From day 0, Shawn O. and the entire staff at Shooting Star Ranch was absolutely amazing! We knew immediately when we saw that gorgeous red barn, we were getting married there. The first time we toured, we were blown away with how beautiful the entire venue is. Following up to our wedding day, everyone was great about every single detail and making sure our day was a fairy tale. On our wedding day, Berry Lynn, Kim, Robin, Shawn and a host of others were right there, ensuring everything was taken care of, while we were preparing for our ceremony. Each and every detail was amazing, beautiful and everyone truly cares about you as a person, as a couple and showing how much they LOVE love! Hands down, the best decision ever, sharing our special day with all of our friends and family at Shooting Star Ranch.

We absolutely loved this venue. It was the perfect mix of a backyard wedding feel with a slightly elevated touch. The team at Shooting Star are great people & work hard to make your day special & unique. The venue is gaining notoriety & therefore becoming busier and busier. I do believe we were working with them during a season of their growth as they slightly adjusted policies and because of that some communication did feel a little lacking a few times. Definitely still recommend working with them, we loved our wedding & once the day arrived everything was perfect!

From the day we did our first tour of SSR, we knew it was the place we would get married. The entire team is such a joy to work with and they make every step of what can be a stressful process as easy as they can. Our wedding on 2/24/24 was everything we dreamed of with the most picturesque backdrop! HUGE shout out to the in-house decorator, Kim. She took our ideas/vision and executed it in the most gorgeous way. We will forever recommend SSR to anyone looking for a venue and are so happy that our new life together started here.

We got married on 11/05/2023, and it was the most beautiful and perfect night I (the bride) could have ever asked for! Shawn, the owner, is amazing to work with and is always there when you have any questions! My DOC was Robin and she made the day go so smooth and was right there when you needed her. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and it was a pleasure to be able to get married on this gorgeous property!

We got married on 11/4/23 ...I cant say enough about this venue .it is absolutely stunningly beautiful. The owner Shawna is so amazing and sweet and Robin is so helpful and always made sure she answered all my questions so quickly. My Doc was Berry Lynn and she made sure every one was were they needed to be when it was time .I absolutely loved getting to be able to use the borrow closet that they allow brides to use it saved so much money on decorations and you can donate your left over decorations:) .I also highly recommend using Brittany herring (she is on the recommended photographers) she is amazing and made sure to capture every moment . I also highly recommend 5limbs media Michael is awesome to work with and got exactly what I wanted (his is also on the preferred list ) ...My wedding day couldnt have been more perfect besides I wish the night could have last forever . I do highly recommend a bubble exit off the stairs the pictures turned out so beautiful I attached some pictures below that are a sneak peak from our wedding..thank you so much shooting star and every one there that made this day even more special we cant thank yall enough.

Shooting Star Ranch was everything I was looking for in a venue. I wanted a venue that didn t need much decorating & would speak for itself. SSR did exactly that. The ranch is so beautifu! Everything from the bridal suite, the landscaping & the lights that are just GORGEOUS at night. Another reason I loved SSR was their something borrowed collection . I was able to do our centerpieces using majority of the items available. Their preferred vendors Hey Bartender & Tacoman512 were EXCELLENT. Our guest were stop raving over how beautiful it was. To top it off, the horses came out during cocktail hour Thank you again Shawn and team for helping make our day so beautiful.

I cannot recommend Shooting Star Ranch enough to anyone still looking for a venue for their wedding day I got married here July, 2023 and it was really one of the best days! They were so accommodating to everything, they re prompt, their communication is great, their vendor recommendations are amazing; overall just a wonderful place. I own MK Mikyaj (Hair & Makeup Business) and have now been a vendor at their venue twice and it was so magical being able to talk to brides and help them at the same place I got married. So I can definitely say my experience with them is STILL amazing

