Loved it here!!! The home made chips and oinion dip was fantastic!!! I didnt think it would be as good as it was but we ate every chip!!! The burgers were nice and neat and tasted delicious!!! Very warm atmosphere . Was able to just chill watch a game and enjoy the time!!!!

Food was.....just ok. Out of silverware. After waiting 5 minutes for silverware to be delivered I had to get up and go find some. I was given a plastic silverware set. We noticed other diners having to do the same. Shaws needs to get it together if they want diners to return. We wont!

Real laid back great staff great happy hour and the best karaoke with Tony yoke!!! Love the crowd atmosphere have been here a few times and love coming back. Food isn t Gordon Ramsey great but I like it. Prices are fair. Nice patio and friendly staff ten outta ten will recommend and will try again. Great job!! This is a SOUTH-SIDE Fort Worth Gem!! In looking for a new spot to try out in south Fort Worth, my friend and I agreed to try Shaws, and what a great choice! Its been some time, so I cant recall whether we made it on time for happy hour, but I would have ordered the watermelon margarita nonetheless. We started off with the nachos as an appetizer, and they were generous with the toppings, which was well appreciated. She and I both got the cheeseburger with fries, and I from the sight alone I knew we were in for crispy and well-made crinkle fries. The burgers themselves were great, and even with the drinks and app, the price was still comfortable for all that we got. Im due for a return soon, for sure! Edit: Since this review, I discovered Trivia Tuesdays. Though Shaws was great enough as it was, this event alone makes it one of my and my friends favorite places in Fort Worth. The happy hour is also always worth the visit!

The service was good, the atmosphere was really cool and the patio area had a place where kids could play on the swings or climb on a bear or climb a tree. The food was ok. I had the turkey panini and my daughter had a basic burger and fries, my grandson had the chicken and waffle which were apparently outstanding cause he almost licked the plate. The turkey panini was ok. Nothing really flavorful or a standout. The fries were good and just crispy enough. It was the atmosphere that will bring me back cause it was a little pricey due a burger and fries.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT: Came for my birthday. Had party of 11. Menu says 20% for parties 6 or more. Charged 22% and said NOTHING. Manager asked me what do you want me to do about it . She said I ll void and charge again. But that placed TWO HOLDS. ILLEGAL to charge when state 20% and charge 22%. HID it till they ran my card too!!! Not returning. Overall food was decent. Went for lunch during Spring Break and it was great! Nice patio area and service was great. My kids enjoyed their food too so that s a plus! Only complaint is the nachos came with lettuce on top but that wasn t listed on the menu so my daughters had to pick it off they ordered them with chicken & cheese only and jalapeños on the side.

Love this patio. The food was alright. I mostly enjoyed sitting by the fireplace on the patio. Our server was okay, not great. He didnt visit the table to check in often and completely avoided us when we tried to get his attention. I ended up going into the bar the get a refill and condiments myself after several attempts to get service from our waiter. The bartender was nice. $15 for a burger. It was a nice spot but not sure Ill be back.

We sat on the patio for brunch and had The Basket app which was great little starter - think chips and French onion dip but better than the store. Then, had a big Tex burger with bison patty substitute. Burger was cooked perfectly and juicy and the fries were hot, crisp and salty. Outside patio is nice, partly covered, pet-friendly and with music (not live today). The service was excellent - Leon s service was great. He was friendly, funny, attentive and anticipatory to our needs. We will definitely be back!

It was astronomically too expensive for what you get. Neat atmosphere on the patio (except the homeless man hollering over the fence asking for money). But the prices are nuts, for food you receive in a plastic basket. Nachos not bad, panini overly greasy and kids brunch plates were a joke - frozen waffles w/corn syrup syrup . There were 4 tables on the patio and it took 20 minutes to bring a mimosa. This place won t last.

I really liked this place. We were working close by and just drove around a little and found this quaint place. Parking is limited behind the Restaurant so mostly walk ins from street parking. Lunch seemed slow but service was very good. Most of the lunch seemed to be burgers or grilled chicken and stuff but we got burgers. The price seems a little high but the baskets come with several choices. I dont recall them all but fries and rings were there. Everyone in our party got a beef burger and onion rings. The rings were good. Not a beer batter but not breading either. It was a batter and it stood up to the test. Seemed to be made in house. The burgers, again we all agreed they were very good. Not a huge patty but it was done. No pink nor was it over done. It was also thick enough to know you had some meet on the bun. The service was good, then again not super busy but we got there early on purpose. We would go back, it was good. One of the better burgers out there people. I have better but they cost a lot more too. highly recommend.

