A Tasteful Place is the food building inside the grounds of The Dallas Arboretum. They provide cooking demonstrations, guest speaker presentations for various topics, ie. gardening, etc... Also the bldg can be reserved for large gathering events such as wedding receptions, etc, with an outdoor patio and tasting island adjacent to the building, all overlooking a beautiful view of the lake and downtown Dallas...if you havent experienced A Tasteful Place, make time to visit The Dallas Arboretum...its simply magical and a time youll never forget!

The weekly sample demo was very informative. The food was delicious. The Chef Isabel was personable and extremely knowledgeable; she gave us ideas about what to do with the fruits and veggies growing in our community garden and inspired our kids to go home and cook one of the online recipes.

Havent visited bakery. On the front patio though, they were giving away food samples one day as I was touring the gardens, little appetizer bites made with greens from the various greens growing in the garden right below the patio. Large covered/shaded patio with nice view. Im unsure how often they have anything like that there... sure was tasty.
