Babyyyyyyyy let me tell you, those oxtails and cabbage were delicious. The homemade fries were everything. I caught the happy hour on Reggae night and was LITTTTTT. Also tried their wings which were good as well. I didnt care for the lemon pepper seasoning though. I will definitely be going back. Our waitress Maria was very sweet and took care of us. I also tried a jamaican beef patty for the first time and let me say I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUTTTT.

This is the worst place ever!!! The owner accused me of smoking weed and kicked me out. I was just sitting outside and talking to my friends on the patio because it was cold inside. He claimed he saw me smoking on camera and I put it out. My friends and I were confused and kept telling the owner we are not smoking anything. Then he got the bouncer to come escort me out. It was extremely embarrassing and wrong. Ridiculous, I just came out to have a good time. Never smoked anything. You can clearly see on the camera nothing ever happened. I will never come here again!!!! The owner of this place is extremely rude and delusional.

Aldeez has good food & nice menu options. My favorite are the rice and peas and brown stew chicken. The chicken is a good texture and seasoned well; perfectly not too heavy. The rice and peas taste authentic to Caribbean style. The rice is nice & fluffy, and the peas not crunchy. Im not sure if they add coconut cream to their rice & peas, but nevertheless its tasty. The atmosphere is nice. The food arrival can sometimes be a wait, but its because they are usually always busy, however Ive never went and wasnt acknowledged immediately or shortly after arrival. The staff is well mannered.

I come here every first Monday of the month for the Monday Night Kizomba class and social. The staff are nice, the food is good, and the party atmosphere is just right. I usually either get coconut shrimp, jerk shrimp, or fried plantains since it isnt too heavy to eat before dancing.

the black american slim lady dark skinned who alwys wears a cap, bartender copied my card and swiped around $1100 on my card and that was 3 months ago and the piece of shxtt still works here. i called the manager about the issue then and he cut me off. im guessing its what he hired them to do in his establishment. such a shame. The issue was reported to police and my money was paid back but she lives on like she didn t violate my personal life and space.

I give it a 10 on the food the Jerk Chicken with white rice amazing the cabbage was cooked to perfection. The Long Island Iced Tea lemme tell u Im from Louisiana n it was close to a walk with Jesus minus the blue lacure. U only need 1 in other words. The music was on point the server water her name was I forgot after the LIT But she took orders kept everyone what they needed she even refilled hookahs and coals I tipped her well because I seen how much work she put in. I will definitely want her her every time I come because I will be back. Thanks for a amazing night. Only thing needs improvement is I couldnt read my menu it was too dark at my table I had to go to the bar. Fix that and u got a 5 restaurant and club.

I really enjoy the food here! The jerk & curry chicken are great. The goat is awesome too. I love getting the amount of food that I get for the price. I often eat off of one meal for two days. The rum punch is good. Cant wait for them to start back making it again. Very authentic tasting. Parking: If you go during the day the parking is plentyful and easy to access. Evening Friday - Saturday the parking is not good because they share a parking lot with other businesses that have crowds in the evening.

I love the food here and have supported this business for several years prior to moving to this new location. Unfortunately, my last visit was very upsetting. I had ordered take out and all parking spaces in front of restaurant were marked as valet that was controlled by this restaurant. I had nowhere to park to run in and get my order that was ready. The men working in valet were rude and wouldnt allow me to park for 5 minutes to run in and grab an order that was ready. They were trying to charge for parking. I ended up having to risk my car being towed and hit by parking in an back alley. Afterwards, I vowed this was my last time supporting this business. As much as I enjoy the food, I will not risk my safety or risk my vehicle getting towed in order to support a business that doesnt care to provide parking for its customers ordering take out dining. So sad I am not returning but I refuse after my last experience!

Such a lovely experience and exceptional service. First with Gigi at the bar. The most Amazing welcome and great customer service. Very attentive and made us feel so special. She made us the most amazing rum punch. We then moved to the patio where we had amazing service from Bridget. She kept on checking on us and also had great customer service. We will definitely be back and will be my new Happy Hour Friday spot. The oxtail and peas and rice and cabbage were so good. Great seasoning and flavor. We sat down at the restaurant and had water brought to us but the water tasted off so we ordered sodas because that would be a safe bet right? Wrong. The sodas didnt even come in a can and were so flat they tasted like they had been sitting out for 3 days. We then proceeded to wait for 30 minutes before we got our food. The food was okay at best and wasnt anything special. Overall I will not be coming back to this place. I have no idea how it got rated 4.1 stars but that is definitely not the real rating. Heed my warning and dont come if youre coming for the food.

To me that shows that they do care about their customer s experience and that they are striving to make things better! I love that!! I think that we may give them another try! Thank you! Husband and I gave this place a try after our normal Jamaican restaurant was closed. Upon entry the glass doors were dirty but we overlooked and dined in anyway. The greeting was pretty good. It wasn t busy. The waitress started off being okay. The rum punch was good. We ordered beef patties for appetizers, they were good. For our meal, I ordered the jerk snapper with peas and rice, cabbage, plaintains, and cassava. My husband ordered snapper escovitch, rice and peas, and Mac and cheese. The food came out and it looked absolutely delicious, but flies also came out with the fish and from my experience when flies accompany fish, the fish is bad. Although I was immediately losing my appetite, I tried the fish anyway. It was very salty and those darn flies would not stop! I really hate complaining so we asked for to go boxes due to the flies. The waitress seemed to be offended because although she apologized, she followed up with an excuse that people were coming in and out so flies were coming in when the door opened. No one came in or left after us. She also said plus, it s fish . WHAT!? I love fish, snapper in particular, and NOT once have I ever had flies swarming my meal. She also waited at our table for us to pay while we boxed the food. It gave she thought we weren t going to pay. I really wish we would ve just left the food and not paid! Our bill was over $100, which is what we expected but we didnt expect rotten fish. We gathered the food and just threw it in the trash. I think I m more annoyed at myself for not speaking up and paying. Needless to say, we won t be back. If our original place is closed, it s way worth it to just wait until they re open!