My wife & I got married at Shooting Star Ranch July of 2022. Funny enough, this was the first and only venue my wife and I toured before we fell in love with everything about it. From the moment we hit the property, Shawn was taking great care of us. We knew they would take great care of us and help make our day one to remember. Even in the Texas heat, we had an amazing wedding day. If you found this place, look no further. SSR will take great care of you. They re like one big family and take care of their people. Shooting Star Ranch was the perfect venue for my wedding. The red barn was gorgeous, and the staff was amazing! They let me bring my horses to the venue to ride in the wedding and they made it very easy to do so. I loved being able to visit the venue leading up to the wedding at their open houses. It helped me envision what I wanted my big day to look like. Their list of things to lend/borrow was incredibly helpful. It made decorating so easy. I give Shooting Star Ranch a 10/10 and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Absolutely loved working with the SSR team. They answered my many questions without hesitation and were beyond friendly. They took the time and really listened to my vision to help make our day exactly what we wanted. I absolutely, 10000% recommend using the house bartender, Daniel. My husband and I just got married at Shooting Star Ranch in early March. We could not have picked a better venue for so many reasons! First, the venue buildings/amenities and the grounds are gorgeous no matter the time of the year. Second, the SSR team was so helpful and accommodating on wedding day and leading up to it. Third, compared to other venues, you have a lot of freedom and control over vendors and other personal touches. I could go on and on! Our day-of coordinator, Robin, was truly the rock and glue of our big day! It was a joy working with her, and I highly recommend hiring her for your big day! The owner of SSR, Shawn, was also very kind and treats all her couples like family; which we are so happy to be a part of the SSR family! The Shooting Star Ranch was an excellent place to hold my daughters wedding celebration. Shawn is awesome, she was so helpful from beginning to end. I love how detailed she was with the layout and helping me figure out catering and flower arrangements. Every few months Shawn would email the family and send reminders, which was helpful because planning a wedding can be stressful. The overall day was great too! Due to the Ranch having great scenic overlooks we were able to keep decorations to a minimum. Which gave a natural look to the celebration. what a wonderful experience! Shawn and Berry Lynn were so accommodating from day 1! it was pretty cool that when I met Berry Lynn at the venue, it turned out she was the first person I ever met in Liberty Hill when I moved here a few years ago. Just felt cozy from that point on. I felt like I had friends helping me plan my wedding. For the months of planning, I had sent them pictures of my dress, my kids, my decorations, and even stuff that didn t have anything to do with a wedding! Fast Forward to the day of Oh Boy! I had the flu!!! Of all days Berry Lynn and Shawn still made it so wonderful! I didn t stress about a thing other than dayquil and kleenex :) Such a great experience! I will never get married again, but if I did it would be at Shooting Star!

Wow. Celebrating our wedding at Shooting Star Ranch far exceeded everything I had dreamed. From the absolutely stunning views & cheerful ambiance to the eagerness to assist & ease of coordination from the SSR staff, I cannot express how pleased and grateful I am to have chose SSR. I opted into the Texas Shotgun Wedding Special & given the hectic coordination of an incredibly short notice wedding (less than 3 months), Shawn (owner) was always quick to respond to countless texts and offered welcomed guidance/suggestions - I was able to book with multiple of her suggested vendors (for incredibly reasonable prices!) which made planning far easier & allowed me to maintain my budget. The day of the wedding was perfect, Robin (Venue Manager) worked directly with my Day of Coordinator which allowed me to enjoy the day with my friends and family. I m so grateful to Shawn & the staff at SSR for putting in the effort to make our day everything we had hoped. I highly encourage you to chose SSR.

My wife and I got married here and it was absolutely perfect! The indoor/outdoor flexibility gave us such peace of mind. We planned the reception to be outdoors but needed to move it inside due to the weather and we still had an absolute blast! Shawn is amazing and you can tell that she really cares about the couples getting married / people planning events here on a personal level. Such a pretty venue and good service! Attended my cousins wedding here which was beautiful. She was hoping to do her wedding outside but the weather didn t permit it, which is always a possibility with outdoor ceremonies. Luckily it was still just as beautiful inside! My only complaint is the bathrooms are a bit of a walk from the dance/reception area which was unfortunate with how cold it was!

