So with everything going on in Houston after the beryl hurricane a lot of people have got approved for fema on them covering their hotels expenses until they get their power back or their house fixed and this hotel people don t care they even though fema is paying them they don t care about people they make u drive over there when u call them to ask if there s room available for tsa they tell u they can t do the reservation on line and tell u you have to be there in person and when I get there after driving for 30 minutes and they tell you they not taking fema tsa room s available when we drive we waste gas and time and the lady there doesn t even try to help you she just says no we not taking help that is very very upsetting because they make u drive for nothing why can they help me over the phone that s it

Terrible customer service no accountability. Lights went out during a storm and been off for 3 days now they put us out bc no lights. Then on top of that they won t answer the phone but are sending updates to my phone. They took all my belongings out my room and are holding them hostage. That s basically stealing. I was told I had till today to come get my personal things but today nobody answers the phone and I ve called a good amount of times. Wouldn t reccomend anyways bc the pool is never clean and I m never accommodated. My room was flooded and there s nothing I can do about any of this. I hope they shut this place down bc they could really use a redo.

We were without power from storm Beryl and the leadership at this location were not only extremely kind but very accommodating. I didn t catch the two gentleman s names but they were welcoming kind and made us feel safe which is key after experiencing the stress of a hurricane.

Room, especially bed, was comfortable. Location was excellent with tons of great restaurants immediately available. Lots of shopping nearby. Shower/tub needs updating but it was sufficient. We would stay here again if need be. Noteworthy details: Front desk personnel were great, especially Neesha. We appreciated her help from prior to visit and throughout. She went the extra mile.

Hotel is in need of a complete remodel. The carpet had tears in exposing the subfloor. TV was very dated and not a smart TV. Paint missing on the walls. The curtains didnt shut properly because the hooks werent attached at the top. The tub had rust in it and no stopper so had to take a shower only. The bed was old, uncomfortable ans squeeked. The couch was dirty and had a smell. Common areas were very dusty and unmaintained.

The refrigerator fell out of the cabinet when I tried opening the door. Then my drinks would fall out because one of the footings was missing, making it lean. The TV was not mounted to the wall mount. It was situated on the dresser. Then, the curtains were not attached to the rods. I couldnt get them to close. The desk clerk tried to close it but couldnt. She thought it would be OK to leave it partially open. I told her that it was not acceptable. She then offered another room. So after driving all day I have to play room hopping. I arrived at 10:30 and couldnt get to bed until 1:00. Then there were roaches in the room! My wife wanted to take a bath, but there wasnt a tub stopper. I had to use one of my socks. Now I have a wet sock in my duffle bag. Their rain gutters are not maintained properly. I walk out the back door into a small waterfall. The water was pouring over the top of the gutter. The rainfall was very light, so it shouldnt have been pouring over the top.

This was our 3rd time in this hotel. The Service and the location of this hotel is very good, very close to highways and markets but the rooms are not all that great as these could be. The room we got this time had some smell, the lock was broken the AC unit was not all that good, but i believe a couple of rounds of strict room check by management can over come these issues. As far as it comes to the staff, they were friendly.

The staff is very friendly, and their breakfast was well stocked. However you can tell this franchise is neglected at its core by whoever pays the main bills. They gave us a room that didnt lock. The hallways smell of mildew and smoke. The rug was HEAVILY stained and we found a moldy cookie on the floor, that had likely been there for many days. The frame was not aligning properly and the door could just be pushed open once you left your room. I noticed and told them. They sent someone over to assess and their trouble shooting consisted of them slamming the door with MASSIVE FORCE. We had to leave and they said they would work on it. When we came back about 5 hrs later nothing had been fixed. They lost power at around 11 pm so no AC for part of the night.

I just didnt like hearing the slamming of the neighbors door as if its my door as they went in and out. I think it needs to be fixed because it sound like they were struggling to open and close it in order to secure it. Other than that it was cool Nearby activities: I know one thing is in a good spot and some of everything is around you. Food and drinks: They serve actual breakfast from 7-10 am. I believe the time is correct but you may need to make sure.

I was there with 2 young softball players who had an early game the next morning. Heather was working the night we checked in and she was the friendliest, most accommodating night clerk I ve met. Since the girls would need breakfast before the hotels normal start time, Heather said she would put out cold Items for them before she left at 6am. She had a smile on her face in spite of being in physical pain. The next morning we checked out early and the morning clerk was so helpful in looking for a lost item. Kudos to all of you, including the night sheriff, for your helpfulness and friendliness. I will definitely stay there again when I m in the area!

