I dared to give this restaurant a second chance, but I was again dissatisfied, the food is not good at all, the first time I ordered a ribeye steat and they cut it as if it were any cut of meat, the presentation of this dish was terrible, the second Maybe it was worse that I prefer not to even tell it. I will never return to this place in any location!

Staff here is amazing! The Maître d Erik runs a tight ship and has a fabulous crew I dont understand the chips, though (ick).... all the salsas, dips, and ceviche are fabulous -- but the chips are excessively thick and hard. Maybe offer a second chip choice thats like the *amazing* Deli Chips from Market Street?? I love all the other food, especially the Fried Rice and Shrimp Ceviche. And dont forget the Churros!

I had a very upsetting frustrating experiance today , Monday June 25 2024. I tried with three calls to the restaurant to arrange a slightly different way of settling the check. The restaurant seems to demand that with a certain number of persons that they present one check and then the patrons must work out for themselves ehat each person pays. I simply first asked that if this was their policy because of a larger group that we were ok with two tables. When two of us arrived i said we were there to lunch as agreed. And that two tables were booked per their policy. She said oh we could have one table, ok, fine then lunch proceeded , food was fine, server communicated that he was not best pleased woth serving a large group, ok , i understand this as i have served. So, ehen it was time for the check, he presented the total check for us to work out who pays what for ourselves. This exactly what i had tried to avoid with the three calls. I hate hate the messy silly time wasteing money all over the table and one person having to figure out!!! It ruins the whole event for me and several other ladies at the table. So,what i had ask for three times was that the server total ( really the machine) the whole bill add the tip and divide by how many ladies were there so that we all pay the same thing and it is easy to use our credit cards. Some do not carry cash with them, so this business continues as that person or persons must follow up and reimburse the ladies who paid for them. Messy !!!! I sat there but as we rose to leave i did speak to the server, i am not sure he had been spoken yo by the hostess at all. Ok again, three calls!!!!! I asked to speak to the manager, a young woman, as she came up, I knew what had happened, probably. Company simply has one way they handle larger groups of people ( ok, tried to agree to the two table rule, what i was told on a phone call. ) also did say that i felt she could not deal with my request as it was a man thing. That server probably just would not change his usual way of handling this situation , maybe could not compute my request, really easier for him. But, i am slow to anger and avoid getting upset if at all possible . If they simply would not or could not handle this dimple request, just say so and we would have chosen another restaurant that could. Instead, i will never dine with you again ! And i certainly will express my disappointment about the messy silly time wasteing money all over the table and the chit chat about who owes what . Oh the nice young lady manager offered a gift card, I and the other lady who stayed with me, absolutely did not want a card or any other exchange to try to fix an unfixable issue. Also, some of the miscommunication probably was about the way some communities treat the women in their lives, work or out of the work environment. I am a native Texan and have observed this over many years. Hispanic men simply are accustomed to ordering women about. In turn women in this community are raised to not command and direct men. They are just not heard. I explained that i was not unhappy with her , she obviously knows how to run the restaurant or management would not have placed her there. She completely understood my concern but probably is unable to adjust what the usual procedure. It is not a good procedure for some customers, and the other way I wanted that bill handled was not difficult with the computer in the register. I will not go back because of the disregard for their customers, also, that server may just be unhappy with being made to serve a larger group. We were easy, with no drink orders or changes to the restaurant s menu. I will not spend money with them again, and if the restaurant is suggested again , i will ask if we may dine somewhere else. After all, Dallas is fortunate to have a large number of very good restaurants. I think I am not the only lady or man who dislikes the messy money business at the end of a nice time. Disappointed in Dallas

I had made reservaions for a booth for a business lunch. They seated us in the bar area at a table. It was so loud (music) in the restaurant area, I decided not to say anything. It got equally as loud in there. While I was waiting for my guest I ordered iced tea. I was talking on the phone when it was delivered but waited and waited for someone to bring me the sweeteners. I finally got up and asked the two girls at the hostess stand. Our waitress was unattentive and not friendly. The food was definitely sub par. I have eaten here numerous times and never had food or service like this before.

