Last Sundays menudo at this location was absolutely HORRIBLE! The menudo was so overcooked that when I started to chew it, it literally had the texture of slime! It was so spicy that I didnt finish it, and theres no sense in talking to someone because I had an issue previously, and they turned a blind eye and tried to justify it! Never again! I guess Ill make the extra drive to the Gollihar @ Weber location. At this location, the customer is NEVER right!

Got food poisoning and a big hospital bill because of this horrible,foul establishment!I have already reported them and their disgusting nasty food!Customer service is the worst ever!The waitresses have the ugliest attitudes like you owe them something.The manager is a joke and cooks need to be fired.The tortilla soup that I ordered was tasteless,the cheese was clumpy n tasted rotten n the chicken was from their flautas.My family that came in with me, hated it and barely touched their food.What a waste of my money.And its an insult to those people if you dont speak Spanish,your in America now,its time to speak English!You all deserve a big fat 0!!And they hire family members to leave a good review!Disgusting stank place!!

The waitress got the order wrong and wouldnt fix it. I was going to have to pay for her mistake plus the re order. They threatened to call the cops. After I offered 20 dollars for them to just let me leave. Because they stood in front of the door. And I never saw a manager. The girls name was Marisa and hardly spoke english.

Place has been around forever. Used to eat here when I lived in Corpus 20 years ago. Still great service and great food. If youre here for breakfast, I recommend the Chilaquiles con pollo plate or the breakfast tacos. My favorite is kinda brunch, carne guisada and cheese. Dinner is great too.

The food was really good! Not excited about the chips, but the salsa was good. Service was fast and pleasant. No employee was rude! Our waitress checked on us a few times with a smile on her face. Affordable prices, too. Everyone was minding their own business. I was there during the lunch hour. So if you are pressed for time, this is the place to go. I dont really like Mexican restaurant food, but this was definitely an exception. 8.97/10 will continue going to try other food off the menu. I had a #5 combination plate, and my mom had chicken caldo with homemade corn tortillas. Its true what they say about this place. (=

This place is trash with horrible Management I went and ate dinner and order queso and then they charged me $12 for a small bag of tortilla chips. Then The cockeyed bartender was extremely rude and management condoned her behavior! There are 1000 other Mexican restaurants in the area! Pick one but not here! This place was pretty good! Portions were large for the price and the food was tasty. The salsa was not for me though, it tasted like picante sauce you get from the grocery store. They do give you 2 different hot sauces once your food comes which were better than the table salsa.

My family visits this restaurant often but I will rate them for todays drive thru service. We ordered a chicken caldo and when I opened it there was 1 tiny chicken leg and nothing else. I proceeded to call the restaurant and when I asked for the manager she refused to give me her name. Then she hung up on me. My family or friends will not return to this place. There female nameless manager needs to learn how to deal with the public. Horrible customer service. The beauty of this is there are many more Mexican restaurants I can go to, but I will not spend any more on this one.

My mother and I ordered to go at drive thru. When we got home, we realized we did not have a receipt as we paid cash, and they messed up the order entirely. We asked for bean, potato, egg and cheese to only just bean and potato. My mother drove back up to show them the order -1 taco as she tried it and realized the mess up. It wouldn t be uncommon for people to make mistakes, as this restaurant seems to be an expert in, but they decided to charge her extra for egg for the 3 tacos. EVEN THO THEY MADE THE MISTAKE. That tells you a lot about the establishment.

I ordered something different ,a fire roasted corn quesadilla, I did not add any meat , I did not think it needed it , and I was right. If I did order it again and I wanted meat , I would get shredded chicken. I also ordered 1 tamale ,it tasted good, but fell apart easily. Man this was a great surprise! Price was phenomenal, taste was great, service was super, ambiance was okay but not bad. My only complaint is the you only get TWO tortillas with this meal, the Molcajete for one (but can feed 2 or 3). The salsa ( chips and salsa ) was great. Warm and tasty. Not too spicy, just spicy enough. I wish I lived near this place but I was visiting for business. I will go again if I am in the area.

This place is the average Tex-Mex Corpus restaurant. Waitress today was not attentive. She kept forgetting whatever I asked for, never refilled my coffee, which is always a must do in any restaurant. Came to ask if we needed anything just to never bring what we asked for. The food was okay but pricey. I appreciate them making an effort to keep up with the building maintenance, fresh paint job, and new upholstery in the benches. That makes the place look clean and keeps the old manteca smell at bay.

