It s often hard to find help when needed but today Mr. Ken saw the perplexed look on my face after trying to get an associate to assist me with retrieving a trimmer that was locked away. The moment I gave up and proceeded to leave he came to my rescue. Thank you Ken for your awesome customer service. Wish there was more like you.

Bought a dryer from this store (in store from an associate) he had to order it for us to be delivered. Said if damaged or not what we want return in 48hrs to store. 2 weeks later it was delivered it was not as described the delivery driver (3rd party driver - Not employee of Home Depot) said I would have to bring back to store I bought it from. Went to the store tonight 24 hours after receiving I was informed by the Asst. Manager that Home Depot doesn t take any appliance back once purchase you need to call a manufacturer and sense it was bought online I couldn t . I then said I did not buy online and my receipt shows an in store purchase I understand you had to order but this was a one on one employee and customer transaction. She then said she could take it back but would cost me a %20 restocking fee!!! I was very upset you can imagine $80.00 I just lost because of made up (I bought online) when I purchase at store so I said fine just give me my money charge me whatever . She then says I can t never mind would have to call corporate it to be able but that can take up 48 hours my fiancée then told the asst. manager to go ahead a call . We waited ahead got on phone talking very low to whom ever is on the other line to then about 6 mins later said ok it s done sign here I got you a refund . They took an additional $86.66 for restocking .. which is ridiculous Big red flag is that she open closed register and then receipt said $86.66 (cash) on the refund I didn t receive any cash She told me this was the restocking fee I have a Home Depot credit card and business account (spend thousands on) with Home Depot as for them they will be canceled (both) and Lowe s will be my store 100% moving forward .. Asst. Manager - F Customer Service - F Overall never wanted to help me . I spend thousands in Home Depot and you lost an overall customer Do not recommend Home Depot as a whole and for the ones that no matter what they help your needs I do not recommend this store Hope corporate looks into why my receipt said cash on refund when I never received that. And investigates this store as a whole and its managers towards customers

This place is 100% a waste of time. Order from Amazon!!! Their staff does not care if they make a sale or not. Every time I try to buy local I get so aggravated, because they have nothing I need. And the place is so disorganized. This was my last trip to this place. Wonder why big box stores are slowly failing. Visit this place and see first hand. 9/6/24 do not purchase any appliances from this place. I tried to make an online purchase of a dishwasher. That went fine, until their crew arrived and said they can t do it. We re talking 3 connections for a dishwasher. I was the last house on their route. I can only assume they were tired. So now Home Depot has a dishwasher with miles on it. They got to take it back to the store. I swear, I try to hit the easy button and get burned every damn time. Never again with this dump. I don t care how close they are.

The ONLY reason Im not giving zero stars is because of the nice check out girl. If it wasnt for the nice employees. This store would lose alot of business. The entire wood/lumber section is absolutely trash. They are charging $50+ for a sheet of MDF and this is how they are stored and sold. They all have been wet and they are all broken on the edges. And anyone knows that once mdf gets wet, it swells and its garbage after that.

Chris at 12730 W Lake Houston Pkwy assisted me in the Electrical section, and he understood immediately the product I described, which was a Wi-Fi Extender. Went to this location to get 10 bags of Mulch. Called the main number to get assistance in grabbing the bags only to be told that no one was available in the Garden center to help me. So pissed finally getting all bags loaded 30 mins later. Went to the checkout in Garden. That young man Fred went above and beyond to ensure he found someone to load the bags in my truck. Nick showed up and apologized for the wait and began to load the bags. Now take in mind that s not the department he works in. Whom ever does the scheduling at this location no longer needs a job. As a store manager it s known that you should have at least 3 people per department to close. I m very upset. To the young men that helped me. I thank you both. Your customer service is greatly appreciated. Store Manager you need to be retrained.

Seriously, dont ask for help just go climb the shelves. We needed some help to get some totes down from a 3rd level shelf. Went to customer service, they called someone to help. Waited in the aisle and when an associate showed up, we were told they were busy with complicated orders and someone would eventually help us. Why did they even bother showing up? While waiting for 15 minutes for someone to help, I find the same associate gabbing at the front talking about their complicated order to others. Someone did show up after while, used a forklift to get the totes down and we checked out. It would have been faster to drive to the Humble location and get them ourselves.

OMG, they take forever to send someone to help you with anything. Ive been here lots of times, and its always the same thing. The last time I came here was to get some stuff for my bathroom sink. There was no one around, so I headed over to the registers to ask for help. The lady paged the associates on the speaker to ask for assistance. She told me someone would be with me shortly. So I returned to the aisle and waited for 5, 10, 15 minutes. No one showed up. I told the same lady about this, and she paged the associates again. Finally, someone came after 5 minutes only to tell me they didnt carry what I was looking for. This is ridiculous. I dont know if theyre short-staffed, but they always make you wait for a long time.