The waitresses are very nice and attentive when it comes to taking your order because the music is loud and exrated you have to pretty much yell and do sign suggestions. I dont like eating in the dark and I never will theres no lights only around the bar area. The music and eating in the dark is a NO for me. I gave a 4 star because of the food and service overall. This was my BIRTHDAY choice as I visited Dallas. Headed back to Houston. Bye

I m upset I haven t gotten around to trying the food here and it s right down the street from my house until today. The food was amazing. I saw a lot of comments about the service and the wait but I didn t deal with any of that due to the fact that I order my food online in advance and picked it up on a Monday. I placed my order, waited about 25 minutes to pick it up and it was ready to go. It was hot and fresh. I m sure it s different in-person on the weekend when they are busier. I got the oxtail plate with Mac and cabbage. I also got a side order of jerk chicken. I was impressed with the portion sizes and the flavor. For the price I paid it was definitely fair for the amount of food I received. Everything was flavorful and tender. I will definitely be coming back.

I went yesterday because of the reviews I seen on here but now I m subject to believe their fake. Customer service was not that good. Was not greeted when I walked in, just stared at and the girl behind the bar was dry. I was given the incorrect order and then had to wait for it to be fixed just for the chicken to come out dry. Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft box mac and cheese. Only good thing was the cabbage. I also told her I had no sauce in my bag and she proceeded to feel through my bag as if I was lying and brung the sauce back with an attitude. Highly do not recommend.

I usually order take out here. I love love love the curry goat dinner with macaroni and Jollof rice with curry gravy on the rice. It s sooooo good! I tried their jerk chicken for the first time today, their jerk chicken is good. The sauce not so much but I haven t found any restaurant in DFW with good jerk sauce, thankfully Aldeez put the jerk sauce on the side. 10/10. I ve had their carry out multiple times this year. Never had an issue with the quality.

The night I went Wednesday night the Mexican guy bartender was rude. I asked for a manager and the manager sent the bouncer who some what assisted but I wonder if he will really say anything to bartender. He tossed the card machine at me cuz he was mad.which I am not paying anyone with a attitude who does that. After the bouncer came by I spoke to him and paid I looked at my bank statement and he charged me for drinks then some other unvalid charge. I do not recommend the Mexican server he needs to learn manners especially in a black establishment and management needs to be quicker and not judge someone saying this is the 2nd time a person had a problem well check your bartenders attitude a patron shouldnt have to complain 2 times.

Due to the bad weather I better call to see if Aldeez was open. It was, I was greeted on the phone by a nice woman. Sure, we are open, waiting for you. Drive safe. Tried this place because they had pretty decent reviews. Unfortunately, they did not meet our expectations. I gave them 1 star because their beef samosas were really good. HOWEVER, I ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas with a side of plantains. There was plenty of food on the plate. Presentation was nice. As I went to eat my chicken, IT WAS COLD!! Not warm, COLD! Who serves cold chicken? Then the server asked if I wanted her to microwave it!! I was done at that point. The rice and peas were dry and the plantains were also dry and hard. My guest had oxtail and it was COLD and he did not like the flavor at all. We really wanted to like this place but it s a HARD NO!!

This is a regular stop when in Dallas area. The food is always good. It s authenticate in its flavors and prepared to satisfy the non accustomed palate as well as the native. The Snapper and Tilapia are always prepared well. Either steamed or fried. The Jollof Rice is a must try for those who like a spicy rice dish. It s Gambian Jollof. Awesome. Hot food strong drinks. Portions getting smaller. In more recent times tried to put in a catering order for Dec 2022. The staff member that answered after 7pm was kind. Called the next day (Friday) about 11am and staff member was beyond rude and could care less. So much in fact she stated: You need to call back tonight for the night shift cause I dont know what you were told and I dont cover that shift! AND hung up! This behavior is why black businesses fail. Unfortunately the catering order, the New Years luncheon, and the referral I wanted to give them had to be reconsidered.

I love the other location better. They need to teach there Bartender better customer service skills . I was sitting at the bar about to order a drink and I had already ordered my food . As I was in the middle of ordering a drink . When this guy walks up and rudely interrupted me. Instead of the Bartender finishing up my order she makes his drink . Im like Wow.. Hands down the food is amazing. It has a home cooked feel. I had the curry shrimp with sautéed spinach and Jollof. My friend had the jerk chicken, macaroni, and vegetable fried rice. We shared the goat pepper soup and it was AMAZING. Tender meat. Also the drinks are good.

I ve been eating at this spot for 4 years and those 4 years have been great. The new location is closer but I must say the experience was uncomfortable. Music is extremely loud. I didn t like that they turned all lights off in the table area while people are still eating. They should keep the lights dim. My last review rating was 5 stars but with this new change I had to adjust. Disappointed placed to go order of curry chicken, rice & pea, and jollof rice on 12/3/22. Everything tasted bad. The recipe has been changed. The food appearance was even different. Also, my food tasted burnt.
