Do NOT hire this company to represent you in an accident claim. Not only do they not return phones calls but I had to do all the calling around to get the claim settled. I was forced to sign a recap sheet that I repeatedly said I disagreed w/ because they said we will not give me my settlement unless I signed it regardless of whether or not I disagreed w/it and after being practically bullied into signing it I had no choice. The actual attorney (Victor) I hired for this claim never did anything on this claim in fact Ive never met or spoken to him. They had a paralegal work this claim up until I called them out on not doing anything for 9 months on this case. To this day they still havent paid the medical bills as Im still receiving them. They basically stole over $40K and didnt do anything.

Notes: Rude!!, not dependable (possibly too many clients, too little staff, other?), maybe my needs got over looked - lack of communication between staff, greedy pricing they are not the cheapest, at a very least absent minded. Something is or was amiss with this office. I never would have written this review if I didn t feel that I was treated rudely. The receptionist was nice.

I must have met Victor McCall around 2011, during a local business networking event. I found him to be enjoyable and direct to talk to and I would always seek him out as I continued to attend those events. During one of our conversations, he said that as a general rule of thumb, he recommends that businesses try to avoid litigation, using it only when repeated attempts to resolve the issue have failed. I respected him for this advice and decided that IFF my then 2 year young software development firm ever needed an attorney, it would contact Victor McCall. As my company became busier, I no longer had time to attend those events and I lost touch with Victor. Yet I never forgot the feeling of trust I had for him. Nine years would pass by before I found myself in the unfamiliar territory of needing to enforce a contract. Remembering his advice from nearly a decade prior and empathetic to the financial loss caused to other businesses by the pandemic, I did everything in my power to give the other party an opportunity to finish their remaining payment obligation. Unfortunately the pandemic s damage meant that the product I had built for that client was no longer needed. Although I went above and beyond my contractual duties, I wasn t able to resolve the matter on my own. I retained Atwood and McCall and explained my contract. I was then presented with options and throughout the case was provided regular status updates. I felt relieved that my time could return to focussing on my business. Although I knew there was further financial risk in paying to enforce that contract, the outcome was what I had hoped for; to be paid for services rendered, regardless of the pandemic. Though one contract dispute in what was then 11 years wasn t too bad of a rate, I would have loved to have had zero. However, business ownership isn t for the faint of heart and for that reason, every principle needs to have an direct, aggressive yet fair attorney on speed dial. Since your probably reading this review already needing an attorney, my advice to you would be to call Atwood and McCall now as the hardest part of your circumstance is selecting a good attorney. Hopefully I made it another 11-12 years (or longer) before I need his services, but whenever I do I hope he s still practicing!

Mr. Atwood was recommended to us by the attorney in Memphis who drew up a trust for my Mother. She said that he was very knowledgeable about Texas laws governing Trusts and Estates. We found that to be very true. We explained our situation to him and that our primary aim was to make it as easy as possible for our executor to close out our estate without having to go through the Probate Court. Mr. Atwood gave us some forms to fill out that would let him know what assets we had and how we wanted our assets to be disbursed to our children and grandchildren. He provided us with the cost we would probably incur in his firm drawing up our wills and trust. He provided us with the documents to give us a chance to ask questions and make any changes we wanted. Over a period of a couple of months we reviewed the documents and had many conversations with Elizabeth Carlson who was also very professional and knowledgeable. We also had conference calls with both of these kind, patients professionals. We are both very comfortable with the final documents. The final cost was the exact figure we were provided months earlier. We can and will give this firm an excellent reference to anyone seeking help with Trust and Estates matters.

Very kind office staff, I met with Mr. MaCall and Jeannie their legal aid ace :) Extremely knowledgeable and generous with their time, I met with them over this airbag disaster that has hurt lots of innocent people and crippled or disfigured them. Unfortunately the time has run out for me, but if you need help these guys are the ones to call! Very knowledgeable in both Fort Worth and Dallas as well as the surrounding areas.
