Stumbled upon this hidden gem! We tried The Best Pad Thai and it lived up to the name. Seriously some of the best tempura shrimp I ve ever had. The batter and crisp were perfection. The flavors of the Pad Thai were seriously wonderful! We will definitely be back! Thanks for amazing food and a fun atmosphere.

I found this amazing new food trailer that has authentic Thai food. This morning when getting breakfast at Daves Tacos I noticed a new food truck next to Daves Tacos, it was closed so I asked Dave about the trailer. Dave said that they will open for lunch today for the first time in Austin. and highly recommended them. My wife and I came for lunch to try this new food trailer and OMG! this is the real deal. I ordered the GN8 Shrimp Southern Noodle and my wife had the GN7 Black Pepper Noodle. Hands down the best Thai food we have had in years! I really Highly recommend stopping by, you will not be disappointed.

OMG!!!!! This might be some of the best Thai food that I have had in decades. Decided to try it on a whim and I am so happy that we did. Great portions for the price which will give you 2 to 3 meals out of one order. The food is so fresh and tastes amazing. Throughout the meal, we couldn t stop commenting on how great the food was. My boyfriend and I eat here frequently! The food is fantastic!! But the service is why Gotji s is our favorite, everyone is always very kind!! I always get the street fried noodles, I m not a big fan of spice and they ve even taken the extra step to make a special sweeter sauce for my food without even being asked!!! Delicious!! Had the red curry, veg spring rolls, and Tom Kha soup. Im a creature of habit - if I like something, I stick to it, so Ive been driving to my go-to spot near downtown Austin. No more!! This is now my go-to spot. Will definitely be back. 10/15/23 UPDATE: Holy deliciousness I ordered the crab fried rice yesterday. Wow! Get it! I might go back for more today. Am I crazy?!? Lol. So GOOD! Also, something I noticed yesterday... the guy taking the orders is so dang friendly while I was waiting for my order, two women walked up to look at the menu. He opened his window and said hello. They barely acknowledged him, lol. I dont think they were trying to be rude, just different social norms, i guess. It just stood out to me... I can no longer say there isn t any good Asian food in Buda/Kyle cause this place is amazing! Food was so flavorful, good portions and comparably priced. The guys in the truck are incredibly kind too. We tried to order online but noticed that we weren t able to customize our heat/spicy preference so we ordered at the truck and got our food within 10 mins. Highly recommend! The food and service were outstanding. We had coconut soup, street noodles, pad Thai, vegetarian egg rolls. We ordered online and picked up. It was quickly prepared and just perfect. My brother and I stopped in from SA, on the way to a concert in Austin. We needed some energy and good food, for the mosh pit, so we decided to look around. We love Gotji! We mostly do Togo and everything we ve had traveled well. We ve had the pad Thai, several of the fried rice variations and the curry. Flavors are fresh. Service is extremely friendly and orders have been ready when they say it would be. And if you re lucky enough to catch them when they sell the chili oil get it while you can. It s perfectly spicy and nice to have in the fridge.

Gotji himself is an extremely nice young man who intricately prepares your entree with such love and care. My father is a 94yr old Korean War Vet who loves Thai food. We live in Buda now and just happened upon his trailer. Papa likes his food spicy (which showed 2 chili peppers). He ordered the #1 which consisted of shrimp, scallops, mussels he usually has more than half of his meal for leftovers but he inhaled about 3/4 of his delicious meal. I ordered the crab rice, having NO leftovers. Loved it!!! We ll be back very soon. Thanks Gotji!

First time trying it tonight! The person who took my order was so lovely and kind. He gently suggested I add the chili and lime and gave me an additional small garlic sauce to sprinkle over the top. There is a reason this is 5 stars! Tom Kha was legit. So fresh and flavorful. Red Curry beef was very flavorful, had a TON of veggies and mild spice (I like pretty hot so this may be spicy for some). Gotjis Larb Beef was good but will go for the Pad Thai next. The food was ready on a Friday night really quickly for take out. Friendly service.

My new Thai favorite! For the longest time Ive been ordering from the only Thai place I knew in Buda and one day I discovered you guys. Online ordering was so easy, lots of parking, friendly service and the best part, the FOOD is just so damn amazing, tastes fresh, delightfully seasoned, the price for the meals for the quality and portions is a steal. Loved the fruit gummies in my togo bag, yumm. What we ordered for lunch was Pork Eggrolls, Roasted Chili Noodles with chicken and Crab Fried Rice. Seriously some of the best food ive had in a long time. I had the best curry and it truly was the best curry. With the addition of mussels and crab I think $15 is a great price for some quality food. Now coming back to texas from colorado, i missed authentic thai food, luckily there was one right up the way from me! I always passed it when i go into town but one day i decided to go there. Some will find the authentic style different than other area Thai restaurants, which is what I call mexi-Thai as they will use jalapeño for spice. Gotjis nicely features a lot of seafood dishes. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I appreciated that they customized ingredients per my request. If you ever enjoyed authentic Thai cooking, you will find this a true gem!