Come sit a spell and enjoy the view. I love their patio or terrace as I call it, which boasts of a view that rises above the beautiful manicured grounds of a country club golf course. No need to worry about golf balls far below. Valet parking is also available if needed. As I sit and enjoy the view, service, drinks and food are good, which made for a very pleasant time. We were there early before the crowds.

Chip s and dips wonderful! Tacos pretty good. Deeply downhill from there. Husband ordered low carb cocktail which had weird funky taste / turns out it was not freshly made / it was from a bottled mix that tasted like old expired Reallemon lime juice . Not good. My best in the house margarita tasted watered down and weird. Had shrimp taco and carnitas taco. Shrimp with flour tortilla was excellent. Carnitas was fried up shriveled chunks of pork. Not good. My husband has the chicken tomatillo soup which was marginal at best we ve had way way better at Sausal in El Segundo CA. To top it all off the corner of our table was all sticky. When I wiped it off, the napkin came away black. So not clean tables either. Won t be back.

Been to Mesero a few times now during my visits to Dallas. Food, service and atmosphere are very good. Outdoor patio space is great as it sits alongside a golf course so you watch golfers hit their second shots from the fairway (no pressure). Most recently had a shrimp enchilada with rice and it was delicious. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere feels like a more upscale spot, but without the premium prices. Will be back.

Update: Jonathan finally reached out to me in regard to the issue. They will fix my issue. I will keep him posted to when it gets resolved. Thank you again! Food is great! I emailed the restaurant in regard to a tip that was added after we left a cash tip on the table. Never heard back. We wrote on the receipt we would leave cash instead of on the card and for some reason they went ahead and still added a tip on the card. That is illegal and should be considered stealing. I tried calling corporate but I was only able to leave a voicemail.

There are a few vegan dishes which are clearly labeled as such, like the quinoa tacos, and they look interesting and certainly go beyond the Tex-Mex go to vegetarian approach of mindlessly subbing fajita veggies for meat in the basic entrees. But what about vegetarians who want a chile relleno or cheese enchiladas? No labeling there; nothing to inform diners about the vegetarian dishes. One of us ordered a chile relleno and were asked which additional toppings they wanted beyond the salsa ranchera. They in turn asked if the salsa was vegetarian, waiter said yes, so no extra toppings requested. After taking the entire order, waiter turns and says the ranchero salsa is not vegetarian, suggests cheese. Hm. Okay, chile relleno topped with cheese. But it turned out to be queso, not cheese. Meseros chile relleno dish forgoes the traditional whipped egg batter and features the unbreaded grilled poblano filled with cheese and onion. So we got a sorry naked chile poblano with queso poured over it. I ordered cheese enchiladas, which came with an unspecified red sauce, presumably guajillo-based, served a little sparingly for enchiladas, but rich and pungent if a little bitter. And vegetarian? Who knows. Was the rice that came on each plate vegetarian? Who knows. Beans as a side dish? WK. Why concoct these creative vegan dishes and then drop the ball entirely on vegetarian cuisine?

I had a good time at Mesero. We had a large party and the restaurant was willing to work out payment methods with us on splitting checks, we greatly appreciated it. We all shared some of our dishes and everything I tried was very good! I am Hispanic so I had very high expectations and they were met with great flavors. I ordered the chicken with vegetables, a plain dish, and the chicken was so juicy and flavorful! The vegetables were the perfect texture and also well seasoned. Overall I enjoyed the great food and good service.

Not only is Mesero my favorite Mexican restaurant in DFW, it s definitely the best patio in DFW, overlooking the Prestonwood Golf Course Can always best recommend the Cremaqueso Enchiladas, El Miguelito, and the Queso Fundido. The Churro Pancakes are fantastic for brunch. Make sure to visit the Addison location over Legacy West, both the service & food are another level. The drinks are top notch as well- Im a huge fan of the margaritas and frose.

