WOW! CHOPS is a wonderful House to worship JESUS in. The members are true worshippers, the love of Christ is genuine. I felt so at home as one of CCI connection of the late BDB of SA, TX. And now to be lead to sit under Pastor Valerie Holcomb of the late Great Bishop Holcomb is a triple+++ blessing for my soul salvation. Pastor Valerie Holcomb, gives her humble invitations to come the house of God CHOP to fellowship says, while one maybe in Central, TX says; (Im not asking you to remove yourself from home church) But while one maybe here in CTL,TX come Fellowship at CHOPS..my heart said yes Lord how can I not, My soul has benefited from it every time. Praise be God, Its all about HIM, Jesus Christ.

It was a beautiful day on our 43rd Church Anniversary. At the end of service we honored our beloved late Pastor Apostle Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb with a white balloon release. It was beautiful commemoration to the life and legacy of this awesome man of God! He is missed but never forgotten. His wife accepted the mantle of pastor and is moving us forward in what God has in store for the Christian House of Prayer! To God be the Glory for the things He is doing, has done and going to do!

Christian House of Prayer has changed my life from the inside out. I am God conscious and practice God s presence in my life. I have learned to to hear from God, step out in faith and obey what God have spoken to me with boldness. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God to every one who believe. I have learned that my identity is in the Divinity. (John 14:20) At that day you shall know that I am in the Father, and you are in me, and I in you. I am a son of God, an ambassador of the Kingdom of God. I have dual citizenship, Heaven and earth. Now I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day.

I ve been attending this church for five years and can t put into enough words how truly blessed I am to find such a wonderful place to worship and learn about the Lord. Every service you can feel the Holy Spirit just move in you. Our Pastor Valarie Holcomb is not just a preacher but a teacher of Gods word! Stop listening to the negative things you may hear and come and experience for yourself the living room of God!!

My children and I have been coming here for 8 years. When I first moved here they offered to give me furniture that was brand new and still had the plastic on it and then they asked if I needed anything else! Such a huge blessing. When I needed food they got me a gift card to HEB. When I needed a place to stay they paid for my children and I to stay in a hotel then offered a place of refuge (an actual home) for us to live rent free until I could get on my feet. There was also a time I needed gas in my car and a woman I didn t know in the ministry allowed me to fill up my gas tank on her credit card. The list goes on with how the people of God have truly been a blessing to me and it has helped me to also do the same for others. This ministry has truly grown me in the Lord in so many ways. No one is perfect, but God. When we start placing our eyes on Him, He will make sure we are taken care of. It s all about Him! Come with an expectation to receive from Him and He will always take care of you.

I joined here at CHOP, under Pastor Valerie Holcomb in February, 2020. I had been coming when Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb was alive. This body of CHRIST has been there for me.this body of CHRIST is a place where you can fell Jesus CHRIST in in the srrounding. The people that I have meant has real Love.

The HOLY GHOST lives here! A real church that teaches the BIBLE, has a school with a lecture hall, a credit union, a mailbox store, etc in their own village of businesses on the property. People are saved and join in every service. This church is going somewhere! To Glory?

I don t know what they are teaching at this place but I found out this morning that the devil drives a black Mercedes and is disguised as an old black lady. I was in my car waiting for a car to pull out of a handicap spot so I could pull in and up comes this black Mercedes that just stole the spot right out from under me. I went to her window and told her I had been waiting for that spot for 5 minutes but she didn t care. She said she wasn t moving. I noticed the Christian House Of Prayer sticker on the back of her window that just made me more furious that someone claiming to be a Christian would do such a thing. The Devil drives a black Mercedes.

I always thought that if you attended a big church you would be small & insignificant, BUT I was so wrong! I have visited multiple times (I don t live in Texas or would probably be a member ) for conferences...the preached word of faith is uncompromised, the music is edifying and energetic and the people are friendly and full of love Thank you Bishop Holcomb and Pastor Valerie for being bright lights of Hope in a dark world.

I have been attending the Christian House of Prayer since March of 1999. I LOVE IT. The whole overall experience is a blessing, but no one can really tell you how wonderful it is you really have to come and see it for yourself. I grew up in church, but I have never heard the word from anyone as I have from my very own man of God. Even though the Word of God never changes, we can all say that it is always anointed and fresh. If your are new to the Fort Hood area come fellow where the people of God who have an appreciation, affection, and an aspiration for word and house of God. Dynamic preaching and praise and worship. I have grown spiritually in this church, however, when I came to CHOP, I was a babe in Christ. At first, I was not going to join because I had come from such a small church and I felt as if I didnt know anyone. I remember one thing that helped me decide to join was when Bishop said anything thats of God will grow. And I remember growing up and my grandmother would give tithes for our whole family and give offering for the church building fund and that church stayed the same, even though it was packed everyday. Also another thing I heard him say was if you want to be apart, be apart, join an auxiliary and you will meet people. Lastly, Bishop tells us, its NOT ABOUT him, but about HIM. He is not trying to get us closer to him. He is a sheep too and we all need a shepherd. I thank God my family and I have pastors who love Christ and feed my family Gods word and not his own. Come in and incline your ears to hear. God Bless.

