I went for the Everglow concert tonight along with my gf who is wheelchair bound. We were worried about how the night would go since we d never gone while in need of accessibility, but we were astonished with how incredible the experience was with this establishment. From the moment we arrived, the workers were kind and understanding and they took the time to walk us through the venue and ensure we had a pleasant experience. They made sure we were comfortable throughout the night. Once the event was over they assisted us by escorting us through the building and helping us in avoiding the crowd. They were an incredible team and I can t wait for our next visit to The House of Blues.

Don t come even 5 minutes early to an event in this venue! Our tickets said the show started at 7:00. We showed up at 6:00, with most of the rest of the audience, and waited for an hour outside in the 100-degree heat until they let us in. They wouldn t even turn on the fans right next to us!

The service I received tonight was disgusting - I ve been here before and everyone was so polite. tonight I come for an event I pay for a VIP ticket It specified on the ticket NO REFUNDS it never mentioned that I couldn t get the VIP wristband that I paid for. I walked downstairs from the balcony which was not prohibited when I tried going back upstairs security told me I needed another wristband& directed me to a lady at the door . I explained to her I had a wristband and tried to show her my ticket she ignored me and told me she wasn t giving me a wrist band and she couldn t be sure if I purchased it or not I tried to show her my ticket she ignored me again so I asked to speak with someone else she then tells another guy I disrespected her which another ticket lady and the original security guy confirmed I was not rude or disrespectful. The BOSS then decides to remove me from the building by the sheriff for no reason. Worst experience Ever

Main ballroom has 80% of the bottom floor covered with a low ceiling and collums for the balcony. Makes disability and sound poor. HoB cares more about upsetting you($500 a Ticket) to sit in thier VIP section. In the front 20% of the venue, sound and lighting are good and the staff is great all around they attract big names, but youre going to have a hard time actually seeing ir hearing them if youre not willing to get there an hour early and fight for a spot.

i saw chuu here on july 26th, love her so much!! she put on an amazing show and there were so many different types of people there all coming together to support her. it was very fun and sweet! pros of house of blues: very beautifully built and decorated! i was amazed as i havent been to a venue that looks like this before. the layout is quite interesting and almost sort of cozy. definitely more of a chill and laid back type of vibe!!! cons: long slow-moving lines, its hot inside and outside and can get wayyy crowded. also, i asked the bartender for a water and he sold me a can of water for $7.50 BOOOOOOOOOO. my advice: just get water from the bathroom tap!! lol

I was in a walking boot and had difficulty moving around. Staff was very helpful in getting me around. They even went as far as bringing me a chair to sit in for the standing room only show. They have great performers come through. The venue is spacious and looks nice inside and out. They seem a little ill organized however when it comes to getting patrons into the building. Always a long line to go through security check, and to get ticket scanned, then to get to your seats. Would be nice if they had more than 1 fan working outside, as everyone was melting in the heat. Additionally, I have yet to see a show start on time. Everything from opening act to headliner was running 30 minutes or more behind. After the last concert I attended on 6/29/24, the artist kept promoting his merchandise, and several of us went to buy it. The chaos was incredible. They only had 2 people manning the table, they only had 1 card reader, they claimed to be cashless and were encouraging patrons to download a cash app. Another lady eventually showed up and said anyone with cash could pay her. All said, i would say definitelyworth going yo the venue as easy to get to, but maybe need more staff, outdoor fans, and organization inside.

Intimate and great venue to enjoy a show. They had some snacky food which was nice. Smoking area for us vapors. The only thing I thought was a down side was the drink prices. $20 for a premixed margarita! I only had one due to 1- price, 2- for $20 bucks it should be fresh made and taste better.

Its disappointing to hear that your experience at the House of Blues fell short of expectations. The continued closure of the restaurant due to COVID restrictions can indeed be frustrating, and its understandable that you were disappointed with the show not meeting your expectations. Your feedback about The Countess Cabaret not being a true cabaret and not being enjoyable is valuable for others considering attending. Hopefully, future visits to House of Blues will offer better experiences.

House of Blues is one of those places you love to see shows at but can be a Hassel. Ive seen a handful of shows here that have all been good, but the Hassel is parking, entering, steps to venue, and unavailable seats when the balcony is closed. I know youre supposed to dance, but old folks boogie only in their seats sometimes. Ive seen some great performances Umphreys McGee, Darkstar Orchestra, Bricks In the Wall, Zappa plays Zappa, and others. I usually pass on this place. Drinks are highly overpriced! Parking is nowhere to find except a walk away. Its the place I love to hate.

I last visited the HOB in 2012. At that time the Foundation Room was exclusive. Now its open to all. The food is still 5 Star $$$. Although ordering is reminiscent of a Waffle House in the bad part of town; They asked to hold my credit card before taking my order. The members areas are roped off and small compared to the spacious setting. As a result the members were cramped together. My visit was 4/18/24, during the Roy Wood Jr. Show so maybe its not usually as busy. Possibly they could expand the VIP seating during those times. I see no advantage to becoming a member other than the concert discounts and those are substantial. My dinner was wonderful, our table was great. Asking for the credit card first was ghetto. All in all, a mixed bag. I will be back, but with lowered expectations.

Great venue, clean, not the best check in process and the VIP booths arent really worth it. But good seating up top, floor is standing room

Went to the Set It Off show with my daughter and had a much better time than expected. The VIP table was worth it for us olds when we were there over 5 hours. Our servers were excellent; although the prices are concert high, it was still worth it for the experience. We parked at a lot by the freeway and it was under 9 bones - not too shabby at all. I want to catch another gig here soon...

Recently attended an event here and had a pleasant experience. It is surrounded by lots of cheap parking, it is close to lots of restaurants and other activities downtown, and it was easy to find. We paid for standing room tickets, but the staff were so helpful and ended up letting people sit in the empty seats. The bathroom experience was not the best. A toilet was overflowing when I went in and a worker had started mopping but was trying to mop while people were walking everywhere. It was chaotic and messy.

came here to see twin tribes and was impressed by the venue and cleanliness of it. My security experience went smoothly and the drinks were a little overpriced but overall had a great time.

I have never had a bad experience here. The sound quality is amazing, the views are good if you get there at a good time to get a good spot, and the staff is always super nice. I love going to concerts here.
