The atmosphere in Coupes is well designed and is a great place to meet up for drinks before a nice dinner. The interior is well thought out and the furniture seems of high quality. We came for their happy hour and were impressed by the prices. We ended up getting an old fashioned, french 75, and the croquettes. The portion of the croquettes was large considering their 5 dollar cost; however, I felt like the flavor was just ok. The french 75 did not taste balanced and the old fashioned was pretty watery. Overall, I was disappointed by my experience here and probably would not come back.

Popped by and tried some flights of champagne after a huge steak dinner nearby. we sat at the bar and our servers were great at sharing their knowledge with us about all the various champagnes we tried. Would love to come by and try their food some time, the menu seems innovative.

Everything you would want in a champagne bar! Coupes exceeded our expectations. The food and service were excellent. We had the truffle waffle fries, quiche Lorraine, and Croque Madame. The quiche Lorraine was the best I have ever had. My friend, who doesnt particularly care for dessert, almost ate our entire slice of white chocolate almond cake. Every detail, from the ambiance and playlist to the Veuve Clicquot candle in the bathroom, was spot on. Loved it so much, Ill be back in a few days and plan to be a regular.

I visited as a solo patron. The menu is composed of mainly drinks and there are some small plates. Brian greeted me upon entry and assisted me at the bar. He provided me a complimentary glass and snack of popcorn. There are no tvs which provides a very intimate setting. Also, the lights dimmed when the sun set, which I liked. Brian was very nice!

Spent the evening here with good friends... from the hosts greeting to the grateful wave goodbye, everything was wonderful. The vibe is youthful, sleek and snappy. We tried some flights in order to learn more about different champagnes and then settled on a delicious bottle of Champagne Lilbert Fils propriétaire-récoltant à Cranant, Grand cru Blanc de Blancs -Accueil. We also tried a delightful chocolate torte with a raspberry creme sauce. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and happy to make suggestions based on our taste and price preferences. Highly recommend for date night, girls night or couples night!

Elegant without being fussy, this not-a-restaurant-but-has-spectacular-noshes-with-a-diverse-selection-of-true-Champagnes is a shining, bubbly star in Dallas. The service was impeccable, and our server educated us without being condescending. He was also available without interrupting our evening. We loved the circular bar (look up and yes, it s a coupe, clever interior design!) with the ice ring in the middle holding various bubblies, and the banquette tables also have sunken ice buckets to keep the Champagne cold (another great idea). The bar also features signature cocktails, but the true pull to Coupes is the sophisticated atmosphere and, as the name implies, the Champagnes. A delight to visit and we will be back.

We had chosen Coupes for a Moms Happy Hour for our local private school. I reached out a few months prior to see if we could reserve the front area, as there could be 15-18 of us, but they said we would need to do a partial buyout , preorder food and have a $65 minimum per guest. We opted to just make a simple reservation for 3 tables of 6. They reached out the day before to confirm it wasnt a duplicate, I explained our situation, and the manager said she would try to accommodate us in the front space but made sure to inform me several times that this area warranted a minimum per each guest with preordered food. So much so, I was considering moving our party all together because of the treatment I received prior to even walking into this establishment. Fast forward to the next evening, we arrive and there was only 1 or 2 parties of 2-4 people in the entire restaurant. We were thrilled to have the place basically to ourselves. We had a great waiter who was very attentive and accommodating to a larger party. He was also very accommodating and allowed for each of us to be on a separate check. We didnt realize tip was included, but had no issue tipping beyond what was already built into our tab. When a few of us went to leave, their security guard blocked the door and told us we were not allowed to leave. I was shocked, I thought something terrible had happened and we were on lockdown for some reason. Turns out, the manager was blocking anyone from leaving saying we didnt pay our tab. The waiter rushed over to say we paid and to let us leave. We did still have 10 women who hadnt paid, as they were still eating and drinking, and continuing to order. I had never been treated so poorly in a restaurant, let along, have had someone basically hold us hostage for no warranted reason. There was maybe 10 total customers come in besides us for the 2-3 hours we were there. We were polite, ordered plenty of food and drinks, paid our tab, etc. Do not waste your time or money here, as they treat their customers like criminals.