This is my go to place but why has the service gotten so bad? The food is almost perfection but the poor service is just ridiculous.We all are in the customer service business and if tips are how you make your money attention to detail is a big deal.Hope you guys get better and make sure the waitstaff checks on tables like they are expecting a tip.There are some great tippers out there , remember that!

Great food and great prices,but I have begged,pleaded,and asked repeatedly to the owner of the place to put less salt in the food.all he can say is that is what the receipe calls for. I tell him you can always add salt to the food but you can never take salt out of the food especially the avacado salad.upgrade(12/29/23) we just visited this place today and ask for a guacamole salid and again it had lots of salt.my wife only tasted it and we complained to the waitress and at the register but they said it wasnt salty and we had to pay for it although they took it .what a slap in the face.we have been coming to this place since they opened it.we dont deserve this after all the times we have been there.

My experience with this restaurant was horrible. Although I did not eat there, I placed a to go order to the wrong Acapulco, my mistake and would have called the other Acapulco on to cancel. I explained that to whoever took my order in the drive thru. This worker told me because I placed the order at Weber location and not Saratoga location. I had to pay for the tacos over there plus the ones I ordered at the SARATOGA location. Mind you the tacos were 3 potato egg and bacon, nothing complicated. I m sure the tacos left at Weber were distributed to another customer ordering the same simple taco I ordered. How ridiculous to say to a customer who made a small mistake. The drive thru woman refused to take my new order unless I paid for a total of 6 tacos when I only needed 3. Customer service was devastating to say the least. I have never been treated this way at any restaurant in Corpus. Any other place would have found that to be an easy fix. But this restaurant made it so difficult and unfair to me and to the 2 other people that were with me.

I hate to do this, but today was just the worst I have ever felt at a restaurant. I had my family with me and for 10 minutes they just treated us as if we were invisible. I used to think this was a really good restaurant until today. we walked in at 8:20pm and were standing by the door waiting to be seated,or at least thats what we thought. Went in after chuch one of the kids wanted menudo which was their special today. It smelled so bad and he could not eat it at all. It was horrible the smell made us sick to our stomach no one wanted it near them or to try it. Mind you we eat and make menudo and never has it smelled that way. Waitress told us to let them know when we paid. We go to pay and was told we heard about the menudo but this is how we make it, we make it the day before and no one has complained or returned so you still have to pay. The crazy part is this restaurant is willing to lose customers over something simple like a bowel of menudo. Wish I would have taken a photo of the untouched large bowl of nasty smelling menudo.

This is the second time that I have gone to this restaurant and ordered take out and both times the same lady at the register took the order. We always check to see if all is correct and as always...no its NOT!! Today one taco was missing and she says there were 5 which was correct but there were only 4 in our order. So I guess I paid for her dinner taco. Someone needs to keep an eye on her because she or someone else is taking food that we ordered. Just ask and I will buy you a taco and stop stealing from your customers. I was charged for an invisible taco that was not in my bag. Next time IF I Do RETURN I will get what I paid for....By the way I also ordered the fajita mini tacos. There was more cilantro than meat in the tacos. No Thanks...

I would give them a 0 star of it would let me they are so rude and unpleasant we called on Thursday to place a order and someone answered the phone and acted like the spoke another language then hung up I kept trying to call back they kept on hanging up on me so I called the other Weber restaurant and place my order when I got there I called again to this location and put it on speaker the manager heard it for her self and said she was going to call over there and speak to the manager and also the owners brother and have him call me which he didnt call me back I had to call again on Saturday which was yesterday he said he would look into it and offered a discount which I dont need but it was the principal so we called today to use the discount when my wife got there they were busy in drive thru so she went inside to get our order she was the only one in line until 2 people came behind her to pay for there meal in the mean time no one ever greeted my wife and helped the other people instead of her and when they finally went to help her said they were no going to give us a discount per the owner and his brother which was fine if they would of said it nicely but the made it seem like we were lying this is the last time we ever go there or any Acapulco to eat at.

This is my favorite place to eat. I love the parrillada and the homemade flour tortillas. Service is great our server was awesome. Place is nice and clean with an awesome atmosphere. I moved out of town . La comida está súper deliciosa. Me fascina todo de aquí Definitivamente recomendado thumbs up
