Its a great part of Dallas, we ate at Campisis. The parking was tricky but we unbelievably found two together, although I had to pull right up to my sisters bumper!

I love the park itself, Im just not a huge fan of some of the frequent visitors. Lots of people high on very strong narcotics here. People who dont understand personal space are here. People who dont know how to allow others to enjoy the park, as well. But the water feature and the park are beautiful.

An excellent option to spend some time with the family and for the children to exercise outdoors. There are some shaded seats to mitigate the heat. Playground: It has attractions for children to climb, there are swings, ups and downs. Dog-friendliness: There is a separate childrens and enclosed area for dogs to run

Although I m sure this is meant to be a play area for children, my daughter could not enjoy the park due to the scorching heat and the lack of shade over the play area. She burned her skin playing on the swing here. The seats for parents are also uncomfortable which I m sure they re that way to discourage those who are looking for a place to sleep, but I can see why the park was empty because it wasn t enjoyable. There is also a food stand here that is never really open during the day.

Absolute beautiful array of festivities in the park near downtown Dallas. The atmosphere was filled with food trucks(quite tasty), decorations, and people enjoying every minute of it. Coming from Chicago, downtown Dallas seems to provide more feasible weather while outside. It s definitely an experience to enjoy the city and take in the sites. 10/10!

We were in the area for another reason, but when we got there, there was an event going on in the park. My kids had a lot of fun at the event. The playground was slightly disappointing due to some of the toys being broken. Playground: The playground was ok. There were a couple toys that were broken and had caution tape on them. Dog-friendliness: Theres a separate dog park. Plenty of people were walking around with their dogs.

The park was conveniently located to our hotel, Residence Inn, so we came a couple times while in Dallas for the weekend. Our first impression was half of it was under construction making it hard to figure out how to get in. Once we walked around to an opening, there were homeless people everywhere just laying around or sitting and staring. So that made it a bit uncomfortable. The playground was nice for our kids to enjoy while we killed time, and the tree landscaping is well done and mature. It took me awhile to figure out where the classical music was coming from and realized it was in the park. A nice little touch. Overall I think itd be nice to see it on a good day because we probably caught it on an off day. But I can appreciate it for what it might usually be.

What to say about Main Street Garden Park? Its a beautiful park in downtown Dallas. It has a foosball and ping-pong table, seating area right next to a childrens playground, which has structures for several age groups, there is also music playing (the little mermaid was on when we visited.) It has a nice and ample grass area to play sports and shaded benches around it to sit down and relax. I highly recommend it!

One stall bathroom for the ladies and the men bathroom is used for storage. Absolutely ridiculous. Its 94 degrees in the shade. You guys have taken advantage of everyone. Never again