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE! They have bed bugs. Tried to call front desk but there are no phones in the room so had to physically go down to front desk. I was then told if I took pictures but I actually took the bed bugs down in a cup to show them and she asked me if I killed them? Seriously I have to kill bed bugs in a room I rented? Beware this place is not sanitary. Also they state they take this seriously although after being moved rooms the very same day it was rented to another couple who over heard what happened. The problem of bed bugs was never addressed before renting to them. They didnt want to refund them and they didnt have no more rooms. Manager acted as if it was not an issue.

The room that I stayed in was noisy. I could hear every footstep from the room above, and then I heard some crazy noise which lasted about 15 minutes. I wont try to describe it, Ill just let you use your imagination. The pillows and bed were hard. Basically, didnt get a good nights sleep. This place was horrible, first room we got was messed up and didn t get cleaned. We got moved to a new room. The new room smelled horrible, it had a damp moisture on the bed sheets. Also the A/C had like mold or something which made the odor worse, and when I went to the restroom there was a leak in the sink and there was shampoo that was used. 0/10 would not recommend. (there is also a raccoon that visits every night.)

The room is FILTHY. Housekeeping didnt visit my room once during my 5 night stay, mildew in the shower and someone elses hair, and, while looking for my phone one morning peeked behind the bed and found someones nail clippings. Stained sheets, rachet guests, stinks like Reggie dirt weed every night. Cops in and out all night long. Continental breakfast is so nasty I could barely walk through the lobby after it was set out. And my skin has broken out every night from bug bites in my room!! Hallways and common areas, floors were nasty. Oh, and the first two nights my door handle was pulled and tried multiple times. I was attending to business in Manvel and stayed here overnight due to its proximity to Houston Hobby airport. Look, I get it. This isnt a luxury hotel, but one would expect middle of the road accommodations. Most hotels come with an array of toiletries. Not this one, they gave me one bar of soap, and it was the lowest tier of soap one would expect. They provided no lotion, no hand soap, just one bar of all purpose soap. They provided no facial tissue, just toilet tissue. There were two of us in the room and they provided one bath towel. I called and asked for more towels and was told to go to the front to ask. I went to the front and waited and waited only to be told A towel would be sent to my room. No towel was ever sent and I had to go back down to get a towel. When I received the towel it was torn! The elevator was out of order. There was an ice bucket but no ice machine on the floor. There was no iron,l or ironing board. Its clear that this place is skimping on amenities to increase their bottom line. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I wouldnt recommend this place to an enemy.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Booked a room for 5 days for a client of mine who was attending an educational program in the Houston area. We used a 3rd party app to secure a better rate after he called the hotel and was price $15 more/night and told we don t allow you to book with 3rd parties even though this hotel is very clearly on MULTIPLE third party sites. All communication in confirmation emails states check-in is any time from 3pm 3am. Since we booked Monday beginning at 3pm, my client packed his things, got ready, and found a ride to the hotel, arriving around 1:45am on Tuesday. He was greeted by a less than pleasant front desk worker named Angelica. She refused to assist my client, would not honor any of the communication that stated he had until 3am to check-in, told him he should have arrived earlier . When he asked for a full refund to find a new place to stay, she said the funds were lost and he forfeited his stay, essentially saying tough luck. At 2am on a weekday, my client was left without transportation and housing all because of a lazy, incompetent and unprofessional front desk staff member unwilling to do their job. My client was left on the street until I was made aware of the situation in the morning. I called the hotel and spoke to a man who apologized, cancelled the booking and assured me a full refund would be processed (we have yet to see this I m hoping it s the case) and that the situation would be addressed. I m not confident it will be addressed appropriately and have filed a complaint with La Quinta s Corporate Office related to Angelica s treatment of my client. Be warned for your stay even if you pay in full, have your identification and documentation and follow all rules and policies, La Quinta can and will leave you out on the street.

