Stuck overnight at DFW due to American Airlines grand Hyatt was in the perfect location. Reservation and check in as a Hyatt member with the app was a breeze. Fast, efficient, courteous staff that make you feel valued. Nice cozy spacious rooms. Only small complaint is the 24 hour room service needs beefed up a little for late check ins. Noteworthy details: TSA checkpoint not even 25 yards from the escalator that exits the lobby. Big plus in my opinion, and is what partially drew me to staying instead of ubering down the street to a cheaper hotel.

Every single employee couldn t have been nicer or more friendly! Front desk staff was super welcoming & helpful. Room service was delicious and came so quickly, like 30 minutes?! Location at airport is ideal. Room was very clean. Mustafa at Valet is perhaps the most lovely person ever! Our stay in DFW wasn t planned but we got to enjoy a wonderful weekend all the same thanks to this Hyatt!

After reading all the reviews I thought I was going to be staying at the Four Seasons equivalent of airport hotels. Sadly I was in for a disappointment. First the positive. The hotel is very convenient that it is located within the airport. A quick Air train ride one or two stops and youre literally and escalator away from the lobby. At checkout, all I had to do was walk downstairs, go through security and jump back on the air train to my gate. Very very convenient. I was there for a conference and the food they offered I thought was very good. Well cooked and good options. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room it was very dark, like pitch black dark. You automatic shades help with the natural light, but that doesnt help with the low light in the bathrooms or the very dark tile that gives the room a very dated aesthetic. I dont know about you but I do like a little light in my bathroom to help with shaving and other things. Shower itself was, in my opinion, terrible. The shower head was old and rusty and only trickled the water out. They need to replace that shower head immediately. There was hardly any water pressure. The bed wasnt bad but the pillows were rock hard which made me wake up with a stiff neck. That, combined with an AC unit that could not stay cold, made my night sleep horrible. Finally, the nail in the coffin was the television stations. I want to know whos bright idea was it to subscribe to a television service does that does not have one business channel to offer. No CNBC, no Fox Business or Bloomberg. How could you have a hotel, which presumably has a lot of business travelers, not have one business channel to turn on to? Ridiculous. All in all, this is nothing more than an airport hotel. Dont expect anything extravagant here but if youre looking for a quick night sleep during a layover this will do its job.

Stopped by the Grand Hyatt for lunch with my Mother durning her long layover. food was great! We had two individuals serving us, the older gentleman with dark hair pleasant and nice, as for the other one (blonde ish grey hair white man) was not so pleasant. He seemed pretty bothered by serving us, a couple and and a mother an son sat next to us and he was joyful while greeting them and even ask them about their travel plans, my mother and I did not get that same energy! We were polite the entire time, but it was unfortunate that we were treated differently. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but my mother and I most definitely didn t feel welcome. Overall, we enjoyed our food and did not let his attitude ruin our lunch.

Upgraded to a beautiful room (loyalty at Hyatt is well rewarded as opposed to IHG or Marriott). Conveniently located at D gates at DFW. Highly recommend!!!

First off for the record I never review. My flight to New York was canceled and booked this place on the fly.. Amenities room etc were lovely and clean, but it is Lamand at reception (apologies if misspelled ) that is the reason I m prompted to review. Hands down the most hospitable, warmest, kindest person who made me feel well taken care of in the middle of what was externally a hard night for me with change of transit etc. Anyway he s the best a deserves the world, thank you for making this unfamiliar experience well worth it. Our family arrived unexpectedly due to airline issues and canceled flights. My daughter was becoming very sick and we needed to get somewhere safe and quiet for her and her brother. They understood we couldnt leave the hotel due to my daughters illness and helped us with toiletries and room service. We will NEVER stay anywhere but a Hyatt!

I used the roof pool and gym which were clean and not crowded on my visit. Would stay here again on business trips.

We ended up making an unplanned reservation at Grand Hyatt DFW after we missing our connecting flight. After a horrible day, Deanna made is so much better by being extremely welcoming and getting us checked in quickly. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we need. She found us a room with an engaging view for my kids and recommended her favorites from the room service menu. If were ever back at DFW we will definitely be staying at Grand Hyatt DFW.

