We went here for our anniversary the last 2 days. Shelli is the sweetest and takes such good care of us. We have been coming here for years. Never disappoints. She knows her wine and gives the best recommendations and now we have our favorite rosé ( Love You Bunches) that we get every time we come in. We celebrated Valentines also here and we will be back soon and especially for my Birthday. It s so quaint and inviting. A must stop for a perfect afternoon glass or a tasting or a bottle. My wife and I recently visited this establishment and had an exceptional experience. The ambiance, enhanced by the lighting and music, was delightful, and the wine selection was superb. Shelly, the owner, was both helpful and welcoming. Her two beautiful dogs added to the charm of the place with their friendly demeanor. Upon entering, the proprietress, in my experience, is rather dismissive and unwelcoming, unless she knows you personally or you are with a group of people. Please appreciate that walking in solo can be a little daunting; not everyone is as comfortable with the space as you are. On the other hand, I fully appreciate that you are busy serving other customers, but please make more of an effort to welcome equally everyone who walks through the door. Unfortunately this situation appears to be recurrent. That said, pleasant space with a broad selection of wines.

I m so sorry to leave a bad review but we just stoped by. Hoping to celebrate our anniversary but we did not feel welcome when we came in, we were greeted poorly with more interest on not letting the dogs out than actually wanting us to come in. The dogs are super cute and were the best part of our visit even thought they jumped on us. Anyways, didn t get a chance to try anything because we really felt uncomfortable. Just writing so you can try to check the attitude that is present to people so they can feel like they want to be here.

Stopped here for the first time for a quick date with the wife. We came in the middle of inventories and cleaning, but Shelly was very engaging and friendly. Great selection of old world wines which is our preference. Had a nice bottle of Spanish Tempranillo. Wanted to try the food but we came a bit early, but we will definitely come back. Great ambience, decor, and service. Looking forward to seeing this place with some people. Appreciate her support for veterans as well.

Visited for our 1yr anniversary. Could not ask for anything to go better then it did. Food was delicious(empanadas are a must). Owner has great taste and is very knowledgeable about the wine selections. A truly one of a kind place! We are dog lovers, so the puppies made it a great experience. I LOVE LOVE Cellar24. It s not only a great wine bar for wines by the glass but a specialty wine store. Shelli Moran, the owner, is a Level 2 Sommelier and has chosen her inventory of wines from select vineyards. I don t need Spec s, Total Wine, or Twin Liquors. Shelli can offer fantastic finds for my particular palette and will get wines I prefer at comparable prices. Returning from Italy recently, she was able to acquire some fabulous wines I had there that other stores could not get for me. We also enjoy Taco Tuesday, Trivia night, weekend music but the wine classes and dinners bringing in winemakers from across the country are fantastic. She is also passionate about giving to veterans and Wheel Chairs for Warriors or anything First Responder are regularly planned events that are not only fun but moving. Don t miss out on this hidden little gem in Sterling Ridge. Grab a bottle from the shelf, have a glass from her wine menu, and kickback on the couch petting Maverick. Cellar 24 is a total win for any wine lover.

This spot is such a hidden gem! Came with a few girls to join a glass of wine and it happened to be trivia night. Love that it s nestled in a quiet area and I can enjoy a glass or 4 of wine. Love this place. Best wine bar in The Woodlands. It has become the go-to spot for date night with my wife. Friday night music and wine to start the weekend off just right. I visit Cellar 24 often and always leave with a smile on my face....not because of too much wine...although that might have happened :)....but because of the Warm Atmosphere, Excellent food and outstanding Hospitality. Cellar 24 is a little treasure! We signed up for a 4 course prix fixe menu and it was divine!! For $65 a person we got a delicious bruschetta with fig, mascarpone and prosciutto, a tender bed of spinach dressed with a bacon vinaigrette and an amazing short rib gnocchi. My husband had the miso glazed cod on ginger quinoa and he ate every bit of it! We were able to finish it up with a tasty little chocolate tart! Shelli the owner poured some incredibly delicious wines to pair with our meal. We cannot wait to return!! Thank you Shelli and Cellar 24!

We have been going to this place since before it was Cellar 24 and it has only gotten better through the years. I could not ask for a better selection or host. My wife and I are part of two of their wine clubs and have been introduced to such cool niche wines. Stuff we would never find on our own. Taco Tuesday is the best day to dine here. So MUCH food!! Such a cool and chill place! They had live music, which was very nice good tunes to sing along to, also great wine! Affordable bottle prices as well! Which was great! We really enjoyed our time. Owner is quite rude. Barely greeted us & would not even direct us to what table we could ve been seated at. Simply told us she was preparing for an event and walked in the back. This was after the door was closed at arrival because the owner ran to Kroger s. The business was scheduled to be open at this time. At least her dog is cute, because her attitude is dismissive and impolite to say the least. LOL. Reading the owners completely miscategorized response youd think Im being ridiculous. Went there on a Saturday about a quarter to 9, were well aware they close at 10. However when we got there looking up our favorite wine she had to reminded us (with no smile) in front of a couple other people (slow on a Saturday?...hmmm) she was closing in 15 minutes. Its sad when hard-working Americans coming in to a place to unwind and relax fully aware of the hours of operation, silly cork fees, slow business, etc. Its embarrassing for the owner to tell us to exit in 15 minutes. We have bought a membership to her silly wine club well now well be canceling that as soon as we get a chance were busy people no time for this rudeness from anyone ever zero stars.