Watch out for this place. I only stayed here because it was last minute and they had decent rates on rooms. First this hotel is old and the way this place has been maintained it shows its age. They havent done a very good job. There was barely anyone staying here i could tell by the empty parking lot at night. They have no surveillance in the parking lot. All the outside cameras are pointing straight down to the ground. When i got into my room it smelled like pee and mold so i changed. The next room was so humid after 5 minutes of being in there you would feel damp. This room also smelled like mildew. All the other guests looked like they had been up for days. A.K.A Tweekers. I was very uncomfortable on my three day stay. I was always worried about my truck getting broke into. Very shady place.... Watch out.... Rooms: They smelled bad like mold and mildew. They were also very humid. Safety: They dont have any surveillance outside so beware of what you leave in your car. They made it a point to tell me that they arent responsible for damages in the parking lot. Food and drinks: Their breakfast is a joke. The waffle makers were nasty. They had burnt batter caked on them. Noteworthy details: Dont let the rates fool you. You get what you pay for.

This place is gross! It smells like a pot heads wet socks. Its got a vaneer of damp and moldy everywhere. The sheets smell/feel like they just go in the dryer between changes. The carpet is oily.... But that smell, that abiding smell of swap mold... I feel sad for the people here including myself. We got here super late at night well be checking out first thing in the morning. Also big percent of the 5/5 reviews are bots. Youre gross if you stay here. Update: while leaving, a crawfish sized roach casually strolled along the hallway with the nonchalance of a house pet.

Typically a decent hotel my latest experience was not it. Didn t receive housekeeping the first 2 days. Called the 3rd day and the lady at the front desk (extremely rude) said I had to call before 10am. Nobody informed me of that rule and housekeeping was at the room 3 doors down from me.. Wish I have gotten photos of our room but my sheet had a yellow round spot before I even slept on it, brought it up to the service desk and was laughed at and told we wont tell anyone . Guess it was a joke to them. The room had a wet moldy smell when air conditioning isnt pumped to the max (yes these are things I look at before we sleep our first night). Hinges on bathroom door were near rusted and gross, jacuzzi was completely un taken care for which led to some of its debri to fly in the pool. Still swam tho so I guess Im gross too. Land scapers or whoever trims the bushes had no regard for the guests because I was swimming and kept getting hit with dirt and grass. Location isnt the best, golden corral on the corner of death defying roads so have a car, also not a bad thing but if youre lactose, please beware the eggs for LA Quintas breakfast.

Entirely outdated, smelly sticky carpet, mold on Vents and AC, dark furniture, dark purple walls, microwave was so old it was a dial turn, bathtub painted, sheets and blankets had holes and fears in them, there were still soaking wet upon arrival of a 2 day stay. Inconvenience staff when asked to fix. I had to do it myself and they only have duck feather pillows which I am highly allergic too and had asthma the entire stay. Had to sleep in rolled up towels and now my neck is in so much pain. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!

I booked room for 6 days.. paying dairy rate.. front desk was on phone all time while check in no welcome attitude at all..room was okay was not best in condition..ac was not working well then next day refrigerator broke down so all food n milk and everything got frozen and on top they told me i need to go outside and put everything from refrigerator in big trash they not going to take care of that...I asked third day if i can just change room and they said no I can not change the room if i want to get refund i can get refund and go..thats what the answer was..all i want to say lol so i got refund and went to hotel very close to them they were great from front desk to room to breakfast to checkout.. i am glad i took refund

Dont stay here! My room hasnt been cleaned for two days and I dont have dry towels to use. I spent the day out working and when I arrived the room was dirty, I called reception to find out why the room hadnt been cleaned and the receptionist informed me that today, March 21st, none of the hotel rooms had been cleaned and that if I wanted towels , I should pick it up at reception. Breakfast is very simple, just eggs, bread and sausage. There are not enough hotel employees and those that do treat customers poorly. I paid for the cleaning service and it wasnt done,

It is 02/28/22 - We are in the process of checking out of this hotel ahead of our planned 3-night stay. Why? MOLD! Black mold in the shower, black mold all over the ceiling, most disgustingly mold all around the shower head... you know where the water comes out and rains mold all over the person in the shower. In attempting to get a refund we were, of course, told the manager was not on the property until Monday. Wed have to talk to the manager then. Naturally, on Monday we will be on the road on our cross-country trip. I recommend you SKIP this hotel.

A very questionable place! Ive never been to a hotel where someone pressed against my door and then later another person knocked but did not answer when I questioned who was there. There was also a smell of garbage throughout the hallway when I checked into my room--that should have been my first warning. The room was also very cold and it took a long time to get the rest of the room to a reasonable temperature. Definitely not worth my repeat business.

