Super cool spot came here during the day. Saw the stage and would love to come see a show the coffees very good but I ordered avocado toast and was chatting with the people behind the counter. They forgot my second egg and happily gave me another one, but I asked them how they were making it because I never seen an egg quite like it . turns out they are microwaving it in a bowl and scrambling it, which I don t mind, but it was extremely salty and peppery and then turns out that there s half-and-half in it which is someone who does not eat dairy would be good to know not necessary

Just love it here! Service is always fast and friendly. I enjoy the food and atmosphere. As a performer, I have got to say that Opening Bell is one of the best listening rooms in North Texas (definitely the best I have performed in). The audience is always receptive, appreciative, and supportive. I enjoy it as an audience member as well. Come by and see for yourself.

I have passed by this spot for months on the route to my vehicle after leaving a class in the same building. Today, I decided to turn around, go downstairs and try some of their fare. We enthusiastically walked in, and was not greeted, acknowledge OR offered service. We stood at the counter for about a minute watching these two women hold a conversation. We rotated all 4-5 five desserts on display to gain a better look. We continued to stand and watch them talk. My son was not pleased, and I was appalled at their lack of professionalism. I will NEVER return to this location!! They suck. They never stopped talking. You wont stay in business long with employees or owners like this!!

I have come here a few times now and their coffee is always good. This time will be about my 4th time coming and this time I m getting kolaches. I got jalapeΓ±o and cheese kolaches for me And sausage and cheese for the security guard at my church. The atmosphere of the place is so cute and cozy. It reminds me of some coffee shops from San Antonio. This coffee place is definitely a go to. Not to mention, it s within an apartment building, which is also next door to an Uber market. Such a cute, homey feel!

Ill never go back, and I hope every business that is supporting the new digital currency social credit scoreing zero privacy comply or have your bank shut down and travel restricted globalist agenda are boycott right out of business, and are replaced by businesses that actually love America and the opportunity for freedom, business and wealth only available here. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the lack of accessibility for individuals with mobility impairments at your establishment, Opening Bell Coffee. My friend and I, one of whom relies on a walker due to brain surgery, recently visited your location and encountered significant obstacles when attempting to access the facility. Upon arrival, we discovered that the main entrance was solely accessible via stairs, with no clear notifications or signage indicating an alternative route for individuals with disabilities. Regrettably, there was no hostess or staff member present at the main entrance to assist or provide guidance on accessible entry points. After contacting the establishment, the worker on the phone admitted that the main entrance lacked accessibility for individuals with disabilities. It was disheartening to hear that your facility does not prioritize or accommodate individuals with mobility challenges adequately. Furthermore, the worker struggled to articulate an alternative route, initially offering a vague description of sliding doors before recalling that all the doors were broken. The only suggestion provided was to wait for someone to exit, hoping for the possibility of access through that means. This experience was not only inconvenient but also deeply discriminatory. Every individual should have the right to access public spaces without facing unnecessary hurdles or being made to feel unwelcome. The lack of proper accommodations and the dismissive approach to addressing accessibility concerns are unacceptable and contravene the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I strongly urge Opening Bell Coffee to take immediate and comprehensive action to rectify this issue. It is imperative that you make necessary modifications to ensure full compliance with ADA standards, including clear signage for accessible entry points and functional access for individuals with mobility impairments. I sincerely hope that this incident serves as a catalyst for positive change in your establishments accessibility practices. Every person deserves equal access to public spaces, and it is crucial to foster an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone without discrimination. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining the steps being taken to address this matter and the timeline for implementing necessary changes to ensure accessibility for all patrons. Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

Coffee is good. We ordered 2 avocado toasts online, and were pretty disappointed. $10 for a very plain piece of bread and maybe 1/4 avocado with salt, pepper, oil, and maybe a touch of lemon. This price typically yields some great bread or some additional toppings, at least an egg (which we expected as pictured while ordering online where there was no other description of what was included). Just very overpriced for very subpar. Also could improve understanding of what youre actually getting online.

The place is super cute and the music is great but it took over 35 minutes to get 4 drinks and 4 breakfast croissants and there was only 1 person in front of us. The croissants were burnt and flavorless.

Very cool spot to lounge around, drink and jam out to some live music. I went at night when their was live sound going, which is great. Had wine & tried their Irish coffee. Definitely a must try if youre into that environment. I went during the day but no live music. Not sure if it was timing or they only play at night. But yeah, i suggest popping in at night

Very nice coffee place with live entertainment at times. I enjoyed their Chai latte but they have sweets as well. I suggest this for first dates and just getting away by yourself. Easy to find as its opposite of the Canvas Hotel. ENJOY!

Great place to get a cup of coffee. It wasnt crowded when I went, but I imagine seating would be tough to find if it were. Not a large amount of tables, but very comfortable relaxing coffee shop. Coffee quality seemed better than average.

One of my favorite places to work in Dallas. The sandwiches are the best coffeeshop sandwiches I have ever had. Croissants are always fresh. Love the local vendor support and history of supporting local musicians. Great place for writers and students( I wrote so many papers here) Service is always great it is small so expect to wait.

I went for the Motown Review. I will say the establishment is so very coffee housey, the staff was cool, and the artists were very talented. I gave it 3 stars for lack of diversity. Also, some of the songs picked to sing were not even from Motown artists. Maybe some folks dont want to expand or change it up a little. You all do need some color around there and just not on the walls. Overall, it was still a decent way to spend a Saturday night.

One of my favorite coffee shops! The building its in is absolutely gorgeous!! Love all the art! The employees were great. The iced vanilla orange chai was absolutely heavenly! Lots of fun, unique coffee served here. Also love the variety of snacks/pastries. They have healthy options available as well which is nice.

Ive always had a great time when visiting Opening Bell. Great coffee, great service, and a relaxing environment to meet up with friends or knock out some work on a laptop. Ive never had a bad experience here and for quite some time this was my home office away from home.

This is a real coffee shop, not your typical snobby chain. Such electric style. During the day you can find delicious cinnamon rolls and muffins to accompany your coffee. While at night you can relax with a beer listening to live music. Lots of indoor seating with a couple of tables outside. If you live in south side on lamar you can even get delivery!
