Our family just had lunch at NY Joes in Crowley and this was our first visit. Let me just say, this won t be our last!!! We tried several different pasta dishes and Stromboli. Every dish was delicious and the service was excellent. You must give this restaurant a try!

I believe any pizza out of Kroger s freezer section would meet or exceed the pizza my wife and I ordered today. A higher temperature on the oven will cook the food faster to achieve speedy service but the quality will suffer. Burnt on the bottom and the top side of the crust (below the toppings) undercooked and slimy. My wife experienced crunchy uncooked vegetable toppings. The toughest pizza I have ever had. Do to the number pizza-rias around here I will probably never return.

This place is extremely rude !! I just called to place an order thinking they had cheeseburgers as well as pasta the man who answered was extremely rude he said he don t have time for this hung up in my ear twice . He could ve said they do not sell burgers and asked if i wanted something else but instead he was very very rude & literally said we re a Italian restaurant i dont have time for this and hung up ! I ve never been disrespected like this by any type of restaurant ever in my life . This was my first and last time ever trying to eat from there !! Do not recommend

Went for lunch. Large variety of Italian entrees, with salad and bread, for $6.99. Update: I went today, March 9th 2024, because I wanted some fettuccine alfredo. When I walked in, there was a big sign in the front saying that they can only do takeout orders. Someone, who I now assume is the owner, came up to the front. I asked him does this mean that I cannot sit down and eat? He said yes thats what it means. Then he went on and on about how he cant get any help for waiting tables and had to go to all takeout. Then I asked him what was probably a dumb question. I asked does that mean the prices are the same since hes not paying wait staff anymore. He went ballistic. He said he most certainly would not reduce prices. And he kept going on about how nobody would work waiting tables. I just decided to leave so I turned around and walked out. I said something as I walked out, and I dont even remember what it was, but he followed me out to the car. Ive seen some other reviews here that talk about the owner and I can tell you firsthand hes nuts. The sad thing is that I had eaten at this restaurant many times before and they have excellent fettuccine alfredo. I have also seen that he has commented on the bad reviews hes gotten. Its unprofessional to me and I wont be going back.

Tried picking up my order. NO ONE came to help. I saw orders sitting out so I found mine and took it. One of the employees came and SNATCHED the order from me. Then told me I could wait and to go back to the front. My friend went in to get the order and he basically said that that s not how this place is ran. My friend told him that I misunderstood then and his response was Misunderstood what? Then would not give us the order. Very CLASSLESS, very passive aggressive, and VERY BAD BUISNESS. Colby took great care of my family. I always visit when Im visiting from East Texas. They have tremendous variety on their menu and if you dont see what you want, just ask, Colby will make it work. I only eat at NY JOES in DFW when I want Italian. Salads are really really great as are the rolls. Calzones and Strombolis are well worth the money. As is everything else on the menu. Pizza and Pasta is good and they have great lunch specials. Vegetarian options: Plenty of great salads and Colby will work with customers to make sure they get what they want. Im diabetic and Colby takes care of me.

Ordered online. Picked up order and when I got home part of the order was missing. Called to let them know and owner answered. After I told him what was wrong he immediately went into a rage, He swore up and down he put it in himself, and accused me of eating it!. Very strange interaction. I was being calm at first I just wanted to get my calzone but he kept ranting and raving how he cant be giving away food to everyone and being very rude. Really got under my skin. We went back and forth and he would not resolve the issue. Overall the food is excellent, we have always received great service but this was a very bad experience and will not be going back!

I am an Excutive Chef of 20 years. My wife is in the F&B business for the same amount of time. In the past decade or so we have noticed a huge drop in customer service. Colby, who i believe is the owner of NY Joes is a breath of fresh air. He remembers us. Is always friendly and eager to adapt to our requests. With a premium put on cost of goods these days i think customer service has fallen drastically. I believe NY Joes stands above the rest in Crowley in no small part by Colbys efforts. The owner replied he has a perfect health inspection rating to another customer & called them liar.(under google review) . How awful! The last inspection on October 27, 2023 from the Tarrant County health inspection, There were at least 6 violations found, to include drug paraphernalia and cellphones found near plates and food. Other violations include deficiencies in santitation and safe food handling practices. Eeewwh! That does not sound like a perfect score to me & cant trust someone with my health who lies about their food inspections, bc when will it end? .

WARNING! I picked Up a door dash for a customer from NY Joe s Pasta and Pizza. Once I arrived an older looking male named Colby later identified himself as the Owner, was rude, unprofessional and dismissive. I felt targeted & bullied. I m a single mother with two children and he threatened to have me banned which would hurt me financially, and said I had an attitude, which is a microagressive term targeted at black women to be dismissive and demeaning. The crazy part is, I said nothing at all to him to warrant this behavior. I usually patronize restaurants after I dash, if I havent been there before, however I will never go here. I hope the food is not as horrible as the service. This Man s attitude was appalling and I have never experience such treatment.