The Manager on day duty has poor hospitality customer service skills is horrible. I am here for treatment at UT Herman my husband and I. I was up the night before with my treatment my husband told me the toilet was stopped up and he was cold all night because the heat was inoperable. I called the hotel prior to my arrival the landline wasnt working. I arrived at the hotel I spoke with the manager explained to her what my husband stated. Next the manager tell me the heat is working you just dont know how to work it my husband said the wall unit hasnt worked all night the unit hasnt worked all night. I called back to the desk the manager with anger in her voice as if Im bothering her.. my maintenance guy is busy and Ill run it back by. Him again. Toilet stop up the Property Manager tell the young lady working the shift to tell me that I need to come get the plunger and unstop the toilet. Is there a problem here at the Pearland ghetto laquinta in. In the heart of Pearland. Who wants to be treated so poorly over a simple accommodation. Refund all my money because if I was a Caucasian woman. She would have her a new room if you cant treat people how you want to be treated. Find a job that is not to your liking Im very upset cold and not feeling well.

Unfortunately this was the only La Quinta I have ever stayed in that dissatisfied me. The bathroom in room 322 has mold all over the walls and corners. The morning breakfast was disappointing, no real fresh fruit and the juice machine was out of order. I booked via a 3rd party but have never been so disappointed by a La Quinta. I personally wouldnt visit this location anymore but I still enjoy staying with the hotel chain.

Not a good experience dont want to go back to this place. We order a room for my best friend bachelors party. Wake up the first day and the lady told us we missed breakfast by 30 minutes which was acceptable. It was 930 am. Woke the next morning to leave and head back home to Austin TX. 830 in the morning tried to eat breakfast. No eggs or anything we ask the lady about the breakfast buffet being empty and the lady told us that they stop making breakfast at 8am. Never stayed in a hotel that I couldnt eat breakfast in. So Ill rate my stay from 1 to 10 . Ill give this place a 2. I wouldnt recommend this place to a dog. By the way some they have a raccoon problem.

There was no ice. There was no hot water for bathing. The room stunk like burning rubber. Dirty sheets were left in a pile on one of our beds when we checked in. There was something sticky on the nightstand that looked kind of like bubble gum. Floors were filthy. The washcloths were tattered with holes and one was wet like it had already been used. The towels appeared used and were haphazardly folded and wrinkled. Coffee was cold. Very little breakfast choices. The soft drink fountain was out of order. Gross hotel.

Reservation was screwed over and we were given a king suite with accessibility accommodations. The carpet was stained, the furniture was scratched and wobbly. The entire hotel had this very distinct smell that we just couldnt tolerate. The towels and the carpet were not the cleanest. The ceilings were peeling and the same smell was clinging to the sheets on the bed as well. Not the worst hotel Ive been too and trying not to complain as it was just for a night stay, but it was just uncomfortable to stay for even a night. The staff were super nice and that redeemed the hotel from me giving it a one-star review, but overall I wouldnt;t stay here again.

THE WORST WAS THE MORNING MANAGER, SHE WAS SO RUDE WITH MY KIDS AND NEPHEWS, even with us the parents, she threatned us by calling the police just because we didnt got up right away from our front door in the hall when planning where to eat!! 1 set of towels for a family of 5 for 4 days and 3 nights, only 2 employees for the whole hotel, no breakfast only bags with a muffin, 1 fruit and an apple juice, the list keep going...

Our stay was awful rooms smell like mildew old wet carpet smell. We checked in on Friday and there were only one set of towels. Saturday came around and no towels all day. My family and I came in to Pearland for a weekend get away for Fathers Day. Check in was fine. It wasnt until the next day we were looking for the breakfast as you are entitled to per the benefits while booking. Turns out the breakfast was limited and in small to go bags. The clerk keeps a tally on which rooms receive a bag(s) based on guests listed on your reservation/booking. We also requested fresh towels and was told to we had to bring down our own dirty linen first. Very inconvenient when lodging with small kiddos. I asked if they had housekeeping there, the morning clerk stated Yes, but it doesnt start til 9a so you can wait then if you want. The clerk on Sunday was very rude especially to the elderly customers about the mask requirements. Although the mask mandation in the state of TX is over with, lots of people travel from other cities where it is no longer required as well. The clerk would not help anyone without a mask. Many elderly customers just trying to receive a breakfast bag which they paid for. The clerk also stated they didnt have any masks to give out. The rooms were ok, bruised up furniture, bathrooms were awful and dirty with hair in the shower, toilet was for sure not cleaned prior. Thankfully I had disinfectant wipes to wipe it down. Last but not least, in the ice machine area there were old mattresses and A/C units on the floor just sitting there. Very disgusting. Definitely would prefer a more clean and comfortable hotel elsewhere.