My DIL choose this venue and I certainly understand why! The grounds are meticulously maintained, including the buildings and furnishings. The outside staircase leading up to the reception room is breathtaking, especially lit up at night. The large live oak trees add so much character to the beautifully restored barn. AND the bridal suite... is Fabulous. Nothing has been overlooked, detail, detail, detail. The owners were a dream to work with, they take a personal interest and try to make your event everything you hope it will be. They have a list of outside service providers and the ones we used were top notch. Couldnt recommend this venue enough. So classy, yet comfortable, and just the right furnishings and accents to allow for a multitude of decor styles. Im certain you wont regret this choice! We couldnt be more thankful for the experience we had!

I just got married here in May. I picked this venue because of its beauty but Shawn and her team was a HUGE bonus. You can tell the SSR really LOVES what they do. I took Shawns recommendations on a bartender, photographer and caterer. I have no regrets getting married here, I hardly had to decorate because the venue and barn are just THAT BEAUTIFUL. It even rained on my day but the barn worked out perfectly for everything and the weather cleared up into the evening so we were able to use the dance floor outside (Shawn squeegeed the dance floor herself so we could use it). If you want an attentive staff and overall beautiful wedding day..this is the place!

I loved it. Shawn was so patient showing us around and showing us the different options available to us on our special day. A beautiful, clean and serene place to be. The barn is gorgeously decorated with these beautiful custom wood tables. The wood floors are stunning and that scent of oak wafts through your senses when you enter the room. The restrooms are immaculate, the grounds are green and well kept. One of my favorite things was the sound of the rooster next door. This is a magical place for a wedding, a conference or any type of gathering. Its the most beautiful Ranch that my husband and I could image. We got married there last year, even today we can still remember how stunning the shooting star ranch is. Shawn and her family are so helpful, they are generous and kind. We love their barn and the bridal suite is really sweet. With many trees outside that you wont feel too hot even in the summer days. Theyre so nice and try to work with you the best they can. They even allowed us to borrow their horses to entertaining our guests. It is a good place to get away from the city, and our family and friends were pleased. We had more guests than what we expected, it was a little chaos during the reception. So, if you have more guests are better prepare well with the planner.

Shooting Star Ranch is a gorgeous venue with beautiful oak trees, charming restored barn and perfect lighting. I hosted a fundraising event for Knights of Heroes Foundation at Shooting Star Ranch in November. Shawn and Megan were so easy to work with during the planning stage. The day of event, everything was setup on time and they were on hand for any last minute needs or changes. The outdoor space and barn worked perfect for our event. Our guest had a wonderful time and even asked if this could be an annual event. For our first fundraising event in Central Texas, we couldnt have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a place to host a wedding, family reunion, graduation party, business party, etc - make sure to check out this place, you wont be disappointed.

Having my daughters wedding there was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had. Shawn and Monty were wonderful and a big help. We had some special decorations to install in the barn for the wedding and Monty was instrumental in getting this done. The place is so beautiful. You really have to see it to appreciate it. Our wedding was nothing short of perfect thanks to the help from Megan and her wonderful parents! From the second we toured, to the second we left the night of our wedding, Megan was so helpful and friendly! We didn t just meet someone helping us with a venue. We made a friend in Megan through this whole experience. From helping to find vendors if needed, meeting at the venue a few times to get an idea of everything, random texts just checking in on us, to even helping decorate the morning of! She went above and beyond our expectations! Not to mention, this venue is so beautiful! Pictures don t do it justice! And they even have multiple areas on site for your ceremony so you aren t stuck with the same area as everyone else that goes there. Highly, highly, highly recommend!!! Not just for the beautiful venue, but the amazing family that comes with the venue!