** Updated Review** Went again tonight with my daughter. Again the food was really good (Had the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken) . The service is absolutely fantastic!! So super nice, working his tail off to make everyone happy We will return again and again. Thank you so much for a super nice mother - daughter evening ! 10 ! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Decided to come here for a last day of school lunch with my Daughter and Grandson. The place was empty, but to be honest, the location is not great for visibility and the decor could use a little sprucing up ... however, the service was fantastic ! I wish Id gotten our servers name to mention, but he was really friendly, helpful and fast (he gave his name but my grandma brain didnt retain it). We ordered mozzarella sticks, sodas, and a Large meat lovers pizza ... the cheese sticks were good, basic, but good. The pizza was absolutely out of this world! The pricing was on par with other independantly owned places and worth every penny. I havent had pizza that good since 2000 when I visited a place in Paramus, NJ. We will be back for sure and I really hope more folks hear about and visit this place. They deserve the accolades and the business.

I come to this establishment often to pick up door dash orders. I must say the owner usually has these items ready within minutes. I normally dont have to wait. We have been ordering Pizza and Pasta from NY Joes for years! It is always delicious! Pizzas are loaded with toppings! LOADED! Pasta is the best around! Try the Shrimp Alfredo! Can confirm the owner has a attitude problem as many other reviewers have mentioned. I drive for doordash and have picked up there several times with no issues. So im a familiar face. Friday night he scolded me for being there too early. Pick up time on my app was 8:39 pm and i walked in at like 8:35. (Mind you that 8:39 time is the latest you can pick up without being penalized as a driver). Then he didnt hand me the order until 8:45 so im early and youre late. Maybe just leave it at that bud. That annoyed me but i just blew it off because i didnt really care. Sunday night he asked me the name on my order. I said name . He then proceeded to scold me again for not saying it was with doordash off the top. Just an aggressive bad attitude. I admittedly got into it with him after that and called him a few names but i felt like it was deserved. Then i looked at reviews and see a pattern of him being a bad business owner. Its valid. You said you d ban me from taking orders at your restaurant buddy. Please don t forget to do that

Mom and I tried a different restaurant for chow tonight. Our first time here. Love the old school Italian theme of the restaurant. They have a giant screen with projection tv in the adjoining dining area. We were in the mood for a pie. Got the meat lovers. We added onions and jalapeños. We both also had a simple side salad. I had a couple of ice cold Dos Equis which always taste great with pie. The beer was nice and cold and the pizza was really good. I know my wife would really like it as it was what I would call light marinara sauce. The young man serving is is named Colby. He s also the owner. Very polite young man with fantastic customer service. Always a pleasure meeting owner/operators who take pride in their products and service to customers. Their location makes it easy to miss as it s on the second row of business on the corner of Crowley Road and 1187. Basically right behind the Golden Chick and Lisa s. The price was very reasonable and the Dos Equis tasted even better when I saw on the bill that they were only three dollars each. An 18 inch meat lovers pizza with two add on s, two tossed salads, and two Dos Equis for $35.69. Come on, what a deal. Thank you Colby, we will definitely be back.

We had another meetup at New York Joes Pasta & Pizza, because its a great place for accommodating a large group of people. I had the pasta Alfredo with grilled chicken and it was excellent! You can tell each dish is freshly made. Other people were having his pasta with meat sauce and that looked excellent also. There was a lot of people getting pizzas to go as we were there. This place is amazing! Stopped by yesterday afternoon with my son, husband and brother-in-law. The food was fresh, savoury, flavourful, & filling it was a pretty good portion you also are given breadsticks & just all around amazing. You can tell it s got this homemade comforting taste, just like nonnas. I got the chicken and shrimp Alfredo and man it s one of those dishes you think of the next day, or immediately you re craving it the next time you re hungry. Everyone enjoyed their dish! The service was amazing our server was very attentive to our table ensuring everything was up to par, and oh Don t even get me started on their Cannolis, not too sweet and it s a very generous size(they re HUGE) This place has definitely been added to my list of Favourites!

Ordered 2 larger pizzas online. When we arrived for pick-up (@ 9 when we were informed to by this business texting us) we were told the pizza would not be made because he was behind. He then told my husband we didnt pay for it. So when I showed the money had been debited from my account he advised me to call Doordash (even though I ordered through the restaurants website). I have tried the spaghetti with meat sauce, the spaghetti with meatballs, fettuccini Alfredo , garlic bread, and garlic cheese bread. All to go. Food is amazing. I came in at 7pm on 2-14-23 to pick up a DoorDash order for 2 orders. After waiting for 40 minutes, only one is ready and Colby(one of the owners) told me I need to go delivery the first order and the other one will be about 10-15 minutes. Not a place you want to go to for atmosphere! The restaurant should be for take out only. We ordered pasta which was just ok but the mushroom appetizer was great! I order delivery on their pizzas all the time and I highly recommend it. Great pizza! The guy that was waiting on us was amazing. Whatever they are paying him it s not enough!!

the place needs more sunlight.. its too dark inside. I would suggest a interior redesigning. like opening more window or sun roof openning..hey but the food is good specially Linguiny seafood..Pizza is the best for the money..service wait for food is worth the freshness of the food served..15 minutes or so..