The air conditioner had a smell that gave me a headache. There was a baby snake in the pool and the raccoons at night time in the trash can by the door. Needs major updates. It is not worth it. We booked 2 nights (6/1-2/21}, but left after the first night. The toilet didnt flush properly, the refrigerator didnt work, and the phone cord would not stay connected to the hand set (had to hold it in place to be able to call the front desk).Reported problems 3 times, beginning the first evening after check in. Nothing was done to remedy any of the problems. Requested a new room, but front desk personnel was noncommittal, so we decided to leave, which cut our trip short. Horrible experience!!!! We have stayed at this establishment numerous times, through the years, and we have never had any problems, before. I put our drinks back in the cooler, to ice them down, since the refrigerator did not work. Junk mattresses and air conditioners were thrown in the room with the ice dispenser, and there was trash behind the cabinet holding the refrigerater in our room. This place has really gone downhill since Wyndham took over. We will not stay here again!

Good experience overall, but mask enforce which in my opinion if you enforce so much mask, they should go then rhe whole way with hand sanitizer on all floors. Anyway, I in certain way see the intentions, but if someone enforce the mask, is useless if your hands touch everything else and no hand sanitizers..., only one, at reception.

This hotel accommodates pets with a $50 pet deposit. I checked a relative in with 2 small senior pets with barely any teeth to chew on anything. They sleep mostly for 22 hours everyday. In the middle of the stay, unfortunately, I noticed about a quarter size whole on the wall, which I am pretty sure was there before because, as mentioned, this hotel accommodates dogs, and Ive seen and heard big dogs there during the stay. so I took a picture and upon checking out, showed it to the hotel gm to make sure I don t get charged. I noticed that the same kind of damaged existed throughout the hotel, almost every corner. But they still charged me. This hotel gm Jason guy showed the photo I sent him to a housekeeper, who lied and said she s cleaned that room before and it s never there before. LIE! The similar damage, either from other dogs or poor Sheetrock work, is all over the hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The power went out at this hotel during our stay and they refused to refund us. We paid the hotel to provide adequate lodging for us and our 2- and 3-year-olds during the stay but they failed at that. There isn t a backup power generator or anything. The kids would be freezing inside the hotel room in the cold weather without power and heat. The hotel refused to refund us, even though they most likely have business insurance to cover the loss. Moreover, we were given a room next to the staircase and it was very noisy. During our star, we got waken up each time people go up and down the stairs or open the door.

Last night we flew in from Colorado Springs Co. We live in a state with a mask mandate. We got to Texas and saw everyone at the airport wearing there masks even though Texas has no mask Mandate, we kept wearing our masks. We went to visit with family and then came directly to the hotel and no one was wearing a mask, we assumed we should not wear one either. The next morning I came down to get some coffee and was shooed out of the lobby for not wearing a mask. I then went back to my room retrieved my mask and felt I had to say something to them. I spoke with the general manager I informed her now I will get my coffee and write to corporate about this. We spoke for a while and I told her that we are from out of state and for all we know we dont have to wear a mask at all,the example was set when we arrived. I agree we should have our masks on and probably should have had mine on regardless, I just wanted some coffee. She was correct in what she told me, but she sets the example for all of her staff, if they are letting travelers walk around without mask ultimately it falls on the general manager for not doing her job correctly. I decided not to write corporate in the end and to just tell the public of my story so they are aware of the problem. Other then that the property is clean the rooms are very nice and comfortable and the area seems to be very safe.

Air conditioner would not cool after being on for an hour. I contacted them at 1am (when we learned of it) and they didnt have another room. So I politely asked for a price adjustment and they wouldnt consider it. Im sure the other rooms were fine but be aware that room 311 will not be a pleasant experience. Its rare to have an experience where a hotel refuses to make things right.
