Enjoyed the museum as a whole, but after paying $25 a person to get in, we tried to buy over $100 worth of stuff from the gift shop. After ringing us up, the cashier informed me they dont have bags, but could sell me one for $5. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not return.

The Perot Museum was incredible! It was an unforgettable experience for our kids, and they still cant stop talking about everything they saw. With so much to explore and do, we could have easily spent the entire day there. I highly recommend taking your kids to experience all the excitement it offers.

We got to experience Perot for the first time yesterday for the Thursdays on Tap event, we loved the museum itself and this event is such a great idea for adults, but Im leaving 4 stars in hopes someone will see this suggestion: Please consider asking the belligerent drunk adults to leave if they get out of hand. Part of the joy of a 21+ event is no kids...but when there are groups of adults that you can hear screaming worse than children *on every floor of the museum*, then at that point it maybe needs to be said that they cant handle their alcohol in public and should be asked to either keep it together, or leave, because honestly that really really took away from the experience for everyone else there. We were not the only ones side-eyeing the behavior. We actually didnt get to see the entire museum because of this. I know youre not supposed to go into things with expectations, but I gotta tell people if youre expecting a quiet night of adults who can handle their liquor enjoying a museum, this event is not that. More drunk frat house/college kids, wild party type vibes. I know thats at no fault at the museum, but when theres security standing around talking and hearing/seeing this we just arent sure why they were never spoken to. People were visibly uncomfortable but no one ever spoke to the problem folks. Please dont let one or two groups of horrifically drunk fully grown adults ruin a child free evening for everyone else paying. Thank you

A must visit museum, especially for kids, the dinosaur exhibit is our favorite. The bottom floor has an indoor play area, and the front entrance has a nice seating area. (Is Not a bring your kids in a bathing suit zone. ). The dinner area feels very simple and small. Defenetly go during the week is pretty empty.

Place is good. Good amount of exhibits but couple areas of improvement: elevators take a considerable time to get there, forcing you to basically go thru stairs all over the place; one or two of the exhibits could have some more interactive attractions and cafe was overwhelmed. Still, it is enjoyable. Loved the temporary T-Rex exhibit!

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas is a captivating destination for curious minds of all ages. With its striking modern architecture, the museum is as impressive outside as it is inside. The exhibits cover a wide range of topics, from dinosaurs and space exploration to geology and human biology. Interactive displays make learning fun and engaging, especially for kids, while adults can appreciate the depth of information and hands-on experiences. The museum s 3D films and special exhibits keep things fresh and exciting. It s the perfect spot for a family day out or anyone with a passion for science and discovery.

Lots of bathrooms with changing tables in mens bathrooms. Childrens area in the lower level for younger kids and a sports area for older kids. The kids and adults enjoyed the whole museum though. Great museum with multiple floors, each having a different topic (Space, biology, weather etc.) and their own interactive activities. Highly recommend going to the Thursdays on Tap if you are looking for an adults only 21+ time to explore the museum. There are multiple food trucks, live music, and alcohol. This is also a prime time with the museum being way less crowded and giving adults a chance to explore at their leisure. We had the chance to check out the Pixar and current T-Rex exhibits which were awesome.

The museum itself is great, however, getting our lost wallet back has been a different story. The day the wallet was lost, we called the museum and they told us it had been turned in and was in their possession. Since we were out of town visitors, they told us they would mail it to us (which was great!) Unfortunately, we have never received it nor can we get a straight forward answer from anyone at the museum. I m not sure what next steps are at this point.

It s easy to spend 3+ hours here and still not explore everything, so I recommend coming early. I also think that purchasing the Membership is worth it bc not only do you get the perks listed on the website, but also you get to add up to 8 additional members AND receive free access to over 400 other museums all over the USA. How amazing is that?? 5 stars.

The food here is disgusting. Go to Taqueria La Ventana (connected to Meso Maya next door to El Fenix) & they could dust a lot more here the featured exhibitions are dusty. Especially the lights & artistic features hanging from ceilings that you can look down upon is pretty gross just thinking what your inhaling unknowingly. Staff are pretty friendly. Member review: I grow less fond of the Perot each time I visit. It s in desperate need of some sort mechanical overhaul. I was part of the original team that built this place and perhaps have spent one too many times walking up the stairs here, but as a paying member, having broken escalators and elevators is becoming tiring. A lot of the interactive exhibits are also showing their age, falling apart or just broken. I ve been to other museums that flow and breathe a lot better.

Lots of interactive activities for the kids and adults to participate in. And there is a toddler museum for 5 and under. Great museum for all ages.

Very good museum. For children there are many activities. For adults I think the best thing is its excellent mineral room. Although this one lacks a brief introduction to crystal networks so that the public understands why minerals form like this. Highly recommended.

Super fun! There is so much to do! We went in at 11:15 am and left at 4:15 and the whole time we were looking at or doing something new and having fun. Highly highly recommend this place.

Going on adults only night was the absolute best experience of my life. I have been to this museum many times with my little cousins and it s so fun, but going during adult night where adult beverages were sold and everyone 21+, so fun and there s not screaming tiny humans everywhere as well. Honestly recommend going for adult night if you are able to!