Visually this is a great place. The view on the veranda is very nice (though watch for golf balls, we had one land on the table next to us!). The drinks were pretty good. We tried the strawberry margarita, the Brandon (3 layer margarita) and their Masero Old Fashioned. However the service was just ok (slow and the waiter never did refill our water). And the food was bland and unremarkable. For the price, there are definitely better places to eat. But, for a place to have a couple drinks while enjoying the outdoor weather it s an ok place. Though I doubt we will be back any time soon.

Went for brunch, and WOW, what an outside patio they have. From the street, you cant tell, but their outdoor patio overlooks a serene spot at the Prestonwoods golf course with trees and changes in topography. The music only added to the ambiance, reminding me of Sunday Fundays of my past. The food was also amazing. I could not stop eating their avocado salsa, which they happily kept bringing. They also had attentive staff and valet parking. Inside was also very well appointed.

This is the kind of restaurant I really loath. Its not Mexican and its definitely not TexMex. So what is it? Its overpriced, small portions, bland food, super bland salsas (three tiny salsas come with every order, each more flavorless than the last) tiny, very expensive drinks and waiters with attitude. I cant imagine any self respecting native Texan would like this place but its always busy, so.... what do I know? Nice patio though....

We love this Mesero location. It was too hot to sit outside this time, but their patio is gorgeous. My favorite dish is the Puerco Pasilla, and the Cinco Leches cake, of course.

Unfortunately, this location does not measure up to the Legacy West location. My boyfriend and I came here tonight for a date, and from the time we entered, to every single person we encountered throughout the meal, the service was just not good. No one was really that friendly and we had to ask for things we paid extra for, and by the time our server checked on us, the food was all cold. I will say, the ceviche is always good. The steak in the fajitas was so fatty that I couldn t even chew it. I ve worked in the industry my entire life, so I m not one to complain normally, but I absolutely hate bad service and bad food. When I can tell that you don t care about my experience or the food you brought out, I m not going to send my food back. I feel genuinely upset that I wasted money at this location when the Legacy West location is so good every single time.

Were with the family yesterday for dinner. The first thing that alarmed us was the servers at the entrance. We were waiting for sitting, because the employees were playing with the child who was in front of us and did not notice us. The next minus is a long service. We had an excellent waitress with whom we were lucky, but the waiters around were not professional. They brought us the wrong beer, we waited about 20 minutes for an empty glass. The establishment is generally not professional, but the food is tasty.

The food, service and atmosphere is typically great here. My party of two was not terribly hungry on this visit. Guacamole and queso is a good way to start your dining experience. We ordered our glasses of water because it s Texas hot. Next we enjoyed Froze s. Great flavor and strong! This was a repeat visit as the menu is worth sampling. We enjoyed a shrimp taco and a brisket taco platter. Both had wonderful flavor with a slight edge to the brisket tacos, which were on point this evening. Side of Mesero house rice and slaw completed these scrumptious dishes. Once again, we had no room for dessert, which is a bummer because the carrot cake eaten on-site is delicious!

We had such a wonderful time with Jill as our server. The brisket nachos were yummy and we topped them with the queso too. My friend enjoyed the ceviche as her meal and I had the asada tacos. Everyone in our group was very happy with the food, service and atmosphere. Can t wait to come back!

Shrimp enchiladas were perfection. Queso was the best. Service was friendly and professional. The restaurant was clean. I d love to give it a 5 but the focal point of the outdoor dining was a large display of very ignored and very extremely dead plants.

We were charged twice and the waiter spilled champagne all over my husband. There was no one senior to apologize and comp something which is kind of common practice at most places. After we left, we looked at the receipts and went back in to find a manager to ask about the charges and she was less than helpful, nothing was fixed-- in fact, I just happened to notice duplicate charges on my card two days later. I checked the Better Business Bureau and saw that this has happened before. We used to come here a lot when they first opened and it was slick--the food was excellent and so were the drinks. The service was over the top. ***UPDATE: The manager at the store location didnt return my call, but I heard from the owner after using email instead. He said that one of the charges was apparently for the other two people in our party and he refunded it. Which is nice, but had I not looked I never would have caught it. Ive never had this happen at any other restaurant in my life. And Ive never had a waiter drop something on me without someone in management being super apologetic and comping something. Its just weird! Bad vibes.
