So I used to go here about 7 to 9 months back till i was told told not to come back for a month for being wrongly accused and or complained about for nothin without any explanation. So i have now decided to leave a review after givin some time to see if anything can be remedied. Well i guess not. Went back after month and was told I still cant come I and contribute to the bar. Months later still no explanation. I hate to say it but this place has some hater vibes from some folks and part of the staff at times. And no i do not mean the dive bar type of sheeit talk banter that is meant to be the banter that buddies for yrs would be like. Its actual genuine hater vibes at times. Though there are some cool and nice customers and some cool staff too, here and there. I liked the vibe and some of the people. But its goin to be hard to run a business when ya run off solid customers and good people that are willin to buy your merchandise and tell others about the place. Yeah I had bought a shirt from this place like a month or less before I got booted. For like 35 or 40 bucks cause I felt like havin one of their shirts and wanted to contribute. Even though thats a bit steep for a shirt. Then soon after I get booted on false claims with no proof or explanation of what exactly it was. In the past I had heard some customers say in conversation they had not bought certain drinks or were over charged as we were kicking it outside just talkin. And have overheard the distaste of the energy at times as well. I know that since this place was purchased by new owners which I know who they are and yes yall have my contact info or should know how to get ahold of me personally. But since they bought it this palce has gradually lost its touch. But I hope this place can turn things around and or allow me to come back I like metal and biker bars and there isnt many around and deep ellum needs a solid one.and this place has mad potential. There are some other issue I would like to possibly address. But not in Google review out of respect for the bar. But cant do that till they want to address it and contact me. Though for those that see my review ya do what ya will with this info as a review but I am honest and want nothin but kickazz vibes for all. Though sometimes not all do.

Horrible place. They let veterans get walked on by people talking smack about people families deaths and cancer. Do not support this establishment. FYI To the owner who left comment. First of all we do not degrade women as we support the largest breast cancer foundation in the state of Texas and secondly we have not been in Reno s in over 5 years and were never banned so you claiming we been in there the past few years is getting us mixed up with obviously some one else. Dave M. Was the owner last time we ever stepped in Reno s and my family is painted on your walls. We personally knew Brandon, Josh, Dime, Vinnie, and Dave Reno. If you actually knew us you would know we are the biggest supporters of Reno s long before you bought it from Dave M. 20 years of our lives were in that place and banning veterans of Reno s that put more money into the place than most of anyone that walks in there shows your lack of respect and knowledge of who we really are. Enjoy dead end of Reno s as of now you lost all respect from all of the true family of deep ellum. It s sad Amber was one of our favorite bar tenders that we always support her with good music like 12 foot ninja along side Jim who always sharpened my knife s every Sunday funday bike night. (Yes I worked there during this time also) Sad your lack of knowledge of who we are makes your place nothing but garbage. It s another reason Dave sold out due to location failure and not able to keep employees.

Its a heavy metal dive bar wonderland. Its unpretentious. Cheap drinks. Strong drinks. Cold drinks. Theres a painting of Vinnie Paul on the wall, looking over you like a benevolent patron saint of alcohol. You like rock and roll? You like booze? You like tattoos? Then youll love Renos. Apparently the building used to be a strip club, which may explain all the bras and dollas. Or maybe that just happens.

The staff is kind and friendly except for the woman at the bar, she has a terrible attitude, she makes an annoyed face, I think she is not happy with her job and she looks at us as if we were asking for alms, I act friendly and she is arrogant I dont know if she is the owner or employee but she has a terrible attitude, she makes people not return to the place

I love metal and dive bars so this place was awesome. So much of deep Ellum has gone away or gone corporate so this place was perfect for us. Twp pool tables were the reason we came and were surprised and happy we did. Dont think they serve food, but I could be mistaken. In any case theres food around including a Mexican street walk up directly opposite the place. Will go again next trip to Dallas. Rock on.

Grungy biker and local bar. Stiff drinks and kick @ss music! Saw some Denver artists here, RED STINGER! was amazing and high energy. This place needs better exposure for local bands. Great little venue! Bartenders knew how to make a drink and service was fast. Parking was easy. Watched some karaoke after the show, not bad.

Place used to be cool, good vibes and bartenders, was attending the place for about 10 years, last few times we went one of the bartenders (Braden) tried to fight me and my friends for really no reason, sucks they lost loyal costumers over this guy who is like 50 was trying to fight us with a bat and 2 Uber over weight bodyguards by her side, never coming back, used to be a good spot! This used to be my favorite place to spend time AND money. However; they lost my respect and money when they called security on me and kicked me out because someone stole my quarters for the billiards table and the bartender immediately called for security when I expressed my concern for my personal lack of Financials. I inquired about the obvious security cameras and why they werent being used properly and instantly got security called on me to booted out. Also, SOMETIMES, not all the time, the bar staff will decline any transactions under $10 because they claim they dont make any money. So, have fun, I guess.

They dont serve food and they dont have a kitchen but across the street is they taqueria that has a wide variety of menu items that is an excellent choice for that area of deep ellum a highly recommend going there and looking at their menu and and trying something that everything on the menu is awesome and Renos chop shop and they got bike nights up there The bar has pretty much anything and everything that you could want to drink they have a few pool tables in there the atmospheres always on point if youre into the kind of crowd that hangs out there look them up its a fun place man where you have a bike or not.

I wanted to have a drink with an old friend on the terrace for literally 10 minutes. He was already there, didnt get charged admission fee. The lady at the door wanted to charge me admission fee as they will have a band playing. There was nobody playing at the time, it was around 6-7pm... Let me be honest, I really dont enjoy the place, because We, my husband and I were supposed to be there for a guided tour, but let me tell you, while we were there the bartender, the people, and the environment were gray. Cranberry vodka was clear, so I dont believe they put cranberry in it. Also cant take drinks outside for a smoke, so ended up sitting inside for the group to finish their drinks and then go outside. Would be easier if you just let them take their drinks with them to smoke. Edit to reply to owner: it was the sign on the door that says no drinks outside that made me think that.

Went here once back in 2013 while me and my buddy were in town to watch the Eagles clinch the NFC east. This was easily our favorite place we stopped at. Took a bunch of shots once we realized it was custom to throw the empty cups on top of the bar. Overall had an awesome time. I just found a t shirt from here, thats what made me look it up again. If Im ever back in town itll be my first stop. Loses a star just because its in Dallas and as a Philadelphian, nothing can be 5 stars in Dallas. Lol

This is one of the best kept secrets of Deep Ellum. You have a killer bar in the front and then an awesome live space in the back. I play with Punch Monkey and we had a blast playing there. So it has both elements, cool hang out bar and love music. Plus in the middle of our set, JUDY DANIELS showed up!!!! OMG. She lit up the room! It almost made me break a string.
