Our waitress was named Yes, and the service was AMAZING. This is the first we came to La Tequila Jalisco. We were immediately seated. Before we could sit down somebody came to get our drink orders and at the same time, Yes, came to hand us menus. Our order was in a timely manner and the food was out of this world delicious!!! I ordered chicken fajitas with shrimp in a mango salsa. Our waitress Yes kept checking on us, unlike other restuarants they forget you. Prices were fair. Overall 10/10 service and enviornment. Definitely coming back!!

(Ordered through DoorDash) First off, they are not stingy with meat. It may not look like it in the photos but they are generous with the meat portions. Really worth the price they charge considering they are delicious too. What I didn t like, the rice was crunchy almost rice krispies. Horchata was okay. Tres leches was also just okay. Anyway, I would still order from them next time when I m in the area. I ll most probably try different dish.

Don t let the empty parking lot turn you away. We showed up at 5:30pm on a Wednesday and it wasn t busy. Quick service , the waiter gave good recommendations. We decide to go have dinner for Father s Day, everything was ok at the beginning the lady was super nice, slow but she was always apologizing because she was taking long, we where ok on waiting because we understand sometimes it s not the waiter fault ok food came and we order pizza for the kids, pizza was ugly not even worthy, kids didn t even eat and my kids love pizza, my husband order a MOLCAJETE and it was OK meat a little burn, I order AGUACHILE, and while I was eating I found a ROACH YES ROACH CRAWLING ON MY PLATE I decide not to say anything because let s me honest that happen sometimes a least it wasn t on my food, ok then i got up and another ROACH CRAWLING ON MY KIDS CHAIR .. ok fine I did not say anything, but I was uncomfortable by that already,,,, ok ticket came and it was $179.00 and I pay $100 cash and decide to pay rest with my card he charge me $90 on my card I ask him why was that? and he said they charge a FEE TO USE THE CARD .. ok I understand but,,,,NO SIGN NOTHING TO BE AWARE,,,,, the CASHIER TOLD ME WELL THATS EVERYWHERE YOU GO,,,WE PERFER YOU TO PAY US CASH I rarely carry cash but o well $12.00 to use my card it s insane .. I absolutely LOVE this restaurant !!! I ve come a few times now and ever since the first time I was more than happy with the service and food. The building itself is beautiful inside and out. The bathrooms are always clean with no odor. The staff is always so kind no matter the server. The environment is great no matter the time of day. The weekends are the best! There s music, karaoke, mariachi bands, good people, good drink specials and just good vibes all around. Now as for the food, I ve had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and have never been disappointed by any of the dishes I ve tried. Food is always fresh, full of flavor, and Correct! I recently ate at El Tequila Mexican Restaurant, and it was amazing! The place was super clean and really pretty inside. The barbacoa was the best Ive had in a while. It was so tasty and cooked perfectly. My family and I loved it. The customer service was top-notch. The staff was really friendly and took great care of us.I was visiting from San Antonio, and I will definitely be going back. El Tequila is a must visit when in town. Also the waitress Ada was kind and friendly. Five stars for her customer service. Kid-friendliness: My nephew loved his smiley pancakes and fruit. He was also greeted with a small packed of color and sheet to color on. Very thoughtful.

The restaurant is very clean and nice. The service was good. My wife didnt like the posole, and they removed it from the ticket and brought us something different. I had the birria and the flavor was good, but I would have liked the tortillas a little more toasted. I prefer that the tacos are crunchy. The green salsa that came with the tacos was a little bland and watery, but the avocado salsa was delicious and had the right amount of heat. They served chips and salsa, and we enjoyed the salsa. Everyone enjoyed their meals and liked the lemonade. We will visit again when we are in town.

When we entered, it took 5 minutes for anyone to greet us although the were less than 5 customers in the restaurant. Then after we ordered drinks, nobody returned to our table to take our dinner order for 15 minutes and most tables (including ours) were dirty. Overall attentiveness of staff was just a little disappointing since most reviews are nice. We decided to not order dinner since the glasses for our margaritas were visibly dirty, at least the outside. We did not finish even half of our drink and probably will not return.

The staff is friendly, the food is sooo good! Everything comes out fresh and fast. I had the carne guisada plate(in the picture i put all that pepper on it myself, it doesnt come like that). I absolutely love the carne guisada but I will say its not traditional Mexican tasting but its good. My favorite thing is the beans though, they are the perfect consistency and taste so very good! They are open for breakfast but I have gone twice for breakfast and there was nobody there which I cant understand because the food and drinks are great,the staff are nice and the restaurant is very clean and well lit. Go try it!

A true hidden gem in Corpus Christi! La Tequila Mexican blew me away with the quality, flavor, and portion sizes for the price. The Mar y Terra Parrillada was incredible and highly recommended. 10/10!

I LOVE IT. It s my favorite Mexican restaurant in Corpus Christi. Food is delicious. I recommend the Quesabirrias. Drinks are amazing specially Expresso Martini & Carajillo. 10/10

A hidden Diamond in plain sight. La Tequila Mexican Restaurant is a Jalisco style restaurant with a kick. All your local favorite dishes with a truly Mexican Flare, like dressed beer including chamoy trimmed with salt, bean dip that is amazing. Karaoke on Wed and Sunday and Mariachis on Friday. Great service and great food.

The food was great. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was the best. Karaoke night was awesome. Best time I have had in a long time. Mexi-burger was really delicious. My wife tacos were the best. The flameada queso was to good to be true yet it was.

Jasmine was my server our first visit. She was amazing from all aspects. We came back and she happened to serve us again. Needless to say we came back for a third time. The service was great and food was Amazing and fresh as always . Today Ill call myself a regular. Although I get something different everytime. I have to get a bowl of fiedo. They give you a little upon arrival and its definitely the best. Highly recommend a margarita as well .
