This was so much fun! It was our first time and played Squid Games. The game lasted 60 minutes and had six challenges, each ten minutes long. There are single player challenges and some you have to work as a team. Great idea for a fun day or night out, date night, and family night. The facility was clean and Mike, on the staff was nice and helpful.

I went here with a couple of my friends a few weeks ago. My friends had never been but I had been to the location in the Colony when it was called Electric Gamebox. I liked my Dallas (Deep Ellum) experience just as much as The Colony experience. The only thing that made me a little uncomfortable at first about the Dallas location was the fact that the game boxes were out in the open so other people who were not playing could see you but I figured the Dallas location was designed like this on purpose. Also, the game boxes themselves get pretty warm inside so I do wish there was some air conditioning. However, I appreciated the fact that we could order beverages during the game because I did get thirsty for some water. We enjoyed the game we played (Squid Game) which was recommended by the worker who checked us in. I would definitely come back. I think it is a great place to have fun and do something different with family and friends.

Recently came here with my two daughters, 10 & 7 (for my youngest birthday). We pre-paid for the 90-minutes without selecting games because we wanted to pick something when we got there. The front desk guy was super nice and knowledgeable. For it being a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty quiet and chill. Not too busy. Oh! BTW, parking is free on the street until 6pm. Anyways, great atmosphere, nice staff, cool private room to share with your guests. Overall, I will say I thought it was a Virtual Reality (VR) type of setting but it s not. It is solely an immersive experience, with sensors and projections on the three walls around you. It was still very neat! The first game was a bit too challenging for my 7 yo, so she tapped out and just watched but it was suggested for 12+, so it made sense. She really enjoyed the Alien Aptitude Test game. That was 8+. Overall, for the price I would say it s worth it but an hour is all that s needed for younger kids. I am interested in the summer deal for next year!! Oh! The only con from the experience was it got really hot in that private room. The AC wasn t working well but the staff member accommodated us and all was good!

I have been wanting to do this forever and finally got an opportunity while visiting Dallas. First Mike was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, overall made the experience better. Second we did squid game, we wanted the AI mystery but it was booked out weeks in advance. Parking across the street is metered and I believe it is free during the day. The area appears to be downtown and is walking distance to art stores and trendy restaurants. Back to squid games, my biggest statement is if you naturally shake like I do, some of the games in squid game will be a bigger challenge. At one point I tried to hold my hat still with my hands. Alas I was the biggest loser, and we have confirmed who will play the game on our behalf. There was plenty of activity, movement, both individual and group games to play. Tons of high fives and enjoyment from everyone. I will be back to play the others.
