I absolutely love this Kroger. It is my favorite anywhere. However, you guys need to really pay attention to your prices. My favorite ice cream here sells for almost $8 a pint. I just went across the street to your competitor and bought it for less than $6 a pint. $550 a pint to be exact. Needless to say across the street will get my business for certain things because you guys are way out of line on your pricing. and their pricing was not on sale and no coupon had to be downloaded. Over $2 cheaper.

Our self checkout experience went a lot more smoothly thank you to the help of Louise (a Kroger cashier) Some of our items that were supposed to be on sale werent ringing up for the sale price, Louise went helpful and knowledgeable. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the items not ringing up for the sale price. This seems happen every time I shop here (not just the Burleson location). Louise made it much more pleasant. And Adrian at the in store Starbucks was personable and helpful.

Its a great place to shop at and nicer than most of the other Krogers Ive been to but for me what really makes it stand out. Is Larry!!! at the self-checkout line? He remembers me every time I come in and is always ready for the people that need help and keeps the line moving quickly even if its busy.

I ve been using this Kroger for years. Love it. But this few times this gentleman with a mask and long hair working the self serve is unbelievably rude. I m hoping the manager reads this. This gentleman workin self checkout to close 2/22/24 has been beyond rude. I asked him to help with an error on my checkout, he stated, I can t help you with that My husband went in and asked if this register took cash, and he exclaimed in extremely rude saying look at the sign ! He seemed upset that my husband disturbed him using his phone. Which all we see him do, every time we see him work. One night I walked in 30 minutes before closing, this gentleman walked right up to me almost in my face and told me i had 30 minutes in an aggressive way. When I was done 5 minutes to closing I saw him herding the customers and acting foolishly making us all uncomfortable. Totally bizarre. We are there regularly, due to owning a small business locally. And later especially close to closing as we work late. This night particularly, I walked in, saw he was working and felt uncomfortable. He didn t even acknowledge me as I walked in or when I left. I had played scratch tickets. I went back to my business and decided before closing I was going to get a few more with my husband. Ten minutes to 1, closing time, doors locked. Then my husband went to knock on the window, which was right behind him. He would not even look back. I just wanted to get my tickets to possibly win what I put in. So there goes that. So we will be calling tomorrow to make a complaint. I know the difficulties of employing staff, but this employee has business in customer service. This honestly is the worst I have ever seen or experienced. I m not for anyone getting fired, but I would really consider and go to the cameras to see his actions on a daily. We know Richard, and he has always been helpful and gone out of his way with every customer. Never seeming to mind to help. Richard is exceptional with customer service. I have never seen him on his phone or not working. He deserves a raise. And he has always been patient and kind at closing. One is kind the other makes you feel your presence unwanted. Literally making you feel like you should shop somewhere else. Literally Please help me feel comfortable shopping at my favorite place. P.S Larry is exceptional and an angel. Why no response to any reviews? Do you read them?

Loved this place because how organized the supermarket is and always the great the service. Today the doors closed at 12:45 15 min before it s advertised at a closing time of 1am. Now I know it s annoying for an employee to have people come last minute to shop but if it s advertised to close at 1am, you don t close the doors till the door time posted. All I wanted was a box of cereal to eat. If you re going to start closing the doors at 12:45 then change times to 12:45 to close. I will be writing to corporate about that because I should be able to enter the store till 12:59.

Don t order online pickup. The grocery pick up area is the worst set up I ve ever seen. The area for online pickup has 8 spots near the pharmacy with only one way In. So if a car leaves but the car behind it hasn t gotten their order, you can t park there until that car moves. Long story short, they were so behind it took me 2 days to get my order. I waited 30 minutes yesterday, went home empty handed, then finally got my order after waiting an hour today. I also had an incident recently where an employee took my phone and lied and said he didn t have it. Supervisor know what was going on but would not help. The locate my phone app was showing that my phone was in the store but they didn t care. My dad had to come up and threaten to get the police involved before they finally gave me my phone.

When I came to Burleson Kroger was my favorite here! But as time went on it has gone down hill sadly. Stuff isn t as fresh and selection of produce and other stuff is not the same at all! This is the best Kroger store EVER! Its like a smaller, cleaner version of Wal-Mart. Very nice store. EDIT: This store has progressively become worse over time. The prices are way too damn high (as in $2-$3-or more-higher than HEB, Wal-Mart or WinCo). The selection is smaller than ever. The Hispanic selection is huge now at the expense of items that we normally would buy. The meat manager should be fired on the spot for some of the beef and chicken in the case. Way past expiration dates and clearly no good but still for sale for outrageous prices. Some on clearance, some not. Someone not paying attention to the chicken would be in for a huge dose of food poisoning. Wont be shopping here again.