Ordered 12,000 in appliances only for the installers to scratch them and damage the dryer vent in the install , I will take my business down the street to lows now that I have to repair the pipe they bent out of wack and the hook up they split down the middle and stuck tape over. I came in today looking for 2 pieces of stuff , one item was on the very top shelf needed someone to get it down , I found a nearby employee I asked for assistance to get the item down from top shelf , the guy kept questioning my knowledge. Acting like just because I m a female it s okay to question my knowledge , kept insultingly made it seem I didn t know absolutely anything , didn t even get what I asked for down , I had to go back to the front to ask someone to send a manager , took them 15 mins to do so , and when a manager came come to find out , it s the same guy who kept insulting my knowledge. When I came in asking for something I did not ask you to insult me , I m asking you to do your job and plain & simple get my item down from the very top shelf . Horrible management. I recommend you guys find new management because the one you have now is incredibly rude , insulting & does not do their jobs. Had me in the store for a little over an hour just to grab 2 items to go. No more than that. A hour trip should have taken me only 15-20max mins to get in and out. And this is given the store was NO WHERE NEAR BUSY. I won t be coming back here. Find new management for the sake of people.

Juan that worked in the gardening dept on today, was a great help to me. I had several items that I was searching for he anticipated my needs just by observation without me asking and looked each one up patiently on his inventory machine without complaint. Good customer service is hard to find and I m so appreciative of it when it s given freely and genuinely. And to top it off on my way out I saw him again and he asked if I would like help unloading my cart. I am very enthused by his eagerness to help each customer. This Home Depot is always busy when I visit,the store is always clean and most of what Im looking for is available. I would like to see them make it to where getting keys cut is a simpler process. Compared to Lowes where it doesnt require any customer employee interaction. On this trip an employee who is skilled in key cutting was in the immediate area so there was no long wait.

Been shopping here for the past five years. Staff are friendly and helpful (though on occasion it has been a little hard to find one when I couldnt find an item). They are good about taking returns when I buy the wrong parts. Self checkout is easy, so you dont have to wait in line for a cashier. The main aisle gets a little crowded with all their promotional displays, but I dont mind much since I like to look at tools... Our favorite thing is the FREE kids workshop on the first Saturday of each month. The staff for the kids workshops are great! Great opportunity for the kids to learn basic building skills like hammering, using a screwdriver, and following the instructions. And my kids love to collect the pins they get when they complete the project.

Rented a drain auger. Broken attachments. I had it for 2 of the 4 hours. Staff wasnt rude, but it kept tripping my exterior outlet. In return, management said if worked on their outlet, I wouldnt receive a refund. Waste of 67$. I d like to give praise to a summer wood Home Depot employee at store 1832 .His name is Chris Cervantes .This young man is the greatest example of dynamic customer service . I am a marine wife of a disable vet . I was in look of a storage building to make room in garage to store medical equipment as my husband was going thru hospice that day .Chris helped me first with Home Depot storage but it didn t fit my need,but he didn t give up and suggested another company.He was so kind and informative on the information .Now note I ve been trying for a year to find one and Lowes refused to help me or even go online to help me . But Chris took time to explain it to me a senior . He didn t know I had a bad morning trying to deal with hospice for my husband .But he helped me purchase a building. He answered my questions and just was the best experience I had that day by him giving detail to the need of a customer. So i literally just left this store and I m extremely disappointed . Upon walking in i greeted by a few store employees which was great but once i got in trying to gather the items i needed It was like everyone went ghost. I was trying to find some wood to construct a rack . I kind of figured out what i needed but needed some wood to be cut. No one in sight. I even asked a worker if she could get someone to come over and i waited and waited and nobody came. I swear i was in the store 30-45 minutes and just decided to leave. I don t know if this location is short staffed but y all need to work on customer service

If I could give 0 stars I would. We were told free delivery and installation on a dishwasher so we went home to get exact measurements drove back to the store and was then told $180 for installation and the guy that told us free installation just looked at us and said I could have been wrong. We went somewhere else!

I came here after literally wasting over 1 hour waiting at the Market Street Home Depot... It was absolutely impossible to find someone that knew how to go into their computer system and place a custom window order!?! I finally gave up on the Market Street location and made the drive here... It was spectacular! I walked in, quickly found a worker that was friendly and knowledgeable. I got my custom windows ordered without any hassle! I couldnt be happier. thanks!

I was at the store Im a pro I found a tub I was with my customer an I was gonna buy it I had pickup everything for my project an races customer service in both end of line tub had crack and was told I was getting 75$off from a employee and at line was deny told 50$ is not about the money I was embarrassed infront of my customer made me look bad after I spend 1000$ of dollars here an everyday homedepo manager should be fired I had post a pick about this issue Hispanic Not f friendly

First things first I wish I could give zero stars! My husband and I went to this store to buy a new hot water heater. The girl in the plumbing department had no idea what my husband was talking about when he asked her a question. Then we finally got up to the checkout the girl had no idea what their return policy was. My question here is how do you hire people to work in a hardware store that know absolutely nothing about it? These people are just young ignorant rich kids. We are very disappointed in our shopping. experience!