I m from Philly where good pizza and Italian food are in every neighborhood. I am in Crowley quite often. Have to admit I was skeptical. Small town in texas with a good pizza shop? No way! WELL I WAS WRONG! The pizza is VERY GOOD! If this place was in a big city in the northeast it would have a big following. Really enjoyed the meat lovers. I will definitely be back when I am in the mood for pizza and Italian. **Bonus**. The antipasto salad was huge and flavorful and the wings were good! Glad to finally find a pizza shop in Crowley

Came in was greeted by colby. Sat down our waiter colby was AWESOME! From answering phones, waiting on tables and to go orders he did all of that wonderful!. We will surely come back enjoyed the food! Try the philly pizza I was iffy about it he recommended it and did not dissapoint at all! Ill be back for more! Thanks! I was with a large group of people who ate lunch at NY Joe s on a Sunday afternoon. Colby, the owner, was welcoming all those in the party and in addition, helped take orders. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken which was delicious. The salad portion was more than enough so I took a box home with me. Colby was so kind, considerate and had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend NY Joe s Pasta and Pizza!

I always get the chicken piccata here bc Colby makes the best lemony sauce with extra capers, just the way I like it it makes all other piccata sauces taste like water lol But after seeing some of the other reviews I might have to order myself 2 meals just so I can try this alfredo of his!!

We went in for lunch and there were maybe 12 people in the restaurant total, none of which on the dining side. When the server came to take our drink order I said what I wanted and his reply was a rude And? I asked my fiancé what he was getting, thinking we were just ordering drinks while looking over the menu. The server then slapped his hands down on the table and said in an aggressive and demeaning tone, look I m really busy right now, can we get on with it? I have a whole bunch of other people in there so if you re not ready then tell me. Either hurry and order or- . We sat there stunned and he walked away. We decided to leave immediately and will not be returning. This server was completely rude and unprofessional. This used to be a nice family place but clearly it no longer is a reputable establishment. One star because zero was not an option. *EDIT* You are absolutely welcome to post the audio and video! If you feel we are incorrect and the video would help your case then you should definitely post it for everyone to see. In fact, NOT posting it would prove the validity of this horrible review you have earned. **EDIT** I m sure you could post it on your Facebook page. They allow videos and photos. We were a little unsure when we first walked in because they did not look like they were open. We were greeted and told we could pick a spot to sit. We only saw one waiter the entire time and he was going back and forth nonstop to serve customers and answer the phones. The food was absolutely delicious and services was great. Ordered food here. The food was packaged horribly. Put pasta with sauce and sandwiches in a huge pizza box. I walked to the car my driver was in because he asked for help saying it s a big box and I seen for sure there was no issue with his handling and could tell he never dropped the box or anything still the sauce was some how spilled and leaked all over the pizza box and through the pizza box to where it was all over the drivers back seat. It was just horrible but I know for a fact it was not the driver. I am very displeased about this, as anyone would be.

Food was wonderfully delicious. It came out fast and the service was great. I can t say enough great things about our experience at Joe s. We were in a hurry to make it to a movie and we made it with time to spare. We got a calzone and a lasagna. The bread on the calzone was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lasagna was huge and perfect.

Just stopped in to grab a pie because Im in town for work. I live in NJ and have eaten NY pizza since I was a kid. The pizza here is definitely legit. Crust, sauce, toppings, cheese, dang even the box feels straight from home. The crust is nice and thin but still holds up. Will definitely be back when Im in town.

The new ownership has come in and changed some of the core things. I loved the pasta trio and our chased yesterday. The Alfredo sauce was watered down no flavor. I get the chicken Alfredo pizza also and its just not the same.

My family and I have eaten here twice now and both times what we have ordered was absolutely delicious First trip I had the sausage sub and my wife and daughter had the chicken Alfredo. Our daughter cannot stop saying how good it was best she ever had. My sub was amazing Last night we had a Hawaiian pizza and eggplant Parmesan. I want to go on record to say this cooked to order eggplant was the second best I ever had sorry but my aunt Snooki s was the best. This is a very close second and I will definitely order it again. Pizza was NY style (thin and airy) I will be telling everyone who listen just how good this is.

Grew up in New Jersey, this place makes it like I m used to! Ordered a supreme for the workers building a bardominium on our property and I need help lifting that pizza into the car. Awesome!! Glad they re right down the street. Best pizzas around!!! We ll be back for more things on the menu too.
