaoke night. . Oh yea, the REGULARS made me feel right at home and want become a regular!!

Great staff!!! Only reason this not 5 stars is because of the lack of the Sunday ticket for NFL games. Sunday bar crew is one of the best though!! Food is really good also!! Happy to update:)

Amazing and friendly venue. Joe, Julio and Stephanie made us feel comfortable from when we first arrived. Came in for one drink and stayed for 4ish hours. Love this bar and will be back. Good food and drinks!

Horrible! I will never go back, I just left, I ordered the Harwood burger which was raw on the inside (all pink) and I asked for well done, he assured me it was well done, the fries were cold mind u he said 17min I live 3 min away so my food should have been hot wen I arrived to p/u. I also order a chicken sandwich which was also cold w/ cold fries. I didnt discover all this until I walked back home. I called and told them all he said was he was sorry. Horrible experience I do not recommend at all. And I was definitely hungry still is after not being able to eat a raw burger anything thats red in it is raw. I wouldnt go back here on my hungriest day.

Its a down to earth dive tucked in a great spot! The staff are laid back and efficient. Only thing is I think I was told it was a Carolina Panthers bar . Doesnt matter the Bears fans will take over! Oh and karaoke on fridays!

The brisket fries... omg. Im seriously about to start making a weekly 3 hour drive from okc just to come back and get these fries. Tom and every other bartender at this place is super friendly and cool. Great spot downtown, I highly recommend. The Dallas blonde is also great