I would have given 5 stars, but was not pleased by how a situation was handled. My husband and I come from Waco to shop here, on occasion. There are certain items y all sell that we really like. We were in on a Sunday and I bought a dress. On Monday, I planned on wearing it to an event. When I went to put it on, I discovered an anti-theft device was left on it. We came back the following weekend, to have it removed. Thank goodness I still had the receipt. I understand accidents happen. However, when I got to customer service, no one was there. I saw several employees standing around who I assume was a manager. I finally had to go and ask if someone would help me. A lady finally came. I explained that I had to drive back, from Waco. She removed it , put it in a bag, and handed it back to me. No I m sorry about the inconvenience or anything! And the fact of the matter is, I think she is the one that rang me up and forgot to remove it! An apology would have been nice! We usually get better customer service than this.

The Kroger bakery is amazing! Their cakes are great, the staff is professional, so easy to work with, and friendly, and the decorators are highly talented! I ordered a birthday cake, and the design for the top was from a picture. Kroger has the capability to create edible pictures on cakes from pdfs, etc. A competitor store told me it could not be done. Kroger welcomed the opportunity, and the outcome was absolutely beautiful!! GREAT JOB!!!!

Do yourself a favor and go across the road to HEB. The shelves are never stocked, the meat is substandard at best. I never get what I tell them I want. Perfect point happened today- I told him and pointed to the 3 steak kabobs I wanted. When I drove 30 minutes home and was ready to grill there was only 2. Amaya was an absolute angel during my visit to the pharmacy tonight. There was an EXTREMELY rude woman in front of me in white shorts and a tacky karen haircut with bad highlights ripping Amaya a new one for her prescription not being ready yet. There was only her and another person in the pharmacy tonight, which is totally understandable!! Amaya was very polite and professional and told the woman she apologizes and it s only two people working tonight and that they are doing their best to get everyone s prescriptions filled. Amaya looked extremely distraught when I got to the counter but she remained smiling even though I could see her fighting back tears. She is so sweet and did not deserve that kind of treatment!!

This store has gone downhill, and badly. Every time I order groceries something goes wrong. They leave something out or give me expired food or meat that is gray. Theyre not friendly when you call. This latest time they told me to process my own refund on the app. Its not exactly clear how to do that. Theyve lost my business forever. Cant even get hold of someone at their 800 number. They were fine through most of the pandemic but things have gone bad the last six months.

Went to buy steaks for the Holidays. The steaks were kind of thin. Decided to buy a $121.00 package of meat to have cut into steaks. The butcher to me it would be $2.00 more a pound that would of been additional $48.00. It really sounded like it was to much of a problem for the butcher to cut it as they were cutting beef at the time. What happened to customer service??? I put it back and left. Big signs outside the door and at entrance indicates double fuel points on food purchases. Even with Krogers higher prices on many items, double fuel points is enough incentive to shop there, so, I did. At check out, after making my purchase, I only got 1x fuel points. The service desk said the promotion had ended and they had just not had a chance to take the signs down (I could not find any expiration on the signs themselves). He did offer to give me the extra points, but I already had groceries (including cold/frozen items) loaded in my car.

If I could give no stars, I would. Just after having lost my sister to a 33 years battle with multiple sclerosis in which she became a quadriplegic, she then got COVID and literally passed away while I had her head between my hands. I was her caregiver so naturally I was grieving. I had to get some prescriptions filled shortly after and went to the pharmacy where I was treated very unkindly by a clerk in the pharmacy whose tone of voice was anything but kind when she had to explain twice. I had to listen about how tired THEY were and how long of a day it had been for them. He got me so upset that I had tears in my eyes when I went to tell the manager about it. I told her I would not be back to that pharmacy under any circumstances. Those reading this might say well I took it too hard because I was in grief. Well maybe so but the lady was still nasty to me and I did not need to be talked to like that and listen to what kind of a rough day they had. I feel like that anybody even living on cloud nine that day would have said something to the manager.

The selection and store layout are great. The self checkout is the worst. The user interface is terrible and the touch screens are unresponsive. It takes longer to get out of the store with 7 items than it did to get the 7 items. There is no choice but to scan them yourself because no other lines are open. Possibly the others self checkout on the opposite side work better but they are never open, so maybe not.

I went this morning on my way to work. I love the morning hours, because its not crowded and, thus, able to navigate where I want to go quickly. The 2 gentlemen I spoke with in produce were extremely helpful and courteous. Its a joy interacting with such kind people. What I disliked was the lady hovering over me when I went through the self check out. It was as if she were saying Im making sure youre not going to steal. Some people have the people skills of a wall

I don t particularly like ordering the half gallon of half and half only to get it home and it s chunky. First time, it was a month out of date. Second time, a month out of date. The last two times, they aren t even near the expiration date but the milk is CHUNKY. That s gross. Please do better. I primarily use a delivery service and they have been great to look for expiration dates on your half and half but why is non expired half and half coming to me spoiled?