The drinks were so so good. Now the food is so simple yet they are overly salted. I had the panini Turkey with Ali sauce and all I could taste was the 5 layers of ham. The bread was not sour bread, the menu said sour bread but all i got was normal toast, plus the sauce clearly bought at Sams or Costco. Another thing the paper plates unacceptable. I payed $121.40 to be serve paper plates in my main meals. Its just not classy. If you have a bar and grill restaurant make it feel like one. Make me not regret I did not cook. The burgers are great, moist and the brioche buns are the perfect touch. Everyone was so kind. Our waitress brought our pooch a bowl of water before even greeting us, which I loved. Perfect spot with plenty of room on the porch for dinning with your fur babies and socialising. Their wings were tasty, cheese sticks were spicy and great. We will definitely be returning.

First time going here. Celebrated my birthday there Friday night. I had made a reservation online for a party of 13 and there was some technology issue that caused it not to show up on their end. Ty was wonderful and got us a table as soon as possible. Ty went above and beyond to make sure I had a great birthday experience. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We did karaoke and the DJ was so much fun! Drinks were great. Appetizers were delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

It is enjoyable to support this Texas Wesleyan University Alumni run business. The fried green beans were tasty and a huge portion. The cheeseburger and the Big Tex burger were great! And the Big Tex did have a good kick of heat! The Greek salad with added chicken was excellent. Flavor of the chicken was good, it was served cold on top of the salad. The salad dressing was served on the side. I can t wait to come back and listen to some bands while eating.

We were traveling through the area with our dog and needed somewhere to eat. This was the top recommendation to allow our four legged family member on their patio. I called to make sure theyd have a table for 5 and a dog. Informed them wed be there about 9:45 pm. When we got there we were seated quickly but then informed the kitchen closed at 10 pm. So we had to rush looking at the menu and ordering (not easy with 3 kids). Food was good though. Just wish they would of told us the kitchen closed at 10 when I called even though their hours are until midnight. Over all wed go again if in the area.

We hung up there on a Sunday Funday for drinks only. I cant speak on behalf of the food, but it was a pretty cool vibe there. It was somewhat on the chillier side and they had the fireplace fired up out on the patio along with the heaters. It felt perfect! Our server was nice, but the drinks and food were absolutely terrible. Most of the food was cold and soggy bartender. You could see he was clearly super drunk from a mile away and could not even keep his eyes open. Was super disappointed this was a 70 dollar meal and when I returned my drink to the manager to tell him it was terrible he didnt even Apologize just acted like he had not a care in the world. So I didnt even bother with the food because I was over it. Anyway, I would find somewhere else if you want anything decent.

Had an amazing time. Went early on a Thursday. The patio is spacious and lovely. The food was really good. I ordered a margarita flight, and asked her to choose which ones for me. I had an original, mango, passionfruit and watermelon. All of which were soooo good. 10/10 would recommend

Jeff was a good waiter, very engaging and helpful. We sat on the patio with our dogs and were given bandanas for them that we can bring our next visit for 10% off. The patio had a nice fire pit going, overhead heaters, and a fire in the fireplace. It was plenty warm even at 34 degree temps. Dietary restrictions: Tortilla soup without tortilla strips is gluten free.

Shaws is one of those places that you truly cant find anything wrong ever! Ive been going in and out of Shaws for many years, watching them grow! But at no time ever losing any of their quality or charm! Just today at lunch, walking through the restaurant heading to the door, it was one of the hardest times just leaving! The atmosphere is that comfortable, when you walk in it feels like you truly are at home. Like the TV series Cheers everybody knows your name, even if its your first time!

This place is awesome! We came on Friday night for date night. They were having karaoke on the patio. It was super fun. Carl, the manager did an excellent job keeping up with all the servers and making sure guests were getting our drinks as fast as possible. We will definitely be back! The only suggestion Id make is to get a system so that the drinks come out a little faster. I know they were super busy. But there are ways to speed up the service a bit.

Traveled out of state to visit family. Had this place on our list for happy hour so we were happy to try this new place for all of us. Unfortunately our service was not up to par. We sat outside, there was a waitress dressed in all black who looked at our table multiple times and did not acknowledge us. But soon as a white couple sat behind us (3 black women) they were immediately taken care of. Our waitress that we did receive was polite overall but things just were not done in a timely manner and we really didn t receive any service outside of her being polite. The service was just not up to par. We got one drink and checked out. We received the checks and was charged for flavors but was not told that they were extra. But we did get those taken off. By time we were asked if we wanted food we were fed up at this point. We watched tables around us be served expeditiously but we were not treated the same. 1 star cause my pomegranate margarita was pretty good.