Coupes has become a new favorite pre-dinner/happy hour destination for us. They have a great selection of champagne, of course, but also good cocktails for anyone not in the mood for bubbles. The selection of food has all been great for sharing, but Im partial to the truffle popcorn, which is dangerous with discounted refills. The real selling point for me is the interior. Very chic and great booths and couches for big parties to get together.

Loved getting to taste actual Champagne options and learn about them. You can purchase by the bottle, glass or flight. There are full cocktails options as well so you don t have to drink just champagne. Options to reserve soft seating areas feel semi private. Otherwise there is plenty of bar seating, tables and booths. The bathrooms are even amazing too. I highly recommend the experience. Perfect to celebrate special occasions.

This is the second time I ve been to Coupes and second worthy of a 5 star review. First time I came alone and sat at the bar and tried a couple of drinks including the champagne sampler. Since I loved the atmosphere and service so much i brought some recently engaged friends here for a quick celebratory drink and photo session. Excellent service again and fantastic communication with the manager on scheduling time for us to take some photos and enjoy some champagne. Will definitely be back to try the food sometime!

Whole-heartedly welcomed and made to feel at home. I can t say enough about the hospitality but to top-it -off the assortment of wine and champagne is amazing, not to mention the superb mixed drinks. Over-the-top chef prepared appetizers, meals and the most beautiful, amazing desserts. I cannot say enough about this unique little establishment. Words cannot describe!! Just amazing!!

Some friends and I came here for a celebration and we did our best to make a lackluster experience positive but it was a challenge. The best things here are the decor and some of the champagnes. The customer service was subpar. Not terrible but it definitely could have been better, especially considering that there were only about 4 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Now on to the food. We ordered many appetizers and at best a few were edible and at worst disappointing! What stood out to me were the caviar eggs. They give a new meaning to deviled . They were certainly God forsaken and I ve had caviar before so that wasn t the issue. The egg tasted like what I imagine a rotten egg would taste like. Overall we all expected more. This place really needs to step up their game because in a city like Dallas there are always restaurants that are literally serving and serving well.

Came to Coupes to bring in my new year. Actually bought a couple girl pals with me and we were underwhelmed. The champagne selections were great but of course overpriced (I guess for convenience & ambience). The food was the most disappointing. Coupes serves small plates , so we ordered many options. The tots were comparable to McDonald s hash browns and the tomato salad was literally sliced tomatoes on a plate. Disappointing.

This place is overhyped and overpriced. The decor is upscale, but lacks personality and originality. The small bites are subpar at best. We went for a girls night and it nearly turned into a snooze fest. We had to go elsewhere to salvage the night. Bottom line: There are much better places to spend your time and money across the metroplex. Don t waste either here.

I simply adore coupes. Love the decor and ambiance. I have been several times in the evening but came for brunch. We had the truffle fries and fizzy fruit for appetizers. There are some places that are truly so unique in their execution that they are emphatically one of a kind, of their own genre and without derivative. A dining experience such that if you moved to a new city, it would offer nothing similar or divine enough to satiate the desire to experience it again. Coupes is one of those places.

Came for the drinks, stayed for the food. In all seriousness the speciality drinks were disappointing. We did however get a decent martini and old fashioned. The star, to our suprise, was the food. We started with the deviled eggs which were perfectly made, and delicious. We then had the grilled cheese on sourdough bread which was phenomenal. Crunchy, savory and absolutely decant. We then had the steak tartar, again nothing short of phenomenal when you consider these plates to be an amuse bouche in a bar. We ended with the truffles which again were light and delicious and a perfect way to end. We will be returning for the great snacks!

It s a relatively new place, so a lot of things are still being worked out. We had a huge issue with gnats flying around and into our drinks. When we alerted our server and the manager, they claimed it was part of it. I ve never heard of a restaurant having gnats as part of the ambiance. Especially given that we came at 4pm during indoor only service (windows closed).

This bar was not only one of the loveliest atmospheres I have ever entered, but it was likely the most detail-oriented bars I ve been to. First and foremost, the service was sublime. Each waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the items offered, and had a wonderful attitude during their service. Secondly, the menu was jam-packed with vibrant products unlikely to be found elsewhere. The drinks and food exuded cultivation and allure and were only rivaled in quality by the artwork and interior design. From the coupe-shaped bar architecture to the purse rungs beneath it, the entire venue felt well thought-out, welcoming, unique, and timeless. I wouldn t just recommend this bar to those in Dallas, I would urge them to visit.