I spent a night at this excellent hotel that is right in terminal D in the airport after my flight was cancelled and my luggage was lost. They offered me all sort of facilities (toothpaste, toothbrush, snacks, food...) so that I could have the smoothest experience. Deanna, from guest assistance, really made my day after terrible experience with American Airlines. Excellent customer service. The room lived up to the expectations too, well equipped with everything you would think of.

One of the pathetic stay and services from hyatt brand. Didnt expected that people in hyatt will be downgrading the food quality this much. The dinning area which is grand met that area feels like too old and rustic as if u came to the motels of 90s. Food taste is below average. Whats the point of paying 90$ if i am not getting a good taste and good quality of food. Didnt expected this from grand hyatt. Waste of money. I clearly suggest the readers as well that please choose a second option but dont stay or dine in here.

After a horrific day of multiple canceled, rebooked and delayed flights all i wanted (and definitely needed) was a place to rest my head. The Grand Hyatt DFW was like a beacon in the night, especially since it was right at the airport.. They say you never have a second chance to make a first impression and the Grand Hyatt did not disappoint. It started with the very professional and kind front desk agent Kaylan , followed by the friendly bar lounge staff who recommended a delicious Cabernet. And culminated with a great night sleep in the beautiful, clean and very comfortable room. After an exhausting day filled with travel frustrations I could not have picked a better place to rest and refresh. Highly recommend. * i had so enjoyed the Cab and was disappointed i had forgotten the name. So I called Grande Hyatt and spoke to Allison who kindly offered to find out for me and did!! If thats not going above and beyond for a guest I dont know what is

Ive spoken in 80 cities per year for over 12 years. Ive stayed in over 1,000 hotels in all 50 States. Therefore, I have some street cred regarding what Im about to share with you. The Grand Hyatt is... well... GRAND!!! The front desk staff were great. The room was clean, beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant was fantastic!!! Marcos Berumen, Executive Steward, runs a delightful eatery. He doesnt hide from his customers. He is working right beside his staff helping to please his customers. Colton Foster, Chef de Cuisine, makes sure that every meal melts in your mouth and delights your palette. I ate four days of meals in the restaurant and every meal was beyond perfect. Mikey, bartender, always served the perfect beverage. Unlike other bar tenders, Mikey doesnt water down your drinks. The beverages were wonderful, tasted great, and were relaxing to the soul. In short, out of 1,000+ hotels that Ive stayed at over the years, I cant think of a better hotel to sleep, eat, drink, or relax in. I recommend the Grand Hyatt 1,000%!!! Ive never stayed in a better hotel. Thank you to everyone who works there. Sincerely, Dr. Matthew A. Johnson Licensed Clinical Psychologist

The front desk staff went above and beyond by getting us more towels when we requested it, made sure our rooms were adjoining. All the airports restaurants are behind the airports security gates and no establishment in the adjoining area seems to deliver.

Couldnt be better located. Large, clean rooms with large television. As a point to improve, on the access stairs there was a sign that indicated that the price was $145 per night, which was not per room but per person (+ taxes as is usual in the US), so it was a little confusing and came out more expensive than expected. When we arrived in Dallas we missed the connection due to bad weather, like many other people, so the hotel was full, so after spending hours in the terminal we went up to the hotel at approximately 8 am, they allowed us to stay in the lobby and finally We checked in and entered the room at 10:30 am. Great point on the part of the hotel to be able to advance the check-in time.

The artisanal pasta surprised me with the flavors. Who would have thought pickles in pasta could go to together? Also the English House drink with cucumber was delicious. Also, the wings were amazing. They fell right off the bone and were perfectly fried. I came here because I forgot to eat before I left the terminals for my connecting flight and it didn t disappoint. Wonderful hotel, great location right in DFW. The restaurant is FABULOUS! We ate breakfast and dinner there and every meal was top-notch. Props to the chef. The hotel staff in general was very pleasant.

The room assigned to us when we checked in digitally wasnt clean yet so Milena at the front desk upgraded us to a runway view room so we could go ahead and relax. The room was cool when we got in which was wonderful and the view was amazing. Very impressed!

We landed in DFW quite late after a delayed flight and had to get up at 5 am in the morning. It was pricey for the few hours we were there. But it is literally in the middle of the airport! Our room was very quiet. Rooms: Quiet Food and drinks: Great menu and wait staff.