Me and my Fiancé met with Sean last week at Shooting Star Ranch to see if this was the venue of our wedding dreams. Let me just tell you venue is gorgeous! Pictures won t do it justice! I promise...go see it! Not only was she the sweetest person to work with that day but also extremely helpful and was patient enough to answer all of our questions. The venue has the prettiest bridal suite I ve ever seen with so much room. As someone who has personally worked many weddings as a hair dresser I can tell you this place has it right. There s so much room for the girls to get ready...even the cutest vanity area with 4 seats and a huge sitting room. There s were so many beautiful places outside to have the wedding and even an awesome indoor venue in the barn. All I can say is we are sold! We can t wait to work with Sean and her team. It s gonna be the perfect day.

This place is absolutely beyond beautiful for any special event. Shawn and Monti and Megan are so kind and gracious to all they meet. They are happy and willing to help you with anything or offer any advice you mifht ask for. Shawn and Megans eye for decorations, food prep, and party planning is truely spectacular. This is a georgeous place for any occassion or event!

We were so greatful to have our Liberty Hill boys soccer banquet there in early May. The venue is beautiful and our boys had a great time. Mr. and Mrs. Oehrlein were great. We hope to have more events there in the future!

This venue was amazing. Breathtaking from the minute you drive in. I instantly fell in love. Perfect for a wedding or any party. The trees were amazing, the grounds were beautiful, the facilities top notch and the owners so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone hosting a party or special event.

As someone who has had an event at the Shooting Star Ranch, I can tell you without a doubt your entire experience with be handled with the upmost hospitality and charm. The whole staff was extremely helpful and made our event an evening to remember forever. The grounds are so enchanting, especially at nighttime. I could see how much the owners cared and took pride in making the celebration memorable and seamless. If you are ever thinking about having a wedding or ceremony here -do not hesitate. Your guests will never forget this place.

Shooting Star Ranch is an absolutely gorgeous venue. And at night, the lights are enchanting. Ive been to several events at Shooting Star and have consistently had a great experience. Everyone at Shooting Star pays attention to all of the details to be sure your event goes off just as you had planned it. Shawn, Monty and Megan are exceptionally gracious hosts, as well as generous to the Liberty Hill community. I highly recommend checking into this venue!

Shawn and Monty and there whole family are truly amazing people. They are so nice and accommodating. During events they are so generous and willing to help in any way they possibly can. Go above and beyond to make sure whatever event you are having is most special and as less stressful as they can make it. I recommend them 100 percent. They make there venue and home more presentable and hospitable more than any place or venue I have ever seen. Again truly amazing Keep up the amazing work Yall are awesome.

I have been to several events at Shooting Star Ranch and every time it has been a wonderful experience! The property is gorgeous! The venue is beautiful. Originally the daughter was an amazing host and tour guide.. The female owner however was incredibly difficult to work with! She would change things at the last minute, and she became angry and difficult to work with. She had a confrontational personality about the whole process.. including charging up to the bride with her finger pointed in her face yelling about a missing peace officer. It turns out the company that provided the peace officer made the mistake of not sending two. I have never seen someone that angry at a bride on her wedding day.. brides beware! We were on pins and needles all night about what might trigger her next. Her energy really sucked the beauty out of the atmosphere, but thank goodness the bride was resilient and she stayed calm and collected through the entire situation. I hope the owner can learn how to approach a bride with a pressing situation in a calm manor.

We had to find a new venue two months before our wedding, and someone recommended Shooting Star Ranch, and wow, did we get lucky! Megan and Shawn were so accommodating, professional, and welcoming. After seeing the bridal suite, barn, and property we were sold! Everyone who attended the wedding would not stop raving about how beautiful the ranch is; from the lit up trees to the vintage chandeliers in the barn, everything was picture perfect. There are also horses on the property, which everyone enjoyed! We are so thankful to Megan, Shawn, and her husband for allowing us to have the most memorable moments of our lives at their ranch. Thank you!

O my goodness there is not even a word to describe how completely utterly gorgeous 00p0place is. The barn is just beautiful, i love how you can feel the rustic vibes coming out. What a spectacular wedding venue. Makes me want to run off and renew my wedding vows just to be there again!!! The staff was so sweet and helpful. And the food was delicious!!!