Beware. I was here for a friends birthday; the place itself is really cute, and if you ignore the owners chillingly cold, bone-dry demeanor, the atmosphere is actually really nice. However, what wasnt very nice was the outrageous, underhanded and frankly quite appalling bill they received for the evening. A HUGE warning to anyone looking to patronize this business... the owner adds WILDLY excessive surprise charges onto the bill after-the-fact. I was literally in shock when I learned that almost $500 worth of additional fees were tacked onto the bill on top of the wine consumed and paltry charcuterie spread provided. This was absolutely NOT disclosed, nor even eluded to beforehand. I would be curious to know what the difference is between simply walking in with a large group of people, versus whatever the owner considers to be a party that she is hosting. It would seem to me, she would be content with the business of the 10+ people patronizing her establishment, but it looks like charging for the space a customer occupies in her facility to consume her products is more lucrative. Needless to say, I will NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone else, and now that I am aware of the shamefully-excessive party charge that was tacked on afterwards, I can guarantee the owner that I will bring no friends or family of mine to the place ever again. VERY disappointing. Shame on you. There s a difference between being high-end/expensive and being flat-out absurd. I m afraid the owner of this establishment is the latter. Congrats on gaining 10+ customers who will absolutely not be back.

This is one of my favorite spots in The Woodlands. The selection of small production wine and the knowledge of the staff hasnt lead me to a bad choice. I have been a wine club member here for a few years now. The owner, Shelli, always accommodates when I need that perfect wine for the occasion. I am in Cellar 24 several times a week because its a more personal experience than trying to find help in one of the large wine shops. In addition to the wine help, Shelli has also prepared several charcuterie boards for me this holiday season. These were beautiful creations that impressed and I left both parties with everyone asking where I had ordered these! Cellar 24 is my go to place because of the personal service I receive. One of my favorite spots to grab wine by the glass or enjoy a whole bottle. The owner and staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and I love how there s always a story behind the wine and why it was selected to be sold in her store. I also joined the monthly wine club. I usually stick to my old favorites but the wine club has forced me to get out of my comfort zone and try wines I might not have otherwise. I do get the corkage fee though, Im sure consuming wine on premises has a whole new set of taxes and permits... Plus its WORTH IT FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE. (youre not getting this kind of wine knowledge at most places these days). Seriously, thought they miss priced wines so I bought a few and got the heck out of there, before they realized it. LOL!

I love cellar 24! Totally disagree with the comment about the wines not being very interesting. The owner tasted me on a white cotes du rhone and a zinfandel blend, both were so good and so unique I couldnt decide which to have. Wines by the glass are less expensive than most any restaurant or bar and the bottle prices are incredibly reasonable as well. Fun atmosphere, hospitable staff and they draw really talented musicians for the live music. My boyfriend drinks craft beer and they have a really diverse selection so there is something for both of us to enjoy. I highly recommend this wine bar!

Good selection, service, and friendly atmosphere. My only complaint is I had 6 oz left in our bottle and was shocked they charged me a corkage fee! If I had known they did that I would have just drank the rest of the bottle. It was my first visit so we were caught off guard. We have visited wineries and wine bars all over this county and Texas and this was the fist time weve ever been charged a cork fee. It left a sour taste in our mouths and weve never been back.

We really wanted to like this place! Life music was great, but disappointing uninteresting wines, and service without warmth or enthusiasm. On top of that the place is overpriced. Pity, because cellar 24 definitely has potential with a few changes.

Great selection of local and international wines, in a relaxing, yet classy and upscale setting. Shelli is knowledgeable, honest and an extremely pleasant woman with whom I recommend seeking advice on anything vino. Not only does she know her wines, but she personally knows her winemakers as well and regards each of them and their wines as unique and special.

Nice place to have some wine, chill and relax in a casual environment. Food selection consists of cheese plates, charcuterie, small bites - perfect for having wine. Food tastes good. Live acoustic music is very good (we went on a Friday). Just wish the lights are just a tad bit dimmer. Had a great time! Definitely will come back when we just want to chill and de-stress.

The friendly staff members here are happy to help you pick out the perfect bottle of wine, even if you come into the store without knowing exactly what you want. They have helped me pick winners on multiple occasions. They have an email list you can join to hear about fun events at Cellar 24, such as Taco Tuesday and nights where there are live musicians. Definitely stop by sometime and enjoy a nice atmosphere and some good wine.

Shelly and Justin are great owners and fun to get to know. Staff is great also. Atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with a great wine selection. They also carry some craft beer for those that want something different. Food is always excellent and Taco Tuesdays are the best! A must visit local wine bar if youre in the area.

Dont go here and waste your time or your money. Overpriced wines. Extremely limited selection of wines by the glass. Owners are aloof. Claim to have only boutique wines which is not true. I have lots of friends in the Woodlands who enjoy wine and not one of them who has been here has anything good to say about this place.

Pleasant atmosphere. Good selections. Good pours. Limited selections on wines by the glass and very expensive. Never walk out without dropping $100 bucks. Never seen a HH or specials offered. Owner (husband) is nice and helpful.