We live outside of Dripping Springs and wanted to try this Thai Food truck located about one hour drive from our house. Since they have two menus, one for each half of the week we made sure to call ahead. We were told that there was some event that Sunday, yesterday, and there may be a problem with parking. The event was 3.5 miles away and there is parking behind the food truck. No problem, we thought. After arriving in the vicinity, the streets were closed. We had to park several blocks away and arrived around 5 mins. before their listed opening time, 12PM. Once there, we noticed a red sign in the middle asking to call ahead with your order so you dont have to wait that long. A man appeared at the window and announced that they will not be open until another 10 mins. I asked if we could at least place our order. He just slid the windows shut. Since it was now 3 mins. to 12, I decided to call and place our order over the phone as the sign suggested. As I placed the call, I saw the same guy slide over to his phone and turn off the ringer. I hang up and we quickly fled the site. Though, Thai food is mostly rice or noodles with some protein and spices, their prices are pretty high. Not only that, it turned out they just recently added an average of $2 to all of their prices. Authentic Pad Thai: $17). We still cant figure out why Texas food trucks in general, with no overhead really to speak off, must have prices higher than brick and mortar restaurants? The menu posted on the truck still had the old prices, just to make sure to add to the confusion. Finally, after not answering my call 3 mins. before 12, as we were driving back home, they call me twice. Really? Never again.

Excellent! Best Thai food I ve had in a long time. We ordered Green Curry, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Ka Prao Gai and veggie egg rolls. Everything was delicious and balanced. My favorite was probably the Pad Ka Prao Gai, stir-fried ground chicken dish served with a garlic fish sauce and rice. Look forward to trying more things on the menu!

Incredible food. I had the Best Pad Thai (T1) and Pork Eggrolls (T2) - it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The Pad Thai is unlike any Thai food I have ever had, in the best way. We eat Thai food at least once a week and have some favorites around Austin but this may be our new favorite. The egg rolls were perfect! The Tom Kha was the best I have had in this area. I have eaten alot of Thai food all over Central Texas this trailer wasnt bad. The basil fried rice had good flavor but the wok wasnt hot enough to really make it fried rice. The #1 best pad thai wasnt bad I have to admit I have eaten more American style pad thai than traditional but it was good my only complaint was that two of the muscles in mine didnt open so didnt eat them flavor was good. But my favorite part was the garlic chili fish sauce they gave me on the side I love fish sauce. The veggie egg rolls wernt bad look forward to trying different menu items next time I go because this is the best thai food south of slaughter lane...

I ve been to a lot of Thai places around the Austin area, and this is the best. This is my third visit this month. The seafood is what to come for, but they also have chicken and tofu. I don t think they even serve beef, but I don t miss it! Mussels, crab, shrimp, squid, all of it has been great. They kick things up a bit from what most area Thai places do, and it s well worth it! The seafood Pad Kee Mao and the Street Fried Noodle (similar to Pad See Ew) are my favorites so far, but I think I m going to work my way all the way through the menu.

I lived in Kyoto, Japan, for years where they claim they have the best tofu in the world. I have also traveled all over Asia, including Thailand. Needless to say, I love Asian food and am always on the lookout for a good restaurant. Gotji s Kitchen did not disappoint. In fact, their tofu was the best tofu I have ever tasted, both in Massachusetts, where I used to live, and in the Austin area. I would go so far as to say that this is my favorite Thai restaurant as well. I ordered the American Pad Thai and asked them to make it slightly sweet, and they adjusted their delicious recipe to perfection. I also ordered their red curry with chicken. Yum. The chicken was so moist and not dry as is so often the case in other restaurants. I also ordered the Tom Yum soup. Fantastic. I shared this takeout meal with my neighbor last night for dinner. She raved at how delicious the food was. It was such a pleasant way to spend the evening with a friend after being Covid-isolated at home this past year. Thank you Gotji s Kitchen. I will be coming back regularly.

We found our Thai in Buda. The red or green curry is not terribly spicy, but tickles just enough, and contains solid veg ingredients with choice of chicken or tofu.