I just want to commend this location, and especially Seven and Louise. They are always so cheerful and so sweet, they go out of their way to help me, and I adore having the opportunity to interact with them every day! They always remember who I am, and engage with me. I also want to commend management, because I feel like this particular Kroger is a safe space for those in the LGBTQ+ community, and that s rare in our area I want to make sure that we are making sure to lift up these members of our community and to say thank you for the representation. It s very appreciated from a queer memeber of Burleson, myself. I always feel safe shopping here. Keep it up!

Every time I place an online order it is never ready at the scheduled time. Twice I have been asked to come back the NEXT DAY. In addition, it has been rare that I ve received my entire order. Kudos to HEB and Target who always come through when Kroger fails. At the time of this review I have decided to take my online business to HEB and Target.

Gotta say that I am getting more and more disenchanted with the Burleson Kroger Marketplace online ordering. The last eight times we have done the online order we have been told that things were out of stock but when we actually go in the store afterwards to do our own replacements we find almost everything that was supposedly missing . This last time we went, half of our order was fulfilled on the receipt but did not make it into our vehicle. Very disappointed in the kind of service that we get there. So looks like they will be missing out on our business and we will be shopping local or Walmart (which I can t stand). In addition to half our stuff not being filled, apparently they overbooked all day long and my wife made a wasted trip up there, was told the order wouldn t be ready for at least another hour, two hours later I show up and it s still not ready, bays are full with nobody being given their groceries for 20 minutes, and I still don t have my groceries. Definitely going to be losing our business to City Market and Target. And trying to find out who is over the ClickList stuff is an exercise in futility. No one seems to know who manages it, from the store manager to the employees, no one can give me any info on who to talk to directly to file a complaint. Update: Was forced to go back to this horrid excuse for a store and was not disappointed in the consistent bad experiences. Parts of our order that were left off because they couldn t find the items... my wife went inside and found them in minutes. And nobody still seems to know who is running this place, still can t get a straight answer on who to speak with to file a complaint.

If you have more than one coupon don t let Shelly ring you out because she gets confused and gets rude if you ask why . I had never had this experience with any other cashier here . Literally just went to another cashier and she took all the coupons I was giving her , she might of been having a bad day or simply didn t like me . Either way super unprofessional

Im a instacart shopper and a few days ago I had a issue with the app. I was asking employees where things were due to this issue. But Jaime was the Best!! Very sweet and willing to help. She helped me more then she knows. I just wanted to hug her ( we bumped elbows) but a hug is what she deserved!! Please let store manager know how wonderful she is!! ( I believe shes a shopper) she went above and beyond! I had one item I was having trouble finding, she actually went and got it and brought it to me. Just amazing customer service!! I am out of my mind today. My daughters birthday is Monday. I ordered her a cake 3-4 days ago from Kroger from the only person in the bakery that was of Asian descent..and didnt speak great english. She was nice though. I special ordered this cake. Tonight when I picked it up..it was brought to me in a huge box. It was not enclosed in any container of any kind. Just sitting in the bottom of this box. I thought..this is odd. When I got home I thought..what am I gonna put this cake in until my daughter arrives next week, I dont have a cake holder. I got cake out and this is what I saw...a lopsided cake. WTH happened? I was furious. The box was one thing but then I get a lopsided cake? REALLY? So I call up to Kroger and spoke with this same lady (in fact shes the only person I have seen in the bakery and dealt with on all occasions) She didnt seem to hear anything I was saying. I told her about the cake. She said nothing she could do until tomorrow, she was closing. I said is there a manager to speak with. She said this isnt my dept, I am only covering. THATS FUNNY..3-4 days ago she took my order in the store. LIAR. Then I asked if there was a manager to speak to. She said no, I would need to call back tomorrow. I said is there not a manager on duty? She ignored me. I asked again. She said no...no manager. I started screaming and cussing at this point and demanded to speak to a manager. She put me on hold. A guy gets on phone and I asked if he was the manager, he said yes his name was Tim. (LIE number two from her). I told him about what happened. He said bring the cake back for a full refund...and to just go to one of the front registers, so I did. I told him I would just go elsewhere to order a cake. His reply, OK. (Why didnt TIM show up to apologize and see for himself and tell me to just keep the cake?) I showed the guy at the register. I had him pull out the cake to take a look. He was shocked at the cake. Anddd, my daughters name isnt even centered in the cake. What kind of service is this? Kroger should have GIVEN me the cake on top of all my trouble and apologized for such a mess they made. (I didnt want the cake, it was the principle of it). I went down the street to HEB and ordered a cake from them. They had 10 people working in the bakery and was ready and willing to go out of their way to help me. Kroger lost me forever. NEVER EVER will I order a cake from them again..EVER! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