This was my first visit. I enjoyed the service. Uplifting! The energy was like fireworks. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The service was informative and definitely an eye opener, regarding singles and waiting on our mate; in the meantime, focus on our Heavenly Father. There were guests: First Lady Elaine S. Arnold and Psalmist & Ministers Jerone & Pamela Lee. Mr. Jerone is a wonderful saxophonist.

Family Oriented. I really felt a connection to the members of the church, they were like family to us while we lived in the area for 5 years. Bishop Holcomb is amazing at preaching and feeding you the word of God. My children absolutely loved the childrens church. Thank you for enlightening us and teaching my family the Bible. This church invites people to attend but doesnt know what to do with them once they visit. Personally attended this church for over 6 months and never really met anyone and Im sure no one even noticed. I hope the members see this and really do something to make a difference. The pastor hands down is a great preacher (thats why I kept attending) but as members you have the greater responsibility to take care of one another not just the people you know. One of my friends has been there 5 years and STILL knows no one but her own children she takes. Today I invited her to my church after our conversation. Also, saying thank you for coming is not all it takes to keep a person coming back. Acknowledge everyone not just the people who came to church with you. This goes for in and out of church. When church ends people struggle to say hi- it was awkward to smile and have people just walk by. Where is the love they say they have? No disrespect to this church either. We are all human in the end.

Well, this was a strange one, I was told that I couldnt stand in the back of the church and was asked to leave... Lol, first time to get kicked out of a church for standing up... Got two stars because I met master T and he was such a wonderful man who I met in the lobby and never would have met if I hadnt been kicked out... Well Ill never be coming back here again, but if anyone reading this goes to the church just go stand up in the back and let me know if you get kicked out....lol

During my time in Killeen this was my church home and I enjoyed being apart of CHOP. Theyre truly a church that help the community spiritually and physically. I was single mother homeless and they provide for me and my boys. CHOP will always have a special place in my heart. Plan on going back to visit soon.

Well yes I visited Christian House of prayer, but I want to tell you how I was blessed through prayer and this and that store. Their is an very powerful ministry there. 2yrs ago I lost everything. I think that your house should be your castle. I was blessed with beautiful clothes, and everything I needed for my apartment. The prices were reasonable...Nice stuff I would of never been able to afford to buy. I called the church and left them a message about difficulties of getting an apartment because something in rental history. A powerful woman if God left me an message and prayer. Today I went to an apartment to put in an application. They ran my rental history, and when it was completed she looked up at me and said I dont see anything on your application that will prevent you from getting this apartment. Praise God. The Bishops are both beautiful people I have been following for years. God Bless

I thank the Holy Spirit for leading me to CHOP! I was going to Grace for over 7 years, and when my Pastors went home to Glory, I felt so lost and alone. I remained at Grace, prayed, fasted, and the Holy Ghost led me to CHOP. From the first day that I went, I knew that is where God has me to be. I have been there just alittle over a year now, and I have grown so much spiritually. I was blessed to have attended Sonship School of the Firstborn, and I will be graduating this October! The closeness that I feel to my Father, even though going through a lot of tests and trials, is so awesome! Father God has really used Christian House of Prayer, the teachings through Bishop, Pastor Valerie, and others, to change me and give me such an in love and affection for my Messiah, the house of God and for souls! Im being so spiritually filled there, that Im tickled pink!!!! Hallelujah! :)

For the most part this is a wonderful church. The spirit definitely lives in this place. I joined CHOP back in 2007 and although Ive gone all over the world, this is home for me. One thing I didnt like initially was falling under a certain deacon or deaconess. My fam & I moved to Arkansas & I was faced with a crisis. I contacted my deaconess whom I fell under for help and guidance and she never got back to me. We were only there for 30 days & then we moved back home to TX. It discouraged me for a long time from going back to CHOP because I felt like they deserted me. But talking to a sister in Christ she let me know that I shouldnt judge an entire organization on what one person did to me. She mentioned that if my Bishop or my Pastor Vallery knew what happened they would have corrected the situation immediately. So, my kids and I are going home to a place where we belong.......Christian House of Prayer.
